Stella takes a moment to rest, falling on her butt. "Freaking crazy purple things. I'm already dealing with one very specific deadly being back at home..." She increases her INTE by 1, and then increases her HP with her remaining point. She suggests for Keiko to start taking points into the Blue Path; that extra healing power could come in handy...

Once she's properly rested, she moves to (L10). Onwards!

Stella seems to ignore the person that just appeared, and turns to face the Emerald Thief Magician. Stella looks at the figure's limp frame, and shows a concerning amount of discomfort. "Hm, maybe we could..." She motions to Keiko. "Miss Keiko, could you help the fallen magi over there? They're probably in pain, and well... I can't really bear to watch it. Besides, they did help us in the end. Maybe we could make another friend." If Keiko refuses to heal the mage, she moves to (H12). Otherwise, she moves to (K6).

She then takes a bit of time to talk with Satsujin. She's stunned dead silent from Satsujin's reaction to hearing about the thing. "...I talk about a deadly creature, and the first thing you want to know is if it can bleed." Stella shrugs. "...Then again, not really surprised that you asked. Which is probably a bad thing. To answer your question, no idea. I've never seen it bleed. I don't think I ever saw it bleed before it became the thing." Satsujin then mentions wanting to go there. She gets a very flat "No. That... thing, it threatens everyone around it. Hundreds of my people have been taken, and when you belong to a race with five digits worth of members left, that's... well..." Stella huffs, and walks off without another word. If her face was capable of turning red, it almost certainly would have.

Satsujin keeps walking. By now, she's gotten to D7. The blood on her body is beginning to dry up... She doesn't trust the situation, though, otherwise she'd have absorbed it all a wee while back.

"...What can I say... some hunters like dangerous prey... and if it can bleed... then I can consider it prey..."

She giggles quietly. Despite the blood on her body beginning to dry up, it begins shifting around her in an unnerving manner.

"...If it has killed so many of your people... then all the more reason to want it dead... and what better to sic on a monster... than another monster...?"

Keiko moves to E12, and heals the Emerald Thief Mage... they get back up on their feet.

"Ugh... owowowowow... that seriously hurt. Ugh. So how goes it, boOOOOOAAAGH!"

It appears this mage did not expect to be woken up from death by Keiko, considering they were firmly on the side of their enemy until something bigger popped up.

"PLEASEDON'TKILLMEIWASONLYWORKINGFORTHEMFORTHEMONEYAAAAAAA-"
"Whoa whoa whoa, could you calm down for a second?"
"But... but you killed my boss and... and you killed Raven, and Katriona, and... (what was his name again? oh yeah.) Edmé, and..."
"Don't worry, kid. You're safe with me now. I'm with them, so they don't have a reason to harm you."
"One of them is covered in blood and killed at least a dozen of my... well, colleagues, and you can say that nonchalantly?!"

...Suddenly, the weird girl warps right next to Keiko, scythe in hand, raised above her head. She has very long, black hair, going all the way down to almost her feet...

"...Die..."

The scythe comes down on Keiko...



...but Keiko grabs the scythe by the outer edge, avoiding the attack completely!

"First off, what do you think you're doing, and second, you do realize that scythes are dull on the outside, right?"

Keiko wrestles the scythe out of the girl's hand, and jumps right to them to slash at them! I can't tell how much damage they did, but it definitely did a lot... it leaves a small scar on their cheek.

"..."

The odd girl teleports away. Keiko puts the scythe in the inventory. You appear to have completed the cutscene.

"...Who was that?!"
"I don't know, though we were going to confront somebody who might know more about both that oddball thing you may have very briefly seen."
"Yeah, that kind of convinces me now. Alright, I guess I'll join you guys."

Because Aegis has joined your party, Aegis gains 3 Skillpoints to catch up! Ally Growths have now been placed in a seperate sheet on the document...

Pannenkoek warps back in through parallel universes, next to Aegis.

"Welcome to the party! We're here to see why Lyra does what she does, discover ways to do things that are usually impossible, discover new impossible things, build up speed for twelve hours, and stuff like that. But mainly the first one."

He warps again to Satsujin, but not too close.

"I suggest that you equip that weird hat, and also the Scythe of Purgery. The hat seems to be a good lifesteal item, and the damage possibilities for the alt-fire are ridiculous."

"Aegis!" Stella calls out to the mage, before gently smiling, and greeting her with a warm and inviting voice; or as least, as open as she can possibly make herself sound... which actually sounds somewhat earnest. "Welcome to the team. I'm sorry for the loss of your colleagues, but... I hope we can make it up to you in some way."

"I know this won't make up for much... but here." Stella passes the girl/boy (you actually didn't give any clarification of gender, ) the cup of tea from the inventory. "It's just a bit of tea. Helps with the nerves. Drink up." She then tosses out a block of wood, which she promptly manipulates into a chair for the mage.

Stella takes a seat on the ground and yawns, before promptly casting a strange spell on herself. Blue light glows from her body, and she seems somewhat rejuvenated. "Anyway, we should be soldiering onwards soon enough. If you need to talk to someone, then just come to me, alright?" She also suggests for Aegis to invest her Level Points into Blue. Her magical damage will be important.

Satsujin turns and stares at Pannenkoek, tilting her head a little, then glances into the inventory for a moment or two.

"...I cannot see the stats..."

She seems to be a little wary of <Armor 1>, but slowly puts it on nonetheless. At the same time, she pulls out the Scythe of Purgery, sliding her hands along the handle as if getting a feel for the weapon. With both items equipped, she pauses, then slowly walks over to G3 while absorbing the blood from her body.

Well, looks like we're done and good here, thanks to Satsujin moving to G3. Let's get on with the actual update.

[1] Satsujin rips <Armor 1> off of Urken and equips it. Satsujin also equips the new scythe Keiko just "got". Satsujin loses 3% Crit Chance, 4% Dodge Chance, and 4% Accuracy that was given with their old hat, and their neat 25% Lifesteal from their old weapon.
[2] Urken promptly welcomes Aegis to "The Murder Party"... you really aren't good with introductions, are you? (PROTIP: Your actions here will effect Aegis.)
[3] Pannen gives Aegis a quick rundown of the party's intended purpose...

"What is a 'Lyra'?"

...Aegis probably doesn't know what a Mindscape is, either. Keiko... probably knows, given the circumstances, but Aegis looks rather blind to the world. You should ease him in easy, lest you make a bad screw-up.
[4] Stella actually tries to patch up relations by giving Aegis the tea. They seem to like the effort... Aegis is, for the most part, probably calm enough to advance.

"...I'm... I'm a guy. Uh... was that a bit hard to tell? Was it the clothes? It was probably the clothes."

Either way, that's a wrap, see you all in Season 2!

Description: A heavily enchanted ashandarei. (13-14) Base Damage. 0 Retreat, 2 Range. WEAPON SKILL: Precision Cut. Select an enemy at the beginning of your turn. This turn, you cannot move. Deal 20% of that enemies Max HP (10% on elites, 5% on bosses), and give it Bleed +1 (2-5) for 3 turns. Can't miss

Uh... I'd recommend doing the Season 1 Phantasm stage right now. Not because it will be comparatively easy, but so we can regain our footing in design terms.

I'm also just gonna savestate here in case. I'm going to investigate this myself and try to undo this mess as clean as possible...

In short: Everybody gains +6 Levels, including NPCs, and a free Mystic Crate (4 Star item) at the cost of a heavily increased difficulty curve.
