Verdana gets to max Heat, and in an instant is swallowed by a maw of Archons.

As he stands up, Noah shows Cantor his opinions on that notion with a variety of colorful swears, some so obscure that not even the censor gorilla can pick them up. Cantor just continues to grin insidiously.

Ravenous uses it's magnificent maw to consume the Prototape. It then vanishes into smoke, reappearing on the Battlefield and spitting the Prototape out.

The room floods with dogs, it swarms, the attack slamming into SONG, who stumbles backwards, then stands up as the dogs swirl around him. A pulse of energy rockets out of him, spreading throughout the entire room, vaporizing eveyr last one of the canines.

Well, I am impressed, by both you and Verdana.
You've packed quite a punch. Not on the same level as what I accomplished last time I decided to flex my powers, but I suppose that's a given.
I suppose the standard fare here is to give you an item, and I will, because powerful as I am I'm still bound by some of the rules of this world.

SONG flourishes and brandishes a pen, which flutters down to bfury. Annoyingly, it appears that the charge for it is locked down until the fight actually ends, but once the SONG fight is over it'll be active.

The Author's Pen:
Originally an artifact made by a certain Terminae to allow him to focus his power in ways that would let him influence events without having the Narrative and Conflict jump on him immediately, it still acts as a powerful reality warping artifact, allowing one to indirectly assert their will upon reality.
Upon use, this artifact will increase the likelihood of success of all nonstandard actions (ie: anything that doesn't deal direct damage or direct healing. So stuff like changing the terrain, inflicting status effects or upgrading an entity) for the following 3 turns.
Level 3. 5/6 round charge time, consumer's choice.

Now that being said, I believe I need to keep you lot from escaping.
There is a resounding whoosing sound. It sounds like a storm, a hurricane of epic proportions. A quick look outside reveals something extremely unfortunate.
SONG uses his charged special Elemental Wrath to max out the Heat level of the archons. Anyone who doesn't do a good enough escaping action will, in addition to being knocked back into the throne room, be killed immediately if they weren't already dead-ified.

Eric uses elemental master, creating a massive shield around himself and Demonologist, giving them both medium/heavy amounts of AC as WELL as counter damage.

Demonologist will settle for murdercating a few more people.

Jest swiftly kicks him in the groin (or some other region that hurts a lot when injured) and bangs his head on Demo's before twisting his arm and sending him flying to a nearby wall. If there are no walls nearby, Jest makes one via the powers of bullshit and bangs Demo's head on it, multiple times.



"Wait, what the absolute fuck!?" Trickle looks at all the blood on his clothes. "God damn it! I don't want to kill a dead body!" however, right as he says that, the Demonologist reforms. "That's more like it!" Trickle chuckles, grabbing his MP35. He loads in a random song, this one appears to be titled "You Reposted in the Wrong Swamp"...? Oh. A meme song. Wonderful. Trickle moves his head up and down to the beat of the song, running up to Demo, twisting the MP35 to the non-shooting side and smashes it on Demo's head. Demo gets angry and tries to slash Trickle, who dodges to the beat. The song, being pretty memey and all accidentally summons none other than... The Meme Team! All of the memes in the world (yes, all of them) explode into Demo.

The veterans form a giant Rage Comic and build up their energy to over nine thousand. Once their energy is strong enough, they yell "amma firin mah lazah" or some other dumb crap like that. Suddenly, an obnoxious set of eyes and giant lips appear on the Rage Comic, blasting a rocket onto Demo. Oh, but this is no ordinary rocket, this is a rainbow rocket. A Nyan Cat rocket. With the rainbow trail and all. Nyan loops around Demo, covering him in rainbows. Why did he do that, you ask? Well, everybody and their mother knows that pink fluffy unicorns usually dance on rainbows. And where there are rainbows, you bet your ass there are pink fluffy unicorns! Demo suddenly gets trampled by pink fluffy unicorns. Nyan Cat returns yet again and creates a storm of rainbows with the help of the unicorns.

But once again, this is no ordinary storm. It's a rude storm. A rude sandstorm. The rude sandstorm, even... Darude - Sandstorm.
All the crappy music memes fly into Demonologist. Gangnam Style, What Does the Fox Say, Trololololo, Never Gonna Give You Up and all of those memes explode into Demo. One of those music memes, of course, is We Are Number One, which belongs to two categories. Obviously, I use this segue to summon a shit ton of "blank" memes, as in "Blank but Blank is Blank", like for example "The Bee Movie but every bee is replaced by You Like Jazz?" something like that. Robbie Rotten slashes Demo apart, riding on Barry B. Benson. He gives him a B on Demonology, which makes Demo so sad that he bites his own finger out of sadness.

However, out from a faraway mountain, a giant baby rises. His name is Charlie. "BITING FINGERS IS MY JOB, FUCKASS!" Charlie yells as he tramples Demo, stomping on him repeatedly.
Well, yeah. That's all I have, I guess.

Trickle suddenly switches back into TrickleJest and everything is cool.

Zack studied the new form that he shares with Hollow. A white mask, grey, sturdy cape-like garment, and a black body behind all of it. Oddly enough, he felt powers similar to those within his blood reserves. Very similar, actually. Similar abilities, even, except a different substance was fuelling it. A sort of soul power gained from hitting foes. It was also much more flexible than his previous blood reserves, allowing any weapon and attack to contribute to the reserves of this power. This was a welcome change of pace from his previous form, allowing the use of any one or combination of his alchemies to power up.

Then he realizes that what blood he used to have had been transformed into soul for his new body. Huh.

It was also worth noting that Zack's signature bow, Alpha Melancholy, had disappeared, as opposed to his other alchemies that just shrunk down to size.

Also of note was the fact that a free spoil would be given. Being more knowledgable about this place than Hollow, Zack chooses the Healing Tray.

As they were wandering about the fortress, still completely unnoticed by the archons due to their size, Alicia contacted them. Teleportation into the spire, huh? Perfect. They were headed there anyway. But upon noting the fact that this was the turn that SONG does a field wipe where the others were, they refuse, shaking their heads. Then they sort of just walk to the spire at their own pace, still casually walking through undetected thanks to being so small. Though I suppose if Alicia transports them there after it happens, then it's alright. If such would be the case, they nod and wait. They don't have too much to do anyway.

Though I suppose if Alicia transports them there after it happens, then it's alright. If such would be the case, they nod and wait. They don't have too much to do anyway.

As the last of you bails from the top of the tower, jumping out the massive hole you feel a hand grasp around your foot

You kick and flail, trying to escape from the iron grip of SONG, only to see a pair of figures come up behind him.

Eric and Demonologist grab hold of SONG, one on each shoulder, and yank him back, you go flying outwards, through the cloud of archons which suddenly scatters as a pulse of light shoots out form the tower, spreading across the server in a massive ring. As you fly back towards the battlefield you see something below you. Flickering shapes, like ghosts. They look at each other, and around themselves, confused. Flickering in and out. The denizens of the Fortress are not quite free, but it seems for now they will remain as they are, trapped within the spell woven throughout the Fortress's stones.

As you leave the outer edges of the wall, you look back, a ring of runic letters, a summoning sphere almost, circles the top of the keep. You're fairly certain who's in there.

It feels unfinished to you, that seal won't hold SONG forever, but for now, the server is free of his influence.

Alrighty then! Everyone! I have it on good authority that Impetus ends this update, so it is official...
The Fortress store-front is open once more! On account of my spoils having been looted, spoil rentals and claims are no longer available.
BUT
All 25 archon types are now available for hire. A google doc with the details of each type, and how much you can get for 1 store credit is listed in the spoiler far below.
Additionally, the Charge connector is open again, so yes, you can string your charges together all willy nilly once more.

+1s sent to me no longer increase store credit. Instead, in order to get +1s, you must +1 the store itself. the store will use those +1s to create pre-generated charges that will be either Hostile or Anti-Godmodder upon their completion. (meaning net gain for you guys).

well, thanks to consumer saying I could reapply all my previous character upgrades, I have 100 charge worth of character upgrades to apply, 150 if you count the 50 post charge I just got tossed. 250 for the 5 20 post chargers. And finally, 300 with the two 25s I have saved up.

Alright, first off, I have the three obsidian armor pieces, that puts me at 3 armor right off the bat. Next off, armor caps at 5, with natural AC costing 15 per point, so I'm down to 270 charge, with 5 armor total. I also purchase 5 natural regen, puttig my charge total down to 195. I then purchase 50% dodge chance, bringing my remaining charge value down to 120. Using this amount, I purchase sanity damage resist, then if I have enough left, integrity damage resist. Any leftover charge I might have afterwards goes to increasing my max health.

I give my other 50 post charge (the summoning only one) to emerald, so he can summon his absurdly powerful regular ninja.

Far away... The Fortress stands silent. Until a loud creaking slowly begins.
The front gate of the massive Fortress slowly, slowly opens, a figure in scorched and scarred armor stumbles out of the Fortress.
Monkeyjoe5 has hit the battlefield! Scarred for life by the things he had to fight through in the past several hours, but now ready to kick the butts of all who need it (or at least, tank his way through half the stuff Alicia throws at him)

He starts this off by unsheathing an enormous claymore and throwing it, end over end right into the minecraft elites.

Then there's a shadow. An enormous fly swatter descends out of the sky, right down on top of the poor, helpless fly.

usages of the 50's
the 'anything' 50: 40 of 50 grants me a personal upgrade that allows me to retain artifacts on death, like I juat did, even if/when it stops being normally possible. the remaining 10 gives the wand of skys the following passive and special:
passive: sky allegiance: gain .05 sky stacks per turn, or if you can't decimalise, then just have the stacks be much less effective. If possible, sky stacks persist in the same way that the damage buff did.
special: skyland: summon one entity with strength scaling based on stacks (details to follow) , or fill permanently increase the max damage boost of the wand by, say, 100 a stack?
entity summonable with skyland: S=stacks used. 4,000*S MHP, 500*S attack, if the stacks used are 5+, gains 5 turn charge 'asteroid' which gives it double action for 7 turns (and can only be used once) , and at 10+ gains skywall, 3 turn charge that gives it protective wall.
Remember: if decimal stacks =no-no, then decrease each stacks effect/ increase the stacks needed for a certain effect by 20 times.

I use my first charge, to summon SONG to summon a Ninja. Not just any ninja, but an Absurdly Powerful Normal Ninja. Abilities include a high dodge chance, poisoned shurikens, Shadow Clone Jutsu and the ability to brandish a katana. I'll leave it to the GM to figure out the stats exactly.

OH I also announce that I'm changing factions to AG

I use my second 50 charge, to create myself a Staff, based on my Staff of White Magic. It's similar, but also different. 50 charges. Each charge restores 5% of Targets Max HP, with a regen rate of 2 per turn, and 10 per turn when emptied (cannot be used until fully charged after being emptied). 10 to Revive a player with 25% HP, (possibly) automatically revives me when I die. 5 charges to get rid of one status effect. And this, I call the Staff of Absolute Healing. It can also convert +'s to charges. As one would expect, I can only use it once per turn

Monkeyjoe charges forwards and slams headfirst into one of the minecraft elites, impaling him on monkeyjoe's specially crafted hat-spikes. Monkeyjoe then proceeds to do a backflip, flinging the minecraft elite high up in the air due to some kind of physics engine glitch. He then carefully sticks a large pike up in the air, right where the minecraft elite comes back down to earth, causing a very painful impalation.

It also has a charged ability called: Guess What This Does. It takes 15 rounds to charge and will have its effect revealed upon proccing.

One of the many people fighting on the battlefield looks up, and sees something small and green falling from the sky. There are couple of soft thunks, and 4 different entities pick up the brand new objects.
They're these, strange sort of greenish cube things. Wonder what they do?
Mechanical effect: 2 AG entities and 2 PG entities now have "green cube" artifacts. Each one is two use only. I'm PMing consumer the stats so you'll have to figure the power out yourselves.

There is another sound, this one sort of... springy? Suddenly a piece of toast flies halfway across the battlefield and smacks a minecraftian in the face! Oh no! IT BUUUUUURNS. Poor random minecraftian dude (it wasn't an elite). The culprit responsible for the sudden toast assault charges its way onto the battlefield. No it's not that guy. It's the thing that he's chasing.
Angry Toaster summoned to the AG team! This is just a generic 3 charge entity with no special abilities at all.
