But no, the Scratch laugh is annoying to read.
Like, seriously. The only laugh that has ever managed to annoy me by READING it.
But okay, yeah. Eric's plot line is probably(hopefully) going to become pretty big and impressive.
I sort of think of DTG as more of a cooperative writing project, and most of the other plotlines look really cool, and I sorta want to be involved in a good number of them.

I dunno about the laugh. I think it kind-of-but-not-really(?) complements my personality. Crazy mage researcher inventor guy from another universe with an affinity for the forbidden. Well, that, and the fact that a rather large fraction of the session within my home was manipulated by our First Guardian, who happens to be Scratch.
Yes, I certainly agree on the collective writing project bit, but I think my sphere of influence should remain on the Battlefield, and on things specifically concerning or affecting me, thus opening a rather large realm of possibility.

I can cut down on the time it takes to charge stuff, right? I kind of want to use the Charges I have as one-shots at this point. I don't want to have my better attack ideas be nerfed because they're charges.
They'll be nerfed regardless. Twin's probably going to stop entities after the MBOA, and there's really no point in fighting after that? Unless I read something wrong.
I don't know. It may be that this is all temporary (or at least some of it is) and this is going to pave the way to Act 4 in grand, triumphant fashion where gameplay resumes at normal, or somewhat altered. Or this is permanent and we're going back to the original thread's style of combat.
SOMETHING is going to happen afterwards, that's for sure. Remember those plotters?
>>I certainly hope they do not get destroyed.

[Client thread/INFO] [TConstruct]: Natura, what are we going to do tomorrow night?
[Client thread/INFO] [Natura]: TConstruct, we're going to take over the world!
[Client thread/INFO] [inpure|core]: Beating Minecraft's resource loading system with a shovel. Please stand by...
[Client thread/INFO] [MagicBees]: Replacing stupid-block with 'Here, have some delicious textures' ItemBlock. This is 100% normal.
Anyway, if you're planning massive one-shot attacks, you might as well drop your charges and post them, you'll probably deal more damage that way without using charges.
And no, Act 4 things will not resumes as normal.
I can tell you right now that regular entity summoning has become pointless at this point in the game, so don't plan on doing anything like that until game 3.
It'll work. What I puzzled out that twin had planned quite some time ago (Although he's never outright stated that he's going to do it, so who knows?) is that he's going to do something similar to what TT2000 did when the godmodder hit 10 hit points, which is start a string of rapid-fire events that finish up the godmodder's health. Unlike TT2000, these events are going to be disruptive enough to regular gameplay that entity summoning (if even possible) will no longer be a feasible way to exercise control over the battlefield.
It won't be nearly as bad as Scratch;s Mansion, because he won't be abusing the trope 'The GM Is A Cheating ********' as thoroughly, because he most likely won't have to do so to keep us from obliterating absolutely everything in a handful of rounds. Everything's going to be scaled to where we are, instead of scaling us to everything else.
At least, that's what I've gathered. Whatever twin has planned, I'm sure it'll be fun.
@granger: Yeah... sorta sucks. You could incorporate it into your army though, or you could do what fseftr did and instead of having an army in the same style as everyone else have a few entities that equate to the same amount of fire power.
Also. This is the image that I used to design the button. Its a bit cluttered, and I decided to only use artwork by twin, so I don't have everything, but meh, whatever. Also, photoshop sucks.
The real world does in fact need a plot and a plotting resolution.

@fseftr: Yeah... I'm aware of that. I didn't have any other good background though, and I needed to stretch it. I couldn't find the original full size image, so I had to use the one off the wiki. You don't notice when looking at the actual button though, since the button is about 2.25 to 2.5 inches in diameter. (it folds back, if you want to see the real life scale, move the image down to 2.75 x 2.75 inches) On the other hand, once you zoom out to the proper distance, B1nary becomes rather indistinct, so yeah. I tried to be interesting, but it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped. Oh well, I only spent like an hour on it, and most of that was wrangling with Photoshop's counterintuitive controls
@net: Not really, it was a project for electronic media class, we were supposed to design buttons, so I decided to do something I'm actually interested in. I've got a physical one, I suppose I could take a picture of it and try to upload it to drive with my phone... But I'm not sure how I'd get the button to you. If you have an idea how and were willing to send me your address, I suppose I could mail you one, but I'm not sure that that's really feasible.
I keep on searching for stuff from gimp and then remembering that photoshop doesn't have half the stuff gimp does.

Anyways, that button design is... all I'll say is that the background is very low resolution compared to the foreground.
Twin, might you add all artwork you've done to the art gallery? In spoilered sections preferably.
