Siria decides to keep upgrading. Thus, she grabs three Gold Ingots, four Yarn Balls, and a single piece of Magical Cardboard, along with a Healing Aura, although that won't count much because it's a basic item. But it's the thought that counts.

She pulls out her Sniper Charm and unstrings it, stowing away the Origin String for restringing when the Charm itself is upgraded. She melts the Gold into a single molten floating blob, then happily rips the antimagic right out of the Magical Cardboard and tosses the now-fully-magical Magical Cardboard right into the blob, where it melts, infusing its magic into the blob. She tosses the Healing Aura in to sort of tune the magic of the thing, then unravels the Yarn Balls and strips the spookiness right out of them, then just kind of fully dissolves the Yarn Balls into ectoplasm (as they came from ghosts, they're presumably ghostly).

She sets up a sort of steampunk-looking distillery out of random materials that won't actually have any crafting significance here, and pours the ectoplasm in. It whirs, clunks, chunks, and occasionally pings along for a bit, expelling steam from certain ports and draining various extraneous parts of the ectoplasm out through other ports (one specific jar, Essence of Spoop, Siria very carefully disposes of afterwards) before spitting out pure MP in liquid form. Siria promptly manipulates that MP into the blob of mystic gold, causing it to gain a slightly otherworldly look.

Siria holds her hands out and concentrates, and the blob of regeneration-infused gold abruptly spits out a thin stream that proceeds to soak straight into the Sniper Charm as though it were the world's most absorbent sponge. The stream continues draining into the Charm until it's completely consumed, upon which a flash of gold blinds everyone nearby for a second. When vision is restored, the Sniper Charm is highlighted with gold, the runic detailing around the edges filled in with gold and the sniper emblem engraved on both sides gilded as well. Siria pulls out the Origin String, re-strings the charm to form the complete Sniper Charm once again, and re-equips it.

The Sniper Charm now no longer drains 1 mana per turn when no Focus is stored, due to having a bunch of mystic material infused into it that serves as a mana source and bulwark. No other changes. (You may wish to actually give it its own stats on the inventory page instead of saying 'Identical to the Origin String...', now, dawg.)

('+1 DMG, +1 Range to Basic Attacks. 1/5 chance to obtain Focus each turn, which can be expended to give the user Focus.')

Toast decides to give the Jadesaw another whirl, and adopts an epic chainsaw halfway-through-revving stance next to Roxxanne. She provides her audience of the statue with a suitably intimidating speech. And by 'suitably intimidating', I mean that this is the kind of stuff that bards can only dream of singing tales of. People will remember this speech like as if it were written on their hearts, and will speak it like scripture to them. What Toast will have created today will be remembered long after this sentence has ended- long after this paragraph has ended, this post, even! For the sanity of the GM and the my fellow speechgoers, I have no choice but to place this masterpiece in a spoiler. If for some reason you cannot open this spoiler, then you must merely have faith in the quality of the speech, as I am unworthy to repeat this art aloud.

Oh, come to think of it, should probably do actions this turn as well.

Operative pets the freshly-created robot kitty, deciding to hide its presence through vague and annoyingly unknown means, then turns and jumps out of the mini-facility he made for the sake of making the kitty. He doesn't seem to need the armor plating that was used to construct that room anymore...

A few seconds later, he crashes down to join Roxxanne and the others in being a group possibly about to do battle. His landing went smoothly enough. Then, he stares blankly ahead of himself for a few seconds. When he speaks, he doesn't sound very enthusiastic. Monotone, almost. Quite contrasting to his comrades.

"At this point, it would be natural for me to say something encouraging... Thing is, I'm not that kind of guy. That's too optimistic. As far as I'm concerned, the world is a terrible place, people are assholes and liars who will gladly backstab one another for any benefit they can see no matter how small, nobody exists on purpose, and everyone's going to die no matter what they do in the end, so there's no true reason to live or be good. It's a terrible world."

Then, his hand twitches, and he draws his katana out to cross it over his chest.

"But hey, it's still a world. More than that, as far as I care, it might be the only world I ever get to have. And if that's the case, then there's no use being sad about it, since that's not going to change anything and it's just going to piss people off. No matter where I am, I'll be treating the world I'm on like it might be the last world I ever get to see. That means, if something is wrong with that world, it doesn't matter what kind of wrong it is, I'm still going to fight to right that wrong. And I'm not gonna stop fighting until everything that's wrong has been righted, no matter how long that takes or whatever things try to stop me. Once everything has been made right... Well, the fight doesn't stop there, does it? Gotta keep it right, make sure it doesn't slip back into being a shit world where people suffer and die and do shit things to one another."

He pauses to take a quick breather.

"The day I'll ever stop clawing my way back from the afterlife and fighting to make everything right? Heh... That day ain't realistically coming. But if it does, it's gonna be the day where there's no more need for a guy like me anymore. Then, I don't know what I'll do. Probably finally be content with the world, since it'll be a perfect world at last. And, yeah, I know. That's also something that's probably not gonna happen. But that doesn't mean I'm just gonna let the world remain shit. That ain't my thing."

<TURN ONE-HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN>
Teag builds a bed out of 6 Iron Ingots, and 20 Silkweed. You also opt to fill the mattress you've made with Mage Robes. You proceed to enjoy a good night's sleep... which also fully restores your HP and MP. Which was already full, but hey. Battlefury then adds 10000 Compressed Compressed Dog Blocks to the Merciless Flesh, creating the Dogless Flesh! Which according to the name, doesn't have any dog. It decides to revert to the Merciless Flesh, refunding the blocks. You'll probably need to put some effort into this. And a period at the end of your post. Darkside then goes fishing in a pool of lava, and actually manages to get a bite! In your short session, you manage to snag 5 Flarefin Koi's and 8 Obsidifish. No Obsidian Swordfishes, though. Never lucky. Insert then smelts a ton of cages into 25 Titanium Bars total.

Roxxanne does another truckload of stuff. She begins by tallying some results, and determining that Glitch Temmie should be the core. Chloe seems surprised by this.

ga: ...What?
ga: I-I understand...

She sits down quietly, stopping her work for a moment. She's looking somewhat down... Mari then responds to your proposal.

ut: I can create anything, you say...?
ut: Hm...

She spends a minute in thought, pacing around you as she things it all out. A wicked smile crosses her face. She then pivots towards you, and nods her head with something that vaguely resembles grace.

ut: Deal.
ut: Despite how much I despise you...
ut: The reward simply pushes all that aside.

She reaches out and shakes your hand, despite seeing your horns. You then head off to talk with Glitch Temmie, and show tem resurrected Temmie Hero. Glitch Temmie proceeds to glomp the Temmie Hero, which then decides to stand on tem's head for a bit. Glitch Temmie thanks you, the other tem still on tem's head. It's like a totem pole of tem.

"So you really did it! Wonderful! I suppose tem's services in battle would be sufficient payment as a reward? If not, well, don't hesitate to ask. I can assure you that we can pay you for your services."

You then present the Moralsphere to Glitch Temmie, and ask tem to become the new Morality Core.

"Interesting. There's quite a lot to be gained from this so... I'll do it. Consider this part of your reward, too. I'd still do it even if you failed the resurrection, but whatever."

Glitch Temmie proceeds to swallow the Moralsphere. In one gulp. Tem rises up, and flips turnwise in midair, causing the Temmie Hero to fall off, who proceeds to simple roll away. Temmie's body begins to shift and shake, power coursing through tem's veins. Tem smiles, and lets out a powerful h0i that resonates throughout the mindscape. Glitch Temmie then stops levitating, and falls down, landing on tem's head. Tem proceeds to roll over, and sits up as if nothing just happened. Temmie then sees you leaving to go and deliver the donations.

"I'll take those away for you. Don't worry about it."

The Temmie Hero calls over two other tems, who carry over a wooden platform. The four tems arrange themselves under the wooden platform, acting as legs of sorts. Another tem runs over and places your materials on the wooden platform, and ties them down with a bit of rope. They then go and ferry over the materials to the village, and return in record time.

"Thank you for your generous donation, miss Roxxanne. Please take these complimentary Temmie Flakes. Oh, and this coupon."

You obtain 5 Temmie Flakes and a Temshop Coupon, all while you expend 100 Iron, 59 Titanium, 9 Durasteel, 1 Hallowed Bar, and all 250 Wire Bits. You also expend all your Cobblestone. You then buy a Wand, and combine that with an Iron Ingot, 5 Titanium Ingots, 1 Potion, 6 Circuitry Boards, 1 Floating Platform, 1 Diamond, 30 Redstone, 3 Glass Shards, and the Mark of Y'Shaarj card, to make the Magitek Armband for Mari. You then shove it in a box, and toss it under the tree.

To continue your crafting spree, you sneak up on Marron and check out her clothing. You somehow go unnoticed, and then proceed to create the Energy Poncho with Ayaze, the Arrowkun, 40 Redstone, and a Yarn Ball. You then swap for Bloody Eruption. You then make an awesome endgame speech to Chaos, at the Durasteel Statue.

You then grab the statue, and shove it into your inventory. A scale promptly rockets down from the heavens, pulverising the dirt when you once stood; good thing you have high AGI!

A few creatures suddenly appear, seemingly emerging from out of your vision. You're surrounded. What's weird is that even some Scale Serpents have joined in on attacking you; perhaps that's today's "bad stuff" from using the Entropic Fragments in crafting...?

Everyone who says they join the Park battle don't actually appear so they can choose where they spawn, but they reserve spots! Siria then applies 3 Gold Ingots, 4 Yarn Balls, and a piece of Magical Cardboard taped to a Healing Aura to improve the Sniper's Charm! Insert then grinds some MP Orb Basic Items and covers his robes in MP Powder. This doesn't do much. At all. Toast then drops the most legendary speech upon the Mindscape.

Absolutely nobody applauds... except for Chaos, who loved your build up, and the joaje as a whole. I decide to skip the crafting portion of the Author's post, so he can have ample time to add to it later.

Meanwhile, team NPC makes progress on their presents. Marron manages to create another present in record time, and stashes it under the tree. She seems to be lost in thought as to what to do for Toast. She decides to call her over, and ask.

tc: Hey, Toaster!
tc: Got anything you might want me to make?
tc: I'd be happy to take a request for you.

Chloe seems to be nearly done with her gift, and convinces Ette to go and make something for a few people. Mari, however, doesn't seem to be making anything for anyone. Boo.

Being me, I forgot to do anything.

Auth fires a snide glance to beyond the Fourth Wall, for someone's last post failed.

Auth walks over to the Omnidisciplinary Crafting Station. Then he realizes that he actually needs something Roxxanne has at the moment to craft the gift he intends for her.

So he walks over to the Park just before Roxxanne starts her speech. He sits down on a park bench as the speaks, and after she finishes, Auth stands up to give genuine applause. Not the snarky applause, actual, sincere applause.

That was awesome, Roxxanne. Wonderful.

Then Roxxanne takes the Statue.

I... uh... Somehow, I don't think that is going to end well, Roxxanne. At all.

Chaos, if you wish to Scale her, I would ask that you would scale me instead.

In the meantime, Auth asks Roxxanne if he can borrow the Skeletron Prime Mask.

After he obtains it, he takes it back to the Omnidiciplinary Crafting Station. He makes:

Skeletron Prime Mask, 1 Cardboard, 5 Durasteel, 10 Titanium, 10 Souls of Fright, 1 Circuit Board.

Effects:

+1 AGI, +1 STR, +1 to Summon Damage, 4 Actions if no weapon is wielded, summons a Mechanical Skeleton when the user enters a battle.

He makes it by first placing the mask on the table. He melts down some Durasteel ant Titanium, forging a Duranium(?) Alloy of the two. Auth takes some Magical Cardboard. He protects the place for the eyes, mouth and the nose using it, and slots the remainder of the cardboard into the mask, with the features remaining unblocked from the inside. He pours the alloyed metal over the mask. It is successfully covered in it, and extracts the cardboard protecting the major facial features, so a person can breathe and see out of the mask. Taking a small knife, he carefully marks in details, such as placements for wiring and skull motifs, due to the original form of the mask. Auth takes a circuit board, and carefully places it in the mask so it won't be uncomfortable to someone wearing it. Afterwards, he tests the thing. He can see through it just fine, breathe fine... and a mechanical skeleton appears next to him after he puts it on.

Ah hah! This should be perfect!

Auth takes it back off, and goes to the Park again. he gives the reforged mask to Roxxanne. But not before equipping his gifts from Toast and Roxxanne, the Binding Hatstack and Armoured Mage Robes.

Merry Early Christmas, Roxxanne! I'd wait until the day to give this to you, but I didn't want to cripple your new build until then.

Auth bows after she takes the mask again, and leaves the Park, looking just a little disappointed that he can't join the Scale Fight.

Hmm. Quality trinkets are hard to come by... but I some sort of plan for what I'm going to do with the Ember and Fallen Angel. So... maybe something cool for the Jadesaw- or even Limit Break if that's somehow possible.

Toast shrugs, and smiles warmly, then excuses herself to do some crafting.

She then grabs the purple solution, a single diamond, three pieces of medical herbs and a hallowed bar, and gets to crafting a Green Solution. Given that this is a fairly 1:1 crafting sequence, I'll keep this short and sweet. Toast molecularly destablises the diamonds, transmogrifying them into a fine powder. She then grinds up the medical herbs using the same mortar and pestle she used a couple of turns ago. Afterwards, the hallowed bar is heated up and stretched out into a grate-like shape, and Toast pours the ground herbs and diamond dust through it. Some of the bar's holy magic is transferred into the combined powder, which she places in a small (and inevitably arbitrary) pouch. With the materials she has at her disposal, that's gonna have to be enough. Toast then 'uses' the particularly empowered powder on the Purple Solution.

In case I wasn't clear, what Toast had just made was Purification Powder, or at least a slightly better substitute for it. Since the Purple solution is Corruption-oriented, it naturally should be purified by the Purification Powder. So, she ends up with one particularly green Green Solution. Marvellous.

Finally, she brushes the dust off the old clentaminator and uses the newly made green solution to convert some of the cinder trees to their regular variants, by Terraria logic. She specifically targets the ones that Soup would be cutting down, meaning that we should get a large quantity of wooden planks, especially due to the magical properties of the Green Solution she used. The wood she collects, then turns into planks, and sends about 500-750 to the temmies.

Afterwards, she joins the Charitomb fight.

Roxxanne moves to G9 and uses a Splash Enchant Weapon on herself as the center; this means the Temmie Hero, Ally Scale Serpent, and the enemy Scale Reaper will also get the +7 DMG buff for any melee attacks. She then employs Counter, and then attacks the Scale Reaper twice with her basic attack. The best case scenario has Roxxanne managing to kill this thing with one hit and a counter-hit The Ally Scale Serpent will move to E8 and smack the Scale Serpent1 with its newfound insane damage. The Temmie Hero will use the Temmie Herobow on the Scale Serpent2, then move towards it and use Spinning Flakes for what is likely its death. I'm fairly sure that the only melee attack the Temmie Hero has is its Tem Fists. It will skip the other two moves, for now.

@Everyone: Stay out of the way of the Scale Behemoth. Range 2 of it is a no-go, but it's harmless outside of that range.

@Jon: A friendly reminder you now have the Over Easy, which is not a gun but a Frying Pan. But go ahead, smack it anyways.

@Pricey: Mindcrush one of those Scale Beasts on-spawn.

@Everyone Else: Focus on taking down the other Scale Beasts. We won't have to worry about the Crimson Scale until we have well softened up our opposition, and by the time we'll need to break it we should be able to break down the Scale Behemoth easily.

@Walkthrough: I request the Skeletron Prime Mask, the Crimson Serpent Robes, the Medal of True Heroism (Butterfly if you shortchange this article i'mma smack you so hard), Scalebrine, Mari!Xavier (wherever she'd go), and recommendations for Marron and Gladius'es builds. Like, specifically those two NPCs.

Ah, yes, the Hotline Fishing Hook. A fishing rod simply made to fish in Lava. The one I pulled out of thin air along with some bait not too long ago. I think I'll have a better chance of getting something decently rare if I actually make the thing from scratch, and use woodworms as bait later. Hey, nobody's gonna be using them, so why not?

Right then. So. I take the bottled up Flarefin Koi and the Obsidifish. Fish lovers, look away! 'Cause this is gonna be violent. (Not that any of you would care anyway)

I force all of the Koi into a singular jar, and proceed to compress them into a small lump of compressed fire the only way I can describe it; MAGIC. I then take the Obsidifish, and bash them with a hammer in order to smash them to bits (Shouldn't be too hard; Terraria obsidian is frail compared to the Minecraft variant). This makes the fish really easy to melt into something more usable, and thus, I melt it into an ingot or two.

I proceed to create the base of the rod out of 1 1/2 Hallowed Bars; the long pole that every fishing rod has, even the gorillay ones like the wooden one; and the hooks that the line travels through. I proceed to use the other half to create a hollow, airtight bobber, a mid-weight, solid hook, and a heavy, solid sinker. I also carve out a Cinder Log to go around the bobber, for that little bit of extra buoyancy and fire protection.

Using a bit of the Obsidian from the fish, I create the handle for the fishing rod (seems it's gonna be coated in fire in a moment), and attach it to the bottom of the rod. I also coat the line holders in some of the stuff, to prevent the line from burning. I put some more around the bobber, hook, and sinker for fire resilience. I proceed to add in an optional barbed tip to the hook as well. I use a moderate amount of obsidian to create the... thing that you reel in with... at the base of the fishing rod around where the handle is, creating the mechanisms entirely out of the stuff. Hey, don't ask me how it suddenly got so sturdy.

Thus, we come to the line. I take the Yarn Ball, and spin it to an extremely thin, yet extremely high tensile strength, suitable for a fishing rod. It's long enough for the job as well. But, because fire, I've also woven it with the remaining obsidian from the fish, finishing the job by weaving it through the pole's line holders, tie one end to the reeling device thing, and feed it through the buoy, the hook a little further down, and the sinker a little further down again. I tie the respective parts into the line (mechanism, bobber, hook, sinker), and reel in the line in order to actually do a thing more effectively.

Now, time for the last thing. With the small-ish burny thing from the koi, I infuse the Hallowed Rod, Bobber, Hook, and Sinker with the flames of the fish, allowing the complete ability to fish in lava, as well as any other substance, like honey or the dreaded water. The leftover fire thing was put into the obsidian line, bobber, hook, and sinker, for that little extra vibrance.

I test it out by releasing an Obsidifish into a controlled area of lava, and fish it back out again, confirming that it works.

RESULT: Hotline Fishing Hook. Can fish in any known mindscape substance. Could also be a weapon of sorts...? Eh, Idunno.

Though, I'm not exactly done yet.

INPUT: Flarefin Koi (x1), ObsidiFish (x1), Glass Shards (x4)

I fire up the Glass Shards in a Glass Kiln, and proceed to make fish bowls out of them. Two of them, in fact.

I then use a lava-resistant enchant and spray on them, before scooping up lava and putting it into them and applying some magics to make sure the lava stays its face-melting temperature. I also thin it out a bit via magics so that it's actually translucent enough to see stuff inside it. I think you know where I'm going with this.

I take the Flarefin Koi and put it in one of the bowls, and the Obsidifish in the other.

RESULT: Flarefin Fishbowl (x1), Obsidifish Fishbowl (x1). Filled with lava and their respective fish.

I proceed to place the Flarefin Fishbowl (while keeping it steady) and place it in a flame-resistant box as to deter the heat from the lava accidentally lighting the entire Christmas party area on fire. He wraps it up in nice giftwrap, sticking a bow on it, placing a "WARNING: DO NOT TURN THIS PRESENT ON ITS SIDE OR UPSIDE-DOWN" label on it, and addressing it to none other than Chloe. He moves it near the tree and slightly away from the other presents, given its nature as freaking lava and a flaming fish.

I decide to keep the Obsidifish Fishbowl for myself, to bring me a bit of extra luck while I continue fishing.

This time, with an actual Hotline Fishing Hook and actual bait. I stick a woodworm to the hook, and cast the line out into the deep lava.

Chlorin rips off the covers from the blank Books. He then folds some mage robes, magically gets some duct tape, and tapes on the mage robes as the new covers. He then uses the "soften" option on the Crafting Station to soften the book covers into Leather.
