Tazz, in regards to Nyarly claiming to be older than the Narrative and Conflict; are you implying that it/s/he wouldn't lie just to make them/him/herself look good? Nyarly is a lying liar who lies. For the Outer Gods lore (by the man HP Lovecraft himself) they are sorta like YHVH, they always have just been.
JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW: After my recent large attack, I'm so exhausted I have to go one a one-week vacation to Florida, and won't be able to post until my return.. See you all when I get back!
And, if the 1st five books of the Bible were written by God, the parallels get even closer, as both Outer Gods and capital g God are therefore liars, hypocrites, and generally petulant children who overreact to strange things while ignoring many other things that should bother them.
The Outer Gods don't really think/react/doanything consciously ever, Nyarly is pretty much the only one who ever really has a mind to think with. And even then Nyarly is their manifestation of their minds and souls combined. Also I really don't know about any of those thing being appicable to the Outer/Other Gods except for maybe liar and childish. (I find Nyarly is more petty than childish.) The Outer Gods just ignore reality because it isn't really their concern.

While I guess I'm flattered that you've given Balloonsera, Balloonian, Justicar, Miraj, and Fordwing S, S, A+, SS, and SS ranks respectively, I feel those high ranks are given out with far too low of standards. I don't think any of those guys listed are that good (but I am proud of Balloonian). The only entities I've ever made that I think are that good and actually deserve SS for their mechanics are my two favorite entities I've ever summoned. No prizes for guessing them, but they're DTG2 Wilson and DTG1 The Blank Book. I liked Wilson because he had so much going for him that all worked together, while most of my other entities are based on one gimmick. And I liked the Blank Book because it had so little going for it, yet still worked in an incredibly elegant way that I honestly don't think I can replicate.
Also, on the issue of originality for these guys, Balloonsera and Balloonian are kinda obviously based off of Ysera and Neferian, specifically the versions from Hearthstone. Cuarc and Leictreon are also kinda obviously based off subatomic particles, so much so that their names literally translate to Quark and Electron in Irish I believe. Justicar was a modified idea I had for a Pokemon legendary a loooonnnngg time ago. Miraj was based off an Arabic myth (edit- Uh... the link should go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-mi'raj) and the whole Killer Rabbit thing from Montey Python. And finally, Fordwing was based off my own shiny Lucario I have in the Pokemon games and named after Tirion Fordwing from WOW lore.

You know... I have an idea...
I could probably remake (or rather, remake a copy of) the HG simulator into a text based, PVP/PVE adventure game. Of course, based on my source material, it would probably be a game more about risk management and not getting screwed by RNG than anything else.
Like, you pick a character to control, and then go about dealing with events. Maybe you have some influence over what types of events you trigger. If it's a standard event (the ones w/o checks), then whatever. Your stats go up/down. If you encounter an event that does have checks, you're given the odds (like, you have 40 strength, the check requires 60, so you have a 50% chance of success) and the choice to either use some limited items in your inventory or sacrifice other stats in order to gain a temporary boost to a stat. For example, let's say you encounter a fatal event that needs a 60 INT score to survive. You have 30 INT, and because the game rolls a d40 as the luck factor, you have about a 25% of survival. If you don't like those odds, maybe you have an item that provides +10 to all stats for one check, but it only can be used once. Or maybe you do something weird like force your entities to help think for you, which gives you a permanent -10 to your ENT score, but gives +15 INT on this check. Or even better, you suddenly burst into a training montage which tires you out, but helps you think clearly. -10 STR, +15 INT.
(And to prevent people from all dying in the blood bath, I'd want to give every player character one bottle of liquid plot armor, which can be used on any check to give +100 to all stats, but will dissolve if you try to keep it past day 5 or so.)
I feel like I could do something like that. Although, I'm not sure what I'd do for combat because if you had the choice of what stat to use, you'd obviously pick your highest stat each and every time. And that's no fun.
I'd also probably want to increase the luck factor for players from a d40 to like a d80. You know, means players at least have a CHANCE of surviving the first few days. And/or I'd want to decrease the punishment for failing a fatal event from, well, death to something like -75 HP and buff up player HP.
So... What do people think of this? It will mean I'd be spending my free time at school working on that instead of the normal HG sim. And there needs to be some multiplayer function, but I'm not sure how to implement that, especially with PVP combat.
Intriguesting. I want to know where this might lead...
I'm not 100% sure that's a word, but thanks for your vote of conf- ... interest. I also realized now that I have to dig up the files because I once used a tablet thing for all my coding, but now I have a proper laptop. ... I think .java files are on a flash drive somewhere. ... I hope the .java files are on a flash drive somewhere.
Also, talist, I like that idea you have, PvE sounds more interesting than PvP anyways.
YOU'RE BACK EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER REALLY LEFT! ... Do you want me to try and summarize TvT2?
The main idea problem I have with the playable HG sim is what to do with combat. I don't know how to run that... Maybe you get a chance of using the skill you choose each roll, but that chance goes down each time you use it? Or maybe each stat can have a "special" attack that you can use at the cost of that stat? That would turn the entire game into balancing the "too awesome to use" syndrome with actual long term needs.
Like... If you pay 15 DEX, you have a DEX stat chance to dodge your enemy's next attack.
Or maybe instead of actual PVP, there can be a more passive thing where other people can mess with the odds of encountering certain events.
The Descendants got to 4500 blocks away from Yggdrasil, but then were greeted by a super boss. With the title of Gatekeeper, Charles Barkley came down to welcome us to the Jam. After wiping the field, he was eventually defeated. Then Uzi made all players vulnerable. Then, after a Gamma+ rank was summoned, it killed itself before Richard could rank up, but restored player invulnerability. Uzi's actual name was revealed to be Hera at some point during the following section. Then came the second gatekeeper, Twitchy the Hivemind Incarnate. It, along with a complimentary boss known as the Chief, was able to deal out some instakills, but otherwise acted as a damage sponge. During this time, another Gamma+ rank godmodder appeared: sans of Undertale. He's been wrecking people since he arrived. Then we defeated the second gatekeeper, and Uzi decided to trump her last feat of making all players vulnerable. How? By stealing a Dragon Charge from Richard, activating a plunger detonator, blowing up the Earth, and blaming it on Richard.
Obviously, blowing up the Earth, as in the actual Earth in the DTGverse, killed basically every non-godmodder who lived there, including Descendants. However, due to a phenomenon known as the Avatar Effect, anyone who really enjoyed a game where they could immerse themselves into the character, such as MMORPGs, Dark Souls, and of course Minecraft became a character in that game instead of dying permanently.
What happens to the billions of people whose favorite games were not immersive, or didn't play games in the first place? They're just flat-out dead right now.
Currently, my phone is getting data about the actual events, and I'm leading a charge to repair the earth, with help from a number of people from all sides.
There are two bosses on the field, a GS (basically, people who actively hate both sides, so think of them as more aggressive and aggravating neutrals), and an AZ.
Also, Omega/Photoshop Flowey is being summoned by 6 people.
Did I miss anything major?
Huh, I'd forgotten how much trouble tazz's been having with updates, I would've thought more events would transpire in my absence.
Just so everyone knows, I won't be rejoining DTG0, I have no reason to, and there ARE other things I need to do...
When I finally feel well enough to do them that is.
But once I get all the way caught up on terraria (almost done with that actually) and tvtropes 2, I'll catch up on DTG0, and even though I won't be posting, once I get caught up...
Hello there. I am Revan, one of those people who you don't know. Hopefully we will get along.
And I'm Nyarlathotep, please don't mind me. I'm more an RP character. Heh... And now may I welcome you back to the Madhouse.

May it rest in pieces.
Sidenote: Is Uzi afraid of Clowns?
If so that is glorious and I suggest we summon Sweet Tooth driven by Needles Kane or John Wayne Gacy.
All hail the mighty plot tumor!

And i missed the chance to suggest an entity for that game. Oh well.
Certainly going to be playing it, at any rate.

. And you know what the best part of all this is? You'll DO it. And then you'll lose to me again. And again. And again!!! Because you want a "happy ending." Because you "love your friends." Because you "never give up." Isn't that delicious? Your "determination." The power that let you get this far... It's gonna be your downfall!

@Pricey I'm actually stupid. Mb.
Anyway, Sea Dog could be added as an F entity, not quite worth the Potato rank.
But eh.
Wow, interesting.
