Toast falls onto her back ow and lies on the ground, spreadeagled. She looks exhausted. "H-Hey, I'm just gonna sit here and try to avoid movement for a bit. You guys go on without me..."
Toast tucks her arms back in so they don't get trampled, and rolls over ow ow ow onto her side.
The music then cuts out.

"Eh?" she says, sitting up again ow ow. "I'll just... be back in a moment." She time travels to who-knows-when, and before returning to the present some time later along her timeline. She still looks a bit under the weather, but nothing more than tiredness, really. "Sorry about that. Sometimes I don't really know my own limits. Not a very good trait for a sorceress, heh."
Seems that while she was out, she did the following:
-Place two skillpoints into SPC, thus unlocking Efficientuition and a fill condition for her special (healing allies). Also +1 Enlightened intensity on her trait.
-Purchase a Sticky Note.
-Equip the previously mentioned Sticky Note in place of Deviant Radio.
(Spell: Deep Thinking) (Resistance: Psychic)
-Learn Bag of Tricks.

Her changes described, she ows her way over to Marron. Her voice is a little shaky as she speaks to her, "H-hey, do you want to head back to the house for a bit? I feel like I'm gonna combust if I cast anything else." Toast then looks over to Taeda, who seems to be nodding off. "Hey, uh, Taeda... If you're getting tired, you might want to come with us. Considering there's a nightmare Iti running about this place, it would be for the best for everyone if you don't fall asleep in here."

Toast then heads back to the house, tailed by whoever else wants to join her. Once there, she requests an item from the presumably present Marron, "Hey Marron, do you think you could improve my hat? It's currently invisible, but I promise you that there's a hat there."
She forks over 60 credits as she 'tips' her invisible top hat to Marron, the only evidence of it existing being the displacement of her hair.
"And if you could somehow make it synergise with my whole 'not knowing spells' ability, then that'd be pretty neat. Alternatively, you could ignore the hat, and just make a scarf. Invisible things are probably hard ot work with, and I've always liked the idea of wearing a scarf."

Soulblossoms get harvested and 1 of them is replaced with manabloom.
I walk over to G41. then, using 3 wood, I craft a spike pit which can be stood on its side to act as a spike wall. I then cast terraform. since the spike pit exists, its a tile on the map, so i can terraform in more. spike pits at 43 and 44 G, spike walls at H43 & G42. I put the original back in the inventory.
if i can execute multiple turns of actions in this faux battle, I then cast illusory trap, leave it at H41, and hide at 42E.

----------------
in the battle, i can't move much because ZOC, so me and my clone attack the harmonizer then retreat to D11 & D12.

Destiny takes a point out of RES and puts all 3 points in to SPC.

Time for some CRAFTONK.

Destiny takes off her Nightbark Cloak. She then takes 2 Greatwood Logs, a Darkmatter Cluster, and 2 Titanium Ingots, and 1 Gold Ingot. First she cuts the 2 Greatwood Logs into many small planks and spreads them over the Nightbark Cloak. She then takes the Darkmatter Cluster. She forcefully shoves the Darkmatter Cluster into the Nightbark Cloak, which somehow works. The Greatwood is suddenly charcoal black and seems to glow with black. Next, Destiny takes the Titanium and melts it down. She also takes the Gold and melts it down. She combines these two to make a Titanium-Gold alloy, which is durable but still kinda lightweight. She hammers this in to plates that are flexible and fit under the Shadowwood Cloak, and glues them under the cloak for defense.

Items Used: 2 Greatwood Logs, Darkmatter Cluster, 2 Titanium Ingots, 1 Gold Ingot
Result: (T3) Shadowwood Cloak "Nothing personal, kid"
Stats: +4 AGI, +2 SKI, +2 CNT, Tree Blend
Resists: Dark (40%), Light (20%), Air (-30%)

"(Man, over already? They really never put up much of a fight for an empowered posse of clowns. That's depressing,)" Boshi says, despite being on the brink of falling over from battle damage.

So, with DJ Headz outta the way, Boshi and Hat Kid do a number of things.

Firstly, Boshi changes his Trait to one of Hat Kid's design:
"New Trait"
Hammerspace Brewery (#aa00ff)
Every turn, gain a stack of Brew. Brew can be spent on potions with an action, which are then added to the inventory. Maximum of 4 Brew. Start each battle with 2 Brew.

NOTES: (note)
-To use a potion, an action must be taken.
-Potions cannot be used on the turn of creation. Period.
-All potions disappear when the battle ends.
-Potions may be used on others within Range 1-3.

POTION LIST: (note)
Burst Bomb: Deals (3-4) + (Brew Spent x 3) Electric damage.
Armorblast Brew: Inflict Armorbreak(1 + Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) for 2 + (Brew Spent/4 (rounded down)) Rounds.
Rage Tonic: Gain Empower(1 + Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) for 2 + (Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) Rounds. Needs the Steroid Set.
Fury Spirit: Gain Enlightened(1 + Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) for 2 + (Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) Rounds. Needs the Steroid Set.
Adrenaline Pot: Gain Evasive(1 + Brew Spent/2 (rounded down)) for 2 + (Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) Rounds. Needs the Sonic Set.
Restoration Potion: Restore (3-4) + (Brew Spent) HP. Needs the Restorative Set.
Rejuvenating Remedy: Restore (3-4) + (Brew Spent x 2) MP. Needs the Restorative Set.
Eagle-eye Elixir: Gain Focused(1 + Brew Spent/2 (rounded down)) for 2 + (Brew Spent/3 (rounded down)) Rounds. Needs the Hawkeye Set.

MODIFIERS:
Burst Bomb Damage scales with SPC (1/3 rate)
Restoration Potion and Rejuvenating Remedy healing scale with SPC (1/4 rate)
+1 Maximum Brew per 6 SPC
+1 Starting Brew at 10 SPC
+1 Status-inflicting potion power at 16 SPC

Steroid Set at a combined 20 SPC and STR (Allows access to the Rage Tonic and Fury Spirit)

Sonic Set at a combined 20 SPC and AGI (Allows access to the Adrenaline Pot)

Restorative Set at a combined 20 SPC and INT (Allows access to the Restoration Potion and Rejuvenating Remedy)

Hawkeye Set at a combined 20 SPC and SKI (Allows access to the Eagle-eye Elixir)

Next, Hat Kid does some... interesting crafting.

"Hat Kid Plushie (v2)"
INPUTS:
-Hat Kid Plushie (of course)
-Skyscales (x2)
-Greatwood Log (x1)
-+7 Magically Reinforced Gate (x1)
-Speaker System (x1)
-Fresh Manabloom (x3)
-Reisz's Umbrella (Nobody's used it yet, so may as well)
-Nice Coat (x1)
-Spider Silk Spool (x1)

PROCESS:

Time around Hat Kid slows to a crawl as she swipes the Hat Kid Plushie from Boshi's... neck? Back? Who knows at this point...

They both know that having the Plushie be attached to the head slot is hampering to their overall viability, in hindsight. Time to change that. But for what materials they have currently, it's gonna take a lot of work to get it to that point.

Hat Kid takes the Spider Silk Spool and the +7 Magically Reinforced Gate, and just places it in a pile on the ground. She slowly - ever so slowly - drains the enchantment power out of the Gate and into the single spool of spider silk, through a mixture of time-space manipulation, the silk's inherent magical pull for the stuff, and some crafty movement and silent chanting, to get as much of the magic as possible into the silk.

The silk, however, isn't quite enough to take the entirety of the enchantments; the gates are basically still a +5 at best.

That's what the rest of the materials are there for, though.

Hat Kid puts the less enchantable items on next, consisting of the Nice Coat, Skyscales (which she has just killed for whatever makes them float; I'll leave that up for you to picture), and a gutted Speaker System (Hat Kid decided to strip out all the sound-making parts to get at the air-based medium inside; that is what she uses, a couple of small cuts in the skin later). Doing the same thing as before, all the items were enchanted as far as they could possibly go; the gates are now a +2.5 at best.

She then places the Manablooms and Greatwood Log on the pile, and after more stuff is done (the same thing), the gate's about a +1.

Then, she takes Reisz's Umbrella. Not a single person has used it yet, likely because it's a T2 weapon in a sea of possible T3 weapons, and now T4 stuff. It's essentially useless to the party at this point; who'se really going to use an umbrella in their arsenal except Hat Kid herself? Nobody.

She tosses Reisz's Umbrella onto the gates. The last of the energy seeps into the umbrella, rendering the Umbrella smaller and more magical, the gates magically sterile... and physically weakened! The immense amount of stress the magical absorption process took had also strained the gate to give up some of its natural properties; namely, its sturdiness and metallic properties. One very light breeze later, and it crumbles to dust, scattering across the library.

Now for the fun part; actually weaving the stuff into the plushie. Using the Spirit Loom that Simeon and Zahlia made earlier, Hat Kid spins the fibers of the Greatwood Log and Skyscales (now enchanted from earlier) into one cohesive thread, working the loom so hard she's almost sweating already! Wood's hard to work with, alright?

What's not ridiculously difficult, however, is weaving the Silk and Nice Coat together into a usable string; it barely took any effort at all! The weaving's done, anyway, so now onto the plushie itself.

Hat Kid takes the Speaker System Core, and slathers it in a grinded-up Manabloom. Once the manabloom settles, she opens up the Hat Kid Plushie by the belly (making sure to remove the leather coat), and slots the Core into the center of the Plushie. Despite there being a speaker system part in the Plushie now, it doesn't make a sound, and yet, it feels significantly lighter already.

She also slathers the rest of the Manablooms onto the now-shrunken Reisz's Umbrella, decorating it as if it were her own umbrella. Using a bit of the leather from the Nice Coat, Hat Kid sews some of it to the back of the plushie, sets the umbrella into it, and straps another bit of leather onto the plushie to hold the umbrella in place. Not enough to obscure the lovely umbrella any, but enough to hold it in place in the thick of battle.

And, at long last, Hat Kid carefully weaves the two strings into the plushie's body and clothing; the wood goes under the visible part of the clothing to retain that sense of similarity to Hat Kid, and the Silken Weave into the flesh of the Plushie, replacing the old cloth and replacing it with a much softer and much lighter skin. The presence of the Wooden Weave, given it has magically-empowered Skyroot in it, lightens the Plushie up significantly more, and the other magical bits help as well, lightening up the Plushie and making it so that the entire thing doesn't just drain the entirety of the lightness.

All while the Plushie stayed the exact same size. It's great, really. Probably not as great as what Marron or Ette could probably do to it, but it's still good.

To cap things off, Hat Kid re-attaches the Plushie to Boshi, replacing the Spiked Scarf in the process, before setting the flow of time back to normal.

OUTPUT:
Hat Kid Plushie (T4)
Has the exact same stats as the original Plushie, but is instead a one-slot Trinket.

Boshi proceeds to equip the Sprint Hat in his Hat slot and the new Hat Kid Plushie in place of the Spiked Scarf.

Finally, he redistributes his skillpoints and spellslots:
>-4 AGI (Total: 10 AGI w/ equips)
>-6 SKI (Total: 0 SKI)
>+2 MMP (Total: 34 MP)
>+10 INT (Total: 10 INT)
>Replace Riposte with Mirror Image
>Replace Nothing Ventured with Consecutive Normal Punches

After all that, Boshi is noticably close to collapsing from his wounds and exhaustion, but is content with pushing himself to his limits. "(Yeah, you guys go on back to the house. I'm gonna stay here an-- wait what are you doing kid?)"
"You're tired. Go back home to rest. I can take it from here~!"
"(Y-you kiddin'? Yeah, I'm tired from the fight, but I ain't leavin' ya here alo--)"
Hat Kid had already prepared a counterargument to that; "What about everyone else here? We're helping each other, aren't we?"
At this point, Boshi knew he lost the argument with Hat Kid. Like always. He knows that she can handle herself, and their allies will be there to help. Plus, she's not nearly as tired as Boshi, thanks to sitting on his saddle all the time. So he concedes. "(Mph, fiiine.)" He turns to the exhausted group. Given he's not quite as exhausted as some of the others, he offers to carry a few people back. But, uh... "(I can carry about two of you gu-)" Aaaaand he's alone. "(...*sigh*... whatever.)" He just walks back to the house. Alone.

---

Hat Kid, now alone for a while after Boshi left, decides to do some exploring. She walks up to Pop's Hideout, and tries to peer over to the other side of the Severed Overlook. Regardless of whether she sees anything or not, she looks to the ceiling, seeing if she could find a chandelier or a piece of rubble to swing off with a rope or grappling hook. If there is something, she takes some of the rope from Chloe's bag as well as an Iron Ingot (which she shapes into a hook), and swings off it to the other side, being careful to not disturb anything over there.

If not, she shrugs, and walks up the stairs to the Grand Hall Overlook.

The Man moves to C13 and generic attacks Harmonizer 2. He retreats to E12.

He also puts one skillpoint into SPC and one into STR.

Venia sits down with Bass, and prepares some EXPOSITION... In a spoiler. As the Turntables battle is over, the need for three Venias vanishes, so Venia is back to using her second text color.

Bass Exposition

"Ok, Um. I'm gonna try to keep this sort so I don't bore. So, first off: The big butterfly. Not sure how much you actually know about that sucker, but basically; The Rose, the Chaos Butterfly, the Red, the whatever-the-hell-it-actually-is, is a creation of the very first Godmodder, the 'First Evil of God' or just 'Psi,' explicitly to torment the Sleuth, IE the 'old Chairheir' that may or may not be running around as a husk. Uh. Yeah. Literally, a being powerful enough to get a cult around it was made to spite one guy and presumably blow up his home afterwards. Psi was... A massive jerk. I... Honestly have no clue what really happened, but as far as I'm aware, he's almost-succumbed to it at this stage. Saw him as some weird husk thing a while ago."

"Things get complicated, though... Uh, the Sleuth... How do I put this? Basically, he's some kind of AI made manifest. Almost like a robot, but not quite... Uh. I don't get it either to be frank. BUT this meant that the Sleuth's code, infected with the Chaos Butterfly, could, theoretically, be found. Be... Downloaded. As it happened, the code fell into the hands of some random guy from another world. His name's Xavier, and Xavier was the kind of person that, upon having his computer near-explode after running a copy of the code, decided that he ought to make more. And he did. A grand total of... Fourteen times? Fourteen clones of the Sleuth. All were plauged by copies of the Chaos Butterfly, and aside from the very first and very last copies of these fourteen, all of them were purged, Butterfly included. So, yes; your former god has been slain by some teenage punk twelve times before without much care, and held back pretty admirably before that point. I'll get back to him, though, as well as the remaining first Butterfly."

"So, uh, the fourteenth instance of the Sleuth's copied AI is known as Irecreeper, IE the 'traitorous Chairheir' that participated in the second Godmodding War. Why he did that thing that casued the End War-the whole 'teleport the Chairian frontline away from the frontline to the Godmodding war thing'- uh, I 'unno. I have two theories: either Xavier forcibly took command, or Ire was prepping them due to intelligence that King IKEA was going to invade with a powerful Tabletopian Flagship, among many other powerful enemies. IKEA did show up... Well after the Chairian Legions were slaughtered to the last, though Ire did kill IKEA. Uh, I think you know the story from there, except, no, you do not."

"During the WAR, earlier than this point, Irecreeper was assaulted by an entity known as the... Operator, also known as Slenderman. If there's a single entity in this whole story that'd make the Chaos Butterfly run with its tail between its legs, its the Operator. The Operator's assault on Irecreeper was both mental and physical, and sent the poor jerk back in time... I think. It also mentally screwed him up, which screwed with a lot of the anti-Butterfly restraints. This entity is known as Chaoscreeper, and he was angry at his future self for some reason. And also, he wants to blow up existence because Butterfly influence. Kinda. It's complicated, right now, but he had some very interesting plan beforehand: re-create a joint Tabletopian/Chairian weapon, forcibly KO everything opposed to him with its properties, kill his copy, kill everything else, end existence. He managed to get a hold of the weapon's components and assemble it, dissecting multiple Chairian and Tabletopian bases to do so. Given the similarities, these actions were attributed to the original Irecreeper, because, uh, he technically is the original Irecreeper? Eugh. Time travel. It's still needlessly complicated sometimes. Uh, but he's a nonthreat right now; his test-run of the weapon on some Descendants basically sunk the plan, destroyed the first Butterfly that was apparently residing in his mind, and weakened the fourteenth Butterfly, which put off his corruption. It's... Kinda complicated, and I wasn't there for it, but he's an ally to us at this point. We haven't quite worked out the 'dont' destroy reality' bit, but he's currently helping us on the pretense that the Sphere will killsteal him."

"So, after that point, uh, you know what happens to Irecreeper-imprisoned in the Sphere and going insane thanks to some... Uh. Spice. Literally, some spice. Some amazingly potent, reality-attuned spice, but, spice. Yeah. That's literally the cause of most of this; spice. Uh. Yeah. No real words. But that's turned him into 'WARE,' and, uh, he's gone crazy, which is rapidly weakening the holds upon the Chaos Butterfly. This is where Xavier comes back into play; he's been watching the fourteenth instance, but since he's been imprisoned upon Sussui-as opposed to an, uh, actual computer-he cannot just hard-delete the thing, and probably not even if he was back on a computer due to the Thyme. He's also made a *fifteenth* clone of the Sleuth, this time... Uh, augmented by a biological component, and had the result projected into a robotic body. And by 'biological component,' I mean 'unwilling, unconscious teenage girl.' Nia Khlondis is her name, and either due to the Chaos Butterfly or the Sleuth clone's influence, managed to create a portal to Sussui for herself and Xavier. Nia is currently being recognized by the Rose Cult as their 'queen,' and Xavier... Uh, last I checked, he was screwing around at the Skylabs. Haven't actually met him, yet. Have met Nia, though. Definitely does not deserve to have her mind eaten by a crazy insect with a god complex which occasinally takes over the robot body that is her only means of interacting with the world..."

"What else... Alright, mission goal: purge all the Chaos Butterfly instances in Sussui. Either make them good guys, somehow, or erase them from existence. That means the original Butterfly in the Sleuth, aka the Husk; the Butterfly in the fifteenth Sleuth instance AKA Nia's Butterfly; and, natch, the Butterfly inside WARE, who is especially important as he'll destroy the universe in a week. If that happens, the cascading chaotic reactions will swiftly annihilate the rest of existence, in a presumably ultra-painful death kind of manner. The other two aren't nearly as immediately threatening but I don't project either of them holding out much longer... But, I think I have the proverbial and literal key to this whole mess right in my hands for them. As for WARE, well... The Sphere's impenetrable, traditionally, thanks to four runes that the Highchair set up to keep plebians like us out. One of them is here, most likely in Omorika's office if I may be frank, as its the room furthest in the back, which itself is where we managed to detect it; one of them is in the Eternal Gardens, roughly dead-center; the third could be in the Skylabs, which is the only reason I can think of as to why Xavier was last seen there; and the fourth is a big question mark. If you have any hot leads for any of the remainders, I'd love to know..."

"Finally, uh. Hrm. Two, three... Four questions, and they're big ones. First: Do you know of an Eliti known as Lucid? Second, do you know where such an Eliti may be found, right now? Third, unrelated to the first two: What do you know of the Rose Cult command? Like, you don't need to know the names-the general command structure will do as far as you know it. Finally: is there any particular... 'Devil' figure for the Rose Cult? Any antithesis to their god, an 'unholy abomination,' some kind of hideous enemy that everyone is instructed to obliterate with extreme prejudice? A spider of absolute order, an azure dragon as large as a universe, a being who shouldn't exist, a magical girl perpetually high on drugs-do you have anything of that sort in there? I intend to invoke their imagery and iconography to the best of my extent."

"Honestly, I'm, uh. Really, REALLY sorry that I've dragged you into this. I've tried to make this feel like it was your choice, but it's clearly not, and I'm dumping a lot of important stuff on you and asking you a lot of questions, and I know it's kind of overwhelming. But, uh. We really need your help, believe it or not, and I'll do all in my power to ensure that you won't be killed, no matter what happens or how bad it gets. Trust me when I say this-it won't matter if the Rose Cult comes after you, or anything else, you're under my care, and my care says that anything that tries to assassinate you is good as dead."

((THE HANDY LIST OF THINGS VENIA JUST EXPOSITED TO BASS ABOUT:
-The Chaos Butterfly's origins and its infection of the Sleuth
-Xavier making more Sleuth instances, Irecreeper included
-irecreeper's debacle with the Operator and the creation of Chaos
-basically the events of DTG: Chaos
-Xavier and Nia's debacle
-the Four Runes and their locations to the best of Venia's knowledge
-two/three/four questions: Does Bass know of Lucid? Does Bass have any idea where Lucid might be? What is the Rose Cult's general command structure like? Are there any 'great enemies' of the Rose in the Rose Cult?
-Venia promising that whatever tries to kill Bass is dead as hell.

After that is taken care of, Venia does some build rearrangements. First, she exchanges the Cardboard Amulet for her own Plushie. "...This seems... Narcissistic, somehow, but... Uhh, it seems to resonate with me? I mean. On a power level. Not on any other level. Eheheh. Thanks, Marron. This is very, uh, very appreciated."

Venia then puts her two new skillpoints into SPC to make up for the SPC defecit she just made. She also switches a point in AGI for a point in STR so she has a clean 10 STR. To cap it off, she then switches out the unused Decaying Light spell for the more practical Skeletal Toss. Pretty quick. This, of course, has no bearing upon the current battle in the Hall of Sages... (OH-and Venia's magical resistance on the Whispering Gauntlet? Let's set that to Fire. Having it remain 'magical (10%)' bothers me.)

Finally, Venia buys the three Essences from the Cipher Shop-the Heart, Blade and Star essences, and gives them to Taeda. "You did great out there. It was really brave of you to fight like that... Uh, here. Some stuff. Essences-to help you, ah, get stronger. Like that... Stuff, from before. It'll help with your magic and your, uh, constituion, all around, I'd say."

----HALL OF SAGES----

Venia performs a restrained blow upon Droplet, followed up by her hat's attack. She then steps a space south to J8.

"... Well, goodbye, loveless freak."

She smirks at Droplet's near-inevitable destruction by The Eternal Author's inky death laser as it passes.

[Omoquest]

/wip

[Hall of Sages]

Auth moves to M7, and then performs his action last in the turn.

Auth aims an Overwrite left, to go through Droplet and the Cover in the way, and then up at D7, to hit Daikon. Presumably, that should deal enough damage to down both of them at once. If the beam hits. Hopefully.

Zone 1: Crater

I place a Hatch (barricade made out of Uniform logs, we have plenty of those) on top of the crater! That should keep the wild animals like the Seekers out!

Hall of Sages

Daskter, stand stills, aims and fires upon Daikon.

The Rebel Rifler confused attempts to shoot Daikon by moving to G11.

Flamer moves to E7 and burns North-West. after Simeon moves of course.

Character Stuff
I ask the Temmie Shop to do a service for me. I would like to clone a Revised Scroll of Focus(T3)

Airship
Using some of the Repair drones, I use up 10 Refined Wood into the construction of the Airship.
I use 5 Iron Ingots to simply reinforce the Iron Skeleton, making it a bit more sturdier and expanding it a bit more.

Zone 2: Grand Hall Route, the Main Pillar.
I have been told it would be a darn shame if this fell apart. (Pillar at AQ 31)

I prop a Iron bar inside the Hole, acting has reinforcement then Using Cobblestone I melt it down then pour it into the hole in the pillar, I rapidly cool the melted rocks back into solid.

There easy fix! (Using an iron ingots, and a bunch of cobblestone to fill the hole)

Simeon takes a small step backwards to F8, and attacks Daikon.

With the Dance fight done, Simeon heads south for some refreshments at the concession.

At some other point in time that isn't now, he approaches Chloe.
"Um, hey, you're offering to find stuff, right? I was wondering, could you help me find some clay? Thanks."

Comet puts two points into AGI and buys a sticky note. She replaces the solar array with it, and sets the resistance to electric. She puts teleporter on the sticky note and learns hailstorm normally.

[color=#1a0a66]Hall of Sages Battle:

Brutishace continues to stand his ground and ducks behind the broken Harvester.

Daikon is on his last legs, now time to dogpile him like a chainstunned Oryx!

Brutishace contributes to the damage needed to finish him off by firing at Daikon with his Slayer Pistol. However, he restrains himself by targeting a less-vital area with his shot.

He continues to hold his position, since the fight should be over soon anyhow. Brutishace looks over to Auth, who prepared to strike the killing blow...

Turntables Battle:

The battle has been completed! The Simulacrum's duty is not complete yet, however.

It purchases a Sticky Note from YV's Triangle Emporium. It can't be equipped yet, however- its master is still in battle, even if just for a brief moment.

Brutishace's Simulacrum's duty is complete, having purchased the Sticky Note. It vanishes into smoke, to return again if its master requires it.

Miki buys a Shadowflame Veil and extracts the MP and INT boosts off it. She puts them on the Summoner's Wristband using paper and thyme glue, then adorns it with several gears made of copper (-1 Copper Gear), silver (-1 Silver Ingot), gold (-1 Gold Ingot), and iron (-1 Iron Ingot), attaching them with wooden dowels (-1 Greatwood Log). She also sticks a Fresh Manabloom to it.

Resources Used: Shadowflame Veil (bought), Summoner's Wristband, Paper Sheet, Thymium Glue, Copper Gear, Silver Ingot, Gold Ingot, Greatwood Log, Iron Ingot (all materials if not in inventory, bought)

Result: Summoner's Gear Band
+4 MP, +1 MP Regen, Summoner's Intellect II (giving Intellect3 or 4)

Terry prepares for a bit of a craft.

Semiquartet Sabers

INPUT:
- 1 Rainbow Party Foci
- 1 Skyroot Log
- 2 Titanium Ingots
- 1 Spider Silk Spool
- 1 Thymium Glue

PROCESS:
Terry examines a Rainbow Party Focus. He stares at it, and accidentally pulls the trigger, blowing a hole in the dance floor. He then holds it steady, then keeps the trigger pulled. The hole gets deeper.

"This is where the fun begins."

He dissipates into flames, then reappears at the sword kitchen Workstation Prime.

First, he disassembles a full set of Rainbow Party Foci, taking only two laser-y parts for his own use. The circuitry stuff kinda looks like a grip already. Now all that's left is an actual one.

Next, he cuts two pieces off a Skyroot log. They look like half a sword grip.

He then gets a mold of the rest of the grip(s) from the trash, then melts and pours some Titanium into them.

Then, he glues them together into two grips. With thymium glue. Around the circuitry of the Foci's lasers.

He cuts a Spider Silk Spool in half, then ties them into those things that keep the grip things from flying out of your hand/s.
----
(T3) Semiquartet Sabers - You're even dual-wielding them! How could this not be flashy!
(8-8) Light, Range 1-2, 2 Retreat, 3 Counter, 4 Hit
STATS: +2 SKI, +1 AGI, -2 DEF
WEAPON SKILL: Cutstep. Perform a string of actions, based on the map's current rhythm. If there is no rhythm, create a three-part rhythm. Gains +1 Upper Attack Damage per 4 SKI
ATTACK: Perform this weapon's basic attack, for 40% power, but hits twice. If both hits connect, gain Direct Hit for two rounds.

MOBILIZE: Move yourself 2 tiles, with Skirmisher.

STATUS: Apply Focused2 to yourself for two rounds. Stacks if triggered multiple times in a round, to a maximum of Focused5.

UNIQUE: Apply Evasive2 to yourself for this round. Dodging an attack this round will instantly cause you to perform a basic counter, if they are in your basic attack range.

SPECIAL COUNTER: Midair Slice
Range: Any
This is rolled before the enemy hits you. If your counter roll succeeds, reduce the attack's damage by 33%, and perform a basic counter if the enemy is within your basic attack range. The damage reduction effect can only trigger once a round.

Terry respecs. Refer to the tab "Arc 2.5 Update" for the respec sheet.

With the battle at the turntables done with for now, Calibri glances around the area for a second, then shrugs and yawns quietly. He seems about to fall asleep, and actually does manage to close his eyes, but is promptly shaken awake by the sudden appearance of a really shiny albino medic guy.

"Now is not the time to be falling asleep, not-bro! Did you forget Lucid is still present somewhere in this library?"
"...oh. I guess. I'll move."

Cal shrugs, then promptly vanishes in a flicker of black. Verdana just sort of stares at the place where Calibri was earlier, then flops onto the floor like a limp ragdoll before getting back on his feet and taking a look around. If there's nobody else around, he sort of just huffs in disappointment and wanders off. If someone is still around, he wanders over and flops over to take a seat near them. If there is someone and they're injured, he also takes the time to spamcast a healing spell on them.

"The house is boring. Boring like one of those granite statues of naked people that art people on earth like to fawn over for some reason that I still don't understand. I don't want to go back to the house yet."

Meanwhile, EN smiles at Bass. Once Venia's done chatting with the fellow, and he's ready to go, she takes a look around, then...

"A'ight, ya mentioned wantin' t' go now. An' let's be honest 'ere, ya do seem like ya coul' do wit' a bit o' time t' relax. So... Y'know. Ya okay to walk, or ya need a lift?"

In event of "Bass = okay to walk", EN acknowledges and leads the way back to zone 0, the house. In event of "Bass = need a lift", EN promptly picks him up and hoists him up so he can have a ride on her shoulders, then walks back to the house with pretty much no sign that she's all that weighed down.

Irongutta sits for a moment, taking a couple of deep breaths. "Ugh, my ears are still ringin' an' I dunno if it's from the clown music or that thunderclap ya did Toast. Knew I shoulda put some teef on ya winnin' that bet o' yours."

Getting up off the floor, he decides to follow Toast (and whoever else) back to the house for now. "Just gonna follow you lot back to, er, make sure ya don't muck fer too long. Won't let ya slack on my watch!"

Along the way, he puts his two skillpoints into SPC.

<ROUND SEVENTY-TWO>

<PATCH>
Patch notes out now! Included are a new spell, other spell balance changes, changes to the Slip Mechanic, and a quick edit to the Harmonizer enemy! Take a look now!

<BACK TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED UPDATE>
I'll start the update proper with... all the technical stuff. Skill Points, Respecs, and Crafting. Since they all sorta mosh together, in a sense. (Shopping will be handled if the bought item is equipped.)

Skill Points, Respecs, and Crafts
Toast: +2 SPC. Sticky Note bought (-150 Credits) and equipped. Spells rotated.

Destiny: -1 RES, +3 SPC. Shadowwood Cloak crafted out of the Nightbark Cloak using 2 Greatwood Logs, a Darkmatter Cluster, 2 Titanium Ingots, and 1 Gold Ingot. Promptly equipped.

Boshi: +2 MMP, +10 INT, -4 AGI, -6 SKI. Trait rotated, and modified because Armorbreak is powerful and nobody in their right mind would use a Restoration Potion otherwise.. Equipment shifted. Hat Kid Plushie V2 created from 1 Skyscale, 1 Greatwood Log, 0.25 Magically Reinforced Gates, 1 Speaker System, 1 Fresh Manabloom, 1 Nice Coat, and 1 Spider Silk Spool. Equipped.

The Man: ERR: CURRENTLY IN COMBAT!

Venia: ERR: CURRENTLY IN COMBAT! However, 3 Essences bought (-600 Credits) and given to Taeda. Which is technically a respec for Taeda?

TAEDA: Oh, thank you Miss Venia!
TAEDA: It feels nice to get attention for once- attention that doesn't get me shot through buildings.

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: Awakening (+200 Credits)

Comet: +2 AGI, Sticky Note bought (-150 Credits) and equipped. Spells rotated.

Brutishace: Sticky Note bought. (-150 Credits) Not a respec or distribution, but felt like it belonged here. Sticky notes are now infinite in supply.

Miki-Chan: Summoner's Gear Band created with the Summoner's Wristband, a Shadowflame Veil (-150 Credits), 1 Paper, 1 Thyme Glue, 1 Copper Gear, 1 Silver Ingot (-20 CraftingCredits), 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Greatwood Log, and 1 Fresh Manabloom.

Terry: Complete respec. Semiquarter Sabers created with 1 Rainbow Party Foci, 1 Skyroot Log, 2 Titanium Ingots, 1 Spider Silk Spool, and 1 Thymium Glue (-15 CraftingCredits). You... really like T3 weapons, don't you? That's your third one.

Emerald: ERR: CURRENTLY IN COMBAT! However, Factory Fullplate bought. (-150 Credits)

Irongutta: +2 SPC.

Chloe: +1 MOV, -1 MMP, -2 RES.

Marron: +1 SPC, +2 STR. Needler Rifle equipped.

Ette: +3 MMP, +3 INT, -3 MHP. Spells rotated. Special requirements shifted.

Omorika: +1 INT, +2 RES. Special requirements shifted.

And now, for everything else!

Toast asks Marron if she wants to follow her to the house. She gently nods, and very slowly stumbles onto her two feet.

MARRON: Y-Yeah. I'd like that.
MARRON: Even with all the healing I got... it still feels like there's a billion bumps and bruises on my body...
MARRON: I'm... I'm gonna make some cookies, maybe take a nap...

Marron takes less than a dozen steps before Ette sweeps her off her feet, and places her upon her back, allowing her to cling onto her neck. Piggyback ride!

MARRON: S-Sis, aren't I... dunno, too old for this?
ETTE: (I mean, you seemed tired...)
ETTE: (Also, we'd be walking for awhile if I didn't lift you, hehe...)

Toast also asks Taeda if she wants to come along. She nods, wobbling as she stands up.

TAEDA: Mmm, yeah...
TAEDA: L-Let's... get going...
TAEDA: Thank you...~
TAEDA: ...Ette, could I get a lift too?
MARRON: No.
TAEDA: Aw...
TAEDA: ...I-I don't t-think I'll last t-the t-trip, thoug-

Taeda is sniped with a Null Somnum from across the map. She shivers and shudders as the energizing magic seeps through her body.

TAEDA: Oh. A-Actually, I think I'll be fine for the trip.
TAEDA: Thanks, Miss Omorika!
OMORIKA: ...
TAEDA: ...Miss Omo? Y-You alrigh-
OMORIKA: I... I smell rot.
OMORIKA: I wasn't able to smell it before, over the general sensory overload earlier.
OMORIKA: But it smells like something's decaying back there.
OMORIKA: That... That shouldn't occur t-that...
OMORIKA: ...
OMORIKA: You may- no, should leave, Miss Taeda. Something's afoot.

TAEDA: ...U-Understood!

Taeda walks alongside Toast, Marron, and Ette as they head for the house. Once there, the group splits up, Marron immediately diving into the couch, Taeda heading upstairs, and Ette quickly running off to the kitchen. She then asks Marron to make her an invisible hat upgrade.

MARRON: Invisible... hat?
MARRON: I have... I have no idea how to deal with that.
[small][small]MARRON: Y-You've been wearing a hat this whole time!?[/small][/small]
MARRON: I'll settle for the scarf, though. And I have this idea forming already, ooh...
MARRON: I'll get right on it! After I rest, though.

She takes the 60 Credits she was given, and lobs them to Chaos from across the room. Chaos catches them in his mouth, and they pop out of his hand, before landing in a pile on his shop stall.

JOE meanwhile, harvests the Soulblossoms, getting 38 net Soulblossoms and 34 Goneblossoms. He then opts to go and plant some Manabloom in one of the Soulblossom slots, expending 9 Seeds. JOE then creates a spike pit that can be... placed on it's side... to act as a spike wall? Uh, turning a PIT IN THE GROUND ninety degrees seems hard. Anyway, disregarding this minor impossibility, JOE sets up spike pits at (G43) and (G44), and Spike Walls at (H43) and (G42), using 3 Wood in the progress. The Seeker, slightly dumbfounded, jumps in one of the Spike Pits and shrieks as it gets skewered at the bottom of the pit. The Carrion, not being much smarter, joins it in death. The Shuria opts to be reasonable, and begins to try and find a flank.

Boshi meanwhile, heads home to the House. Hat Kid decides to be adventurous, and sequence-breaks her way to the Severed Overlook, using some Rope and an Iron Ingot. She successfully swings to her location, only to be met with an Iti. Hey, shouldn't be too hard to kill it. Venia then exposition-dumbs Bass, and also asks him a set of four questions.

BASS: ...That's...
BASS: I swear to <0> you didn't take a single breath when saying all of that.
BASS: ...That's... a lot to take in.
BASS: I've never learned so much yet retained so little.
BASS: But questions. You have them!

BASS: Okay, first one: no.
BASS: Second one; Probably upstairs. We heard a lot of movement during the party. Well, I say 'heard', but most people were too absorbed in anything to hear it.
BASS: It's probably Iti.
BASS: Third; command is mostly a gorillashoot. We mostly consist of just random individuals, with the amount of respect you have being based on how many gifts <0> has given to you.
BASS: Marks. Scars. Pulsing masses of oak. Wings. Things like that. The craziest people tend to be the highest up. I have... basically nothing. Save for a messed-up face.
BASS: Had to be the face. Can you replace faces? That'd be neat.

BASS: Uh, fourth; no. No antithesis.
BASS: But... we do talk about a greater being that <0> wishes to become.
BASS: I think... I think it was our job to ensure that this being is created.
BASS: We called it... hold on... it was...
BASS: ...Trinity.
[small][small]BASS: ...Did my text go screwy?[/small][/small]
BASS: Hell if I know why we wanted to make this maniac more crazy than he already is.
BASS: I'd tell you more if I could... but my mind's pretty screwy.

BASS: ...Also, it's... honestly not okay that you've dragged me into this, but I need to stick it out, don't I?
BASS: Besides, it's probably for the best that we stick together.
BASS: Our group has this... unhealthy fascination with all of the outsiders.
BASS: We've been crazy about this incredibly hot chick with blue hair and crazy eyes.
BASS: We called her our queen or something like that. I don't even know why. But the elders., upon seeing her, seemed to love her.
BASS: ...Geez.
BASS: Just keep me alive, alright? That'd be... awesome.
BASS: And I'd bet on it that you're more than capable.

Back in the Crater of Zone 1, Daskter expends 3 Uniform Logs to create a hatch over the Crater. He also asks Chaos to clone a Revised Scroll of Focus, but he looks directly into Daskter's eyes, and learns that the party doesn't have enough Credits! A shame. He then uses 10 Refined Wood and 5 Iron Ingots to generically work on the construction of the Airship, getting 15% of the Hull done. He then tosses 1 Iron Ingot in the hole, and then using Cobblestone, melts... it... down?

Yeah, Cobblestone isn't known for melting things down. The pillar remains in a shoddy state. In fact, he swears that it's going to collapse next round, and potentially bring down a decent amount of the roof with it. That'd be a moderate inconvenience. Simeon then heads down to check out the Concessions. The stench is almost lethal- just what does the Carnival cook with? How does it look so decent even though it's so obviously lethal? Why are there so many missing cupcakes!? Maybe he can answer those questions. He also asks Chloe to go out and find some Clay.

CHLOE: In a bit!
CHLOE: Auth's about to blast both Daikon and Droplet, and I don't really wanna miss that...

EN then asks if Bass wants to head to the house. He nods.

BASS: Yeah. Let's get outta here.
BASS: And...

He stares at EN.

BASS: I-I can walk. I can walk, even though y-you're wait no nevermind let's just go

The walk is somewhat quiet, save for the sounds of Iti screaming in the forests on the way to the House. Upon arrival, Bass seems confused.

BASS: Oh, huh. You're camping here?
BASS: I think this house belongs- or belonged to a member of the Highchair. We spy on them and stuff.
BASS: Can't recall which one, though. I know that Acacia sticks around the Gardens, but not much more than that.

He shrugs, and heads inside, promptly flopping into the carpet. Irongutta follows him in soon after, taking residence near the doorway. Long day, huh?

<OMOQUEST... NOPE>
Still no actions. Awaiting orders.

<HALL OF SAGES, ROUND NINE>
Daikon panics as The Author prepares to skewer both him and Droplet with a beam of ink. He quickly begins shouting things to Droplet.

DAIKON: D-Droplet!
DAIKON: F-From n-now on, you'll need to look out f-for yoursel-
DROPLET: N-No! DON'T SAY THAT!
DROPLET: Y-You can j-just...

DAIKON: I've told you. It's not that simple.
DAIKON: Droplet.
DAIKON: Let's fall in love again, alright? In another time.
DROPLET: N-No...
DROPLET: Y-You're g-going t-to survive, y-you're going t-to...

Then, the two of them are rather forcibly torn apart by application of ink beam to the torsos. Daikon seems to speak a few inaudible words as he's torn apart, his upper torso falling into the nearby Thyme Matter. Droplet meanwhile... seems to be completely gone. No trace. With their death, the Hall of Sages is now officially Safe. Your belongings have also officially been returned. With that, perhaps it's time to progress further into the library? Should be safe enough.

...

Chloe, done with watching Droplet get executed, comes back with a basket full of clay for Simeon. 64 Clay added to the inventory.

CHLOE: I didn't really know where to look, so I took a look around the rivers of the Chairian Outskirts... and I found some!
CHLOE: Took awhile to harvest it all- turns out digging underwater isn't as easy as Minecraft made it out to be? Who knew? Answer; I did. I knew. Rhetorical question.
CHLOE: Anyway... gotta go dry my clothes out. Except I don't have a fresh set to change into. Maybe somebody can do laundry? I dunno...
CHLOE: Have fun with your clay! Wait, fun? Eh, I guess it could be used for fun...
CHLOE: ...Yeah, have fun with it!

Stat allocations and other things like that done by players in battle will be done either later today, tomorrow, or next update. Who knows? Sorta burnt out right now, sorry.

-2 INT, -1 STR.
+2 DEF, +1 SKI, +1 HP.
Rainbow Shades Resists: Light (10%) Electric (10%) Air (10%) Earth (10%) Slashing (-20%)
Beanbagger's Backup Resists: Slashing (10%) Ice (20%) Fire (10%)
----
Terry walks all the way back to the House, takes an entire armor display from the basement, puts it in the Airship, then puts the Makeshift Odonata inside the armor display.

He then quickly shuffles into the Central Power Unit room, then takes the <0> book. He then exclaims to the impaled spider, "Omae wa mou shindeiru."

If it jumpscares him, he cuts it in half with his Semiquartet Sabers.

I take the spike plate/pit/wall/thing i crafted- the one that isn't terraform-based- and sneak it onto 43E, so the shuria will fall on by accident.
This is item use, so I also cast Illussory trap. the illussion is super, so it attracts the shuria to run towards it. said illussion is moved so the shuria can only attack it if it walks onto the spike pit or goes further.
I also cast a muffling effect so the shuria, if it screams, will not raise noise.

Also, coffee beans are harvested and replanted but not made available to people who want coffee. because coffee is bad. if someone has some form of ritual to remove all the toxins from coffee, then they can have the coffee beans....
...this is tested by poisoning the coffee beans with, uh, let's say anaesthetics?
wait practically nobody is human nevermind.
also, 3 rubies are planted in the left-middle of the crystiliary.

Zone 2: Grand Hall Route, the Main Pillar.
(Pillar at AQ 31)
I fill the hole with cobble stone, and strap some wooden rings made out of uniform logs on the pillar.

Character Stuff
I'm cloning a Revised Scroll of Focus (T3) now we have credits!
Equipping the Revised Scroll of Focus would open up a trinket slot.

Using the last charge of the Mari's Tie. Grabbing a bunch of crystal pens, and a lot of paper, I write a magical book. It's about a soldier's memory, and the casualties that were inflicted...

(T3) A Soldier's Journal (I'm not good with fluff) (Trinket)
Has 0/3 Charge, gain a charge for every user's summon dies.
It give Summoners Intellect X+2, in which X is the charge,
(Unique)

If I fail, I ask Marron to create it.
