Dawn 15/15! (+3 from NumberSoup.)
Second Breath 15/15! (+3 from NumberSoup.) Generic Charge 1 4/15 (+3 from NumberSoup.) +3 to NumberSoup 15/15 x2 expended! Leveling system begins! Golden and blood-red energy flares around Mars as their abilities acquire some actual narrative weight. First Mechanic: Exalted First, obviously Exalted has a good bit of influence on this leveling system. Mars, although actually Essence 10, will be radically downgraded for this leveling system, starting at Essence 2. This puts their personal motes at 6 (2x3) plus 10 for 10 Willpower, totaling 16, and their peripheral motes at 14 (2x7) plus 10 for Willpower, plus 5 for Valor, 5 for Conviction, 1 for Temperance, and 1 for Compassion, totaling to 36 Peripheral motes. We'll just say that they meet the requirements for any charm they want to learn, and leave it at that, other than Essence, which will remain a bottleneck. Upgrading Essence will require (desired dot value x10) points of charge, which may be cumulative across multiple charges and cannot skip levels. Can't go directly to 10, in other words. Mars will start with 10charms, with the option to learn more through (Essence level requirement x5) charges, so a charm requiring Essence 2 would need 10 charge points, etc. Once again, charges will be cumulative, meaning multiple charges may funnel into learning the same charm. Prerequisite Charms must be bought before buying a Charm. Charms will be at the GM's discretion as to the effects they grant, but they should have about the same effects as the original game's charms. Perfect defenses should be pretty much the same, for example, apart from highly-likely restrictions on too-frequent use. Maybe only 1 every 3 turns, or such? Stunting will work about the same, with creative actions considered by the GM to be equal to a 1-die stunt, 2-die stunt, etc, granting either (dice x2) motes or, for 2/3 die stunts, the option of a point of temporary Willpower. Mars starts with Hungry Tiger Technique, First Melee Excellency, First Martial Arts Excellency, [CPoV] Rapid Vicissitudes of War Mudra (This and other Charms labeled [CPoV] are from http://exalted.xi.co.nz/wiki/MartialArts/C...yofVictoryStyle, a martial art I consider to be one of Mars’ signature MA.) [CPoV] War-Slaying Parry, [CPoV] Steel-Bolstered Warrior Secrets, [CPoV] Serene Battlefield Commander Meditation, [CPoV] Crimson Panoply of Victory Form, Dipping Swallow Defense, Bulwark Stance. Basically, Mars be really, REALLY offense-focused right now. (Steel-Bolstered Warrior Secrets and CPoV Form are basically there to let Mars use Martial Arts in armor.) Mechanic: Vehemic Energy I am under no illusions as to the high, even OP, power of this mechanic. However, I'm planning to introduce it only after perhaps an extra 60 or 90 charges have been spent on adding it in. Simply put, Mars gains power from violence. You punch them, they get stronger. They punch you, they still get stronger. You punch someone else? Still makes them stronger. This is the powerset revealed in my last post, by the way. For every point of damage dealt, Mars gains a point on a meter of vehemic energy. They may use this power for a multitude of things once the meter has filled up enough, including but not limited to: Regaining motes and willpower, prices planned to be sufficiently high as to not be OP; Critting themselves or others; Causing enemy entities to attack a target of Mars' choice; General attack buffs; And others. Really, once they're high-powered enough, they can get almost anything done by throwing enough power at it. Mars, assuming they can repeat the last action due to it failing, repeats their last action on the RED Space Soldier. Verdana decides to be a tremendous dick and immediately blows his player killing charge on Spongebawb solely for the sake of douchebaggery.
heh Player Killing: 9/9 (EXPENDED) Cue the way charges work doing like 18 damage at least to Spongebawb because lel, which Verdana caps off by pulling out an axe made from Obsidian and cleaving the sponge in two. Then four. Then eight. Then sixteen. Then thirty two. Then sixty four. Then one hundred and twenty eight. Then two hundred and fifty six. Then five hundred and twelve. Then one thousand and twenty four. Then two thousand and forty eight. Then four thousand and ninety six. Then eight thousand, one hundred and ninety two. Then sixteen thousand, three hundred and eighty... three. Oh, and he throws a bottle of magic medicine pills at RED Space Soldier. Let's hope that this update doesn't contain any oversights. piono gains health from Well Fed and Pindar gains +2 Armour, despite technically wearing less armour than full Enchanted Obsidian Armour, and the Earthen Buildings spawn entities like they were supposed to, as well as healing the Shrine to full health.
Fixed. itsjustaprankbro accepts your hand shake. Eric gains 12 HP.
The Luminous Dessert is weakened ever so slightly.
Fixed. **Divinity Alicia111: Didn't I say I removed them? Look, we aren't going to get anywhere like this, so I'll just blow up your fortress, and you'll fail to defend it. Some of the Attack hits the Fated to Die Squad and 15 of their members die but Alicia is still somehow targeted, likely due to this not being a full on attack. She, as stated in your attack, manages to deflect the attack, but her Gamma Armour has been razed to pieces, making it much harder for her to block attacks for the next three turns. She does not seem very happy, at all. **Divinity Alicia111: I would have let you improve the Fortress beyond what it is now before activating Fortress Busters, but I won't now. **Divinity Alicia111: That was perfectly good armour. 50 points of damage reduction. And you destroyed it, just like that. **Divinity Alicia111: I know I'm not at the top, and that I can't beat the Narrative, or the Conflict. **Divinity Alicia111: However, I like your claims. You'll be standing on top? Heh. We have similar goals. **Divinity Alicia111: Well, let's see who's first.
**Divinity Alicia111: A sad story. Pain and Suffering currently takes place around the start time, progressing slightly with every turn, so February the 5th 2016, which is a long time after the Golden Age and the Zeroth War. There's a reason this isn't canon, and it couldn't be canon even if I wanted it to.
Levelling system added, although I'll wait for Vehemic Energy to be charged before adding it in, unless that was what the other 15 post charge was expended for. The RED Space Soldier takes 10,000 HP of damage.
Fortunately for Spongebawb, the attack deals exactly 18 damage, and the RED Space Soldier gains 6,000 HP. [END OF TURN BATTLE] Meowstic and the Single Hellkite Dragon rush the RED Space Soldier for 11,200 HP of damage. The RED Space Soldier gets behind Destruction, and uses his turn to charge Pattern Beta. The Anti-Descendants deal 10,000 HP of damage to the Fortress and Meowstic before moving forward to act as protection for the entire PG side. The Space Station continues to rise. Destruction roars, and a massive blast heads towards the Single Hellkite Drake for 13,000 damage. Alicia gives a +1 to Verdana and teag2, before activating Fortress Busters. Griefers spawn in from an airplane in the sky, armed with the very best technology and tactics with one goal in mind, destroy the Fortress. One troop lands just outside the the Fortress, while the rest prepare to destroy the inside contraptions of the Fortress. Griefers summon. Alicia then snaps her fingers, and Eric snaps some of his bones, taking 9 damage. In the Fortress More earth entities spawn, including Wisps for each aggressor. The Earth Archons deal 7 damage to a Vandal while the Wisps kill 4 Trapmasters. The Earth Sprites attack and kill an Arsonist and the Elemental kills the Vandal. B1NARY cuts through 10 Archons, while the Vandal puts cake, dirt and other messy building blocks on the Barracks, dealing 5,000 HP of damage, before getting out a Name Tag that somehow turns the name of the entity it is used on into Comic Sans, and names the Earth Barracks the dirt barracks. The Arsonists realise that the Fortress is made out of dirt and is therefore not flammable, so they work with the Trapmasters to create Lava and Cobweb pits, which have a 10% chance of making non-PGs fail their attack and become trapped. The Bombers sacrifice 15 of their numbers to kill 3 Earth Sprites. Sorodin is healed and the Defense Turrets fire at the Griefer Airplane for 8,800 HP of damage. [GM NOTES] Now, due to piono's attack, Alicia is Vulnerable but due to her project charges, there are a high amount of PG entities on the field. Your best bet here is to go after weaker PGs as well as summoning lots of entities, but it's your call here. Help in the form of more players may come, but for now, you'll have to figure out a way to regain your entity advantage. [ITINERARY] [ALL]: Convince the players to your side. Alright... I'm just going to ignore everything you say from here on out, because you make no sense!
Pindar runs behind the bombers, takes out several buckets of water and uses them to drown some of the bombers, hopefully also negating their explosions. To help them drown faster, she also drops a stack of gravel on top of the bombers to trap them in place. 9/10, got a number of +sses, but sorry for being gone for a while.
1/15 +1 Piono, Topaz, FseftrSoup The Umbral One unleashes the power of one of the oldest memes ever: He Set the Griefer Bombers Up The Bomb. He then tosses one of the Griefer Bombers whose Bomb was Set Us Up into the other Griefers. The Bombers explode on death. Unfortunately, since the One is currently on the other side of the Battlefield from them, all the explosions do are harm the closest person. Which happens to be other Griefers, and Binary. "A note to all players inside the fortress. The floor may be a bit damaged from the explosion chain. The blocks to replace the floor should be right by the damaged floor. Also, glad to see my guess was correct about it being a lack of opportunity. Though something tells me that if your personality is how it has been portrayed, this attack may have a bit more connection to ranking up than you currently let on. Oh, well." 1+ to ponio
1+ topaz 1+ to final battle 11/15 Anti-Fort Buster 4/4 (1+ from ponio) Spongebawb walks into the Fortress with a trollface, and plunks down an [PG] Embassy with the same stats as the AZ one, as well as not being enterable by aggress0rs [FREE ACTION] Then, Spongebawb, continuing his trend of being utterly brutal, notices Binary in the fortress, and looks at him with what is best descirbed as a face of High Octave Nightmare Fuel (this phrase brought to you by Spongebob's TvTropes Phrase) SISDB: I THOUGHT YOU HAD LEARNED YOUR LESSON. He rushes towards Binary, a knife made of Nightmare Fuel in his hand. Then, he begins to brutally stab Binary, again, and again, and again, dismembering him even as he becomes a corpse. Then, leaving the fortress, he tosses him onto the Griefer Airship, which is promptly hit by a massive swarm of Surface to Air rockets while being bombed by a massive amount of Anti-air cannons and being attacked by WW2 era planes. Binary, suddenly being the captain, goes down with it, and is caught in the explosion as it crashes. Spongebawb, comes crashing down from above, and, sword in hand, stabs Binary in the heart and smashs down his body, as well has giving him Comma Cancer, which translate to Brain Cancer. Then, he punchs him into the nether, and repeatly dips him in the lava before using him as a meatshield from Wither Skeletons, before teleporting back to the surface. Then, he infects all of his blood cells, causing them all to block up his veins and arterys. Then Realism sets in, causing Brinary's brain to slowy die while the rest of his body suffers from an extreme cause of Necrosis, his skin turning black and dying as it runs out of blood while bacteria infect his wounds. Then, a massive number of Plankton-sized plankton are summoned to eat his corpse. They carry the Cell Destroyer disease, which rapidly destroy's his body. Next, spongebawb stands on top of Binary's corpse, and uses a Direct Hit to Rocket Jump, then uses the parachute as he is about to land and proceeds to perform multiple Market Gardens on Binary. Funfact: The market garden was probably named after Operation Market Garden, during which a bunch of US paratroopers got rekt during ww2. Suddenly, a massive horde of Paratroops gun Binary down. Then, spongebawb casts ignites Binary's Corpse, burning it. When all that is said in done, he traps his skeleton in the name house that jAFK blew up in (which is on the surface not in the nether and therefore could have not blown holes in the bedrock in the nether), blowing a great many holes in the (SURFACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Bedrock. Then, Spongebawb drops an anvil on his skeleton from Height 250. An Anvil does 2 damage per height above two to ground, so 248x2 damage to his skull. Then, spongebawb burys him.... Then a graverobber steals his skeleton and donates it to an evil docter, who tosses it into an antimatter pool. Then, Spongebawb, being the soul-rekting menace that he is, reveals that he has stolen Binary's soul, and tosses it at a flowey Expy. Meanwhile, he teleports the Griefer Airship into the Lava in the nether, teleports it back, and reveals that a massive amount of Anti-Matter, Dark-Matter, and Red-Matter bombs, as well as Biome Busters, are on board. With all of the griefers inside the fortress inside. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
I can already tell she is gonna regain her defense unless this actually kills the entire griefer fleet. Originally posted on 2016-03-19 17:15:00 -------------------- he he

Exalted Generic Charge 1 8/15 (+3 from NumberSoup) Essence Upgrade part 1: 1/15 +3 to NumberSoup. Ioun Stone && 3-dot Solar hearthstone == ??? 1/? (This one should let Mars regain Essence passively at a slow rate. No idea how much of a level that needs.) You were entirely right - the twin 15-charges were because I considered 15 charges all on their lonesome weren't quite enough to get Exalted mechanics / a leveling system going. Vehemic energy will probably need another 60 charges, at the least, before I add it. It's... really powerful, in a world like DTG where violence happens at such a fast rate. In any case, Mars decides to test out their new abilities, and whirls their orichalcum dire lance, World Reaver, around their head, activating First Melee Excellency using 4 peripheral motes, and then Hungry Tiger Technique with another peripheral mote. They leap up with murder in their hidden eyes, sand eddying in the wind of the leap, slicing through the metal of the Griefer Airplane like it was paper. Considering that the blade of the lance is sharpened to a point that can cut between molecules, it's not going to work too hard on cutting some nonspecific metal-like material that's part of an airplane's hull. Mars lands back on the sand, a small crater forming around them, and acquires a satisfied air. SBISDB: To both players here: Please defend the fort to the best of your ability- it's the closest thing that you will ever get to a base for a really long time. And this war could go on forever, stalling Alicia from building the base she promised. SBISDB: Not to mention that i might eventually become the strongest thing here, as well as the best safe haven, considering the lethality of being outside the Fortress. On that note, the Embassy should now give you both regen, and if you need to enter either embassy, you can now access them due to me being the creator of both and therefore having the keys to both. 1+ to ponio 1+ topaz 1+ to final battle 12/15... so close... Of all the freaking rounds to miss my second post, it had to be these two.
5/6 for the superconductor supercomputer (lapis lazuli AND redstone dust) AND limited edition XBOX = purplecharged Xbox 1/3 6/10 for earthen rebirth 15/15 for earthen speed 1/5 for earthen spirit +1 to teag, FBSN and battlefury Sure is a shame about that PG embassy, huh? I mean, I'm pretty certain battlefury can't place it due to not being PG, but if he can... sure is too bad the griefers don't have enough health to utilize the regen, eh? Eric shrugs, and dashes through the griefers using Uranium's Umbrage, completely bypassing all of the traps because there THREE of him, all of them at different angles but sharing the same input, thus allowing him to dodge even more effectively. He comes out of his time-cloning at the AG embassy. "Fine then Alicia, have it your way." He gets up onto the roof, switches on the first defense turret, and then switches oblivion out of the second. He loads in Ultimatum. "THIS will get the job done much better." Eric then hops over the wall, and looks up at the plane. I got it. The stone dentures make a surprise reappearance... Inside the engine of the griefer plane. It immediately divebombs to that ground, exploding all over the cannoners, losing it's airborne status as well as the ability to drop griefers inside the walls of the Fortress. Eric whips out uranium's umbrage, and dashes forwards, beheading each and every single one of the cannoners that wasn't blown to pieces by the plane crashing directly on top of them. He darts back, and cleans off his blade (despite it not needing cleaning, as this is Minecraft) "Okay Alicia, I still don't entirely get what this anti-Fortress nonsense is about, but I'm NOT letting you blow the world spawn up again." 15/15 expended! Earthen speed enabled! You know how when I was summoning the earth core I said there was one building yet to come? Well, here it is. The center-piece to the fortress's unit spawning abilities. A massive spire of rock rises from the top of the Fortress's central keep. It is echoing with earth magic, rocks swirling around the top. And somehow, nobody can tell exactly how they know, it is connected to the other earth buildings. Earth spire: 15K health, doubles the spawn rate of all earth spawn buildings. (so 10 earth archons every rounds, 2 earth sprites, and 1 minor earth elemental every two rounds) Before you say this is unbalanced, it works within the ranks of everything else. It took a total of 15 charge to set up half that amount of spawning, and it would take 3 times the amount of damage to remove that soldier-spawn capability. This is actually less for the same amount of charge once you've done the math, but because of the implications of it, I nerfed the health down to the same as the other buildings to make doubly sure it's still balanced gameplay-wise as well as stats wise. And yes, if it gets destroyed that'll cut everything back down to the rate it was before until it gets properly rebuilt. Anyways, now that I've gotten the second 15 of the earth unit summoning charges out, hopefully the Fortress will be able to defend itself for long enough to take out the rest of the griefers. (HeyGuys.)
1^3 pixel cubes rise out of the ground slowly, criss-crossing and moving on axis, tetris-style. For a few moments it just looks like a glitch. But as the pixels rearrange themselves, a silhouette is revealed, seemingly not Minecraftian, but certainly male. There was a blank bar above his head where a name should be, but it occassionally blinked yellow, pink or green, or just blinked across your view. The pixels settled, and a figure that seemed to change texture as you looked at it now stood. The texture finally settled on a boy with a simple shirt and eyes that glitched in and out of existance. The pixelly, animated look remained, however. Upon closer inspection, it seemed that the pixels moved into place infront of him as he moved, rather than the model using set animations, like most games. He took a few steps and waved to everyone with an insane smile on his face. Pixels in the hand seemed to lag past each other, creating an afterimage as he moved. Closer expection revealed that pixels were physically moving to show him moving. "Hey guys, the name's Ets!" Ets' voice looked like a badly dubbed movie, as the sound was nowhere near in time with his mouth movements. (He kinda sounds like Bill, to invite a comparison.)) Within seconds ~someone~ tries to /ban him, but without a name, what were they going to put after that...? "HaHaHa! Don't be silly, this'll be FUN with me around!" Ets? joined? the server. "Hmm, which of these sides sucks the least... WELL, I'll decide later!" [N] Ets throws his arm forward and... wait... his arm actually comes off! As it flies, it seems to form into a more angular, thinner version and impales an entity like a spear, spreading a virus running up it's body AND THEN SOME, floating into the game and disintegrating it at the very code of it's AI! Ets' spear/hand falls to the ground, the pixels blinking a few times before disappearing entirely. The space where his arm was does the same, only inversed. +1 to engie, +1 to piono, +1 to crystalcat 1/10 HAHAHAHA 1/5 WELL '80s PacMan Vest || Liquid Entropy && Broken Arcade Screen = Glitch Destabiliser (Level ? - 1/?) Christ on a unicycle, RSS, that is not a good health level to be on.
Verdana pauses, remembering that he isn't really the type of guy to do things for other people if they're not really going to provide much help in return... then shrugs, internally justifying his next actions by reasoning that RED Space Soldier's potential damage output is extremely high, even by the standards of this game. Admittedly, it's rather... eclectic, but if the numbers roll really good, the true power of hilarious inaccurate glass cannon attacks would shine. Thus, he decides to call in a bit of assistance from off-screen to help heal RED Space Soldier. This takes the form of a team of very skilled Crusaders Crossbow-wielding RED Medics firing in completely the wrong direction, their bolts looping around the entire server and returning to the battlefield... only to anti-climatically miss altogether, a grand total of one healing bolt managing to actually get to RED Space Soldier. Because of the whole same team dealio, this counts as healing, even though a crossbow bolt sticking out of one's crotch generally isn't considered the optimum result of an attempted heal. But, hey, TF2 logic. Come on brain do a thing that works: 10/15 (+1 from Alicia, +1 from Ets) Something Something Leonard Bernstein: 4/12 (+1 from Alicia) Originally posted on 2016-03-20 11:24:00 -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. ![]() GLORIOUS LEADER ![]() ![]() ![]() Age: N/A Location: N/A Status: N/A ![]() |
12 bombers die without being able to explode.
Unfortunately, since you are in a completely different zone, the nearest Griefers are the Cannoners, of which 3 of them die.
Alicia decides that since she is the leader of the Pro-Godmodders, she gets to decide what the stats are, and will do so during the EotB. B1NARY takes 20 damage and instantly dies. You feel the Curse of Repetitiveness preventing you from dealing the killing blow to B1NARY anymore. The Flowey Expy that takes B1NARY's soul feels energy coursing through it with an ominous presence before dropping dead. B1NARY's soul then floats back to his body. The Griefer Airship takes 14,000 HP and every Griefer inside the fortress takes 1 HP of damage, with the Bombers strategically blowing up on the Earth Portal for 4,000 HP of damage. So do I, but you only really have to worry about the Battlefield entities for the entity advantage.
First Melee Excellency: +2,000 HP of damage Hungry Tiger Technique: +1,000 HP of damage (Double damage with 1 mote is OP) Stunt: 0 dice (This is DTG, so you'll have to try harder for stunts.) You deal 13,000 HP of damage to the Griefer Airplane. Ioun Stone && 3-dot Solar Hearthstone == Ioun Hearthstone (Level 4)
You regain 5 HP and enter the Fortress. *PranksterCrew itsjustaprankbro: Yeah, we should get to it.
The Vandal takes 9,000 HP of damage and dies. RoswellGreys summoned.
Ultimatum loaded, although I don't know what the level of that is. The Griefer Airplane takes 8,000 damage, while 4 Cannoners are killed. Earth Spire summoned.
'80s PacMan Vest || Liquid Entropy && Broken Arcade Screen = Glitch Destabiliser (Level 5) Ets joins the server. Due to godmodding, you automatically target Meowstic for 10,000 HP.
The RED Space Soldier is healed by 12,000 HP. [END OF TURN BATTLE] Meowstic and the Single Hellkite Dragon murder the Griefer Cannoners. The RED Space Soldier uses Missile Barrage Pattern Beta on the Fortress, hitting twice for 15,000 HP of damage. The Anti-Descendants, excluding anti-narration move into the Fortress. anti-narration runs straight through Mars for 8 critical HP of damage. Destruction roars at the One for 13 HP of damage, while the Space Station continues to rise. The Griefers on the Griefer Airplane are not happy with being annihilated so quickly, and launch (not drop) some of themselves into the Fortress. Alicia is happy with her performance on the main battlefield, but not with the Fortress, so gives Verdana and teag2 a +2 and offers Ets an assist if he joins, and uses her godmodding skills to find several youtubers that specialise in trolling and griefing, before giving them a call and sending them to go grief the Fortress. n00bKILLER, baseBREAKer, __xXDIAMOND_KINGXx_ and legageddon summoned. She then revises the stats of the PG Embassy by pointing out that the Curse of Repetitiveness should make it weaker, which it conveniently does by only reducing the negative effects. In the Fortress Lots of Earthen Minions are summoned, and Wisps spawn. itsjustaprankbro cripples a vandal, while AllScope finishes the off. legageddon gains 5% on his Destruction Meter. The Wisp Swarms kill all of the new Trapmasters, the Archons and Sprites kill 22 of the Fated to Die Squad and the Elementals kill an Arsonist. Roswell kills a single member of the Player Strike Forces. The Arsonists deal 10 damage to Roswell, and set her on fire. The Trapmasters create a weak wall guarding the PGs. The Anti-Descendants deal a critical 8 damage to Pindar and Spongebawb excluding armour, killing Spongebawb. n00bKILLER kills 10 Archons, while baseBREAKer smashes into the dirt barracks for 8,000 HP of damage, dealing 2,000 HP of that to the Fortress. __xXDIAMOND_KINGXx_ acts as another shield for the Pro-Godmodders and legageddon deals 8,000 HP of damage to the dirt barracks, gaining 8% to his Destruction Meter. The Core heals the two damaged buildings by 2,500 HP. The AG Turrets deal 9,000 HP of damage to the Griefer Airplane, while the PG Turrets turn on the AG Turrets and kill the AG Defense Turret. [ITINERARY] [AG]: Kill Alicia111, especially as she suffers from low defense. [AG]: Fully disable the Luminous Desert. [AG]: Kill extremely powerful PG entities, such as Destruction and anti-narration. [PG]: Protect Alicia111. [PG]: Kill the AG players. Exalted Generic Charge 1 15/15! (+6 from NumberSoup) Essence Upgrade part 1: 2/15 Sealed Beast 1/15 +3 to NumberSoup. Ioun Stone && 3-dot Solar hearthstone == Ioun Hearthstone 2/5 Hmm, the Charm effects look good so far. I understand the change to HTT, since Exalted is a game balanced around 'hit infrequently, but hard' while DTG is a game balanced around 'hit relatively lower but constantly'. I think Excellencies should give general boosts to attacks, such as increased hit chance when the user wants, or damage boost when the user wants, but so far the 2 motes for 1,000 damage thing lets them be balanced around HTT, which can only be used once per attack and so should have a better efficiency. Nice. In any case, 15-post charge expended! Mars raises their spear, swirling patterns of Essence surrounding them, then brings it down, ripping open a red-glowing tear to places unknown. Out falls... a giant, extremely bad-smelling rotten hamburger. Eugh. Seriously, this thing - wait, it just got up. It has eyes? And now it's just pulled out a massive meat cleaver with arms made of the same horrible meat as its weird patty. This thing looks... hungry. Harmburger summoned! This... thing doesn't have much I can say about it. It's just a generic entity. Ooo, idea.
Verdana snaps his fingers, expending the 15 post charge through the combined power of Teag and Alicia's assists... but nothing happens. Well, not anything immediate, if the sudden arrival of a heavily-armored hulking brute meandering onto the battlefield is any indication. He seems slow. Lesser Brute Psychopath: 60000/60000 (acts at end of EoTB) (20% miss chance unless unarmored) (Football Helmet: 12000/12000, immunity to critical hits while active) (Stolen TV: 25000/25000, resistant to consecutive attacks while active) (Stolen Computer Screen: 15000/15000, resistant to charge attacks while active) (Rubber Bands X20: 1000/1000 each, breaking these causes the Lesser Brute Psychopath to lose 2% attack power per broken band) Lesser Brute Psychopath is wielding what, quite frankly, looks like he just tied a car battery to the end of an olden-day car jack with a bunch of rubber bands. Because that's what it is. His ability to hurt things isn't all that noteworthy, especially if his armor starts to slip off, but under the protection of a ton of shit he stole from random mall shops, it's going to take a while to put him down. Seriously, guy's got more total health than friggin Destruction has. But, again, his attacks are weak compared to what his health would imply, and he is slow. Painfully so. It's probably worth noting that Verdana does nothing else this turn. It's probably to balance the fact that he just summoned a meat shield on steroids. This next thing is not a summon I promise: 7/12 (+1 from Alicia) (+1 from Ets who I would appreciate a lot more if they weren't currently killing one of my summons) Originally posted on 2016-03-21 11:42:00 -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. @conumser: Ack! I didn't mean ultimatum! I'm just used to using that because it's the level 10 version of the giga gun, and I've been using that one instead for a long time. I meant the giga gun (level 5)
6/6 for the superconductor supercomputer: This powerful supercomputer additionally has a massive store of auxiliary electrical charge, allowing it to basically be used as a self-adjusting weaponized tesla coil. 2/3 for the purplecharged XBOX 8/8 for earthen rage 4/4 for convenient nope button +1 to toast, FBSN and battlefury Okay, before I do any action, I'm going to do some retcon-stuff-things. fun fact, I'm planning to introduce a number of other elements along a similar (although not identical) addition plan to the earth elementals, and I realized that after a bit of that, the battle update would get WAY too crowded just because of the different types of entities on the field being such a large number, so I'm shrinking all three of the earth entities down to the earth archons and dirt barracks (you suck B1nary). dirt barrack new stats: 30K health, 20 earth archons a round (without the spire). Current health (due to damage dealt to the other buildings): 18K (30K minus all the damage dealt, meaning I just lost 15K total health to my spawning buildings). Similarly, to do a little of clearing up right here and now, the 5 earth sprites and 2 minor earth elementals dissolve and reform, creating the number of earth archons that would've existed had they been generated as archons instead of as sprites/elementals. (this number is, according to calculations of 1 earth sprite being worth 5 archons and 1 minor elemental being worth 20, 65 archons. If I'm right this also slightly decreases my offensive power, but slightly increases the total health because of the way the minor elementals were balanced.) Okay, that bit of world update simplification completed, let's move on to actual actions. Eric looks at the griefer plane, which, although grounded, still seems to be spitting griefers into the Fortress. "...Really?" "REALLY?" "That's just not cool bro." He twirls uranium's umbrage a few times, then holds it at his side, sort of like that one girl in smash bros that suddenly swipes you off the screen right after posing. He then splits into three, summoning both of his time clones. And suddenly there are three flashes, and suddenly there are three massive slices through the griefer plane, two of them forming a V, the last splitting that V down the middle. The two outer Erics disappear, leaving Eric holding his sword behind him in a proper ninja pose. He turns around and sheathes his sword, watching as the plane spontaneously explodes in all three places, despite there not having actually been anything to blow them up. "I know that cool guys don't look at explosions, but I think turning around and waiting for it had a better effect this time." And then the stone dentures land in the plane's engine again, causing a massive chain reaction through the entire plane, sending pieces of it flying everywhere. 4/4 expended! Convenient nope button pressed! 4 charge should be enough to put the embassy up to it's proper strength, is it not? As on the first offense, the curse of repetition doesn't nerf the entity in question by half it's power, meaning a charge of the same amount should be enough to restore the powers of the PG embassy, given that the AG embassy required only 4 charge to get everything. The Narrator, having proven his point, drops a rock on the conveniently placed Nartator Brand Convenient Nope Button, restoring the negative balancing effects to the PG embassy to make it match the AG embassy- and, oh dear, it seems that the defense turrets are out of commission because of the system upgrades. Looks like a player (entity or Descendant) will need to spend an action to get them back online (one action for both) As a side note, I'm nerfing the negative effects of the embassies. I went back and read and realized that their effect could be summarized as: fortress-affiliated entities and players deal quadruple damage to aggressors, whether in the fortress or not, and deal double damage (with twice the crit chance to on TOP of that) to anything that has an aggressor of the same alignment, again, regardless of whether or not in the fortress. Obviously, this is a problem. I'm going to change it so that the negative effects are merely than all PG and AG aggressors INSIDE the fortress take quadruple damage while still labeled as aggressors and within the fortress, instead of keeping that quadruple damage debuff once they leave, as well as granting double damage to all their allies. Conversely, to make it so this actually has an effect as well as making it so that the buildings within the Fortress can actually be targeted by a strike force, I'm ALSO removing the instant ejection of aggressors. To summarize the personal rebalancing. Original stats of the embassies: Grants regen to all affiliated entities, whenever there is an aggressor of the same alignment anywhere in the game, fortress-affiliated players and entities deal quadruple damage to those aggressors and double damage to everything else of that alignment, as well as auto-kicking any aggressors of that alignment that attempt to spend time in the Fortress. Revised stats of the embassies: Grants regen to all affiliated entities, aggressors of the same alignment take quadruple damage while inside the Fortress. Actually, scratch that. Quadrupled is still too much. Revised stats of the embassies: Grants regen to all affiliated entities, aggressors of the same alignment take If I can have the quadrupled damage, that would be nice, but I suspect that would break everything REALLY hard. Anyways, convenient nope button pressed and stat discrepancies properly fixed, it's time to put on a smack-down. 8/8 expended! Earth rage activated! Let's see about breaking you guys... Suddenly, the wall protecting the PGs topples inwards, landing on diamond king, destroying the wall and preventing diamondking from tanking for his allies. Following this comes the massive wave. A wave of earth. A massive storm of spikes and rock flies towards the griefers and anti-descendants. The group of hostile warriors are caught up in a storm of earthen fury, not big enough to be called a crust tsunami, but is indeed a massive wave in the surface of the ground. The earth rips up their armor... it isn't the same armor-piercing rocks that shredded Alicia's armor just a short while ago, but rocks moving at this speed are still deadly. And they don't have to pierce godmodding armor. Those that have armor only have that which is typical of the regular players, the ones fighting here haven't gotten to use the alchemiter, and as such are fighting entirely on their own. (as a note, aggressors can't make use of the Fortress's facilities while labeled as such, so if they want to use the alchemiters there, a PG who isn't labeled as an aggressor yet will need to do it for them.) This does not go well for them, just as you would expect. They are torn to shreds. If there is any leftover damage after this attack ends, it all goes to legaggedon. Spoiler Alert Originally posted on 2016-03-21 15:24:00 -------------------- Once upon a time there was a story...
