@crystal: Makes sense, especially considering the recent dog overflow that broke the inventory and all. And I like anti-stupid measures like what you're doing.
But then again, inventory police roam the inventory frequently nowadays, but whatever. The other part also makes some sense as well. To be honest, I'm curious to see how you'll handle the Pulse Rifle, and to see what you've got in store after. @Tazz @Engie: Hm... why not both of you attack at the same time for combined damage? That way, both of your endings/finishers can go through, we get the gold, Chairiel dies earlier, and everyone's happy that it's finally over. Honestly, how hard can something like that be? /null Originally posted on 2016-03-27 04:35:00 -------------------- "...I will aid them. No matter the cost to myself."

=TURN NINETY-FIVE=
Engie loots the Hollowed Egg. It remains there in spirit so that people who simply want to find the eggs can find it, but the Secretaries seem angry. Then they all suddenly blink away; that was simple. Toast then offers one of her future selves to Tem. Tem accepts, and gives you the egg. Future/Past Toast is then wisked away somewhere... ...Current Toast then takes (10-1) damage, due to things that happened to Past Toast. Toast suddenly regrets her decision, and also fails to get more residue. Siria then goes absolutely insane in the crafting department, upgrading Dark Teag's Forge to the Omnidisciplinary Crafting Station! Siria then repairs the Broken Pulse Rifle, obtaining the Pulse Rifle! It's a highly modified version of the Rifle, that deals Lightning damage! She consumes 5 Durasteel, 50 Wire bits and 4 Titanium ingots in the process. Siria also upgrades the Scanner, creating the Scanner MK2! It's basically the same as the regular scanner, but with a few changes; whenever you attack a foe, you get to roll an additional die; if you'd hit with that roll, your attack gets +1 DMG! Looks like there's no actual downside to it; huh. This expends 5 Titanium, 15 Clear Round Stones, and 50 Wire Bits. You also change the Origin String to a Sniper Charm. I guess we're at that point in which Direct Upgrades are actually a pretty okay idea; we're halfway through the game and the feeling of progress would be cool. Siria then caps off her chain of events by purchasing a handful of Neopets items; a Scroll of Ultranova, a Bag of Infinite Neggs, an Everlasting Apple, a Metal Mote, an Expert Lens, and an Ancient Shenkuu Cannon. Kirika then fails to trade for the egg (as the party already has it). Battlefury, before he can get banned from creating Dog items ever again, upgrades his equipment with dog. This takes 100 Compressed Dog Blocks. He feel a strange compulsion to become a dog now. Insert then sweeps up the Hollowed Bark, obtaining 15 pieces of it, along with 3 combat-grade splinter piles. Engie then fails to craft an axe out of dog. Darkside then takes to the forge as well, expending 15 Titanium Ingots, a Potion and a Green Orb to create the Augmented Titanium Plating. Looks like it's traded 1 of the base HP for +1 HP Regen; it must be some negative effects of the Red Orb or something. So, that's +3 MHP, +1 AC and +1 HP Regen. Engie then suddenly deals an extra (8) damage because crit. The total %damage is now 30.3% of Chairiel's HP. Engie and Roxxanne then agree to WOMBO COMBO Chairiel for lethal. ...Roxxanne then fails to feed Glitch Temmie (weapon). Looks like it'll only eat in battle; somebody needs to use it! Chaos then keeps telling you that you aren't begging nearly hard enough for the Begg. Eggs obtained: Tem Egg: Toast opens the egg to find three tem flakes. Huh. Hollowed Egg: You find the Derivation Tome! It seems to be a pretty high damage spell. Pinary Egg: An Auto-Pinary pops out of the egg, targetin- ERROR: PLAYER_ID(Twin) DOES NOT EXIST! ERROR ERROR- The Auto-Pinary explodes. You obtain a Pinarium Ingot. =BATTLE: AMALGAM RUSH, TURN THIRTEEN= Chairiel is gibbed rather quickly by combination of Tazz and Engie, dealing a grand total of (62) damage in one blow. ALL players have 3 more skill points, and there's lots of interesting new gear around thanks to Crystal's efforts, as well as the drops that the eggs and the whole Amalgam Rush gave you! But with all that out of the way... ga: I'd say now would be a good time to get in the ship. ga: But if you REALLY want, we could do the new and mysterious Bonus Round orb... ga: Player Cap: 9. Probably not a good idea to split the party at this point, though. Maybe use it during some downtime later? I have a feeling there'll be an opportunity in the middle of Zone 3. This is officially the LAST TURN to vote on ships. Make this count! If the Foe Rush / other events aren't triggered, the not-romantic ship takes off next turn. SHIP VOTES: Darkside (4) Generic Type B (2) USS Ben Drowned (1) Teag (1) Numbersoup (1) Toast (1) Tazz (5) Originally posted on 2016-03-28 01:29:00 -------------------- |

FC: Wowch.
FC: I remember(?) that. FC: I'm surprised I haven't healed that by now. FC: How did my past self not have any health regen? Toast plusses the INT stat so that at some point she can steal the SPC orb. BECAUSE FACE IT TAZZ IT WORKS BETTER ON ME. SO MUCH BETTER. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT SCREAMS WHAT MY SPECIAL IS MADE FOR. FLAVOUR, CERTIANTY, BONUSES FROM HEALING. AT LEAST ONE OF THOSE IS RELEVANT TO TOAST. Originally posted on 2016-03-28 02:15:00 |

Anyways, while the dop is happening, I do a not-battle-related thing:
I grab the incredibly resistant egg and throw it in the forge. I the grab the Fahrienheit, Infernal Torment, 3 Incindiary Bits, and the Red Gem, and use them all to create a ridiculous temperature to melt it. Pretty much everything fire related, except the Origin Blaze Rod. Also, I hand the Infernal Torment back to Toast. Hopefully that will do a thing. Also, Tazz's ship is kinda flawed. It will be near-impossible to reach the teleporters, and the coffee machine won't heal the subsystems. The door really should be at the top, it would make it way better. Soooooo... for now, I remove my vote. Sorry to be rude, but it's just how I feel. Originally posted on 2016-03-28 05:09:00 -------------------- It was inevitable.

I'm pretty sure Chairiel is dead, so...
Skillpoints, +1 to INT immediately, which, with the SPC orb, gives me the 10% bonus chance on my special. In the interest of not dying as much, I also buff up my HP by 2 points, bringing me up to 18 (1.5 rule). Now, with my time out of combat...I take our infinite supply of spellbooks from the char. creation inventory and rip apart some of them until I have the considerable deal of paper I desire, magic possibly included within the pages. With the paper obtained, I then take the 3 elemental gems and some of the cardboard from the inventory, and finally my shuriken stack. I break apart the effectively infinite pile of shuriken's metal, turning it into a straight and VERY thin rectangle. With that done, I proceed to take the paper and cardboard and create playing cards (you see I need the cardboard because its harder than regular paper so it's not merely flimsy paper, and also magic and possibly waterproofing) with them, folding them over the top of the metal sheets, until I have literally 3 decks worth of cards to screw with in the result here. I now have made a stack of cards equivalent to my stack of shuriken-which is the easy part. I proceed to do magical humbo-jumbo involving the 3 crystals and the magic stuff in the cardboard and paper. And yes, it is magical humbo-jumbo, thank you very much, that is in fact E X A C T L Y what it is called by the big fancy archmages up on their tall towers with their pointy hats and long robes and eyebrows that grow ridiculously long. That is the exact terminology and there is no arguing it. IN any case, this is basically tapping into the Spellbook's ability to increase with magical aptitude, decreased due to the size of the cards-though their small size serves well for fast hands. The Elemental Gems merely catalyze the process-they may also grant optional elemental modifiers like how Bill's Cane does it (except more limited because there's only 3 gems), but this is strictly optional and I would kind of prefer it to be mandatorily non-damage typed to ignore resistances. This is enhanced because, due to a long and complicated series of events that lead up to me, Roxxanne, eating and thus assimiliating Dark Godcat and therefore technically qualifying as the 'god' these stones are supposed to summon, well...They react harder than if I wasn't technically the cat-goddess of destruction. DOES IT NEED FURTHER REASONING THAN THAT? I DO NOT THINK SO. ...That may have been why the EBF crew were fighting us btb, sorry! ![]() In any case, with the magical catalyzation done, the resulting weapon-the Magical Deck-should retain the scaling with AGI traits of the previous while also incorporating half-scaling with...SCP. Not INT surprisingly-INT would encourage stacking INT high and SPC is the stat I really want high because I want my special to be awesome. This does make raising STR next-to-useless. If done well enough, this may warrant an elemental modifier...Probably just between Fire/Ice/Lightning though, or something. I would prefer non-elemental if it came down to it. Also, I think that last time we had it we had five votes for my ship and it really didn't change much? That would make me the winner. Originally posted on 2016-03-28 06:04:00 |

@Battlefury: No, then No. You are not getting anything Dog ever again. You're banned forever. FOREVER forever. Holding Dog Items is part of the ban.
We really shouldn't have ever done this whole dog thing to begin with because I have a suspicion that the Dog Ingots and such are actually, and I mean ACTUALLY useless. At this rate I'm considering just putting a vote to shove all of it in a portal to oblivion so we never have to deal with it again. This whole shit is giving me a headache and I really don't think the infinite Slingshot is worth it for slightly higher DPS. Originally posted on 2016-03-28 17:42:00 |

I don't think we even need that many blocks. I'd toss the rest, but i got banned. Perhaps we should see if the compressed ones deal more than the normal ones and if not toss them into hell and be done with them. It seem that dog Items cause a minor HP reduction in exchange for being able to become a dog upon death. So in otherwords, not worthless, but a bit risky. /null Originally posted on 2016-03-28 19:37:00 -------------------- he he

Ok. Firstly, I apply those 3 skillpoints to 1 point of AGI, then immediately buy Muton Armor and equip it. Same stats overall, except for a loss of 1 INT, but I now have 2 AC and an extra 5 HP.
I remove my vote from DarkSide's ship and vote instead for Redstone's ship. Explicitly because it will never win. Siria takes out NumberSoup's Toxic Mail (stolen from them through a long chain of events involving them willingly giving it to Siria in order to improve it) and a Cloak of Concealment from Basicitemlandia. She immediately begins to craft them together, dissolving into a cloud of nanobots and cueing up both the forge and magical parts of the Omnidisciplinary Crafting Station. Firstly, she grabs 5 Mage Robes from the inventory and tosses them into what looks like a modified refinery. Condensed magic begins to flow from them, and she channels that into some type of stasis field where the Cloak of Concealment lies waiting. The Cloak is hit by the wash of magic and begins to dissolve, its AGI-increasing magic being caught by the field and bolstered by the rest of the magic. Meanwhile, the dodge-granting part of the Cloak flies sadly away, lamenting that nobody seems to like it. Siria tosses another Cloak into the stasis field, the magic flowing into it and making it fairly hum with condensed energy. Siria cuts this bolstered cloak into thin strips about an inch wide, before grabbing five Iron Ingots and shaping them into staples. She begins to attach the strips to the mail, binding spells fusing the abilities of the two together, until the mail is so coated with cloth strips that it doesn't even look like mail anymore, looking more like masses of layered cloth strips that ooze with poison sufficient to give any attacker a nasty surprise. The Toxic Mail has been upgraded to the Toxic Swathing, hopefully losing its AGI penalty at the very least. She then decides to improve her "Longbow" while she's at it. She begins to take it apart, the rifle getting all of its parts spread out, before cueing up the forge. She grabs 6 Durasteel Ingots (And then hides the rest away from Pricey, or at least tries to, because creativity on that level won't do much. I think.) and 75 Wire Bits. Yes, 75. She also grabs 5 Iron Ingots, 1 Titanium Ingot, and 1 Durasteel Ingot for its ammunition. Firstly, she begins to create the new propulsion system for the barrel. Coils of wire are wound around the barrel, which itself is now durasteel, transforming the gun into a multistage coilgun whose projectile is accelerated faster and faster by stages of magnetic fields. The gun's case is rebuilt with durasteel, the wires are covered over with more of the same, and a sophisticated computer system is installed in the back while Siria's working - to coordinate the firings of the gun down to the microsecond. Those wire coils won't do any good if they fire off at the wrong time, after all. After the gun is finished, with a projectile velocity out of the barrel several times that of its previous incarnation, only losing its rifling, she begins her work on the ammunition. The iron is alloyed with carbon to create an extremely strong steel, before Siria disassembles one of her arms and creates a gas of titanium and nitrogen in an environment that's otherwise a vacuum. She quickly begins her work, forging a massive amount of steel bullets that are then jacketed with durasteel, sharpened to a point, and coated with a thin film of titanium nitride for maximum penetration. Upon loading, the bullet is held in position by an energized coil, spun by an electromagnet for spin stabilization. Once the trigger is pulled, the holding coil is switched off and the stages of other coils are then activated sequentially, pulling the steel in the middle of the bullet forward through magnetism and translating to an extremely high muzzle velocity and massive penetrating power. Siria renames this refined, augmented gun the "Longbow" Experimental Mass Driver. @consumer
cc: sign here, please. A contract -ify's in front of you. He seems to think that you're serious. Oriko reads the contract... THE PRO-CHAOS CONTRACT [small](formatted by someone who can use capital letters and the like)[/small] 1. By signing this contract, you are hereby bound to my command. Kinda. 2. You will instantly obtain 8 Skillpoints. 3. You will obtain the legendary ability to possess (and control) one non-boss monster at a time in all encounters. This monster will be able to move during the AC's moves, thus throwing them off or disrupting actions. 4. You can throw yourself into most encounters, at any time. If you die during a battle, you'll need to be revived by a fellow monster, or simply join a new battle. (with the exception of Zone 3) Killing players will grant you 1 skillpoint each. You can still retreat during these times, and you also act like a "phase mob". 5. If you die three times, you're a piece of gorilla and will be promptly fired out of a cannon, and lose 11 Skillpoints. You can then rejoin the AC's for all I care. 6. You're gonna need to pass an initiation test. (I actually never really planned for PC players to be a thing, but I think it'll be interesting. Any ideas for PC gameplay?)
