Why did you decide to accept the idea for the Vord? I handed that out to you almost as soon as Act 2 began, right when I started the vord charge, and I was still a real noob back then, so why did you decide to take the idea and roll with it? Thanks for doing that by the way, had you not done so, I probably wouldn't have gotten as into the game as I did.

Engie, did you have any of you're character's self planned out (besides the Mainframe of course) before I rolled with the universe eaters thing as part of the multiverse plot as I was cooking up, and if so, how much?

@Piono: Funny you should ask. I merely decided to use attack types that would either look cool, or completely baffle everyone, and that was about it. Everything else, ranging from the assistants, to the company, even the Mainframe, appeared as I progressed along, trying to find more ways to leave people awestruck/confused.

Almost NONE of the plot was planned out from the start. All I had was the basic premise (GodCraft, the Mechs, rescuing players) and the final battle planned out. But even now, the final battle is DRASTICALLY different from what I had planned all the way back then. I knew that the crux of the game would be player input and that the plot would evolve based on that.

I obviously took heavy inspiration from Homestuck (I wasn't even planning on an Act structure, that happened when the thread went into Intermission 1), and several important items are drawn directly from FEZ. I have to say, the moment I started to realize that there would be a plot was around Zero Hour, as shortly after that was where I started getting the idea that Homestuck would play a big part in things.

So no, really nothing was planned from the start. The TIE-Hivemind happened as a direct result of the Uber/TIE war that I decided to guide to its logical conclusion, and I thought of the Witching Hour/minigame events when I realized TF2 did seasonal events. Zero Hour/all of Act 2 was thought of because of the already rampant Homestuck referencing. (Though looking back, that got way out of hand.) Developing myself as a First Guardian was thought of on the spot, and Build/Split was a result of me changing my text to red when I took damage/got angry.

Scratch's Manor was thought of while the Shatter was going on! I had originally planned for just a boss fight between Scratch when he commandeered the Narrative, but I decided to develop it into something more. All of Robomonkey's plot was thought of on the spot (I had wanted to explore individual fations but didn't exactly know how), and the entire plot of Act 3 was thought of during Scratch's Manor. Yes, you heard me right. The entire idea of "the government does something about the Godmodder" was thought of during its TV broadcasts; remember those? The only concrete ideas I had planned for A3 before then were the Black Monolith and the omnipresent Glitch.

And I didn't even plan for Project Binary or the Arrival, either! Almost all of Project Binary's conversations were thought of on the spot, but once I had developed the Arrival plot it all steamrolled from there. So yeah... A lot of this was either just thought of on the spot or evolved from player interaction. The one large plot point I thought of beforehand and DIDN'T execute immediately was the Employer. I've had him planned since the middle of Act 2, and I know exactly who he is.

And none of you do.

Assuming this is you indirectly talking about me axing your frequent plans to interact with Earth and loophole HEX into it, I'll make this brief: there is a fine line between intelligent godmodding and blindly power-playing everything in your path, and you've crossed it. Notice how none of the other players are doing what you're doing. No one is trying to blatantly loophole characters that existed in another universe and have no business being here into the plot, and only engie and Amperz4nd interacted on Earth and that was after you did it. I made it clear that you couldn't interact on Earth SEVERAL TIMES and you kept doing it!

This is a perfect time to get working on a Dragon Decoyra. And maybe somehow bring back Dave again.

I decided to accept the idea because I thought it would make for a nice call back/brick joke, I liked the idea of player-made events, and I also didn't really know what the endgame challenges would be, so I thought it would be nice to have one already planned.

That's not how the Trial WORKS. It's intended to be fought head-on, you're not supposed to cheat your way around it.

I'm not deleting your "pesterlogs" on purpose. It's the editor's fault. Even so, your logs aren't even REAL pesterlogs. They're supposed to be in Courier New, and you didn't really follow the A/C/G/T/U guidelines I had set out.
