Siria lets NumberSoup take the missile, races across the island, grabs the Hunter Potion, and ducks into the Fissure, emerging near Piono. She takes a swig and then, if there's enough, gives Aaron/Piono a gulp as well. As I fully expect we'll see a giant mechanical worm tunneling through the earth, she then readies her Mass Driver for battle.

Mistri hail-marys towards the television and cuts the VCR. The tape pops out as she grabs it and throws it towards the now-fleeing-for-the-nearest-ship Patch, who somehow is able to grab onto it.

Mistri then shrugs and walks away.

In unrelated news, PitTheAngel's BBCode wizardry has achieved a new breakthrough in that bold, italics, underlines, and colors can now be used in titles. He's already changed his title to reflect this new development.

The Operative now stares at the Scale Beast at L11. He pauses for a second, then takes a step forward, over to L10, and activates Counterhappy due to doubting his ability to hit the Scale Beast through a 25% dodge chance. He also turns and notices the Spire Launcher off in the distance... and makes an expression of disappointment and frustration at seeing that there's NOBODY THERE. Cause, ya know, it'd be nice and convenient if someone were to suddenly fire a splinter across the map and oneshot a scale beast...

Insert does the chisel-thing again with a piece of golden bark, obtaining 1 Gold. He then expends the last Scroll of Fireball, a Titanite Shard, 5 Durasteel and the Salt on a Stick to create the Saltfury. Well. Now it has a 25% chance to Fireball whatever you happen to bash over the head with it. Toast then changes a FILL requirement, then plays the Salt(?) Machine, spending 1 Gold.

(5)-(8)-(7): Nothing happens.

Sunny then defuses a bomb, making some people on the T-Side angry. He then creates the Computer-Assisted Sight. This finally produces a usable... accessory. But hey, it's something. Aaron then walks towards the Anti-Ship missile, and goes to lift it, but the rumbling of the room knocks him off balance. Siria rushes into the room, and downs a hunter potion, none left for Aaron. Under the effects of the potion, she can see a gigantic mechanical worm burrowing up towards him! She heroically tackles Piono out of the way, both of them narrowly missing evisceration via worm.

The worm's head, and quite a few body segments are sticking out of the ground. A moderate-sized mechanical red eye glares at both players, locking onto both of them. It's lost the ability of surprise, but it'll still be a tough foe to slay...

Meanwhile, Numbersoup loots a missile. It's teleported via method of stage-relevant item straight to Gladius, and fired directly at the incoming ship! It takes a fair deal of damage, and delays it, granting 1 extra turn to the Turn Timer!

Mabuz then joins the battle at the Furniture Graveyard, while Patch uses Summon, appear-ifying Mistri officially! She rushes over to the television, and cuts the VCR, and throws it to Patch. He catches it, and flees to the Ship. The secretaries follow in close pursuit, but not before all casting Snap Neck on Teag, twisting his neck around a full 360-degrees, killing him instantly! Mistri manages to flee the scene, reuniting with Patch as the neck-snapping occurs. Teag respawns at the ship, but he won't be able to join a fight with the secretaries if one starts...

Redstone then walks to Bill, and realizes that yes, he has in fact, given out a quest. Kirika then throws another paper airplane, and awaits another response...

The foes have been slain! Participating players have been given skillpoints, but the Spire Launcher was fired this battle; it'll need some effort to reload!
Plan now; who'll fight the secretaries, who'll fight the Destroyer, and who'll do other things?

I'll prolly do other stuffs, since anything else strikes me as a bad idea. The secretaries AND the destroyer have fire resistance anyway. I could use Shifting Sands to gtfo but I'll want the MP for rezzing insert, should he die in the Core.

And, once again, Mistri takes the lead by rushing straight into C7 of the core fight, with Patch following close behind at C6. (it was specified that a summon was used)

I am so lucky I can make it out of this place in one turn.

Also, I've found that Fire damage actually makes my weapon worse. There are a ton of things that have Fire resistance and very few that have weakness to it. Ire resistance is where it's at.


EDIT: Hey, do you think I should briefly swap for the Flaming Toaster and nuke the destroyer with an Origin Blaze Rod?
