<ROUND THIRTY-ONE>
Simeon decides to equip a Refined Recurve, and improve his STR and SPC. JOE then gets his bots to mine at the Ancient Ruins, but can't seem to find any abyssal holes that go into the ground. They then mine some oddly-specific area underground via mining there like a normal person (robot?), which doesn't end up showing up on the map. This yields 100 Cobblestone, 20 Uniform Logs (underground wood woo), and 4 Iron. Irongutta then +1's his SPC.

Toast, Monika, Comet, Mr. Krabs, Simeon, The Author, Terry, The Man, Moniker, The Voice, Irongutta, and Bergilmir all run off to beat up Acacia. This'll be good.

...Before that though, the Informant slips something to the group.

Uh. Well, the game's had its first official death! Anyway, your party is moderately split, Reisz currently has 8 AC due to aura buffs, and there's more hounds due to her losing a life. Plus, most of your attention is currently drawn towards Acacia! This might be a little tough to win from here... maybe a tactical retreat is in order? Alternatively, call in some reinforcements. You're not going to have a good time if things keep going this way...

<THE WAY FORWARD, ROUND TWO>
Acacia stumbles onto the ground, after having received a grievous wound from Teag's railgun. She's breathing heavily, trying to staunch the flow of sap from the gash within her torso. Despite the heavy amount of pain she seems to be in, she's smiling...

ACACIA: G-Guess it's a good thing I did call over Neru...

...On cue, the ground begins to rumble ever-so-slightly as what appears to be a mechanical fortress crawls along the ground towards Acacia! She props herself up with her staff, before firing herself into the air. She performs a single, graceful twist in the air as she lands upon the steel-plated fortress... which appears to have eight legs. And eyes. It appears to be some gigantic armored shell... built upon a spider. Acacia gives the spider's head a gentle rub through the armor. It seems to purr in response...

ACACIA: Neru~
ACACIA: Slaughter these infidels for me, won't you? Good girl~

With that, the Spider gives a nod. It promptly prepares itself for combat!

...She then tosses the phone off the friendly-looking spider fortress tank, before impaling it with a spire of wood. She seems... genuinely worried.

JOEs "machines", under his command while he waits for the enemy turn again, run from the underground mining place run back to the farm, craft 90 of the cobblestone on the worktable into 10 compressed cobblestone, and use some of this compressed cobblestone to support the above-ground area. then they mine some more, putting down pillars whenever stability is bellow 75% again.

Toast's second Illusion heads out of the forest, moving to M9. She shouts out to the Glacrobe.
"Heyyy, that was pretty close! Not many people can catch me by surprise like that! No hard feelings."
She stares at the two Charians in front of her and clicks her fingers, as a torrent of concentrated air rips through them.

Speaking of which, Mirror!Toast casts Aerobeam with the Virtuoso augment. The beam heads northwards, curving south-west at L7.

There's the sound of a gunshot as she does so. The world seems to become still for a moment as the beam tears through its victims. When people come to their senses, Mirror!Toast has vanished to L16.

Meanwhile, Actual!Toast moves to L13, and mouths the words 'flesh metal sword' to herself.
"It's alright Chloe- I'm sure you'll get the knack of it! For now, uh, mind your head!"

She channels magic, casting Unsealed Spellbook! Runes flutter through the air around her, before collecting themselves into a single magical expenditure. Intellect6 gained for her next spellcast, +3 Metamagic, and she also expends 5 points in her Mana Well for Intellect11 total!

This is 26 effective INT for her own casting of Aerobeam (again with Virtuoso), which is performed north-west. At E6, this beam heads east. With the bonus retreat from Virtuoso, she heads to K16.

Mr. Krabs pulls out a suspiciously spiral-like specimen of a fossil from behind his back.

"-HELIX FOSSIL! PRAISE THE LORD HELIX, MASTER OF ANARCHY!"

Mr. Krabs uses Consult Helix. What happens next is entirely RNG, though most likely in our favor. Mr. Krabs is awash in the beautiful glow of Lord Helix, restoring 12 HP and granting a few mild buffs to his personage.

Irongutta watches as Acacia quickly crumples to the ground, disappointed she went down so easily. He wouldn't retain this feeling for long since Neru showed up. The heavy armor and weaponry that encased the great spider only allured Irongutta. "Ooh, all that dakka on that thing is just askin' to be taken! I'll 'ave to get rid of some of the weedy gits behind it first."

Irongutta activates his special, WAAAGH! A crackling green aura surrounds the Ork, filling him with an even greater lust for battle. Bellowing out a warcry, he rushes headlong into battle.

He moves L18, and uses 1 MOV to teleport to K2, moving three spaces in the process. He uses a Pick-Me-Up on Monika real quick. After that, he moves one more space to K3. This movement means he has moved four spaces, activating Unstoppable Force and his Charging Vest. He then crushes SRider2 with Overpowering Smash!

Boshi hears the screeching of the giant spider, Neru. They feel like they have to go help in that battle. But how to escape...

...perhaps the Hat Hook could be of use.

The duo move to (K8) while twirling around the Hat Hook like a lasso, then using it to latch onto a tree near the spawn area, pulling themselves over to the spawn tiles and getting the hell out. It may have borked the thing in the process, but eh, what're ya gonna do?

On their way to the Neru battle, Boshi was about to break down fully. He slows to a crawl as Hat Kid tries and fails to persuade him to keep going.

Hat Kid didn't buy it at all. She knew exactly what he was going to say. Holding her time piece with an iron grip, Hat Kid leans in to whisper something into Boshi's ear-analogue. Some could barely make out the words. Though it didn't seem like it was Hat Kid's voice at all...

Boshi sighs, and tries to stand up.
"(No point moping about it, I guess... it really dampened my mood either way, though...)"
As he gets back up, he grunts, "(It's either this, the underworld, or oblivion. Let's go.)"
Hat Kid hops back on. "Charge~" She seems to have her normal voice again.

But before they head to the Way Forward fight...

Boshi proceeds to salvage what metal he could from the tents, putting the other parts away for future use.

He then proceeds to carve up the Refined Wood into planks, through a method of sawblades and stuff. He carefully pieces together at least 12 large-ish planks, arranging them in a pattern that should be easy to coil up into a new bin. He then proceeds to carve out a wooden lid.

Meanwhile, Hat Kid gets to work with the Uniform Logs, using their heavy bark to make 6 bark rings. She also melts down the metal gathered from the tents (or ingot) to make a few nuts, bolts, and screws. She applies a coat of Green Sap to three of the bark rings, and sticks them on the upper, middle, and lower parts of the plank bed, at the left end.

With deft hands, Boshi sticks all the planks around the rings. He then fits the other three Bark rings onto the outside of the bin, fitting them right over the inside rings. He drills holes in the wood with a drill (because apparently they have that) and the screws. He takes out the screws, and slots the nuts and bolts in each of the holes he made, creating a sturdy cylinder... with no bottom. Oops.

Boshi quickly remedies this by taking the skinned Uniform Logs, and making planks out of them as well. He cuts the planks to fit the bin's bottom, applies some extra bark, nuts, and bolts to the bin, and the bottom was installed.

Hat Kid, meanwhile, drills some holes in the top of the bin. Two on either side of one plank. She takes the Feather Rope Coil and splits it in half, both lengthwise and widthwise, making sure it was actually dead before they use it. She threads the rope into the holes of both the bin and lid, and ties the ends together.

The Wooden Trash Can was complete, but... it was still lacking the trash powers of the original. Thankfully, they have a pile of scrap metal waiting in their trash can. So they call on the powers of Bob. The sheer trashiness of the legend of all trash turns the scrap metal into... glowing scrap metal.

Boshi tosses the scrap metal of the Drone into the new trash can. The new trash can glows for a brief second, before subsiding. Now the original trash can lays there; charred and black. With a light breeze, it falls to bits. The Wooden Trash Can has its powers now.

Wooden Trash Can (T2) "so why did you make it wood...?"
+1 DEF, +3 RES. Body Storage is still there. Drone Corpse is still in it.
+20% Physical (set to Slashing), +10% Physical (set to Slashing), -20% Fire

They equip this. They then reduce their AGI by 2, their MP by 2, and their INT by 2. They boost their SPC to 8. Their extra Hidden Force will be Hidden Spark, and they replace Incantation with Life Essence Augment.

Boshi turns to the army on the north part of the map.
"(Why the hell'd you guys want to follow her, anyway? Not only is she a gorilla, she's also weak. She has to rely on a giant spider to get work done, for cryin' out loud!)"
"(And now you're all probably gonna die, ya poor fellas. I pity ya, really.)"

Boshi enters the battle at (K3), and uses a Pick-Me-Up on Monika. "(Get up! The team needs ya!)" He then books it to (H2). "(Come get me, losers!)"

The Voice moves up to G14 and activates his special.

A purple shimmer in the air resolves itself into a vast pile of disassembled suit-parts, which the Voice promptly sorts through, finding a piece here, a piece there, and slowly fitting them together into a customized, heavy-built suit that looks not unlike the linked suit, except not so gaudily gold, with two massive cannons for arms instead of the arms, and the Voice's logo front and center instead of Haltmann's. He hops into the suit, the unused rest of the components dematerializing, and aims one of those massive cannons at the exact center of Neru, I10, before launching a sparking bomb that explodes in a burst of electricity upon impact.

(A.N.I.M.E.S. Version 1 activated! Summon stats for merging at the normal place -- the source is at P53. I scaled the spells with the Voice's INT. Also, you don't need to add the 10 HIT and 10 CAV to the Voice's normal stats -- those don't really merit merging.)
