Well, Eric's conducting an evacuation with the tricked-out TARDIS that he now has. Anyone that wants to jump in on the evacuation can.

Additionally, spoilers, Eric's going to discover that a large portion of people are capable of using rune magic, but don't spontaneously start using it, in order to use rune magic, it needs to be awakened by another rune user, and awakening is quite difficult, and I currently control the only two rune users in existence. Wait a little bit, you guys will get a chance. And rune magic will be explained a bit more thoroughly when that time comes.

There we go, that ought to give you meatheads a reason to not go after my troops.

OK, as I've been advertising on Pesterchum, I'm in the process of making a DTG-PTU session. PTU, or Pokemon Tabletop United, is basically Pokemon D&D. Yes, this is somewhat based on the DTG-D&D idea, but I chose PTU because Pokemon can represent the Entities to a degree, and direct combat as a Trainer exists as well (and if you go into the few splatbooks, with great variety at that). Oh, and the hilarity factor of being able to capture and use such things as Binary. I'm using players for Gym Leader/E4/Evil Team Admin roles; the Godmodder is obviously the Champion and Big Bad of the evil team, needless to say (though there are other plots), referencing the big events in DTG, and other stuff of note.

The game is still being created-I need to figure out some statting/opening encounters, as well as wait for college to calm down so I can have a life again, and what I've got is very much a preliminary mashup of ideas, and I'm not going to put it here for sake of keeping this post reasonably-sized. If you have any questions whatsoever, including "is this going to actually happen?", ask away.

So Tazz, is this thing going to be a non-canon spin-off, like fseftr's? (after the argument over canonicity, I think on that one the state that I think it's in, given some f the backstory tidbits, is that it isn't canonical, but is still relevant to the franchise, similarly to Problem Sleuth's relation to Homestuck)

Loyalty and competence generally don't meet often, so when one gets a worker who has both of those qualities, one tends to become a little attached to said worker.

And engie... you sort of just threw those guys around. It feels like engie had an epiphany somewhere along the line, and everyone missed it because it happened off-screen.

When enemies kill your dudes, it's not so bad because you're already in a position to seriously mess them up. When your own allies, the people who you're putting your trust in, kill your dudes, well... It doesn't look good on one's resume if they start teamkilling.

All things considered, I think you ought to be part of the Dev team for this, though I am GMing. The other two real big ones are TwinBuilder and Fseftr. I'll send you all a group PM.

I'm not even sure it's relevant even if it were canon, but ultimately the answer is no. For one, the Godmodder's power here is defined by him being the Symbiote of a Mewtwo, basically making him a Mewtwo and giving him tons of power. The Champion spot was basically given to him without a fight-no fight was needed. HE also took a large swath of the economy and founded Godmodding Inc...Which is a very loose front for Team Godmod, a terrifying criminal organization hell-bent on world domination. The only reason he has a single Region as opposed to the whole world in his grasp is simply because other people also have other Mewtwos, who are basically the new nuclear bomb (for a variety of reasons, including the fact that Mewtwo damage can be reapired), though he's still got enough power that, if given just a bit more time, he'd be able to do world conquest for sure. Possibly worse. Oh, and everyone's aware of their DTG roles and how they've changed, including the Godmodder, with absolutely no (figurative) 4th wall at all in regards to that much. Does this sound even remotely like it would work in-canon? (To be fair, some twisting and it might, but it's ultimately so irrelevant it wouldn't matter either way, and I don't intend it to).

I was just asking tazz. But yeah, who knows. Maybe one day it'l become relevant, but I've got enough screwiness going on that I don't need to waste time annoying people by trying to work in unrelated spin-offs. I might drop in if my schedule loosens up though.

For whatever reason, the main thread is getting very, very glitchy for me, what with editor issues, lag, refusing to load at random, the post reply button deciding not to work until I delete and copypasta my entire post, reload the page, fix the formatting again, then rinse-and-repeat until it actually works. TL;DR, my post rate's going down even further as a result. That and Real Life's getting especially interesting just now.
