Attacking the Summoning Stone was legal last turn. The creeper and the stone should now be PG, but not the presummoned entitites. It still has 5 lives though.
5/10 Gold 'n' Loot (+1) 6/15 I guess it's about this time that I should explode. +1 to piono, darkside, ire Gah, I can't actually reliably post twice per dop. Noah plays got your nose with B1NARY. He tears off his nose or nose-analogue with terrifying brutality, then throws the nose back at the guy. Wow, Noah quickly tires of this game and chucks the nose/nose-analogue into a well nearby. Adding onto this array of really small and annoying injuries, Noah creates a path of stairs down to the well- finely tuned to make sure that every time you walked up another step, you are GUARANTEED to stub your toe. B1NARY, delirious thanks to his nose-loss, chases after the nose and as expected, finds himself at the base of the well. He goes back up, only to get about 60 stubs toes/toe analogues. 6/10 Gold 'n' Loot
7/15 I guess it's about this time that I should explode. +1 to piono, darkside, ire A blud of colours- especially yellow, begins to blink across the battlefield. A high-pitched noise briefly drowned out the Music Hell for exactly 1.58 seconds. It probably could be music; just played waaaay too fast to tell. Was it your imagination? Who knows. Given the insane speeds this (person/thing) is travelling at, it/they are impossible to see. For the purposes of this attack, lets slow this down. A girl holding a golden lute starts sprinting around B1NARY, facing him. As she runs, her fingers pluck the strings like it was an intrument she had been playing all her life. The wind whipped at her hair and her lrgs acted almost independently to the rest of her body. Then... the music. The properties of the magical lute had somehow allowed her to to play the whole array of sounds. Every step taken, every note strung, B1NARY's lifeforce was cut through like a scythe would through barley. The golden lute's innate powers over death would leave gashes that would never really heal. 1.58 seconds since the song started, B1NARY suddenly found that a chunk of his HP had pretty much been surgically removed with precision tools. The girl dashed off into the distance at x120 tempo, none the wiser to her actions. Originally posted on 2016-05-11 11:00:00 |

Alright, since that's over with, let's see... ooo, next song is Collective Consciousness. Well now... I like where this is going.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dPaVk4G1jg Something seems to be going on with the stage, as the lights darken, the entire stage rising into the air, the ground trembling as it rises. Slowly, surely, an arrangement of 6 GIGANTIC mechanical legs reach out to each side, parts of the stage unfolding into a pair of supermassive blade-limbs, the stage now resembling a scarily-accurate recreation of Metal Gear EXCELSUS. Verdana, just barely visible on the stage, way up in the sky, lets out a loud, echoing, deep laughter across the entire battlefield, a volume loud enough to shake the ambient players on the server to the very core. There's a strong blue glow in the air around him as he begins to sing the third song. The unenlightened masses, they cannot make the judgement call Give up free will forever, their voices won't be heard at all Display obedience, while never stepping out of line And blindly swear allegiance, let your country control your mind! LET YOUR COUNTRY CONTROL YOUR SOUL The weaker-willed among the ambient players shudder internally, feeling their minds start to fog up. They just can't explain what's going on yet, although they do seem to be starting to lose focus on all but the song... Verdana notices this, and grins as he continues. Live in ignorance, and purchase your happiness! When blood and sweat is the real cost, thinking ceases, the truth is lost! Don't you worry, you'll be told exactly what to do! I give my people the lives they need! The righteous will succeed! By now, even the normally more mentally-sharp players are feeling the strain on their minds, power growing with every second that passes by. The weak-willed players shudder and let out a faint groan as a blue light seems to fill their eyes, their combined bodies falling limp all at once, startling the very few players who still have their wits about them. Someone finally catches onto what Verdana is doing, but it's too late, as that someone's eyes glow blue, and all thought of warning or rebellion cuts off. The fires of greed will BURN THE WEAK! So we'll make freedom OBSOLETE! MAKING WHOLE, the FABRIC of SOCIETY, Collective Consciousness controlled, AS YOU WILL SEE! As the background reverbs of LET YOUR COUNTRY CONTROL YOUR SOUL echo, the sound bouncing around the battlefield, the players with glowing blue eyes turn and start to march forth, disturbing the tiny number of people who yet remain unaffected. As the last remnants of resistance crumble beneath Verdana's song, he lets out the cackling laughter of an absolute madman. Noticing that there's just one player in the crowd remaining that seems to be immune to his influence, Verdana teleports the player up to him, then grabs direct hold of the player's neck, lifting them into the air and forcibly entering their mind, breaking their ability to resist. And also rendering them uselessly dumb. He frowns, then shrugs and decides to devour said player bite by bite instead. Once done with that, he closes his eyes and inhales deeply, opening his eyes again to resume staring down at the everything. He needs to keep the song going, keep his will being enforced... The unenlightened masses... (song repeat) By the end of the second verse, he quite securely has a huge section of the server playerbase firmly under his control. Grinning, with blood still dripping from his teeth, he points at the Splinter Flagship, forcing the huge army of mind-controlled players to surge forth like a horde of zombies, tearing into it with whatever they have on hand - swords, axes, bows, fishing rods, their own fists, FISH... It doesn't matter. All that matters to them is that they do what the voice wills them to. And that, is something they can do very well. Charges: Eating People (EXPENDED THIS TURN to heal Verdana) It Has To Be This Way: 9/15 (+2 from Alicia) Project SHADOW: 4/12 (+2 from Alicia, +1 from Piono) +3 to Piono Originally posted on 2016-05-11 13:56:00 -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. 15 store credit to Alicia for the spire, although it would be appreciated if instead she could drop me finished beast buildings, if she can do that, I can drop the stats for the monsters upon completion.
I finish Aurora's Longshot. 1 stored charge 5/15 for aerial beasts. 4/15 for a spare charge. (I like being able to use the convenient nope button. I won't chain 'em together to make a single 100 post charge or something crazy though if you don't want me to. The Fortress is probably enough on its own.) +1 to engie, toast and battlefury. Eric shakes his head a little bit and steadies himself. "Hello demonologist, thanks for the help, although I'm very impressed at you getting out here so fast. Anyways. I'm about to break some things." Eric then runs forward, aims Aurora's Longshot down, fires it, launching himself into the air, rising upwards. The sun glints against him with a nice lens flare, he prepares a volley-ball serve. Guess what he's using? "INSTANT DEATH MOTHER GORILLAS!!!" The gravitational core smashes the beastmaster into the ground with enough force to kill him even if it DIDN'T have gravity powers. That was a bit overkill on the wind magic. "Shut up." ((Consumer: I'd like to say, another thing you do much better in this game than most of the other games have done is Spoils. The Spoils are actually USEFUL here. In the other games they boost your attack damage a little bit, but here they can turn the tide of a fight if used strategically (and if you're not losing the fight by too much). But that's something the Spoils can't do in 2, 0 or Terraria.)) Spoiler Alert Originally posted on 2016-05-11 15:56:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...

I may start waiting for more people to post before updates, partly because the EoTB feels like much more work than the player responses, which I'd prefer the other way around, and partly because it's nice being able to relax over the evening due to not updating.
As explained by Toast below, you should indeed have that. Sorry about that, and fixed.
You deal 5 damage to B1NARY, who gives you a death stare for ripping off his nose.
Picture of "Her" && HD Camera = 'Her' Camera (Level 0: 1/1) A camera themed around light blue and white. While all of the pictures are tainted with heavy amounts of godmoddding energy, you can make out one, that appears to be a screenshot of a document written in light blue writing. Hello, Spongebawb. I did tell you not to try and alchemise these sets of items. I don't like them, and let's say that 'She' hasn't been reacting very well to them. Who would, if you tried to find out who they were without you telling them, For your own safety, both from me, and Her, stop. You have been warned. You deal 3 damage to B1NARY.
You deal 6 damage to B1NARY, before he throws the sickle at the girl, and pierces straight through her. He is not very happy with you.
You don't have enough range to get most players, but you do drag out a large portion of players from the Fortress, and savage the Splinter Flagship for 24,000 damage. Alicia is proud of the sheer amount of mind-control. **Unknown triplequestionmarks: Is that Verdana? **Unknown triplequestionmarks: We have a sin list, right? **Unknown triplequestionmarks: Add that to the list of his sins.
The Swordsman decides to be extremely cheap and take the slam dunk, being flattened under Gravcrush. You take 3 recoil damage. Alicia would drop you fully charged beast buildings, but the Narrative stops her from getting too much credit. I allow Spoils to be a lot stronger due to having recoil damage, but yeah. Spoils usually provide minicrits in most other DTG games, short bursts of massive damage, and temporary summons of invincible entities, although the last one is mainly DTG2. I try to vary this out. [END OF TURN BATTLE] Loyalty, Splintered and Music Hell wear off. Spade stabs the Splinter Flagship for 30,000 critical damage. stevei, while neglecting to activate his special, stabs the Summoning Stone for 15,000 HP of damage, while B1NARY chops off Noah's nose for 3 damage. The Summoning Stone glows with energy, before summoning a Skeletal Dragon under Verdana's control. The AGs likely want the Crystal back fast. The Magical Orb lasers a Mecha-Terror Spider for one damage. The Flagship instagibs the Magical Orb, assuming that's what Battlefury meant. Tracer's Dodge wears off, before she double fires at Chris-Chan for 12,000 damage and two Pulse Bomb stacks. The Mecha Terror Spiders both ram the Flagship for 16,000 damage. Ebony grins like a sadist, and uses a horribly misspelt version of Crucio to inflict two Agony stacks to stevei. Chris-Chan activates Transformation. Everybody who knows Sonichu in the server prepares to cringe, as a single, hellish message is seen in the chat, "ELECTRIC HEDGEHOG POWER!!!" Blue and white light emanates from Chris-Chan, as everything on the Battlefield is blinded, before blue fur grows on Chris-Chan, and he changes into a Sonic recolour. Not just any Sonic recolour, but a Sonic recolour with the features of a Pikachu. Transformation is permanently locked, Chris-Chan is now Chris-Chan Sonichu, and gains an extra 50,000 HP in addition to added power. He starts off with his new found power by doing the following commands, Sonichu style: "*SPIN DASH*" "*SLAM*" He runs into the Flagship, dealing 15,000 damage and giving it Paralysed. As it is a boss, that just makes it deal less damage. The Creeper and Skeletal Dragon preform a team attack on the Flagship for 10,000 damage. Alicia is proud of the lively state of the Flagship, but decides to leave it for Verdana to kill personally. In the meantime, she gives Verdana a +2, before taking 'Her' Camera from Spongebawb's inventory, and taking a selfie with him. Unfortunately, Alicia does not want Spongebawb in the picture, so she uses godmodding to take him out of the picture. Taking him out of the picture somehow translates to taking him out of existence. Spongebawb killed. She sets the camera down next to him, godmodding energy making most of the pictures turn into incomphrensible messes compared to blurry messes. In the Fortress: demonologist stabs two Flame Draconic Beasts. The remaining three Hostiles use their respective forms of attack to deal 4 total damage to Piono. Working together can indeed be helpful. In the Flagship: Noir inspects the Chair troops. You know what they say about assuming. He points his hand at the Floating Hand, and it bends to his will, choking the Corrupted Captain to death, before exploding in a blast of generic energy. He does not invoke Glitch Hell, as these foolish chairs are not worthy enough for it, according to him. The Corrupted Saber idles for know, but guards Noir. The Divine Destroyer remembers to be dead. 8/10 I guess it's about this time that I should explode. +1 to piono, darkside, ire Violin Bow (the thing you would use to play the violin) && Steel Sword = The Artisan's Blade - (Level ? - 1/?) @Piono, Would I be able to use the Scythe of Prevention with some of my store credit? Upgrades (I hope) 1/15 Flagship orders: Focus Chris-Chan, use all three specials, triple splinter targeting Chris-Chan, Ebony Way, and stevei because blatant ripoff airship. What do you mean, Corrupted Airship came first? Flagship Crew: Do as much to Noir as possible to soften him up for the massive damage next turn (assuming that I still have Hyperdeath for two turns, like my thing says). Chaos, could you try to get in the Throne Room to get your chair buffs when Noir gets in? I use the Delta Spear on the Flagship Core, Flaming Hull, and Backup Caller. Whoo... All this singing is really quite draining. Think it's about time for the half-mark interlude, don't y'all think?
A bunch of curtains suddenly fall over the battlefield, making it rather impossible to see Verdana for quite some time. Very loud snoring can be heard, though, implying he's having a quick nap... meanwhile, the stronger-willed of the possessed playerbase recover from the mind control, shake their heads in confusion, and wander back to what they were doing previously, but those of weak will continue to hack away on the Splinter Flagship for Verdana. Charges: It Has To Be This Way: 12/15 (+2 from Alicia) Project SHADOW: 8/12 (+2 from Alicia, +1 from Piono) +3 to Piono (hope you're prepared for when I eventually use my store credit... in the meantime, I'd like to buy an Obsidian Chestplate and an Obsidian Helmet, assuming I can actually wear those without utterly messing up the Barrier Strength passive.) What I'd prefer is that she'd finish those up instead of the spires honestly, I prefer to keep my troop numbers balanced so that I can properly fill orders for specific elements (since it goes hand in hand, one store credit buys half a round's worth of archons and beasts of a single element) Although since I can just double the number of archons I send out and it equates to the same thing, I guess it really doesn't matter too much.
1 stored charge Also, consumer, I'd recommend dropping the price of the spellcards, the randomized effect makes them worth a lot less, especially since at least some of their effects are just raw damage @toast: Okay, I'm randomly going back to the original pricing on the spoils, I hope you're okay with that, because honestly, considering their powerful properties compared to how little power each individual unit of archon troops is, I probably need to do that, but yeah, wish granted, even though my original plan was to use than in my attack this round. You timed that perfectly, one round later and you'd have had to wait for it to recharge. @engie: Yeah, I hope I'll be okay too. I should be okay as long as nobody else makes massive orders in the meantime, because I output 7 store credit worth of troops every round... Wow. That's... not as much as I thought. Either way, I'm actually capable of keeping up with you now. Also. Put my players back down before you get hurt. Do you remember what happened to Alicia when she touched the Fortress? She's a Godmodder, Verdana is not. Who's going to win, SONG, or you? 8/15 for aerial beasts. 7/15 for a spare charge. (I like being able to use the convenient nope button. I won't chain 'em together to make a single 100 post charge or something crazy though if you don't want me to. The Fortress is probably enough on its own.) +1 to engie, toast and topaz. Hmm... I should probably start work on something BESIDES my elemental alchemy line... Especially since I'm going to try and give the archons a little bit of the break to try out random shenanigans once the air section is done. As a note, the archon types are going to get kinda huge, I would recommend perhaps stacking the cores and spires. That'll roughly halve the space that the Fortress takes up. Eric shrugs. "Not a setbaaaa..." He notices the mind control event with Verdana. He growls. "Alright. THAT'S something you ought to care about." Indeed it is... Eric takes out the scythe of preventing, reaches up with a giant fist of earth, enclosing him in it, and jumps up. "Hello. I have some new rules for the game." The beastmaster is now prevented from doing anything but attacking the other possessed hostiles. ![]() Welp. Toast's order preempted that. Instead, the Scythe of Prevention mysteriously spins out of the sky and through a hole in the hull of the Splinter Flagship (because with how much damage it's take so far, it's got PLENTY of them.) and smashes into Glitch Noir. Glitch Noir is no longer allowed to attack AG or Fortress aligned entities. Pbtbpbtpptbthtbbtpbhbtpbhptbhth. Alphys gets a call from Eric. "Alphys, we have one of the Battlefield Descendants who just pulled a mind control bit on a huge chunk of our population to use as cannon fodder. Mobilize the troops. If we don't put an end to it diplomatically, we're putting the boot down. On his face." Alicia gets a call from SONG. Alicia, Narrative so help me if you don't make Verdana put those people back into the Fortress I will rip your forces into their base components I spent forever trying to convince the server factions that they could use the Fortress as the Spawn Point and now you PULL THIS!?!? You respawn. The Flagship insta gibbed the Orb last turn, like you said.
You walk to the Fortress. You will arrive next turn. Violin Bow && Steel Sword = The Artisan's Blade (Level 3: 1/4)
You summon Another gorrilaing Flaming Hull. Further hulls will be affected by the Curse of Repetitiveness. You also use the Delta Spear on the Core, Hull, and Backup Caller.
Noir can no longer attack AGs or Fortress entities for three turns. Which is a shame, as he was planning to destroy the Anti-Godmodders. However, instead of deciding to do something else, he simply disappears, leaving the Corrupted Chaos Saber behind. He'll reappear, soon. Very, very, soon. **Divinity Alicia111: The mind control should wear off soon, for all but the mentally weakest of players. **Divinity Alicia111: At that point, they probably contribute so little to not only AscensionCraft, but society itself, that they probably serve a better purpose not thinking for themselves. **Divinity Alicia111: Anyway, I'll snap quite a few off them out of it, but a horde of not-very smart but still somewhat useful Pro-Godmodder players is very good for me. Alicia clicks her fingers, and more players snap out of the mind-control. She then teleports quite a few spambots and many, many, noobs, excluding some that she took from other servers, into Verdana's horde. Only a few are Fortress players, and they happen to be ones that won't be missed that much.
Glitch Shielding upgraded. You deal 10,000 damage to Chris-Chan. Tracer will do as you say. [END OF TURN The Air Spire remembers to exist. Spade stabs the Summoning Stone for 15,000 damage. stevei gives his turn to B1NARY for a second, who follows up by stabbing Sorodin for 4 damage. stevei then activates cineribus sugere - to rise from the ashes. It was always cineribus, definitely. stevei picks up a chair. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Hello, ladies and gentleman of AscensionCraft. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Today, I would like to tell you the story of a fallen world. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: There was once a man called Mario. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: He was a plumber, had a brother named Luigi, and fought a conqueror named Bowser. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: We know the song and dance of Mario, so I don't feel like explaining it here. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Let me tell you how this little cycle fell apart. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: There once was a young man called Steve Islington. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: A force called the Conflict influenced him from a young age to be come an instrument of its will, a puppet, if you will. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: This force saw this world as a weak world, and resolved to crush it. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Abominations and villains, all the Agents of the Conflict invaded this world, and razed it to the ground. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: They took control of its citizens, split parts of that universe, and absorbed it into themselves. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: After all, every time you destroy and absorb a universe, you become stronger by a significant degree, so eating parts of it should also work. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Anyway, this young man took a major lead in the domination of this world. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: He used his Minecraft avatar as a force of corruption, tainting vast parts of the land, and letting it grow, and watching the citizens experience pain, and suffering, having their minds tainted, having their bodies lose control, and eventually become puppets to the will of the taint. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: The will of a taint on reality. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: The taint that is the power imbalance of the Conflict, growing, and growing, and growing. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Alicia's massive power for a Gamma godmodder is a sign. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Most Gamma godmodders aren't that ridiculously powerful. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: The Narrative enforced rules of this place is another sign. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: They're especially cruel compared to other godmodding wars. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Sure, it's not particularly hard to make do with them, but let me let you into a secret of why those rules are so hard. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: The Update Terminal user doesn't particularly care about Alicia's death, and the Conflict influence those rules to let Alicia live for longer. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: She is a puppet too. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Like most human agents. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Like me, Steve Islington, and B1NARY, the H0ST. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: He'll explain that very, very, shortly. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Anyway, do you want to get back on track? (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Do you want to know why I talked about this destroyed world. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Do you want to see it rise from the ashes! (Fallen From Grace) stevei: Well, I'll show you! stevei throws a lot of ash into the air, surrounding, no, completely clouding the Battlefield. The ash then promptly ignites. (Fallen From Grace) stevei: INTRODUCING, THE CORRUPTED EMPEROR WHO THOUGHT HE COULD MANIPULATE US, BUT WAS TURNED INTO A TOOL! (Fallen From Grace) stevei: INTRODUCING, THE PERSON WITH AS MUCH PERSISTANCE, BUT MAYBE NOT DETERMINATION, AS THE ANGEL OF GENOCIDE!!! (Fallen From Grace) stevei: INTRODUCING, THE CORRUPTED KING! (Fallen From Grace) stevei: INTRODUCING, THE FINALE TO THIS 4/13 EVENT THAT HAPPENS TO HAVE LITTLE RELATION TO HOMESTUCK, THE TAINTED KING, BOWSER!!! A massive portal of flux opens, and out of it appears himself, King Bowser, much larger, and wrapped in a heavy layer of taint, releasing a primal roar. Spade, not being particularly useful at this point, merges with Bowser, adding Darkness to the taint. Everything, including the crew of the Splinter Flagship, and entities of the Fortress and Alicia herself, stop. Dread goes down their backs. This is the wrath of- THE TAINTED KING, BOWSER [HOW TO PLAY] First off, I can completely understand if some of you are annoyed that the entire EoTB, excluding the Conflict just got nullified, with little to no warning. The idea to write an info dump came, I wrote it, and then it took long enough that I didn't feel like dealing with anything else, as well as a boss summon being a good point to nullify the EoTB. Status effects haven't ticked down this turn, and non-Spoil, non-Fortress charges haven't ticked up, so the only thing that has happened in the EoTB was the Conflict's turn and Bowser's summoning. Anyway, Bowser. This version of Bowser, is not a ripoff of Dark Bowser, and not that close to Dark Bowser, apart from the arms. Bowser, despite his appearance, is not particularly tanky. He is, however, a good damage dealer. His specials also allow for a moderate amount of summoning. This is a Very Bad Thing. Kill him relatively quickly. His Shell, after its first death, will begin to regenerate, and generally be a nuisance until the Tainted King's death, attacking, and guarding other Conflict entities. After Bowser's death, the 4/13 event will be considered over, and the charge cap and alchemy cap will be increased. Anyway, good luck. AGs, expect reinforcements very, very, soon. @consumer: For the sake of an easy transition, assume darkside murdered the possessed drakes then wandered off into the city to go do something else.
1 spare charge 10/15 for aerial beasts. 10/15 for a spare charge. (I like being able to use the convenient nope button. I won't chain 'em together to make a single 100 post charge or something crazy though if you don't want me to. The Fortress is probably enough on its own.) +1 to ire, toast and sunnyau. The point is not whether or not they were contributing more. The point was that you attacked civilians who were IN OUR SAFE ZONE. It's already going to be a mess for me to patch up. Go ahead and keep the spambots and Jerry though. However... Hmph. Conflict agents. They DO realize we're non-canon right? We can shred them up and it won't mean a thing? The Narrative and Conflict don't care what happens to them anymore. Oh well, better warn Eric. Eric feels the ripple and the rumble and the summoning. "Okay, that's enough of that, time to finish this." spare charge expended: convenient nope button activated! The beast master is suddenly sucked into a hole in the ground and vaporized. He doesn't even get the dignity of a proper death description. He just dies. Before the spellcaster can do anything to try and counteract Eric, he's let loose a burst of air magic and impaled the spellcaster with Triton's Wrath. "Let's see how well you fair against my archons without the beastmaster, hmm?" Eric spins around, lifting the spellcaster up into the air, and fires him off with a burst of steam (fire, water and air magic) that launches the possessed spellcaster over the walls of the Fortress, a well placed rock smacks the spellcaster in the head, stunning them, preventing them from actually attacking anyone. No longer even marginally protected by the beastmaster's special... well, as tanky as these buggers were during this fight, I doubt it can survive every single Fortress entity targeting it in the EotB. tl;dr: I used my spare 15 post charge to instantly smush the beast master, then used my free action to relocate the spellcaster to the inner citadel of the Fortress while simultaneously preventing them from attacking. I ordered all my soldiers to kill the spellcaster. Eric, time to stop fooling around, we have a- oh, I see you've dealt with it. "Yeah. I have. Demonologist, let the other anomalies inside the town know that there might be something nasty coming this way soon, depending on how well the fight on the main battlefield goes." "So, are you gonna help us deal with the oversized turtle or are you gonna stick around in town where it's safe?" Eric waits for a response, then presses his button, launching himself through the air on the massive launching platform, sailing through the air to the Battlefield. (hooray for the upgrades installed all that time ago! I knew that they'd be useful!) Demonologist comes too if she so desires. Everything else stays in the Fortress in case we wind up having a seige.
