Strix moves to I9, casts Mana Ripper on himself, bashes Alerter1 on the head-analogue, then "retreats" to I10.

"Oh hi there Mocha."

Java panics and quickly releases a burst of shining white light at the Reaper, casting Shinebright

Auth sighs as his heal soundly fails to do anything. He notices Mocha on very low health, and so, going as early as possible, he moves to D7, and casts Curaga on E8. This should heal a majority of his allies, while also not healing the enemies. Which is good.

Mocha thanks Auth for the heal, and then notices Strix.

"Hiya~ ♡"

She then moves to D12 and casts Nightmare!Psywave at Infester2, if it isn't already dead. If it is, she fires a regular Psywave at Infester1.

Friendly Reminders:
Nightmare![spell] is ths form of that spell that deals Dark DMG instead of whatever it would usually.

Damage for these scale at 1/2 SPC.

Contritum - Round 3

Not a whole lot of enemies left right now. In fact, counting the droid that's been sent out to provide aid, you outnumber what's left. However, watch the bottom right part of the map closely. While it's certainly not reinforcements for the current batch of enemies you know, it's definitely something that might be an issue...


BATTLE PROGRESS - Round 3. While the Defaced numbers thin out, The Abandoned have made an appearance. Time has taken a toll on these ancient constructs, but they are still every bit as lethal as their creators made them to be, and every bit as much of a threat as the Defaced themselves. (Bit of a pain doing the variable stats gimmick for them, but on the other hand it's also cool, so.)

Chinook moves to E10 and activates Bunker Mode.

Morningstar acts after Mocha.

Morningstar: You have my gratitude.

Morningstar freezes for a moment, then bursts into life, leaping over the rubble to H15. On the way down, he puts the full force of his buffed momentum into a swing of his hammer at the RDrone.

(The RDrone and anything else that enters my ZoC will get trait debuffs.)

Strix basic attacks the Alerter, then retreats to K8.

'Splodimus moves to (D6), since it is one of the only spots where he'd be safe to be. He activates Supercharge, granting him Swift(1) and Empowered(2) for the next round.

Java moves on to G8 and makes sure the Reaper doesn’t get up. With a staff smack

Mocha isn't quite able to understand what SED's trying to say, but sensing his happiness, she gives him a things up and flashes him a small smile. Noticing the new enemies, Mocha shuffles over to F9 where she meets someone who seems massive to her, Morningstar.

"Oh... h-hi!"

Mocha looks up at Morningstar, then over at the Abandoned, and then back up to Morningstar. She comes up with something that looks a bit like a plan.

"I've got an idea. I'm gonna give you a speed boost, and together we can take these Abandoned out like nothing. Should be a piece of cake!"

Mocha seems slightly distracted at her own mention of cake, before focusing back onto the battle.

"Oh, right. Aura Augmentation: Swift!"

Morningstar is enchanted with Swift2 for three rounds. Mocha seems mostly satisfied with her work.

Auth quickly and quietly tags Java with a blast of Teneveil. She'll need it, seeing as she's going to be wide open...

Contritum - Round 4

Battle will be over soon, I promise. Then we can get around to, um, uh... exploring, I suppose. Maybe talking with one another. Whatever it is people do when they're not fighting things.


BATTLE PROGRESS - Round 4. Probably best to charge in there and start killing them all, aye? It's two snipers and two drones, probably not that much of a threat to a team of like seven people.

Chinook loads a Gust round and shoots Sniper1.

Morningstar moves to J13 and attempts to smash the SWmech.

(The RDrone and the SWmech both have Halo debuffs until they move away from me.)

'Splodimus moves to (H7) due to Swift(1), and fires at ElemSniper2.

Java makes her way to H10 and points at the Warmech, a burst of confusing energy extending from her finger towards the mech. Confuse Ray cast.
With that done, she shifts slightly to H11 with Retreat (I think I have 1 retreat at least)

Auth would like to use a healing spell on someone to keep everyone alive. Unfortunately, he doesn't have 70+ Mana with 3 MP Regen like he does in Thymium, and so he has to meditate.

Strix goes to M6, then bonks EleSnip1 on the head.
