That Moldlarg looks like it could be a huge problem. Time to fix that.

Verdana reaches out, Gravity-elemental energy swarming around the Moldlarg and squashing inwards, forcing it into an immobile spherical form. He then grins, snapping his fingers, causing the entire battlefield to turn dark. So dark... the darkness... it's... growing...

...

Moldlarg is thrust into a player position. It blinks in surprise, then wanders upwards seeing as there's nowhere else to go. Shortly, it encounters what appears to be a patch of the darkness that is EVEN DARKER. Photon readings negative, even... something is very much not right here. Suddenly, Verdana's grin emerges from the darkness, and warning lights begin blaring. Sadly for Moldlarg, it can't move. Something is holding it in place. A suicidal feeling, only now emerging? Gravity, once again, immobilizing it? Who knows? Nobody.

Nobody except Verdana, who for whatever reason, has decided to turn into... well... ugh. Description time.

Firstly, out of the negative photons, a massive arm, clad in a red sleeve, reaches out, slamming down on one side of Moldlarg. It appears to be made almost entirely of blood-red crystals, patches of barely-recognizable white flesh threaded throughout the sharpest fragments of the arm. An almost-identical arm, only the other direction, slams down on the other side of Moldlarg. The hands of both arms clench, balling up into fists adorned with an arrangement of jagged crystal, threads of white flesh, and strongly-glowing blue/red power auras. Out from roughly where the shoulders should be, a pair of supermassive coiling cables of intertwined steel and crystal rocket out, endlessly roping out to an unseen location within the darkness. The next thing to emerge from the negative photon darkness is Verdana's visage, twisted into a horrifying grin stretching past both where-his-ears-would-be-points, and yet further. His jaw distorts, crystal structures rocketing forward, into an extension of his own mouth, only made more horrific as his face seems to disintegrate, replaced by a rolling mass of blood-red crystal. A pair of gigantic wings erupt out to both sides of the body of the beast, red glows intersecting between massive bone-like connections, accompanied by at least three other pairs of progressively smaller wings further along. Lastly, where Verdana's Trigger would be, if this beast could be considered him, there is now just more of the darkness, arranged into the rough shape of a Trigger. And then, the darkness... turns red. There is now a giant clusterfuck of blood red crystal, pale dead flesh, metal, darkness, and god knows what else, staring down at the Moldlarg.

OH, YOU ARE SO IN FOR IT! I DON'T EVEN NEED SIX SOULS TO DO THIS SHIT! UNLIKE THAT WEAK PISSPILE, FLOWEY... AND TO THINK, ONCE, I ACTUALLY WAS AFRAID OF HIM. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THAT! I OUTRANK EVERYTHING HE COULD EVER HOPE TO BE! AND NOW... I SHALL SHOW YOU! DIE.

With an almost demonic laughter, Photoshop Verdana proceeds to unload a vicious barrage of attacks - fireball spam, thunder bursts, gravity pulses, a frickin laser beam, throwing the world around him about like a ragdoll, slamming gigantic portions of his eldritch body down on Moldlarg... it'd take at least a decade to list everything he uses to proceed to utterly tear the Moldlarg a new poop hole. Moldlarg proceeds to immediately die, because... come on, Photoshop Verdana. That's not something anything a mere mook could possibly hope to deal with, even when temporarily forced into a protagonist position. And then Photoshop Verdana breaks out the SAVE and LOAD abuse just to keep tormenting Moldlarg over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over...


Everyone else, meanwhile, is staring at Verdana as he's busting a set of impressive disco moves on a dance floor that popped out of nowhere. EVERYONE. Even those who don't actually have eyes to stare with. Because, let's face it. Those are some impressive disco moves. It almost makes up for the list of atrocities he's committed thus far.

Battlefury, you can take one of these rewards for killing Imperious:
A: The Empress's Crown: A four turn charge special that allows you to prevent most entities from attacking you during the EoTB.
B: Seadweller's Emblem: Permanent Nautical tag, resistance to mind control effects, as well as a 10% crit chance.

Battlefury, you also can take a dog related reward for your 130k damage attack that nearly finished off the Tainted King:
A: Stave of Dog: A level five alchemy that always inflicts Mark of Dog.
B: Psi Glove: A glove, similar to the dogmodding glove, with the Psi Emblem. Provides a 20% chance to inflict a stack of Mark of Dog onto an enemy.

It remade the item with the same form, but different abilities. The example I gave was Resonance (a katana with immense power over Air and Sound) ~~ Water = Pulse (still a katana, but with power over Water and perhaps Sonar??). As a result, these alchemies had a slightly reduced charge time. A different one which Tazz made, which is based off mine (IIRC), had a similar, but opposite effect: It would keep the abilities of the alchemy, but change the form of it, again with a slightly reduced charge time. I suggest the latter, the Reformatter, be added as an alchemy upgrade.

You heal yourself for 4 HP, and avoid dog damage. I'll tell NumberSoup to add the Reformatter as an option to the poll soon, but assuming Topaz's same refers to a vote for the Reformatter, that's two votes for it.

The Ocean of Dog begins to churn up dog, creating a Slime Dog out of Moldlarg's remains. The FWY-Mech is unbanned from existing, not that it mattered too much as that was just a gesture of salt. The Summoning Stone becomes vulnerable, and creates a Temmie. Just a temmie. Nothing will possibly go wrong due to the existence of Tem. Dog harms non Dog, non Noah entities.

The Splinter Flagship fires at Maria, who takes 6 damage. Normally, the Splinter Flagship would be ultra dead due to having 90,000 recoil dropped on it, but Maria decides to be nice, and simply spread that out through all AGs excluding the Flagship. This deals 11,250 damage to all AGs, translating to 3 player HP. Sorodin's body is destroyed, and alongside it, the Crystal Golem. A few other AGs are put on one HP. She also paints a giant bullseye on the Flagship. VerdanaMustDie and Execution stab Chris-Chan for 20,000 damage. insteunt deaf deals 2 damage to Verdana while the Temmie and Slime Dog deal another 10,000. demonologist snipes him into the Ocean of Dog, where his flesh is consumed by liquid dog, and is digested, ready to be thrown up as a new dog. It's a new form of recycling, apparently. Punchy commits suicide due to the godlike Major of CWCVille being dead.

The Tainted Goombas would murder Chris-Chan, but go for the next best thing, and choke Ebony for 15,000 damage. The Mecha Terrors chow down on Execution for 4 damage, Ebony fires at demonologist for 2 damage, and Sorodin for 1, as he is shredded to pieces, no instant deaf required. The Mob Abomination gobbles up 75 Tainted Goombas, and becomes significantly more Goomba-like, while Wo-Class Kai fires at the Summoning Stone for 4,000 damage. Maria is proud of her carefully applied recoil, and instead decides to heal herself for 10 HP to compensate for being a glass cannon.

Alicia likes the feeling of having a boss destroy the field, as well as motivating her to be much more savage. After savouring that thought and feeling for a few seconds, she idles and gives a +4 to Verdana.

Noah activates the Hyperdeath Emblem, then stares at the Splinter Flagship, which should now be uninvincible. He looks at himself, then back at it, then back at himself, then back at it.

Sadly, he is not it, but if he uses Old Spice and not lady scented bodywash, he can smell like it.

Noah douses himself in Old Spice, which immdiately makes him smell like the Splinter Flagship. The odor floats towards the flagship and somehow reaches it's suddenly existent nostrils. The Splinter Flagship is overcome with the smell of a fellow Splinter Flagship and starts gliding towards Noah.

Blinded by it's earlier damage, it completely misses the fact that Case By Equinox exists, the fact that it's in Noah's hand, and the fact that it is heading straight for it. The Splinter Flagship heads into Case By Equinox, then quickly runs into Sol. Oops.

First, i take the Psi-glove, and edit it.
Psi-Dog Glove: Minicrits on a foe with Mark of dog. 10% of crit. Upon crit, if enemy is not a boss, shift dogmark to Psi-Dogmodder variation.
i then take the seadweller thingy.
Also, Maria took 7 damage last round, or one mark of dog's worth.

At any rate, i think its time for a BEETdown.
A massive, hulking giant made of beets comes out of thin air. It begins by firing massive amounts of beets at Maria. They turn out to be sugar beets, and break on her skin. Nothing happens...

..Until it turns out the sugar beets are full of semi-liquidated sugar. All those beets combined stickyness trap her in place. The remaining sugar, except for the sugar making her immobile LE VANISH.

The Beet Giant then proceed to summon multiple Beet Elementials. Although they are tough, they managed to do nothing more than badly bruise her. When she kills one, however, multiple beets fly at her, exploding in a burst of oblivion magic that somehow does not destroy the other beets. The beetelementals, meanwhile, are easily taken out, primarily because this is a c-rate subplot in this grandoise attack.

I quickly dash at Maria, and impale her upon a spear, composed from light. I then summon what looks like a fireball, but packs the heat and power of a tiny star. Multiple of those fly at her. The sheer light emitted from them renders null her darkness: After all, how do you intend to hide in the darkness...

WHEN THERE IS NONE?

I then summon a Divine Avenger from thin air. I create more of the small suns, and infuse it with fire and another sword. The weapon created is quite powerful: Multiple segments seperated by pure fire from the sun, a blinding light is emitted from its sun silver blade.

Multiple segments fly out and slice and dice Maria, whilst burning her very core with the wrath of the sun.

I then proceed to channel a great amount of heat and flame into a rather large orb of heat, wroth, and the power of the sun. The resulting power nova repeatly slams into her, before absorbing a massive amount of mass for a suicide attack, and then slamming into her, nailing her to the ground.

Battlefury13: Not done just yet.

A omniponet diety somewhere shrugs. An immense amount of heat, power, and raw energy flows into me, and all around me becomes unliveable, as everything melts, and reality distorts.

And then, the sky goes black.

As a massive wave of heat and energy is unleashed, melting Maria easily. The heat spreads outward, burning everything in its path, or just plain destroying it.

battlefury13: who let the dogs out

Everyone notices a dog cage. Pouring from it are millions of dogs, ready to do their duty to the Doggerland. All those in their way are surely doomed to fall.

Millions of sharp dog claws begin their attack on Maria. They trip her over, and promptly begin to claw her into shreds, mauling her to hell and back. Dog giants rise, and begin punching her harder.

Meanwhile, the dogs begin to build zerg-like buildings atop the Ocean of Dog. From those buildings, they produce dozens of Terroreirs- horrible, black, armored giants. They fly to Maria, and knock her into the air. Higher and higher they fly, as she is beaten to death and back by their mightly claws.

And then they turn upside-down.

They continue to maul Maria, ripping off her head and demolishing her body multiple times, again and again.

Until she crashes into the earth, flatten her. She, of course regenerates, as she is not dead.

The Worlds Cutest Dog walks up to Maria. Somehow, it has 1000% dodge rate. It easily dodges every attack on it, and as it reachs Maria, stares into her eyes.

5 seconds later, she is clutching her head, and the dog is gone.

Her mind is flooded with dog as memorys are overwrit, replaced, and destroyed by the rampaging dog, destroying and consumering everything in her mind.

The dog floods her mind with more dog, which floods her mind with more dog, which.... *endless loop*

Eventually, the Dog destroys her mind, crushing it, and replacing it with a dog, as well as badly traumatizing her due to the power of dog

Noah, who theoretically should have 75'000 research at this point, uses the knowledge he had gleaned from cherrytapping mobs to up his HP by 5.

[I have been told that the amount required to increase my health increases as I gain health this way. Chances are I will be using the Research more often on Entities or the ~ATH code than directly to myself.

Noah takes the +1 Armor, +1 HP and the +1 Tainted Armor. I think this reward system is really cool though.

After all of that progression, Noah stares at the Summoning Stone and wonders whether it is sentient. Regardless whether it is or not, he places a maths book in front of it.
The first page is trigonometry. The second is algebra using fractional and negative indices. He pushes is slightly closer, egging it on to do it. Regardless of whether it is sentient or not, the feels/memories of a hundred other DTgers trying to balance homework with free time hit it in the face like a sack of bricks, and it gave up.

Not that you really see a sack of bricks all that often. Bricks are generally hard to carry.

Verdana dramatically stares up a few posts at Noah's earlier attack, utterly shitting all over the concept of the 5th wall in order to do so. He narrows his eyes.

The True Asshole.

For some reason, a remix of Battle Against A True Hero is playing in the background, contrasting wildly with what Verdana could possibly be described as. Too bad there isn't an actual remix called Battle Against A True Asshole, because if there was, I'd probably poot it here. Guess you'll just have to settle for, IDK, a metal remix of the song? He glances over at the rather generous +4 Alicia just gave him... and cracks a near-demonic grin.

Also, funny you should mention time travel, Battlefury. Look back at one of the things I did on the VERY FIRST PAGE. Heh.

In the section of time known to us as the EoTB of Post 785, a portal suddenly opens right in the middle of Splinter Flagship's attack. Verdana stumbles out of the portal, holding his head with his eyes shut tight. He lands nearby, interrupting a chunk of the attacks from both AG and PG entities alike, slowly opening his eyes to take a look at the world around him. Everything nearby... he's already seen it before. He knows what he came here to do. Staring up at the Splinter Flagship, his eyes suddenly flash a dark blue.

Hello! I'm here to KILL YOU. Now... DIE.

He throws back his head and laughs as a set of metal chains rocket out from the ground, forming a spiral out of links, then lashes forth, grabbing the Splinter Flagship out of the place where it rests and dragging it over to Verdana, causing it to crash into the ground directly in front of him. He smirks at it, snapping his fingers, the pressure of Gravity skyrocketing and pressing down on the Flagship. Heavily damaged as the ship is, it suddenly cracks apart, then collapses inwards on itself, the crew inside being compacted down with it. When all that is left is a pile of splinters (no, not the size of the original set), he then relents a little, dispersing the chains, and turns around to walk off. But then, he notices something. The flagship... It's still alive. With just a sliver of health.

He immediately rectifies the problem by blasting it with copious levels of Oblivion-element energies.

Once the flagship is dead, he turns back to the place where he came from, and is about to travel back into what would relatively to this update be the future, when he ends up finding that someone is standing in his way. He growls, and lashes out, trying to get the blocker to move aside. The person in the way grins at him, blocking the strike with ease via a wrist grab, and throws out a punch of their own. Verdana catches this punch, as if he knew exactly what was going to happen, then takes a good long look at the person who would dare stand against him like this.

Verdana is thus very confused when he realizes that he's staring at Verdana.

He lands nearby, interrupting the attacks of EVERYONE right in the middle of the Splinter Flagship's attempt to fire, and strikes a heroic pose, bearing his hoodie-covered chest out for everyone to envy.

BEWARE, EVILDOER, FOR YOU NOW FACE THE WRATH OF THE GLORIOUS CHAMPION, VERDANA! THIS IS THE HOUR OF YOUR DEFEAT! I SHALL PERSONALLY SEE TO IT THAT YOU SHALL PAY DEARLY FOR EVERY SINGLE MISDEED YOU AND YOUR CREATORS HAVE DARED TO COMMIT IN THIS FINE LAND!

Heroically, Verdana proceeds to swirl his cape once more, throwing one hand upwards, causing Earth pillars to rise up into the sky, impaling the splinters of the evil construct known as the Splinter Flagship. It desperately, futilely, tries to fly away like the cowardly villainous scum that it knows it is, but the act is futile, for Verdana had predicted that this would happen! He gestures around himself, the pillars expanding outwards, pushing aside the splinters of the Splinter Flagship, slowly but surely tearing it into fragments, before gesturing downwards, the pillars rocketing into the ground, assisted by the force of Gravity. The Flagship dies. Time shatters. While there were many, fortunately non-doomed, alternate timelines, this event causes them to converge. This is when the Narrative must act.

Alternate timelines shall never meet. That is an essential truth of this world. Timelines with severe changes, when exposed to the Alpha version of Fiction can heavily corrupt it. This is one of the few points that the Narrative and Conflict agree on, and when that happens, your actions are doing something wrong. A green flash appears in the sky and out appears the First Guardian of Universe B, Minecraftia.

Distorted copies. Doomed timelines cascading into beta timelines, and destroying both. A tiny, but still possible risk of the alpha timeline being corrupted by your actions. As such, I feel that is safe to punish you somewhat for your actions.

Normally, they would crystallise, and reform with in a turn. The crystals this time, glow with a green aura, before the [big]THE OPERATOR[/big] leaves. You have been Overkilled, mercifully for you, just for a single turn. Use this time to RP, and not break time and space, perhaps. If it wasn't for the sheer instablity of the timewarp, and the fact that you described the breaking of reality, you probably could have gotten away from that with a single time space anomaly and paradox roll.

Honestly, from a completely OOC perspective, I'm probably the only GM that would have allowed this amount of time and space screw. Anyway, this hasn't broken the game that much, for temporal distortion. I'm just using this as an opportunity to set up future plot points and entities. What it has broken, however, is AscensionCraft.

The destruction of the Flagship has caused most things on the Flagship to die, and Chaos' Favourite Chair to fall to the Battlefield, and take 30,000 damage.

The Summoning Stone has also been adversely effected, and summons a Time Elemental. The Envoy of Dog starts its existence by stabbing insteunt deaf for 15,000 damage. He doesn't inflict Mark of Dog, just yet. Chaos' Favourite Chair deals 15,000 mini-critical damage to Wo-Class Kai. VerdanaMustDie is going to make the sin list a reality due to recent events, but destroys I-Class Kai anyway. He also begs for votes. AliciasExecution stabs a Mecha Terror Spider for 1 damage, while insteunt deaf stabs the Tainted Goombas, destroying 50 of them in a single slash. Temmie, who is perfectly innocent stretches out and chokes Ebony for 8,000 damage, while the Slime Dog throws a slimeball at the Mob Abomination for 8,000 damage. demonologist eyes Maria yet again.

demonologist mutters something, and Maria catches on fire, taking 2 damage. Darkness chokes demonologist, and she also takes 2 damage. The Tainted Goombas, without orders, rush the Slime Dog for 4 damage. The Time Elemental deals 1 damage to the Slime Dog, before locking it in its own timeline. This seems to stablise some of the temporal anomalies, for now.

The Mecha-Terror Spiders rush the Summoning Stone for 16,000 damage. Ebony, who has taken to the role of support like a fly to air, speeds up Wo-Class's ship thing generation. The Mob Abomination activates The Horde. Flesh lands on the ground, and begins to grow into Zombies, before many, many march, under the control of Alicia. Wo-Class Kai summons an Abyssal Fighter, and Dive-Bomber. The Fighter strikes sunnyau for 2 damage, while the Dive Bomber Kai strikes insteunt deaf for 8,000 damage, converted to splash for 1 damage to AliciasExecution and Temmie. The Zombies rush the Summoning Stone for 5,000 damage. Maria stabs demonologist for 9 damage. She considers taking out the platform, but doesn't want to incur the wrath of SONG. She then chats to her teammates.

I take sin of the knowing, having passive evasion is awesome, especially since that'll boost my evade/block chances later on when I get to the point of having to evade large attacks.
Also, perhaps we should spoiler the yeah no it's freaking immortal the Fortress in the world updates? It's not important to combat right now, and it takes up a lot of space.

Noah begins coding. He reache- //6$$,qkt@jk//-ically increasing vulnerability to his ~ATH by creating a second ~ATH based entirely around the 'death' of the first ~ATH and a third ~ATH which was a copy of the first but with the ~ATH condition being the second ~ATH.

So now we have 3 ~ATH files.
1. Procs when Noah dies. Executes last_words.
2. Procs after 1. Executes memento().
3. Procs after 2. Executes last_words.

memento() would highly reduce the defence of the target for 2 ticks. Fortunately, 3. triggers instantly.

The Verdana of what we could consider the "correct" timeline, so to speak, is rather bewildered when, after getting killed, he doesn't just regenerate from it like he expected to. Instead, he finds himself with quite a splitting headache, and immediately takes a look around in confusion. He's found himself in the middle of a bar of some kind, which seems surprisingly un-crowded. There's a few very strange people hanging around, even a pair of skeletons, and there seems to be a Fire Elemental of some kind running the place, but Verdana's attention goes onto only one occupant of the bar.

Someone who just so happens to look remarkably like himself. Only, this person has black hair, black glasses, green eyes, a blue hoodie, and a slightly more golden-yellow Trigger on his back. He looks up, and beckons Verdana over. Once the two are seated at the same table, he cracks his fingers a little.

"So. You're here now. Good. It'd have been a nuisance had you been sent to any of the other afterlifes. Especially if it was the one that I personally feel you should have been sent to. You know, that really gray one, which the name of seems to have escaped me?"
Where the hell are we?
"Put simply, we're at Grillby's. In a more complicated manner of speaking, we're in a form of afterlife that coincidentally happens to rather closely resemble Grillby's. I requested you end up here because I wanted to have a chat with you about... what you just did."
