So, I've been toying with this idea for a while. A TCG adaptation for DtG. I've come up with a few idea to represent the core mechanics.

--

Spoiler Alert
You start with two separate decks. One Character deck and a Main deck.

The Character deck represents your character. One is revealed to show your character at the current time.

The Main deck is your pool of actions. It contains Free Action cards and Charged Action cards.

Free Action cards does a simple action that you can do once per turn by discarding the card.

Charged Action cards does a variety of actions that you must pay with Charges to play.

You get two Charge a turn. Charged Action cards are generally costed at 1/10 it's cost in the sessions. (At least that's the plan).

That's the mechanics for the game that I planned. Suggestions are welcome.

Now, on to the problems:

1) Artwork, this could be a pain because we can't really hire an artist to do it. I'm thinking of doing pure text, makes it feel more forum-y, but may make it hard to keep track of which card is which and probably is an eyesore.

2) Platform, I don't know of a place to make and play custom card games. I prefer browser-based, so if any of you know a place to do this, feel free to do so in this thread.

So, hooray for first topic in ages.
