Poll: Should I move this game to the Terraria Community Forums?
This is where most of the Destroy the Godmodder community is located, and the question has been coming up a lot. So, what do you think? Please vote, as this is very important!

For the moment, I transform Ad Astra into an axe, and chop open the first Mook on the entity list's head. Flavour text will come later, as will the activation of Intervention, because of P&Sdop shenanigans.

I have returned from my spree of laziness, and will now proceed to actually be useful. Yay.
What do you think about the Component system? It just seems to me like a way to get around the charge cap and also complete charges faster.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My avatar explains everything.
Inventory will be put here when resurrected, and Chaos, Terraria and Salvation will also be added here.
Well, I am, and I'm ready to pick up my GM-ing gear for real again! However, I'm still adjusting, so I will be taking a rest here. However, rest assured that progress WILL come tomorrow. And in case anyone asks, Vancouver was gorgeous.
Well, this is the first update in a while. Nevertheless, there are a LOT of entities in the EOTE, so this will have to be a half-update!
Important! I am thinking of revamping the group combat system, since groups of entities don't give any smaller entities a chance to shine/a fighting chance and to make fights generally more climactic, as well as decrease the span of focus for my updates, thus a more likely chance that I'll get one finished in time.. How would you feel about this?
Revan uses Force Repulse scattering the Wood Jesters around like leaves in the wind.
Nyarly pummels a Hammer Mook with a barage of arcane energy channeled by his staff sending dark violet bolts of crackling energy at the poor sap. The bolts cut through the Mook's flesh like butter searing bits that were cut through and mangling the Hammer Mook's flesh as bone is clearly visible from the wounds. Its comrades look at their fallen friend struck with grief.

You deal 2 damage to every Wood Jester opposing you and Stumble them for the turn! You direct the brunt of the blast at the weakest Wood Jester, pushing him off the outcrop's edge! You're pretty sure he isn't getting back up; it's a long way down.
Nyarly deals 4 damage to the weakest Hammer Mook, putting him into critical health!
Revan fires her four shots into a Wood Jester, sending wood splinters flying from its body creating massive cracks and bullet holes in the frame of the Jester.
HK-47 targets the one Revan attacked and finishes it off, unless Revan successfully killed it which in that case he targets the last Wood Jester left with delight.
Nyarly hops upon the Ballista once more and fires a shot into the Mook Leader sending the recent arrival flying off with a large arrow in the chest, poisoning the Commading Officer.

Of your four shots, half of those hit.You deal 6 damage to the bleeding Wood Jester!
HK-47 will do as you say.
Sadly, the Ballista can only be fired once every turn.
After some thought, I decide to go with simplified gestures first, turning and snapping my fingers to try getting the Manticore's attention again. Then, I... proceed to fail to know how to do gestures. Some moments pass.
"...I haven't thought this through at all."
There's another fairly long pause, before I snap my fingers again, and cough. Then, I gesture to the Manticore using a set of movements to indicate that me, and the rest of my group, would like to move through without fighting.
You grab the Manticore's attention, but the Manticore is not quick to let people enter its territory. Maybe it could be distracted with something (say, food)?

I have returned from my spree of laziness, and will now proceed to actually be useful. Yay.
What do you think about the Component system? It just seems to me like a way to get around the charge cap and also complete charges faster.
You deal 5 damage to the first Lightly Armored Sword Mook, inflicting Bleeding for 2 turns!
I feel like components are hyper-lazy, unless they;re being used to summons something larger than the charge cap. That's why I chewed out sunnyau earlier.
The Altar Commons deals 6 damage to a Lightly Armored Hammer Mook!
Ninjatwist_ decides to fire a burst shot at the incoming Spear Mooks, but his aim is thrown off and he whiffs the burst!
The Player Archers launch a double strike on one of the Sniper Rifle Mooks, killing it instantly with a 16-damage dual-arrow mini-barrage.
Two of the Red Shirts deal 4 damage each to two Spear Mooks!
The Templar Knights strike, dealing 4 damage to the 6 most healthy Spear Mooks!
The Mook Leader issues his orders:
"Those knights look like they could do a lot of damage over time. Thin their numbers! Anyone with Power tech or heavy guns, target whatever they're spawning from! Also, Machine Gun guys, hit those Skeletons!"
The Lightly Armored Sword Mooks each deal 3 damage to 4 Knights Templar!
The Lightly Armored Hammer Mooks deal 3 damage to 4 Knights Templar!
Eight Spear Mooks all deal 6 damage each to 4 of the Knights Templar, bringing four of them down! One targets the healthiest Templar and deals 3 damage, while another Spear Mook caves in to his insanity and strikes at a Powered Assault Rifle Mook for 3 damage!
The Axe Mooks strike two uninjured Knights Templar for 4 and 6 damage!
One of the Powered Assault Rifle Mooks unleashes a three-round burst in self defense, yet hesitant to fire upon his won kin. All three shots hit, dealing 6 damage to the offending Spear Mook, gravely injuring him! The Power Armored Mook recoils in horror as to what he has done. The same Mook is Stunned for the following turn!
The other two Powered Assault Rifle Mooks shoot at the Altar Commons, firing off a full spray of shots. Of the spray, only 3 shots each manage to hit, dealing 6 damage to the Altar Commons!
The Machine Gun Mooks open fire on the Skeletons! The Skeletons lose 13 units!
The Sniper Rifle Mooks open up with the largest amount of fire they can! They deal 8 damage to the Altar Commons!
The Powered Rocket Launcher Mook fires a shell into the Altar Commons, dealing 9 damage!
The Clash of Clans skeletons go on a rampage, overwhelming and slaying one of the non-regretful Axe Mooks and dealing 6 damage to the other!
The Altar Commons summons 6 more Templar Knights to protect itself.
The Acolyte unleashes a bolt of evil chain-lightning! This takes out 14 of the Clash of Clans Skeletons' units!
The forest ahead remains silent... for now.
I have struck the Altar Commons with the nerfing stick. Now there are a maximum of 15 Knights on the field.

One of the Wood Jesters, in desperation, activates Forestwind, slashing twice at one of the Battle AIs!
The other Wood Jester hacks at HK-47, but he misses.
The Battle AIs deal 4 damage each Wood Jesters!
HK-47 haphazardly fires all the shots he has into the Wood Jester! However, every single shot misses!
The Technology Master stays back and lets the Battle AIs do his dirty work.
One of the Wood Jesters is bleeding out!

Alright, guys, I'll be putting out a 1/3rd update. Please be sure to vote on that poll!
Also, just a quick tip: You guys can charge up for attacks as well as entities/items. Feel free to do this if a summon wouldn't be very good in the short term, such as if the enemy has a lot of control over the board.

You finish off the most injured Lightly Armored Hammer Mook, who was clinging to life by a single health point! This secures another Mook downed to your name.
Eh, I've considered it. Maybe we (as a community) will talk it up some other time.
I still don't want to make an account there just to play forum games...
It's not that complicated. I made a new forum account in advance to play 0rigins myself, and I don't even play Terraria!
(However, I did play Starbound before the release, but I'm not sure if that counts.)

Well, I am, and I'm ready to pick up my GM-ing gear for real again! However, I'm still adjusting, so I will be taking a rest here. However, rest assured that progress WILL come tomorrow. And in case anyone asks, Vancouver was gorgeous.
Stay tuned!
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
You deal 2 damage to every Wood Jester opposing you and Stumble them for the turn! You direct the brunt of the blast at the weakest Wood Jester, pushing him off the outcrop's edge! You're pretty sure he isn't getting back up; it's a long way down.
Nyarly deals 4 damage to the weakest Hammer Mook, putting him into critical health!
You deal 8 damage to one of the Machine Gun Mooks, opening them up to be finished off by poisoning!
Of your four shots, half of those hit.You deal 6 damage to the bleeding Wood Jester!
HK-47 will do as you say.
Sadly, the Ballista can only be fired once every turn.
You grab the Manticore's attention, but the Manticore is not quick to let people enter its territory. Maybe it could be distracted with something (say, food)?
You deal 5 damage to the first Lightly Armored Sword Mook, inflicting Bleeding for 2 turns!
I feel like components are hyper-lazy, unless they;re being used to summons something larger than the charge cap. That's why I chewed out sunnyau earlier.
Well, that makes two of us that just got back from vacation.
You respawn successfully! Although your Empowered Stone Sword and your Cave Detector have been dropped on the ground.
You deal 5 damage to the remaining Wood Jester, leaving him to Bleed for the next 2 turns!
You enter an improvised shield stance!
====[End-of-Turn Events]====

====[sunnyau's sidequest]====
The Snow Bison rams through your hasty shielding stance, dealing 6 damage to you! Thankfully, the shield blocks the stunning that would have ensued should you have remained unprotected.
Your Empowered Stone Sword and your Cave Detector are still on the ground.
The Snow Bison takes Burning damage!

It cracks sending chips of the wooden adversary flying. She delivers a few more blows to the Jester. The Jester collapses into a heap of wood fit for kindling.
HK-47 frustrated, will target the remaining Wood Jester or secure the chest.
Nyarly taps on Consumer's shoulder and points over to the Mook Leader attacking.
Nyarlathotep pulls a sniper rifle from some ethereal plane and takes aim at the Mook Leader. His sole red eye takes focus and nails the Mook splattering blood across the Battlefield.

"...Okay..."
I pause for a moment, then suddenly have a steak in hand. And then suddenly I have my fists out, and the steak on a plate on the ground not too far in front of me near the Manticore. And then I move a step to the right, pull out another steak, and end up creating another steak on a plate on the ground. Rinse and repeat and repeat and repeat until there is a ridiculously long trail of steak-on-plates leading off in a complicated trail off into the distance.
(Man the peaceful route is so weirdly ooc for me since I usually just DPS my way through)
GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS
[RP AND ACTIONS]
I take out Ad Astra, still not entirely into the battle, before spinning it around a few times. A few, low HP Mooks, approach me, before I drop the wand, causing the ground around the low HP Mooks to explode.
Intervention:
In my half asleep state, I decide to add a Dream Reaver add-on to Ad Astra, because connecting my weapons to the realm I'm probably halfway in is definitely a good idea and not at all terrible.
[CHARGES, ALCHEMIES AND ASSISTS]
Intervention 20/20 ==================== COMPLETE!
And A Completely Different Type of Witch 25/25 =========================
The Lordling (STALLED) 15/15 ===============
+1 to Revan
[OUT OF CHARACTER]
I would usually format this out, but I have no idea how to format this so I'll just state the general concept.
Ad Astra now causes me to heal if I attack an Unconscious target. Considering my weapon, you can guess why I consider this desirable.
My avatar explains everything.
Inventory will be put here when resurrected, and Chaos, Terraria and Salvation will also be added here.

Eh, five posts. I guess I'll wait one more day for any stragglers to catch up and re-post.
Also, voting on that poll has gone up, and so far it's a unanimous "Yes"!
Some form of update should happen tomorrow. In the mean time, please be sure to re-post anything you've missed.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
Action: I pummel down a weaker mook and I am back again.
+1 to Blinky/Solar_San (R)/tc2142/Consumer/Revanchist/Fanta/sunnyau (Bold is I give one Assist.)
Somewhat Tanky non-Boss Entity Component A (Progress 1/?) 7/25
GLWTC! Component B 5/25
Sceptre of Health Switching (Progress 0/4) Component A 11/25
Super Charge Storage: N/A = 0 Charge Points
OOC: Maybe we should move this to TCF instead of MCF because TCF is much better than MCF because, Better Formatting, less posts being rended/deleted, bigger character limit, and more
In the world that we are beating some stuff now.
Now that Happened! Where we all begins.
When Worlds Collide in Destroy The Godmodder, There is the massive Colosseum that holds all that onslaught.
Oh goddamn it another moving to TCF suggestion
I still don't want to make an account there just to play forum games...
GODDAMN IT
STUPID GENDERFLIP VIRUS
I reflect on my actions by grabbing the Orb of Reflection
Underground Base (Part 2/2):16/25
Phoenix:5/5 (A healer who flies and regenerates after death. Heals 1HP a turn to make up for its basic invincibility)
I begin summoning an Inferno Tower:5/15
My suggestion: Redstone Power Distance
Alright, guys, I'll be putting out a 1/3rd update. Please be sure to vote on that poll!
Also, just a quick tip: You guys can charge up for attacks as well as entities/items. Feel free to do this if a summon wouldn't be very good in the short term, such as if the enemy has a lot of control over the board.
You deal 4 damage to one of the Wood Jesters!
Nyarly seems to have a knack for old-fashioned weaponry. He targets the two Mooks on low health, thus slaying them both!
Nyarly now has 2 Mook kills under his belt in the Mook Body Count.
You deal 8 damage to one of the healthiest Spear Mooks and inflict them with Poison! This spends the second poison shot in the Ballista.
You deliver a swift uppercut to the Wood Jester you targeted earlier, knocking them out! Because of their wounds, no referee comes in to count. They're highly likely to stay down.
Nyarlthotep deals 4 damage to the Mook Leader and alerts him that he is being targeted!
The Manticore eats well off of the steaks you provide, and meanders away from the door! This alows you and company to move forward to explore the monastery.
The Lightly Armored Hammer Mooks sustain 4 damage to the healthier one and 2 damage to the more injured ones!
I wonder if your Lordling charge concerns the Lordling I'm thinking about...
You finish off the most injured Lightly Armored Hammer Mook, who was clinging to life by a single health point! This secures another Mook downed to your name.
Eh, I've considered it. Maybe we (as a community) will talk it up some other time.
It's not that complicated. I made a new forum account in advance to play 0rigins myself, and I don't even play Terraria!
(However, I did play Starbound before the release, but I'm not sure if that counts.)
You grab Duplicate P's Orb of Reflection!
====[The Conclusion]====
Well, that's that. The rest of the update should come tomorrow. Also, as I said before, please vote on that poll whenever you can.
An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...
