Making Ryanth lie down, Simeon takes out his lithotome, and plunges it into Ryanth's wounds. The edges of the device fuzz as it enters the body, and quickly causes the injured tissue to reknit itself.

"A 16-year-old Dream Courier" (in Terry's description) is then edited to "A 17-year-old Courier of the Dreaming Dead".

"We're trying to save Writerdude. This mindscape is his. He's come down with some sort of sickness or perpetual nightmare thing, and we're trying to stop it.

The specter floats over to the nearest enemies and decides to say a few words to them directly.
"You will all live boring, pointless lives in which nothing of note is accomplished and eventually you will die with nothing to show for it," he says, voice dripping with melodrama, "Now how about you allow us to pass, or we'll continue proceeding in this back and forth back and forth fashion until one of us eventually drops dead from our hosts becoming too old to move, and even then we'll be stuck here."

At that, the specter returns to the boy, still as unsatisfied as when he started his torment. The boy looks confused about this whole diplomacy thing, and leaves it to other people.

Mustache Girl is probably thinking to herself either 'predictable' or 'wow that worked'. Probably the former. Rangers were typically considered cowards.

She leans against the barrier next to her, weapon sheathed and shockingly calm.
"See, the only reason we attacked you guys was because you insisted on getting in the way before you even knew what was going on."
She points towards the bridge again. "Those guys on the bridge? They prodded us with their swords and stuff without asking what we were doing there. None of us wanted trouble... unless you don't want to be associated with them; then, I apologize."
She glances at the Mindscape Courier, Terry, for a split second. "In fact, we may as well be helping you. As that guy said, if we don't help a guy somewhere in here, you're all gonna die. There ain't no afterlife, either."
Mustache Girl suddenly becomes darker and more... philosophical in tone. "If you still insist on hindering us, then... are you really the good guys you say you are? Are you just as bad as those you hate; the creatures of the dark?"
She continues; "Would you engage in cutting us off knowing you'll die either way if you dare try? Or will you just let us pass?"

"Which are you?"

Woah. That probably hit as hard as an 18-wheeler.
Anyway, she waits for a response.

She's not impressed with how they've been running into military structure after military structure. Guess she would've thought they would've found a shopkeeper or something.
She sees the knight at the top of the tower. She doesn't seem intimidated at all. Rather, she remembers the knights on the bridge and almost pukes.
