Explosive Potential (4/20) [UPGRADE] Just wants to be famous (4/20) --- Marron was certainly directing tons of attention towards her with these machinations. They looked way too puppet-like for what they actually were. Besides the cat. That thing was decent. However, they were doubtlessly abominations of robotics. Not that 'Splodimus cared either way; an enemy was an enemy after all. And more enemies means more explosions. And exploding enemies were always better than non-exploding enemies. "I wonder how ya blokes get all th' materials for these... things? Hrm. Looks like I'se gotta step up me game a wee bit. If I learnt anythin' from fightin'... 'IM, it's that blades, beaks an' arrows 'urt." He ponders for a moment. "I think THIS'll do nicely for th' purpose." 'Splodimus proceeds to haul out a rather large, black rifle out of thin air (likely Hammerspace; where else would he safely keep unstable explosives?). The gun is of a high caliber, notably; more than twice that of a normal gun's. It's clip-fed, which is confusing as to how he's holding it so easily while standing up. What was more scary was when he decided to shoot the Winged Beast, directly into it's wing joints, without any recoil whatsoever. The shots turn out to be sticky bombs, him having shot two on each wing. Doesn't matter if it was grounded already or not; he still does this. Regardless, he loads another shot into his rifle, and lines up a shot into the beast's beak. Upon firing, the sticky bombs explode, making the beast's beak open and whatever the shot was that was fired from 'Splodimus' rifle cleanly fly into it's beak, forcibly fighting, cleaving, and puncturing through it's robotic parts until the shot reaches it's most central parts, sitting there for now. As for the explosives that were fired onto the wings that detonated, they've effectively blown them off completely, rendering the beast flightless and wingless (at the very least for now), and it's wings blown either which way, and backwards a fair bit. Unfortunately, this was 'Splodimus' time to get in a few strikes of his own. He swiftly maneuvers to the backside of the Wingless Beast, and mounts it, pummeling it's back until all that was left in the area was a large crater-sized hole in the plating, and any puppetry bits going up in flames from the exploding gauntlet pummeling, and the punches going so fast they ignite the Hydrogen in the air around them as they fly to their destination. Though something tells me he wasn't done. 'Splodimus dismounts the beast, leaving it to it's current wounds for a while. However, when he does come back... he's holding up a massive wing, readily sharpened for killing. It was the Beast's wing, of all things; the puppetry that may have remained stripped clean off and the metal sharpened to perfection. So, he walks up to the Beast, and slashes down on it's center of mass. Hard. Because the metal was presumably the same hardness as the rest of the body, it cleaves through with ease, cutting up the wires and circuits inside the machination. Done with the wing, he simply tosses it into a trash portal of sorts. He grabs the other wing, does the same to that one, and cleaves off the beast's beak with a great, precise overhead swing. He tosses that wing as well. He then does the same with the Beak, and forms it into a spear. It wasn't long before said spear was shoved through the beast's entire body from the front, and left there. His work done on the beast, he walks away. But not before activating whatever he shot inside the Beast... A wave of electromagnetism floods the area, clearly indicating the nature of what was shot into the Beast to be an EMP. It was powerful, too, shorting out the entire beast and frying the electronics inside of it so hard that they erupt into flames, disabling the terror of the skies and hopefully putting an end to it's tyranny, and bringing the AS's at least some form of peace from air-based monstrosities. I mean, as much as a guy using explosives for all kinds of tricks can give you, anyway. Originally posted on 2017-02-08 05:43:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. energy: 0/14 17/20 Vengeful God 4/10 kill the heritics +2 from ire +2 to ire I decide to get right into the swing of things, jumping over to the shepard and levitating it aside before it can knock over the 2D wall, landing in front of it, and draw the 2 blades from my past selfs action toward me, where they bob slowly up and down. I run forward, slash at them a few times with the blades, and thrust my hands forward, launching both the blades at him while spinning, and envelop my hands in Red and Blue fire, proceeding to Dash over and punch him with the orange burning one, launching hem into both of the swords for a second blow each and smashing him through a large glass pillar, which inflicts scratch damage on him and slows him down enough that he starts falling again. after a blink allows me to catch him with an uppercut from the blue hand , which launches him upwards in slow motion. the two swords from before float over and start spinning more quickly, slashing at his sides while the fire around my hands reforms into a two-handed sword that I then wield with one hand, which forms from both flames, and Leap upwards, landing several blink assisted hits (since dashes can't move me in mid-air) before launching an Emerald skystrike which is really just an overly fancy name for a green wave of energy from above (since green is opposite purple, and purple is red+blue), launching them into the ground and making them explode, which starts an unskipable 3 hour cut-scene where I beat his face in. the upside is this cut-scene attack one-shots everything, or at least it would if i could actually control that. as is its mostly a joke ![]() [attack animation version one, contains a glitch that looks sorta nice but is not intended] ![]() [version 2, glitch is removed] ![]() [the glitch is in V1, when the orb with those swords around it starts to grow, I get rid of the backround and the swords start leaving afterimages. this was very annoying to fix, but I did. Your entities will do as you say. Misunderstood what was going on. 8000 damage was dealt to the Shepherd instead, 10000 health was restored to the Foundation from the heal as the heal was a charged action. +10000 XP
Maybe you should stop making placeholders...
You inflict Grounded on the Winged Beast for 4 rounds! +6000 XP
Combat Special: Every End (Advanced) A cold, harsh wind is blowing. You turn your ear to listen. The wind seems to cover somewhat of a spectrum, pitched between high whistles and low rumbles. But it is a wind you know well, the winds of change. Of entropy. You spread your arms and the wind furls around you curling, twisting and then you unleash it. The wind suddenly reverts to its base form and and the air around you breaks as the blast of raw entropy spreads outwards. Your opponent turns to run, but they are too late. They are caught in the entropic blast and immediately have their atoms scrambled. 3500 damage to the Rock! +5500 XP
You bury the Winged Beast in tables, dealing 6000 damage to it. +8000 XP
4000 damage to a fire demon! Hierophant summoned! +6000 XP
You dismount the winged beast, removing one of its passives as well as your corresponding ones. Combat Special: Huntress (Basic) You ready your scythe. You are your own person, sometimes you feel insecure about your origins, but you have determined that you won't be defined by what Chaos decided you as. That doesn't mean that having origins as a Ruby Rose knockoff doesn't have its occasional perks. You dash at your target, Nightmarron at the ready. With a few quick blasts you begin cutting through them, slash, slice, cut smooth as silk quick as the bullets you're firing for momentum. Each cut leaves a massive wound, placed expertly because whether or not you will accept it all the way, you are a Huntress, with all awesomeness that comes with it. A few rose petals blow past as you finish your combo and you angrily turn and blow them all out of the air with your scythe-cannon. 6000 damage to the Steel Eating Tiger +8000 XP
I wasn't certain whether to let you SMASH for this or not, but ultimately decided that with all the SMASH spam lately there's some Curse of Repetition going on here. you still score that sweet 8000 damage marker! Read as: You completely explode the rock and get 1000 overkill damage on the Foundation. +10000 XP
You pay forward for two entities, and then put out an ad on the internet. Hm, you get some hits almost immediately, but it seems like they haven't shown up yet. Odd, usually time dilation kicks in for something like this. +4000 XP
Top. Kek I can't argue with an animation like that. thanks to conversations on the Discord, as opposed to countering, which would've wasted a perfectly good SMASH, you opt to use its power to heal up the Enraged Shepherd. To full. WHOOPS THERE GOES ALL THEIR PROGRESS. (Well done tho, I was thinking about giving you 40K for this smash, maybe a bit more, but the shepherd is, well, at max health when he's at 40K) +17000 XP
Foundation of Suffering. 30000 max health. 30000 current health. Attack: N/A Despite the fancy name, this is literally just a magically enchanted building's foundation. There isn't a whole lot special about it... aside from what it'll be used for. Expansion: 2 round charge, increases health and max health by 10000 each. The foundation seems to... stretch outwards, expanding and filling up more area. Shrine: 6 round charge, transforms the foundation into an elite unit with brand new stats. So this is what it's for... +2000 XP
The Rock is there no longer, so you shoot the closest thing. The Foundation takes 7000 damage even though fleshy shotguns really shouldn't be that effective on concrete. +9000 XP
Well at least he's polite.
Cat Beast summoned, with some of its abilities nerfed damage-wise. You deal 3000 damage to the Steel-Eating Tiger and also inflict Bleeding on it for 4 rounds. Cat Beast will do as you say. +7000 XP
In absence of The Rock, you instead opt to just mine out the rock beneath the rock. 5000 damage to the Foundation. +7000 XP
Ouch, that looked brutal. 8000 damage to the Winged Beast. +10000 XP
That looks uncomfortable. 8000 damage dealt to the Enraged Shepherd. Personally I liked the glitch version better. +10000 XP
You make some Roast Beast quite admirably. It looks delicious even though its made out of steel. 5000 damage. +7000 XP Emerald_Mann levels up: Level 2! Combat Special unlocked: Hard-coded (Advanced) Darkside levels up: Level 1! Combat Special unlocked: 'Sploded (Basic) Con Air levels up: Level 1! Combat Special unlocked: MY Betty (Basic) EoTB: The first thing that happens is that the angry shepherd, grateful for-WHOA THAT TIGER MOVES FAST. There is the sound of crunching metal and tearing steel, and everyone turns to look at the completely wrecked Winged Beast being devoured by the Steel-eating tiger. The Reapers, confused on what to do since there's nothing to eat nearby that isn't a friendly, instead just sort of start digging a hole... While on top of the Foundation. 1500 damage. The enraged shepherd takes talist and sits down in the coffee shop while he and his sheep cash in on the lovely paid-forward deal that emerald set up for them. "I'll be frank, I wasn't entirely sure about coming down here, and I guess I'm still not. All these crazy monsters and demons and machines..." He takes a sip of coffee "I just figured, well, someone's gotta do something, right? Everything's been going horribly ever since that Simumodder fellow showed up. Crops have been dying, cities randomly raided by undead... just last week there was a sudden plague of insects! It wasn't even one type, it was like, a coordinated swarm of every kind of unpleasant bug that exists!" "Thanks for fighting this bugger, it seems I on my own am not really prepared to do so. But I'll keep fighting as long as I can." Hezetor gets removed for inactivity. The Hierophant slams down its staff and a massive wave of energy rolls out in collumns, blasting upwards. It looks like basically all of the PS entities are going to be caught in its path! The Cat Beast smells blood, and blood it will have. As the Steel-eating tiger sits, enjoy its meal there is a yowling and soon the two cats are involved in a... catfight. wow. Okay. Anyways 15000 damage to the Steel-eating tiger. The Foundation puffs itself out, you watch as the concrete seems to... inflate, pushing all of the reapers off of it, and then it flattens out again, much larger than before. Foundation expended. The fire demons all decide to attack something they know they can kill properly, and charge after the reapers. Fire makes this breed of zombies stronger. WHOOPS. Although the reapers do finally get wiped out, the three main fire demons all take 500 damage in retaliatory damage. The Simumodder decides its finally time. Finally time to do something about the artifacts. He takes a small jar out of his pocket and smashes it on the ground. A massive swarm of termites swarms out and dives outwards to all of the artifacts on the battlefield. All artifacts are now at 50% durability and have infested. All future uses of those artifacts will reduce their durability by 10% A pair of +2s flies up JOE and ire's noses. Everything ticks down. Itinerary: Destroy the Simumodder! Destroy the fire monsters! Red Like Roses: 10 / 20 The Obscure: 5 / 15 (+4, JOE, Simu) +1 to JOE +1 to the Author Current Summons Marron watches as her Winged Beast is slain, bits of metal and fabric now strung out around the floor. tc: Well, that's just great. tc: May as well get some scavenge; maybe I could get my own wings... Marron walks towards the body of the Winged Beast, and loots two Wing Frames. While the fabric that once adorned the wings was now gone, it wouldn't be too hard to replace. She then grabs the rotary mechanism that allowed the wings to flap, and notices that it's sparking a little. She picks up the heavy device with both hands, and examines it. tc: Hey, should this be sparking like that- The device explodes in Marron's face, creating a rather large fireball that sends her flying. Her body, after sailing through the air for a few feet, skips and rolls across the ground, leaving her in a less-than-perfect state. She's clearly been burned after that explosion, and there's a bit of blood dribbling down from just above her right eye. That's not to mention the various bruises that might've formed from all the rolling about. Whatever the damage, it looks like she's taken exactly 3 damage; the amount that the Winged Beast would've dealt to her on death, via falling. After mustering the strength to push herself off the ground, Marron takes a bit of time to swear her cute little face off. tc: GAH, gorilla! ARE YOU SERIOUS!? I WAS ACTUALLYgorillaING ENJOYING THAT THING! SURE, IT WAS A gorillaY AND SCARY GIFT FROM GODDAMN gorillaFACE, BUT DID HE REALLY NEED TO MAKE IT SO SHODDY AS TO gorillaING EXPLODE IN MY FACE!? tc: FUUUU- Ette promptly runs over to her sister and wraps her up in her large floofy arms. After a bit of squirming and lashing out, Marron is eventually defused, left more tired and flustered then anything. After a minute simply enjoying the warm hug, she quietly mutters something. [small]tc:... tc: F-Flying is overrated, a-anyway...[/small] Ette offers to patch her up, but she turns her down. The bird, now clearly kinda pissed, summons a horde of LESSER BIRBS. The birds circle around Marron, before all charging in at the same time! She swiftly darts out of the way of all four of them in a single dash, before ripping through literally all of them in a single swing, sending a spray of magenta blood to the floor. Suddenly, an X of those purple-death squares manifests below Marron! She barely manages to get herself out of the way of the blast, but her cloak isn't so lucky, getting blessed with a massive hole. Marron tears off her cloak and casts it to the ground before rushing towards the Hierophant again. She propels herself forward with some back-fired rounds, before firing one round down which manages to launch herself high into the air above the Hierophant! One shot later, and Marron manages to blitz through the air and pass her blade straight through the Hierophant several times with a spinning slash. The bird decides to then break from its typical boss pattern to create DRAMATIC TENSION, and brings its staff down upon Marron! She holds the Nightmarron in front of her, and manages to get into a stereotypical X-sword-but-no-swords sword clash thing. Despite her best efforts, Marron is overpowered and thrown to the ground, another purple square appearing beneath her. Before she can get vaporised, Ette runs in and glomps the Hierophant, interrupting its train of thought and disrupting its spell cast. Marron pushes herself up off the ground, and while Ette is busy giving the world's most distracting hug, she begins to dance around the Hierophant with a melody of slashes and bullet fire! She then manages to stick her scythe in the Hierophant, and runs a full circle around the bird, the blade separating the torso from the legs! Ette stops hugging the bird and proceeds to grab Marron! She then flings her high into the air! From there, Marron fires more rounds downward, boosting herself high into the sky! Once at the apex of her launch, nearing the clouds, Marron switches the Nightmarron into it's spear form, before firing several rounds down towards the earth! Twisting and twirling through the air, Marron's sheer speed allows her to pierce her spear in and out the bird's skull, the blade getting stuck below three feet of dirt. Marron, somehow having stuck the landing, stands upon the Hierophant's torso... and then struggles to rip the spear out of the bird's skull. It takes Ette's help for her to actually dislodge the spear, a burst of magenta spewing forth from the cranial cavity as the bloodstained spear-tip breaks free from the earth! Before leaving the probably-still-alive-given-the-rules-of-DTG bird behind, she loots the corpse and finds a pretty neat railgun. She pumps four rounds from it directly into the bird's chest, before shoving it in the recently-created hole that's in the bird's face. The Hierophant twitches on the ground as Marron rides on Ette's back, away from the bird. Meanwhile, the Cat Beast will use Deepen Wound on the Steel-Eating Tiger! ![]() The Eternal Author ![]() ![]() ![]() Age: N/A Location: The Castle on the Back of a Space Dragon Status: N/A ![]() |
Right, let's not
First: Auth will expend his 20 Charge, the Armour of Royals. Elegant steel armour, reminiscent of a real Knight arrives at Auth's feet. He doesn't put it on, instead laying his hand on its backplate. Black Ink leaps from it into the armour, and it stands up to move. No, this is not the Underknight again. It is something else. Its armour becomes a deep black. No flashy colours or symbols, just moving black armour. Auth spins his wrist, a pair of gears erupt from where its shoulder-blades would be. The armour changes, to become a Police Commissioner's outfit, with an ink specter wearing the stuff. It looks quite a bit like a mechanical officer. Now, this little construct is here to help me. Because I require allies to get anything done. Auth is brutally honest about his lack of Combat Ability. So what did he summon? SUMMONED: The Black Commander: Passives: Slayer of Dragons: Deals 50% more damage to Elites and Bosses. Knight in Shimmering Armour: Start with 2 indestructible AC. Actives: For Queen and Country: Designate one ally "Queen". If the Commander and the Queen attack the same entity, this entity deals Critical Damage. There can only be one Queen on the field at the time. Guardian of the Realm: Double this unit's AC, and then bodyblock for an Ally. Empire's Kingmaker: Designate one ally "King". The King is buffed in some way I'm not sure of, but it probably involves AC. After being summoned, the Black Commander salutes. It picks up an ink-black rifle, before leaning in and taking an expertly placed shot at the Foundation of Suffering. It continues to put pitch-black rifle bullets into the building until the Foundation can't really be used as such. It's quite amusing to watch this Constable taking pot-shots. Meanwhile, Auth kicks back, before Marron's Winged Beast explodes. Dear god! I had better ensure that Marron is alright! Auth appears to forget he's fighting in a war, tending to an enemy combatant. Though, that could also be a part of his master scheme. Marron mentioned when she showed up she was just messing with the AS side for kicks, so when that becomes unfun (or Marron decides she doesn't really want to anymore), Auth may have a platform to persuade her. He doesn't really enjoy fighting his acquaintances. Because Marron is flying through the air, Auth makes a mad dash to catch her. He makes it in time, preventing the hurt from any tumble she does. Auth nearly falls over himself from the impact of Marron falling into his arms. Phew. Marron, are you quite okay? I've got you. Auth gently sets Marron down, so he can check on the damage. There's several quite bad burns, and a cut above her left eye. Ouch. Allow me. Auth reaches into a pocket of his coat, drawing a number of bandages. Hey Ette, could you find me a source of running water? I can't just cover up the burns, I believe they'll still be infected. Auth murmurs to himself that he can still deal with something right then. He takes one bandage, and sweeps Marron's hair back so he can see the wound. You'd think that such creations wouldn't be prone to explosion on failure. That there'd be fail-safes or something... Auth looks sadly at the smoldering ruin. Auth has applied a bandage to Marron's head, and awaits the Water he hopes Ette provides. For the sake of being easy on me, I'll assume she's given it to Auth. Auth tends to the burns, doing what they say to do, cool running water for 15-20 minutes, then cover with sterile bandages etc. etc. Auth helps Marron back up after he finishes, before returning to AS, content with his work. ACTION SUMMARY: The Black Commander is summoned! It attacks the Foundation of Suffering with a pitch-black rifle! Auth heals the damage Marron took from being exploded for some unfathomable reason. SPECIAL ATTACKS: Empty. The Masters of London: Ready! Originally posted on 2017-02-08 19:05:00 -------------------- They say that there's no rest for the wicked, until they close their eyes for good.
As someone wicked, fundamentally, I disagree. One may always repent. I may have done terrible things in the past. That's why I help this coward now. |

+1 BFury, +1 Coffee
Explosive Potential (5/20) [UPGRADE] Just wants to be famous (5/20) --- 'Splodimus simply looks on at the bleeding Steel-Eating Tiger and it's pursuer, the Cat 'Beast'. He wonders if the robotic one was designed to be a counter to the other. To be frank, the Steel-Eating Tiger could also be a counter to the Cat 'Beast', given it's nature with eating metal, thus being properly adapted to eating metal. But you know what can destroy electronics and not organic tissue? Electromagnetic Interference. And the most deadly form of that to robots? An EMP. A massive, familiar-looking EMP device begins falling from a tear in the sky. Upon closer inspection, it's King's Row's EMP, meant to destroy all the Omnics in the area. As it came close to the ground, it intercepts the Cat Beast pursuing the Steel-Eating Tiger, making the beast smack it's head on it and consequently activate the EMP, disabling the Beast and frying the electronics within temporarily. However, instead of walking up and dealing a heavy blow like 'Splodimus normally would do, he... walks up to the Tiger? Okay? "'Ey, I ain't THAT cruel, y'know. While I know's much of 'splosives, I reckon I'se also alright wit' medication. Gotta keep yer crew livin' somehow." And with that, the Steel-Eating Tiger was about to get one of the best meals of it's life. It looked a lot like a stick of dynamite, except white, and with a red cross and circle around it. You could tell it was an explosive from the fuse on top of it. It was also encased in steel, with steel shards littered throughout the payload, with said payload being some sort of volatile, purple healing fluid that spews out raw healing energies that not only remove the awful, awful cuts that may be present around the body, but also make lost limbs regrow perfectly and revitalizes the being it's used on, with little chance of mutation. Regardless of whether or not you trust him, the steel to the Tiger was extremely compelling. 'Splodimus lights the explosive. "Dig in." And of course, hearing that it was free to eat it, devours the healing explosive headfirst. About a second later, it feels a powerful healing sensation envelop it's body, the scratches and broken bones from battle healing so quickly one could say it was instant, and the bloodflow out of the tiger's feet had completely stopped. It was also energized from the excess healing that it was given, giving it the strength to fight back. But as it turns out, 'Splodimus also brought over the derelict EMP for it to eat, dented from the Cat Beast's crash into it, displacing the metal and destroying the inside of the thing, as well as the Beast's head. He hands the derelict weapon over to the Tiger for it to eat to it's leisure. He also laced the weapon with Gold to act as a sauce of sorts. For something to drink, he hands a +1 to the Coffee Shop to get some coffee for the Tiger. It's in a drink dish and everything! Maybe the rarer the metal, the better the meal tastes? It would make sense. I guess this is just to experiment a bit. He also lined the nearby area around the Tiger with the same healing explosives, all lit, and all exploding on the Tiger in order to heal up any more wounds. But while the Steel-Eating Tiger was chewing away at it's latest meal (rather quickly might I add), the Cat Beast was rebooting itself from the EMP, getting it's current bearings, and being unable to properly see or smell the blood of it's target... except for 'Splodimus walking nonchalantly towards it, cracking his knuckles and preparing to do... something... to it. "Now... as for you..." He performs his latest maneuver, 'Sploded (Basic), on the Cat Beast. Whatever metal that was blown off the Cat Beast flew towards the Steel-Eating Tiger to eat. By the end of this maneuver, the Steel-Eating Tiger was ready for action, having finished it's meal and all the health explosives going off. And 'Splodimus, his work done, stares at the battered Cat Beast, seeing when it will leap into action. Originally posted on 2017-02-08 23:30:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. 20 7/20 (+1 from Redstone)
20 1/20 +1 to Battlefury, +1 Darkside (thanks for tiger heals) One of the patrons of the Coffee Shop suddenly decides coffee is too mainstream, and struts over to the Steel-Eating Tiger with a cup of lukewarm coffee, and dumps it down it's gullet. The man adjusts his scarf and beanie, then storms off to find a trend that is suitably non-mainstream. [I intend to use my action to coffee-ify the Tiger without using it's action.] Originally posted on 2017-02-09 20:03:00 |

Primary weapon: X-Corpse Shooter
Secondary weapon: Corpse Piercer Tertiary weapon: Corpse Blaster Armor: NA FVS is not entirely sure if her weaponry counts as artifacts, but either way, she's pissed at the mere CHANCE of them being damaged by the Simumodder's attack. Thus, all of a sudden, she's standing behind him with the Corpse Piercer at the ready, aimed directly at his back and her finger on the trigger. "You're bad." The sheer burn of her comment causes her gun to catch on fire. Apparently, since it's made of the same thing that those zombies from earlier were made of... That makes it stronger, I guess? She then proceeds to pull the trigger... Aaand the Piercer jammed. She pulls again. Jammed still. The gun begins making a weird noise... When she pulls it again, what can only be described as a massive shotgun burst of 30 bullets suddenly blasts out from the end of the Corpse Piercer and straight into the Simumodder. The end of the rifle is ruined now, but slowly regenerating due to the flames overworking the virus...
