"Gah! What... What... man, I must be slipping... I feel asleep..."

Skillpoints! +1 STR, +1 HP!

Spawn in Forest of Departure! Move from G27 to H24! Time to kill stuff! In the forest! This level looks pretty neat.

"...Oookay, there's a bunch o' Iti around, and a few bodies just... hanging out."

Beat.

"Pfft, that was awful..."

With that out of the way, EN hauls ass to E19, and if Seeker 3 is still alive for some reason, she proceeds to Demolishing Punch it to death. If it ain't there, she, uh... I dunno. Guards? Sure.

Calibri just makes a quiet heh when Chloe replies, hands in his pockets and quite the grin on his face. He seems fine with listening for a while... Seems fine in general, really.

"Well... yeah, figured you were trying. Just felt like teasing you."

With a wink and another heh, he then watches her head off into the forest. It occurs to him he could follow her, but on the other hand, oh dear where'd Verdana go? Calibri proceeds to teleport back to where he last left Verdana, only to find that the albino has wandered off. A number of smallish glowing blue eyeballs appear around the landscape, too small to even so much as accidentally fire a laser, just there to observe... They wink out of existence soon enough, Calibri knowingly teleporting down to the Fortified Cavern and walking in.

During this time, Verdana has already run off there to use the crafting table. More specifically, stare at it for a while, then go back and get to the iron ore vein, smashing the absolute hell out of it with a borrowed Ashen Reap. Because it's a pickaxe. And also explosive, which will totally be great for mining the ore vein. Once he's gathered up what he reckons is a suitable amount of Iron Ore, he then heads back to the crafting table to concentrate. And also to craft. That's sort of important.

"Ideas are hard!"

He takes out a Full-Metal Poncho. He takes out an Adaptive Shielding Unit. He intensely studies the Adaptive Shielding Unit, making sure to take in every single possible intricacy of the method that the unit uses to generate the shielding. He then has a brilliant idea once he's fully sure of how it works, and decides to take action! Ignoring the obvious problem that metal doesn't work the same way as cloth, he proceeds to fire up the iron ore and smelt it into armor plating, then manually weaves it together with the Poncho. He then takes some circuit boards, staring at them to properly figure out just what the hell he can do to work them into whatever he's making, then eventually slaps a few inside and tries joining them up with an incredibly sparse amount of wire. After that, he might as well properly analyze the ASU, maybe deconstruct a single one just to have more resources to funnel into the creation. Eventually, the creation...

...Well, basically, it's like a Full-Metal Poncho, but with less of a health boost and some RES. So, IDK... Power-armor Poncho. And if it somehow got to be a T2 item, uh, lemmie think of a cool and interesting gimmick... Directional Shield - as a free action during the wearer's turn, choose a cardinal direction, and all damage you take from that direction this turn is treated as though you had 10% more resistance to the element of that attack. (Except if it's Thyme or Glitch damage because honestly even 10% resistance to those on a T2 item I seriously doubt that's happening)

Brutishace moves up to H19, struggling to get away from the surrounding foes.

He peeks around the trunk and peeks at the third Carrion and Swirl looking at him from behind a fallen tree!

Panicked, Brutishace aims a hasty shot with his Serpentine Pistol and fires at the third Carrion, knowing that it will most likely miss its mark.

The Exploration Bot moves to D21 and splash-attacks B17.

The Voice moves to K18 and Hidden Eye's Swirl 1.

<ROUND TWENTY-FOUR>
Well. This took some time, didn't it? Anyway, welcome back!

JOE decides to enlist an army of Claw Droids that attempt to harvest the Thyme Matter, making an effort to focus and crush the forming arms. Except, the drone's weapons seem to be screwed over by the Thymium Field, so their efforts to crush the arms are met with grabbing, pulling, and devouring. Liquids can do that, apparently. Plus, claws really aren't an ideal item to actually harvest liquid, are they...?

Auth then walks into the Hanging Garden, succeeds on a not-vomiting check, and then enters the Nest. With careful, calculated steps, he deftly steps around the ropes, and no wait he stepped on one of them. Which is odd, as he's quite certain there wasn't a rope in that spot of the nest before. This thought is replaced with immediate panic as one of the ropes constricts around his legs. Eyes open up across the surface of the ropes- small, purple slits, staring at the Author. They spiral up his body, one of the ropes ensnaring the Author's neck. Working in unison, the ropes begin to drape themselves up into the trees, rising up out of the nest like a cobweb in... something that raises things up. Anyway, it looks like Auth is going to have the life crushed out of his neck by next turn. You might wanna save him.

Miyuki then opts to create some Thaumoeletric Telum-Infused Body Armor. That's a mouthful that takes 2 Aurora Crystals, 1 Circuit Board, 2 Wire Scraps, and a Nano Remeby to create. She then enters the Woods of Departure. Hat Kid and Boshi then go to town on the Iti in the river. This town going consumes 3 Sturdy Vines and a Uniform Log, and results in the drowning of two Swirls, and a Gorged. Apparently, they have inexplicable drowning powers when not in combat. Hat Kid then baps open the chest, and finds a couple of interesting goods...

-50 Credits
-Whispering Gauntlet (Trinket) (One copy.)

...A bit of a sad haul, isn't it? Not satisfied (since there wasn't a person there), the duo continue to sail down the river. There's no real loot here- just a rougher river, and more Iti. Sailing onwards would likely be foolhardy, but maybe there's some really good stuff beyond this segment? Who knows. Destiny then walks into the Hanging Gardens, and decides to NOT wait next to the Author, as holy heck he's currently being strangled by ropes. Monika follows. Moniker meanwhile, enters the Forest of Departure, whilst also spending some Skillpoints. Calibri then sees Chloe off as she enters the woods, winning a grin from her as she departs.

Verdana then blasts 25 Iron Ore off the vein in the Fortified Cavern, before getting to work on modifying a Full-Metal Poncho with 6 Iron Ingots and 3 Circuit Boards, along with an Adaptive Shielding Unit. This yields the Power-Armor Poncho, which does end up being Tier 2. Nobody's stated to equip it, but it always pays to have something ready, right?

<FOREST OF DEPARTURE, ROUND THREE>
Emerald is surrounded by an absurd amount of Iti. This may or may not really hurt him if he's not freed, but he should be able to survive a little more punishment. Anyway, you might be able to save one of the hanging Chairians this round! How about it?

Destiny quickly rushes in and carefully but swiftly cutting off the sentient nooses and getting the Author the hell out with the power of 12 STR. She runs back to the Peaceful Riverbank and plops the Author down.
Can we try to NOT die next time?

"(Boo. Worthless.)"

They sail onto the next area.

"(Undead... no big deal.)"

Looks like they're about to annihilate these enemies too. Boshi consumes the 4 Cinderfruit in the inventory. Yep, literally consuming them... well, more like storing them in his mouth.

What follows is a series of explosions from within Boshi's mouth... none of which seemed to do any real harm. Yoshi's Island mechanics, everyone!

Hat Kid then hops in front of Boshi as he fires four fireballs in an upward arc. They come down rather slowly from their arc, but when they reach about where Boshi's head was, Hat Kid uses her Time Hat, slowing time for her. Using a copy of the Crystalline Claw, she leaps up and bats each of the fireballs to the four hounds; one for each.

Given that they were unlikely to kill, the Hounds all proceed to attack the boat. What they weren't expecting, however (because other than being in a pack, they're mindless), was the boat going back a space, the boat being quickly reinforced with an Adaptive Shielding Unit (modded for boats) and then the Boshi and Hat Kid duo simultaneously pounding the boat to make a tidal wave (Hat Kid using her Ice Hat), the boat taking no damage due to shielding, and the force going straight to the water.

The sheer power of the waves knocks the hounds into the sharp rocks to the east, either impaling them or slicing them in half.

Hat Kid then picks the Silkweed and mines the Titanium from one of the rocks, while Boshi decides to basically go 'screw this' and carries the boat around the rocks by land and placing it on the other side. They then sail ever eastward.

Mr Krabs moves to K13, spends exactly one GP into Sharpen, storing the other for later, and slashes at Carrion 3 with the claws. "Get back, ye scurvy dogs! I've seen sorrier than you!"

Irongutta moves to G17 (avoiding the Hound's ZoC) and attacks the Sentence that is strangling Bergilmir! This move is boosted by Unstoppable Force, but I don't think that's a huge deal for an enemy with such low HP.

He then speaks to the (hopefully then) freed Bergilmir, practically lifting him from the ground.
"Ya can't smash these gits when yer just hangin' there like that lad. Take a deep breath first, you were startin' to look a little blue in the face."

Black wisps of energy begins to curl off of Simeon.

He thumps his hest a few times, and they dissapear.
That was strange.
COntinuing as if nothing happened, he moves to E19, vaulting over EN.
"CLEAR!"
Raising the Illuminator, he sends a bulb flying right at Swirl 2.

The Voice moves up to N13, drinks some Holy Dew, and casts Hidden Eye on the nearby Seeker3, before retreating up to N12.

The Exploration Bot moves into E20 and splashes the Carrion at C16, also incidentally trying to cut down the Chairian with the splash.

If neither of the Hounds nearby are alive, Toast meditates.
If one or both of them are still alive, Toast moves to H23 and uses Melody of Restoration.
After either action, she refreshes herself with some Waterdrank™.

If the Will O' Wisp has the movement bonus, then it will Sprint to H5 (flight), taking the following route:
J23-M20-M10-H5. This should be a total of 18 squares traversed.
If it doesn't have the movement bonus, then it will move to F17 and place a Spawn Point at G16.

Two rounds ago, this was in my post and was not acted on, so I am placing it here again.
[Alpha-99 scuttled across the ground outside the Fortified Cavern (Inside). it had been grueling work, but the little butcher had finally managed to crawl its way through one of the view-ports of the barrier.]
[The bug looked around for a moment, then activated the recorder and status radio, before scuttling directly south to find out what's there, taking 10 pictures within an equal number of seconds before settling down and hiding for further orders.]
[if Alpha-99 had our out-of-character perspective, it would be very relieved that it had chosen to head south, as north is easy to reach by going east from River Crossing]
[ Alpha-99 is a ROBOTS brand trion soldier, copying the "Repo-Borg" group in almost all factors, including name. Alpha-99 is small, about the size of a human hand, and skilled at camouflage for unknown reasons, as its skin is neon yellow, yet it somehow hides from anything not specifically searching for camouflaged targets. they are useful for both Scouting and battlefield healing. This specific Repo-Borg arrived some time ago, helped Ol' Thunderbutt And Quarrybot unit 2 turn their bodies into the clear shield material, then was mostly forgotten about as Noise became an issue, which led to the release of several Abyss stalkers, and people stopped paying attention to it.]
As for my action that I want to take this round, as opposed to an action I wanted to happen 2 rounds ago:
JOE calls in a new ROBOTS brand soldier.
The thermo-droid, who guard volcanoes and heat up their bodys in combat. as well, their primary function is to help rebuild Atlantis.
That means they can preform construction with decent efficiency, and with their optional high body temperature, they can melt metals on contact. Bringing in two thermo-droids, he calls them over to the Fortified Cavern- inside, guarding them as they walk there in case whoever scratched the ground is still nearby, and activates the Bagworm trigger. for a truly minuscule trion drain, far smaller then the passive generation his trait would give if it worked out of battle, it keeps sound from leaving a certain area, blocking the Radar ability, or in this case just making things inaudible.
The JOE takes the iron door from the inventory out("(T1) Heavy Iron Door (x1): A door taken from the Fortified Cavern. Kinda useless, given that the hinges are destroyed."), along with 2 iron ingots, and has the thermo-droids repair it stronger, and make it only open with the key.
Then, he has the Thermo-droids grab all the material from the iron door thats still on the map (there's an iron door on the map labelled "door" with the flavour text 'A heavy iron door. This one is broken and busted, and has a disgusting amount of claw marks in it. It lies open, hanging to the side on one hinge.') And use it to almost double the sturdiness of the first door. they proceed to install it, and make a key for the door out of a small shard of iron.
After waiting 5 minutes for the key to cool, JOE picks it up. he then waits another 5 minutes for the door to cool, then enters the room and closes both the Terradoor and reinforced iron door behind him, before turning off the bagworm.
