ALL PLAYER ACTIONS INPUTTED

The Annoying Modeler is so happy to exist, he/she/it says "yeys".

Widowmaker shoots a hookshot at Skelebob E, wanting to get the glory of having our first TWO kills. Base accuracy = 60%, +50% from weapon passive, +25 from range, *1.3 from dex, *1.65 from skill, *0.4 from high cover = 115.83. Nobody is safe. NOBODY. Skelebob E plummets into the inky abyss of nonexistence, meaning the spoop meter of the other one suffers a critical spike!

Joebob preforms an epic, risky jumping move to get closer to that chest to the south. I might have to nerf jumping because it pretty much lets you freakin' fly everywhere. Then he builds himself some dirt and goes on overwatch.

For Sukard, I'm assuming you mean up, as in north. Alright. You go down the path.

Lawrence switches cover sides and charges his railgun. I realize I forgot to remove that from last turn.

Orothec moves south a block and shoots an uncharged raingun blast at Zomble B. It's a pretty bad shot though. 60% base accuracy, +0% from range, *1.25 from Dex, *0.4 from high cover = 30%. And... ... Oh... I rolled a 31. ... Welp. Scatter time. x = -7.96, y = -4.81, z = 6.38. You hit a block of grass to the side for 10 * 200% = 20 damage, which destroys it.

Chloe moves to take better cover and casts Divine Grace on Orothec at a range of 5.8 blocks. Base accuracy = 85%, +0% from range, *1 from dex = 85% (duh), and I rolled a 40, so direct hit. I rolled an 8 for a crit, so not quite. Rolled a 10 for healing, +3 from SPT, = 13 Fire HP restored and 5 EP.

Mei moves behind the wooden barrier.

The Annoying Modeler runs into a wall. I'm assuming you meant "a tile northwest, two north, 1 northwest, 1 northwest, 1 west.", because otherwise you would hit a wall. But this way you get to below the doorway. If that's not what you meant, feel free to correct me.

Okay. That's all player actions taken. Now to work out how I can best murder Joe...

Zomble A runs over the magma to go punch Joe in the face, as that is the only target it can reach right now. 90% accuracy - 30% from reflex = 60% hit chance, and... FREAKING TEASER ROLLS! Oh well. If it's happening to you guys, it's only fair it happens to the enemies. I rolled a 62, so Joe dodges the attack.

Zomble B moves south east 1, then north east 3, then north one more.

Zomble C climbs over the wooden barricade and moves behind the pile of stone.

Skelebob D, now terrified of Widowmaker, jumps down so as to be out of sight. However, it cooperates with the Creep Beep. So Creep Beep I moves in front of the window and shoots at Mei and Orothec's cover. It has 25% accuracy and misses, but I expected that. We go on to Scatter. x = 5.97, y = 4.89, z = -1.56. It didn't hit exactly where I wanted, but pretty close. It hits for 24 terrain damage, meaning Orothec's dirt barrier gets roasted and/or toasted, and Orothec takes 7+1 = 8 damage. And... Wow. Actually, a TON of terrain gets destroyed. The planks get away with just one crack, so Mei doesn't take any damage. Orothec, however, almost dies because there's no dirt under where he was standing. Instead, there is just an infinite abyss. Rolling where 1 = north, 2 = east, etc. 1. He escapes to the north, which is lucky for him. He is dazed for this turn.

Sadly for the Skelebob, Orothec is still in cover. So instead, the Skelebob takes its shot against the only target not in cover, Sukard. 75% chance, but I rolled an 80. It's a new world record folks, a Skelebob has missed. x =-4.47, y = 4.68, z = 3.89. The Skelebob just shoots a block of wood and accomplishes nothing.

Robojustice does nothing, taking a break from being judgemental.

Zomble H moves a couple blocks forward. Cool.

Creep Beep I has already acted.

Now for my favorite enemies. If Derpling J was smarter, it would ignore Joebob because he's on overwatch for it specifically. But creatures with the word "derp" in their name tend to not be tactical masterminds. Derpling J takes off and moves 3 blocks north to attack Joe, triggering the overwatch. 70% base, +15 from dex, -30% from enemy reflex, *0.8 from overwatch, = 44% chance to hit. Rolling... 90, 88, 33. You hit once, dealing 8 damage and making the derpling fall to the ground. Then it bites your ankles, and hits, dealing 12 Fire damage. The derpling flails around on the ground for a while, then takes off and flies away, seeming to make a rude gesture as it goes.

Derpling K flies up to over the magma and spits green derp energy at Mei. 40% chance, and it hits with a 35, dealing 5 damage to Mei, and 4 damage to Orothec. Both of them are now standing on derp, which is bad.

Finally, derpling L flies out of the little window it's in and spits at Widowmaker. It's a 6% chance to hit, and misses with a 41. x = 0.95, y = 1.33, z = 6.36. It was going so well until that 6. Anyway, the derpling misses and hits a piece of stone to your north.

It's getting a little hectic up in here...

Everyone's regen happens. Zomble A takes 2 damage from the burn. Maybe status effects are a little... underwhelming.

In other news, you know how tedious it is to build structures in Blender?

I snipe Creep Beep I, and if I can't do that, I attempt to blow Derp Dragon L out of the sky.

I'm pretty sure 7 move is enough to go straight to the chest, and if so i do so, and open the chest, then hunker down and go into overwatch for any entitys entering my melee range, in which case i will attack them. if its not enough, I go as close as i can, hunker down, and overwatch for the same thing as before.

Mei, being notably brave, continues her charge forth, moving North 1 and NorthWest 4, before beginning to freeze Dragon Derpling K, likely making it burn up in the lava.

Her positioning may make it so that any projectiles from the enemy fortress will hit that wooden barrier. Hopefully.

Chloe decides to heal Orothec again. While she'd like to get in there and slash something, Orothec getting low would be a problem, and charging in now would be highly dangerous. Poor guy, getting hit by... everything.

Orothec switches to his Ircuvci.

If Orothec's Dazed has been cured, he moves NW 3 times and W 3 times. He then repeatedly stabs the adjacent zombie.

If he is still Dazed, he moves E 1 time, SE 2 times, and E 1 time. He then overwatches using the Ircuvci.

Okay, I had some computer issues and lost some progress. Hopefully everything is still okay.

Widowmaker, deciding that enemy cover is a thing only losers without 143% accuracy before range bonuses care about, shoots at the Creep Beep. 60% base, +20 from range, +50 from weapon passive, *1.3 from dex, *0.6 from cover, = 101.4%. Widow OP plz nerf. You hit for 18 physical damage on the Creep Beep. I rolled a 96 for crit, by the way.

Joebob completely ignores the Zomble trying to eat him and focuses on something much more important, LOOTZ! He runs up to the chest and kicks it open before looting its contents. Hunkering down takes your action, by the way. So you can't do both that and overwatch.

Some items go into the group inventory!
+4 planks (can be placed the same way as dirt, but it's about 9 times more durable)
+2 short poem (a short inspirational poem. You can read this without costing yourself an action. Grants +15 EP. Then it moves you to tears so much that you rip up the paper so nobody else can read it.)
+1 bandage (can be used as an action to heal for 6-8 physical HP in melee range. Gives +4 HP and a 30% chance to cure a status effect if used on an ally, rather than yourself)

In addition, this is the introduction of the "loot pool" mechanic. Every time you have a loot pool, the group will be able to vote on which equipment item should be added as an option (starting next fight). Different events will give you a different number of options. And to set a good example for U.S. politics, we're using alternate voting. Basically, rank the items as your 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice, etc. The item with the most votes will be added as equipment. The other items are not lost. Instead, they can come up again the next time you have a loot pool, possibly after they have been changed slightly.
Loot Pool

Item A: Inductive Rush
A Melee Movement Spell.
Costs 35 EP. Spend your action on one turn. On the next turn, you can move up to twice your speed and preform two basic melee attacks. These two melee attacks do not grant EP.

Item B: Wild Growth
A melee weapon with a range of 2.
Small Melee. 40% Accuracy. N/A Scatter. 15/+5 EP. 10-13 Nature Damage. 500% Terrain Mod.
Weapon Passive: Fury of the Wilds
Whenever you miss a melee attack with this weapon, it deals one third damage instead (doesn't give bonus EP), and repeats the attack on a random adjacent block. Hitting nothing counts as missing. Can make a total of up to 4 attacks.

Item C: Tron Shoe
A trinket with a unique effect.
+20% Energy Resistance. +20% Fire Resistance. +10% Wild Resistance
Passive: Throw:
Throws your shoe at an enemy. Doesn't count as an action, but you can only throw one shoe per turn. You have two shoes, and each shoe you throw reduces the passive effects of this trinket by 50%. Makes a ranged attack with 100% accuracy and 7 Scatter. Loses 5% accuracy for every meter past 5 meters. On a hit, deals 6-8 damage. The shoe then drops straight down and stays there. You must move adjacent to it to pick it up again and regain the passive effects of this trinket. You can pick it up in the middle of a move. If it flies off the map, then... tough. Should have been more careful with your shoes.

Item D: Brawler's Dress
Because we don't have enough STR items.
Armor Item. Grants +2 STR, +15% attack crit chance, -1 INT, -2 EP regen

Mei runs up to the derpling. It was at this point that the derpling (and I) realized it had made a grave mistake. Mei's attack has 90% base accuracy, +5% from dex, -30% from enemy reflex = 65%. ... Rolled an 82.

Sukard moves up closer and overwatches.

Lawrence shoots a blast of plasma at the derpling, at a range of 17.76 meters. 60% base, +15% from charge, -45% from enemy flight, *1.1 from dex = 33%. And I rolled a 71. Going on to scatter. But you do have 6 Scatter instead of 11 because of charging, and a 10% bonus from dex. x = 0.18 (amazing), y = -0.10 (also amazing), and z = 1.91 (great). Because of those good rolls, you blast it right in the very tip of its nose. Damage dealt = 10 base, +6 from charge, *1.5 from enemy weakness = 24 energy damage! The derpling falls to the ground and gets burnt, but it does have fire resistance.

Chloe does the same thing as last turn. You know, 85% chance to hit, rolled a 33, that's a hit, 7 base, +3 from SPT, so 10 HP and 5 EP restored. And I rolled a 7 for crit. Even closer this time. You have a 25% chance to heal the dazed, and... rolled a 93. So that's a no go.

Orothec, dazed, moves back and overwatches, I'm assuming for that deflection chance.

The Annoying Modeler walks west. Go west, my son.

Now it's the enemy turn. My personal goal is to at least set somebody to death's door. Anyone care to volunteer?

Zomble A moves up six squares and punches Joe, rolling a 58, which is a hit and deals 15 damage. It triggers the overwatch, which has a 60% chance to hit. Rolled a 71, a 14, and a 61. So that's 1 hit for 7 damage.

Zomble B walks around to the other side of Mei (so as to hopefully use her as cover against shots) and punches her in the face, which has a 90% chance to hit. I rolled a 66, so it deals 14 * 1.1 = 15 damage.

Zomble C moves forward, but can't atack Chloe as there's no line of sight.

Skelebob D was going to shoot at the Annoying Modeler, but because I allowed an edited action, now has no shot. Instead, it moves up again to the top of the pillar and takes the best shot it has, which is against Joe. 60% + 15% * 0.6 = 45%. And... I rolled a 9. It deals 10 * 1.1 = 11 damage.

Gee, Robojustice does nothing. What a slacker.

Zomble H doesn't move.

The Creep Beep, thinking that it's probably going to die to Widowmaker next turn anyway, moves forward and takes cover behind Zomble H. It then lobs a sulfer blast at Sukard. It has a 15% hit chance because of cover, and I rolled... a 19. Perfect. Scatter time. x = -5.8, y = -3.896, z = -5.33. ... Well, that was effective. It would have been a great shot, but instead hits that wooden barricade. It rolls an 8, so 24 terrain damage, meaning a large part of the terrain over there is rip.

Now, derpling J flies north east 4 times, then north once and attacks Chloe in melee. 120% accuracy - 30 from reflex = 90%. I rolled a 77, so that's a hit for 13 * 0.9 = 11 damage. And... it's ONE space short of being able to fly into the window with rush. So instead, it flies north east twice, then down and east once.

Derpling K flies forward a space and attacks Mei with 120% accuracy, which is a sure hit, but not a crit, for 13 damage. Then it flies off and passes by Sukard, triggering his overwatch. 50% base accuracy, +10% from dex, -30% from enemy reflex, *0.8 from overwatch = 24%. ... And I rolled a 19. GG derpling. Dead because they don't understand overwatches. (They were made partially to encourage people to test overwatches, as well). 21 base, +2 from STR, *1.5 from weakness (the derpling's burn made it weak to cold) = 34 damage. Ow. ... Ah, DTG. In what other franchise can you clobber a dragon out of the air with a trash can?

Finally, Derpling L flies through the window of the wooden structure and attacks the only target it can reach, Mei. It's the same attack as before. Rolled a 94 for crit, so nope. ... Huh. I actually achieved my goal. That was quick. The derpling hits for 12 damage, setting Mei at DEATH'S DOOR!

Orothec's daze finishes. And everyone (except Mei)'s regen happens.

Mei is in a tough spot. You might want to help her. Joe also isn't looking too good.

Edit- Oh, I should warn you Darkside. Cryofreeze technically wouldn't get you off Death's Door because HP regen doesn't function on Death's Door.

I climb onto the ledge (NW*2, N*1) and leap straight forwards, landing 3 north of the magmas westmost block. I then cast elemental blast with the element light aimed at the zombie that attacked me last turn.

Mei abandons her initial plan, dashing 1 East, 1 SouthEast, then 4 East. She then requests a heal, and waits for a response before taking her action.

"Chloe, I need healing!" - Critical Health!

If Mei's request for healing follows through, then she immediately goes into Cryofreeze.

However, if it does not, she goes on overwatch, staring at the Derpling with a horrifying malice in her eyes...

She also notes that she should begin to invest in DEX... assuming she doesn't die a horrible death.

Orothec shambles S 2 times, SW 1 time, W 1 time, and SW 1 time. He then turns to the Derpling 1 (enemy J) and uses Gust.

Chloe moves 1 to the Northeast, 2 to the North, 2 to the Northeast, and two to the North, before placing dirt blocks towards the west. She then tosses yet another heal, this time at Mei / Darkside. She reads a poem to heal her if she must.

Okay. Let's actually do this turn. I'm real sorry this took longer than expected, but I spent most of today traveling.

I realize I forgot to deal damage to Zomble A from the burn, so that happens now. It takes 2 damage. The horror.

Joebob leaps down off the platform before turning around and launching an elemental blast at Zomble A. It's a range of 12.39 blocks. So... 65% base, +5% from range, *1.15 from Dex = 80.5 % hit chance. And I rolled a 39.9, so you hit for 11+1 = 12 damage.

Being at rather low HP, Mei runs away, running under the derpling getting clobbered by a trash can.

Orothec does something I didn't even consider, but will blame on the Derplings' stupidity, and runs down to poosh the derpling to its death. As a sure hit, it deals (9+1) * 1.5 = 15 damage. But more importantly, the derpling makes that cartoon running sound effect and plumets into the abyss. As a side note, what technically happened is that the derpling took 15 damage, got moved away by 2 blocks, then fell. And no, you didn't get a crit, by the way. (rolled a 71)

Widowmaker shoots at the Creep Beep (range = 25.38), even though there is barely any line of sight, and... You know what? Let's do a little experiment. Let's assume the shot misses and goes to Scatter. You have 5 scatter base, *0.7 from range (plus weapon bonus), *0.2 from weapon passive, *0.7 from Dex = .49 maximum scatter. Now if I roll for scatter... x = 0.022, y = -.33, z = -.218. ... You still hit (after I give the benifit of the doubt for where you shot from, though, but I give that for every shot), even though the amount of the Creep Beep you could see was tiny. It deals 14 + 2 = 16 damage. ... Well, at least there's that.
note

This is the angle of the shot, by the way. Hopefully this gives you an idea of why I'm scratching my head wondering what I was thinking when I gave the weapon a -80% scatter bonus.

Sukard moves over to the derpling and attempts to stuff it into his trash can of justice. 50% base, +5% from emails, +10% from Dex, -30% from enemy reflex = 35% hit chance. Can he do it? A roll of... wow. A roll of 6 says he can. And... Whelp. Rolled a 25 for base damage. 25 + 2 = 27 damage to Derpling L.

Lawrence just charges his lazor railgun.

Chloe moves over to heal Mei, then builds herself some cover and reads a poem. Such characterization! Such feeling! +15 EP. Finally, she casts Divine Grace on Mei. And it gets +1% accuracy because the default path worked just fine on its own, and I didn't have to edit it. 85% base accuracy, +5% from range, +1% from GM lazyness = 91%. And I rolled a 9. It restored 10 base, + 3 from SPT, * 0.8 from Death's Door = 10 HP, which takes Mei off of Death's Door. She then immediately becomes a block of ice, which is somehow healthy.

The Annoying Modeler moves up next to Zomble C. And because it's just annoying to do otherwise, we'll say you automatically rotate to fit the situation. 90% base accuracy, +20% from Dex, -10% from enemy Reflex = 100%. Do you need me to roll? Fine. I'll do it anyway and... I rolled a 99.29. 1 less point in Dex and you would have missed. 13% crit chance, and I rolled an 85. So it deals 10 + 2 = 12 damage.

Now the enemy turn starts, and the poison fades away from all blocks, meaning they are safe to stand on again.

Zomble A moves down and becomes the first enemy to actually use its special! What joy! It uses "****-ING ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE! I CAN'T BUILD ANYTHING!" and summons another zomble in front of it with a whopping total of 8 max HP. It literally doesn't matter that the zomble is burned because it has so little max HP.

Zomble B moves south east siz tiles, punching Sukard along the way. It has a 90% - 15% = 75% chance to hit, and it hits with a 31 roll, dealing 16 damage to Sukard (all these physical weaknesses!).

Now... Zomble C... I'm sorry to say this Joe, but you're in for a world of hurt. It moves 6 spaces to be adjacent to Joe and attacks with a 60% hit chance. But luckily for you, it misses with a 66 roll.

Skelebob D has no good shots. So it moves down and uses BANG BANG BANG! at some random point in between the Annoying Modeler and Joebob. Here we go. 6 shots, 18 scatter rolls. If I get even one hit from this, it will be amazing. But I thought it would be kinda fun.

Let's rock and roll.

In total, I got one hit. It was one hit on Joebob, and it deals 6 damage, setting him on DEATH'S DOOR!

Robojustice judges the Skelebob for not hitting more of those shots.

Zomble H... also attacks Joe, as that is the only target it can reach. May RNGesus have mercy on your soul, Joebob. It's a 70% chance to hit (death's door reduced your reflex)... and it hits with a 17 roll, dealing 15 *1.1 + 4 = 20 damage. ... But... I rolled a 24. You had a 30% death blow resist, and I rolled under it, so you survive, but the Zomble overkilled you by 40% of your HP, which means you get an additional 3 stacks of Death's Door penalties. (1 from being hit while on DD, 1 from each 20% overkill). So if you get hit again while on Death's Door, you will die.

Also... this is your warning, Joe. If you heal yourself, it will only be 12% as effective (-40% healing given times -80% healing received). Meaning you'd have to heal yourself for at least 9 HP to gain even 1 hitpoint and get off Death's Door. If a heal comes from another source, it would have to heal for at least 5 HP.

Creep Beep I, facing oblivion, moves behind the wooden barricade and primes itself. It's going to explode at the end of its next turn!

Derpling L moves 6 south east and slashes at Chloe. 120% hit chance - 30% reflex = 90%, and it hits with a 58, dealing 12 * 0.9 = 10 fire damage (this is when rounding down works to your advantage). Then it flies another 2 blocks south east. Finally, it spends all its EP bar 10 to move an additional 3 blocks. I was one block short of getting into the window. Again.

Zomble M says hello to the world.

Status effects all tick down, dealing 2 damage to Zomble A.

Everybody (except Joe)'s regen happens. Mei doesn't get any EP, but instead gets 14 HP. It doesn't technically count as healing, so it doesn't get debuffed by Death's Door.

Hm. Like the US elections, we had high voter apathy, and so only three votes. Inductive Rush wins the election and is added to your spell list! I kinda predicted that would happen. It also gets a slight boost, as I thought of something else that might come up.

"It appears that once melee combat started, things got more interesting. There is still another event I wish to try, however.\n"

And with that, the entire arena starts to shake, sending bits of dust off into the abyss. It had been surprisingly sneaky, but now, a massive 3 meter high robot stomps its way out of the enemy fortress and stands ready on the bridge.

"... Don\'t paint it too grand. Three meters tall is tiny compared to some other enemies these people have fought.\n"

I pretend to not hear Winter and continue to say how scary the robot is. Meet our first boss enemy, the Stomp Bot MK C. Marvel at its stomping force. And today, it's here to stomp your face.

Boss Rundown

I've decided I'm going to sneakily teach you guys computer science concepts. So today, we have the finite automata. The Stomp Bot runs off a finite automata, which is basically like a flowchart. Each turn, it reads its input stream, and follows its little flowchart. Whenever it enters a new state, it preforms some action. Make sure you read the Google Sheet for more detailed information, but I'll help you out this first turn to get an idea.

It starts in state 1, and it input stream is B and A. So once its turn rolls around, it's going to start in state 1, then read the B and move to state 6, which means it's going to move towards the center of the map. Then on the same turn, it's going to read the A and go to state 5 and fly upwards. Make sense?

Edit - Some of the states have transitions to themselves. If the stomp bot transitions to a state it is already in, it will repeat the action associated with that state.

Technical Note: This isn't an actual finite automata. Real finite automata only have one set input stream, and they also have an accepting state. If the automata is in the accepting state when it gets through the whole input, then the input is accepted.

Technical note 2: Stomp Bot model stolen from http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/87605 . I suspect the creator intended for this to be much smaller.

oh come on........
well, i read the poem, I'm the main reason we have it in the first place. this poem should get me to, what, 5hp?
oh, its an EP restore? hm.
i guess I just run N1, NE 1, climb up (going N 1) and leap 1/2 direction N, 1 E, so my line is
__|```
__|
(as in 2 -> then one ^) landing right at the end of the bridge, and build a 2-block wall that floats to the west of me and increase the hight of the one to my south by one. I then overwatch for any enemys entering my meale range with ircuvici, attacking them if they do.
