I casually build an In The Groove 2 machine from scratch, then invite the Disembodied Hands for a go. Needless to say, this results in heavy damage. ...Oh, right. DTG. Need an explanation. Uh. Megalovania. Also Spider Dance. Due to how hard this is and the fact that the hand is much too big for the delicate dance machine, it completely fails at the challenges and commits suicide.

<Leonstar0> Hey... it's been a while...
<Leonstar0> Well... technically, I may not even be able to have "been".
<Leonstar0> ...
<Leonstar0> Time travel is confusing.
<Leonstar0> Well, in any case:
<Leonstar0> Hello.
I guess my first action will be to chop down a tree... whenever I find some trees, considering this biome does not appear tree-friendly. I focus this action (by only having one post/action) to result in the felling of a forest: wood logs logged, apples accounted and the land left sapling saturated.
Ah, I suppose I should begin charging my energy for later use:
I: 1/10 +1 base
II: 1/15 +1 base
III: 1/25 +1 base
And I mustn't forget that I can assist others, for now I'll help those who posted closest to my current position:

The Alchemiter is a wondrous machine, but without materials with which to manipulate, I cannot use it. There appears to be no stash of base items this time, nor list of known recipes or documentation of it's attachments. (Is there any? Well, I've skimmed though the first post and the last update and I couldn't find any information on it. Sorry if it's in plain sight and I'm just blind :/)
While I am logging I 'summon' a copy of the Server Log:
The archives of this world will be a handy tool with which I can use to learn of this world's past, to allow me an understanding of the present. The only problem is that they are rather large, and will take some time to read.
(In other words: is there a recap I can read? Or a "The Story" section, like DTG2 had? I mean, I will be reading the whole of this thread, but the basics of the current situation would be nice. I also need to finish reading DTG2, so THAT'S going to take a while.)
@Leonstar0 : Jeez, it HAS been a while. Welcome back! DTG2 finished, as should be somewhat obvious; I suggest reading through it if you haven't already. On the alchemiter: I don't have a base set of materials-use whatever you want. Currently, the Alchemiter's level cap is equivalent to DTG2. As for the plot thus far; not much, honestly. Mostly UserZero and Richard bickering amongst each other and UserZero's declaration to kill all of you. FINALBATTLESTARTSNOW's physical body was also captured by the (legitimately thus far) mysterious Umbral One. MUCH more recently, she's doing some more threatening, this time with a detonator. She's not saying what she's threatening to explode, and technically hasn't said she's going to explode anything, but it looks VERY much like she'll blow something up if people don't surrender (which is...Unlikely.) Perhaps most pressingly, there's the GS faction: Recently created by Crusher48, they basically hate both godmodders enough that they want to see them BOTH dead. And also, yeah, Hiatus. I'd take the opportunity to make a devastating second post, though.
@Everyone : Alright, status update: The Intermission/Hiatus is definitely going to end around January 8, but I really don't know what's coming next so when I can post thereafter is still up in the air, other than 'really close to that timeframe.'
Ah, part of the reason I'm having only one post is because I don't really have an idea of what I'll do next. So I thought, might as well start at the very basics.
@Ninjatwist
Thanks.
The artist, it is me.
I drew my character in GIMP, but I did the background and animation (and the nameplate/chat) in Photoshop.
Hello there. Since you asked, I'll tell you what I know so far.
First thing, you should look at the first post in this thread by Tazz for a summary of a lot of the details. But I'll try to explain the important bits here too.
Basically, this forum game is about Destroying the Godmodder. There are actually two godmodders, but the main enemy is UserZero, the one with much higher HP and power. Richard is the weaker of the two and needs to survive for the past DTG games to make sense. Godmodders are broken by nature, and can pull off ridiculously impossible moves, summon extremely strong minions, and generally cause a lot of trouble. They are the boss essentially. Getting rid of HP on a godmodder is very difficult and often requires extremely strong/creative attacks:for the most part, they are invulnerable, and you'll often be fighting their minions in order to progress the story.
Right now there are a few factions you can join with. The biggest one is AZ(Anti-Zero), which wants to defeat UserZero, the stronger of the two godmodders. Richard, the other godmodder, is on the AZ side. Richard being defeated would let UserZero win, while UserZero being defeated means the AZ side wins.PZ(Pro-Zero) is a faction supporting UserZero and fighting the AZ's. Another faction is GS(Godmodder Slayer), and for them the goal is defeating both godmodders. Generally, being on GS or especially PZ will probably be a lot harder than being AZ because other players will be gunning for you and your entitites. At the moment, players are invincible, and only their summons can be killed.
You do not have to join a faction right away, and that will put you in the Neutral faction. The final faction is by far the hardest, the Hostile faction. Where you are against absolutely everyone and just attack every other entity. Generally, it probably isn't a very fun one to play since it basically will never get anything done. You can also create your own faction, and this is how the GS faction was created.
One of the main story components is the tree at the center of this minecraft world called Yggdrasil. The goal of the AZ's is to get to it while UserZero and PZ's want to keep the AZ's away. Right now all progress is halted as everyone fights the gatekeeper boss, but when they are defeated, more distance can be covered in getting close to it.
You can use up to three charges in a post. These are increased in potential depending on their duration and can be up to 50 posts worth of charge. You can't store them after they finish. Generally, charges can have any kind of effect you can imagine, although it is possible for a charge to be deemed too OP for its number of posts and nerfed accordingly. One of the main effects that gets used a lot is summoning an entity. Which can be anything, but all entities have an HP bar and can act independently. Usually they have some kind of ability set. But you can also use charged attacks, or any kind of other effect you can think of(for example, a healing spell, aoe buff, debuff, area change, etc). The only restriction is that Godmodders cannot be healed by any means, not even the combined effects of multiple fifty post charges used simultaneously is enough.
There's also the Alchemiter, but I'm not really sure how exactly it works. You can have three alchemies going on at the same time, and alchemies gives you damage boosts. I'm just not sure how the actual leveling of the alchemies work, whether for example to get a level 10 alchemy you'd need four lvl 1s combined in pairs for two lvl 2s, combined for a lvl 3, resulting in a need for a huge amount of lvl 1s from the beginning to eventually get lvl 10 or if it works some other way.
It's generally possible to do basically whatever you want in your post, by just saying what happens. This isn't like an RP where there is a godmod limit, Tazz just decides the amount of damage and what effects are applied for the most part. There's no real requirement for anything to be written down on what your character can do, with creativity being the only limit along with if what you are doing is OP(like saying you will do 500'000 damage in an uncharged attack is obviously op and would be nerfed down a lot).
It's... It's YOU. Oh my god it's YOU. I don't care what anyone says, you are the undisputed king of animation in this forum game. Seriously. Yes, I have made some pretty cool animations in the end of DTG2 (which you should definitely read through!), but I've never really matched the fish-based fury you put out in Act 3. It's good to see you, Leonstar. It's good to see the King of the Holy Mackerel has returned.
(And if you're looking for more Photoshop image-based madness, you should definitely check out my new forum game, Pie Quest, if you haven't already! I know this probably qualifies as a shameless plug, but hey. I don't make forum games too often!)

The Colossus had quickly given up on his goal, after seeing the mighty Rugname airship destroyed in a single attack. If just the minions of his opponent could do that, he had no chance at taking out UserZero as he was. He needed to reprioritize. Turning back into the shadow he had formed from, the Colossus sunk into the earth, traveling underground to consume more stone there. He could still continue on his main goal of consuming every piece of stone in this world this way, instead of risking death against this uber-powerful opponent.
While he had permanently left the battle, never to be seen again, another fighter soon joined it. Unlike the Colossus, he didn't really have much of an entrance. George, the Enforcer of Justice just spawned in normally after instantly choosing his faction. He didn't have much in special items yet, except for his (almost always)invincible armor and his shield which bore an insignia of balancing scales at the center.
George could sense that two people on the battlefield had the power to dominate almost every other person there. They were Godmodders, the people he had come here to stop in the first place. He'd have to make a plan, likely with the others who felt the same to somehow attempt to damage them at all.
Spawning near the Vortex Monolith, George decided to protect it first, using the Obsidian Barricades to protect himself and increase his evasion chance, now being a GS aligned player, while casting a spell based on his justice abilities. It was a dome-shaped Karmic Barrier that protected the monolith, reflecting projectile attacks from enemies back at them while allowing anything from the inside to move outwards. Right now, it was green in color, along with the now-glowing insignia on his shield, and healed the Monolith gradually for as long as it remained. But, once it took damage, any at all, it would become blue, and only shield+reflect. At 50% health, it would turn red before finally vanishing at 0%. George's personal shield insignia would change colors with the barrier. George focused on barrier maintenance while also preparing some of his energy for different problems.
Speaking of those other GSes, he did need to help them out too. It would have to wait while he finished stabilizing the barrier so it did not require his maintenance.
Ehhhh, thank you. But I very much doubt that the end of DTG2 would not have surpassed those animations, after all, it was THE END OF DTG2. And you are a much, much better artist then me overall.
Yeah, my life got very hectic for a while there, and well, still kinda is. But it's nice to be back.
A forum game by you sounds like fun, I'll check it out for sure!

((When I'm writing in double parentheses it's out of topic))
As the Godmodder Conflict continues in a wast and unknown place ((Too lazy to check the last pages, can anyone tell me what's the biome and weather?)), a lightning storm starts striking at a nearby hill, causing a lava lake to appear. Out of the lake, a ring forged out of obsidian and redstone levitates towards the surface, spinning first slowly then as fast as a tornado. After some time, void acid starts leaking out of the redstone gems, creating a pool inside the ring. Suddenly, void snakes start going out of the ring, now transformed into a portal, and create a living staircase. Not long after the last snake came out, something else comes out of the ring. As the figure calmly comes down the stairs, the ring sucks itself into void and dissapears, along with the snakes. The figure puts down it's robe's hood and is now recognizable as a Dark Elf warlock.
Ehh, Nocturna, why didn't you tell me the war is this horrible? Why didn't you tell me I'll have to choose between 2 power hungry demons? Like 1 of them isn't bad enough.
As the warlock starts walking on devastated land, he finds a tome titled
History of the Godmodder Conflict: Origins
W+ VS g
He opens the first page and before he could read anything, pages turn into a red mist. At first, the mist is aimlessly floating, but as soon as every single page turned into it, the mist made two humanoid shapes: over the first human were letters in ancient elven reading "Zero", while the other one had the name "Richard". Then suddenly, the warlock realised he isn't holding a book: Now in one hand he holds the Ender Cocatrice's feather, while the book transformed into an ancient scroll.
This is your time, priest
Write your name, choose the side
Destroy the godly beast
From this bloodshed you cannot hide
After reconsidering everything that happened, he wrote
Kher'Athri
Pro-Zero
He saw Richard right next to him, and without even having time to see what's happening, words came out of his mouth. Richard got flinged into the air and a whirlwind trapped him inside a lightning circle. Then with another sentence in ancient elven, his hand got wrapped with the oblivion aura, and with it's power he punched the Godmodder into his chest with such power he was knocked back 10 miles and hit his head into a rock!

I watch as Francisco / Kher'athri does some super crazy magical-stuff directed at Richard.
ag: The Sleuth decides to talk in all caps to express his displeasure. "KIDS THESE DAYS."
As he conjures the whirlwinds and lightning, I switch the Armistyx to Somewhat Long Rod Scythe Mode, and tape it to the Removal. I then leap towards Kher'athri and proceed to hit him with the Removal, demo-pan style as he goes in to punch Richard. The oblivion powers of the Removal overpower the oblivion aura in his fist, and the corruption energy causes the oblivion energy in his hand to explode. Kher'athri is launched about three feet to the left.
Deciding that moving him three feet to the left simply isn't enough, I call in a few friends. SharkLover37 suddenly appears, and using his shark-calling powers, causes a massive shark to erupt from the ground, catching Kher'athri in his mouth. The shark then proceeds to rocket into the air, nearing the Chief. I then run into position, in front of the shark, and proceed to use the Oblivion + Armistyx combo to slam the shark straight into the chief. I then get scolded by SharkLover37 for hurting an innocent shark and HOW COULD YOU.

Darn, let me check that out! I also want to put up some art on DTGS someday... you guys are quite the trendsetters.
A object is burning up through the atmosphere, the flames scorching the shields of the vessel. The Basilisk War Droid continues its descent from orbit. The War Droid is mounted by a sole figure, stoic as he slams into into the Chief with his vessel. The Hooded Sith hops off his Droid and instructs it to return later when its shields are recharged, the Droid takes off with its thruster engines creating a wind that billows Revan's cloak
Revan ignites his lightsabers. The Force has lead him here, he shall kill Zero and her followers, Defend Richard and help him achieve his goals. His eventual death will trigger events that will aid Revan's plans
OK, Hiatus is almost over, but from the looks of things I'll have to wait until the 9th to get it done-complications came up, as expected when I first announced the Hiatus. Just letting you know.

A forum game by you sounds like fun, I'll check it out for sure!

.
That's because the last one you ran lasted exactly two years.

Vermiculus Regis surrexit de tenebrae ad suo soliu
I charge up some blank memes, the polar opposite of dank memes, and the rawest form of memes. I fire them at G.F. Alpha-Omega, just to make sure of death. I store some for later.

...hey, I still have a post.
And somebody's trying to attack Richard.

The dream that you've never dreamed is suddenly about to FLOWER.

@Leonstar
You have a right to your claim as king of animation.
Darn, let me check that out! I also want to put up some art on DTGS someday... you guys are quite the trendsetters.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
Basilisk War Droid 1/25
Uzi's Shatterpoint 1/10
HK-47 1/50
He ate the bread that he made from stone
He fell from the Temple, never broke a bone
Bowed down to the Emperor and watched as former King was overthrown
He sits alone on his throne.
OK, Hiatus is almost over, but from the looks of things I'll have to wait until the 9th to get it done-complications came up, as expected when I first announced the Hiatus. Just letting you know.
