I recently remembered that this community exists and stumbled upon this forum, noticing that it appears to somehow have stayed active despite most other things seemingly having gone inactive. Is anyone still here? What games are active? Is Twin still active, and is there any way to contact him? Is this the best place to contact the community, or are there better ones? Does anyone happen to know the context of this? Is Talist still around, and is the Hunger Games simulator with stats and stuff from the Forge threads still a thing? Could anyone give me a rundown of the lore, as I have forgotten basically everything in my absence? I'm unlikely to join any games, but if anyone has any ideas for games I could join, please suggest me them

Hey NinjaV! Welcome back!
Yeah, a lot of people are still here, the Discord has almost a hundred people on it, although in varying stages of activity.
Twin's not active in DTG anymore, except for his personal project Meanwhile In The Future.
The best place to contact the community is in the Discord, the link to which can be found in the Location Directory thread in the Forum Discussion section.
The context of that particular animation is the end of Probect Pinary, the ARG that Twin was running for a while.
Talist is still around sorta, but the Hunger Games are sadly not.
Lore varies from game to game, as the main series has ended, and everything is scattered about between smaller sessions now. It's okay though, a lot of people are in the community just to chat nowadays.

Anyways, for games. If you want to rejoin a session, it depends on what you're looking for.
My personal recommendation is Moniker's (previously TT2000) Defeat the Godmodder, which is pretty big but a bit over halfway done.
If you want a small, goofy game just for shenanigans though, you could join my session, Goofmodder.
A handful of other good sessions are around too, DTG: Corporation and DTG: Through Fire and Flames come to mind.

I read up on a bunch of stuff on Probect Pinary the wiki, and I comprehend even less now than I did before, though I must commend Twin on his awesome work and whoever runs the wiki on maintaining it. I've personally never really gotten the hang on Discord (though I may join you if I ever get it).

Also, call me Feline. I saw that you're a fellow Cosmere fan, I happen to run a blog which mostly consists of reblogged Cosmere content alongside other fandom stuff and the extremely rare original post

I may end up joining Goofmodder if I ever find the time and motivation to do so
