HOUSE RP: Rosemary seems to be really liking the idea suggested by “Fran”, smiling happily. “Heh, sounds like a plan then!”

AIRSHIP RP: Rosemary turns to Omorika, scratching her head sheepishly, realizing she probably looks like a dork (she does). “Oh, uh, Joykiller’s kinda like, a type of special power I got! They’re called...Stands, I think, and they’re basically like ghosts you can summon to fight for you. You uh...can’t really see them without a Stand yourself though...” Rosemary turns back to the enemies, smirking smugly. “But that just means the enemies won’t see what hits them!”

Battle Actions: Rosemary and Joykiller both stay in place, and Joykiller uses all of the attacks in Consecutive Normal Punches on the Core.

Hexagon moves to S13, and activates.. Whirling Blades. Again. He moves T12, U11, V10, W9, X10, X9, X8, X7. This hits all Amphi parts, the Aellos (for weakness boosted Slashing), and that Charian Fighter. All of the targeted enemies proc Slayer, as well. He then retreats up to Z4. Then he reaches over and engages supreme hacking skills by pressing a few buttons, hijacking the rocket launcher to fire at G7, hitting most of the Chairians, obliterating their console, and burning their core.
HEXAGON: YOUR SECURITY IS LACKING. SHOULD YOUR INCENDIARY WEAPONS NOT HAVE MORE PRECAUTIONS BUILT INTO THEM?

BATTLE

The Reflector moves to S18, uses a bonus action to fire the Twin Railcannon at the gunship, and then uses their action to grant Marron Shields Holding (not using up a usage since this was an action), giving her 5 bonus SHP and a Divine Shield.

The Mirror Reflector moves to S17, uses the teleporter node to warp to B13, hovering above the water, then moves to B14 and casts Suffocating Hatred on E18, inflicting Fear4.

ROLEPLAY

@Ette
The Reflector does a quick read-through of the thread to find out who this "Chaos" fellow is, then does a quick twirl as light surrounds them, transforming into the visage of none other than our beloved Irecreeper... and then proceeding to immediately set up some sort of vendor's stall, for some reason.

"CHAOS": hey e(t)(t)e
"CHAOS": wel©ome (t)o ©haosburger, home of (t)he ©haosburger
"CHAOS": ©an i (t)ake your order?

Battle: Admist the Clouds

Venia's position isn't the best on her end, so she remains put and uses the Luminous Rose passive to give herself Ordo 5 with a standard action. Meanwhile, the Vic Viper tries to shoot the incoming Harpy3, or Aello6 if the Harpy's dead, or the Bladedancer if both are gone, or just guard if all three are toast. Venia also activates the weapons console again, firing the Lucid Laser onto the Chairian Sniper.

The House

Maria fetches Cushion with her bag of spiralfloof food from yesterday, her other cats in tow. "Good fluffy. Best fluffy. We are gonna go on all the adventures today," she says, petting Cushion.

Meanwhile, Venia does something she probably should have a long time ago. Wielding the knowledge she attained from Maxim's mindscape from two days ago, she stands in front of Gibbet, hands him a Mighty Banana for food, and begins trying to click out a message to communicate with him. Which, for our collective sanity, will be translated.

"Hello, Gibbet. I am Venia. Do you understand me?"

The Old Pass

Venia presents Droplet with the Chimes, returning Yume's pat with her free hand. "I was coming over to deliver this Chimes to you," She says, pausing a bit and also pulling out the reclaimed Corpsetaker that just got obtained. "and this, though I'm not sure how you'd feel about this guy. I was going to drop them off at the box, but I stumbled onto the whole scene and all."

Venia then sends a message to Auth. "Auth, head to Old Pass in front of church, services needed with the Gray Iti."

"Auth should be here shortly. He's basically the best we have. Meanwhile, uh, I just saw something, err, some Fell Beasts to the north. Feel like I ought to teach them manners."

Amidst the Clouds:

Remiel moves to M16, takes the Telenode to AA10, then charges to AB7 and brings down his Giantcutter in an overhead swing aimed at the gunship's core.

If I did the math right, it should have a total of +90% DMG (Gutsy Greatsword adds +50% at range 2 and +20% vs targets with MHP ≥90, Dreamscaper adds +20% while asleep), with doubled damage for directly attacking the core.

Within the Above the Clouds battle, Brutishace makes his way to M22 and fires another shot from his Necrotic Arcana Pistol at the first Aello, hoping to finish it off. Provided he hits the thing, he heals up Nidra with Soul Siphon to top off her health.

< A NOTE >
Ire my trait isn't Enchanter's Blood anymore.

< BATTLE: AMIDST THE CLOUDS >
[RP]
Bauhaus looks at the node next to him, and touches its controls. After a brief flash of light, he finds himself on another ship, manned by a small group of wooden people.

"Well, this is certainly awkward."

Once the Chairians on the ship begin to show aggression, Bauhaus tosses a sheet of metal at one of them.

[ACTION]
Bauhaus uses the console next to him to teleport to AA10, casts Shield Bash (modified with Shield Throw) on Fighter2, then retreats to AA9.

< RP: THE HOUSE >
"Ouch."

Bauhaus grabs the piece of toast from his armor, leaving a marking of butter and sugar on it. He takes a bite out of it. (The toast, not the armor.)

"Mmm. Pretty good."

Let's get the party started.

Auth responds quickly to a request from Venia, quickly taking flight

AUTH: Of course. I shall arrive presently, give me but a moment.

So Auth is getting to work early, then. Auth flies over to the Old Pass, and up to the top of the bell tower where Droplet and the other Grey Iti are residing. He observes Venia thereafter, and floats down to the ground. Auth appears to have had a slight costume chance, consisting of a red scarf, and the appearance of a belt on his coat near the waist, causing it to appear less obviously baggy.

AUTH: Good morning, all. How may I be of assistance?

Auth spots the grievously injured Harpy, and presumes that would be the issue. Auth walks over and begins the process of healing and resuscitating the injured Iti. A miniature storm of light later, the Harpy would probably be awakened and none the worse for wear.

AUTH: Rebels, huh? While I understand your annoyance, and I agree, it's quite frustrating, you must consider their perspective.
AUTH: I don't think they know that Iti can be non-hostile (more or less) like you are, Droplet. Although I agree it's frustrating.

When the Harpy is off the ground Auth steps back a little.

AUTH: I'm not sure if you can understand me, but don't strain yourself for the rest of the morning. Give yourself some time to recover.

Auth then floats over to Venia, having done the most important thing he was summoned for.

AUTH: Was that everything?

At the same time, which is also not the same time, Auth floats down to the basement to check on Nana. He knocks on her door, and waits for her to come out. Auth has a plan this morning...

But in the meantime, Auth checks on Taeda.

AUTH: Good morning, Taeda. How are you doing?
AUTH: May I have a moment? I need to ask a couple of questions that may relate to the acquisition of an uncommon resource.
AUTH: As a priestess, could you indicate to me if there are any holy sites nearby? I don't mean the Old Pass, of course, I meant closer to our headquarters.
AUTH: Also, and I understand if you're unable to do this, but is it possible for you to create Holy Water? We may have need of a significant quantity of it in the near future.

Since Magnolia is also, coincidentally, nearby, Auth makes his delivery.

AUTH: Good morning to you, Magnolia.
AUTH: One dress, Victorian style, as requested. I wasn't quite sure if I should change the colours or not, but I left it red. I hope that's not too much of a problem.

Auth hands the neatly folded dress to Magnolia to go and... put on, probably. Auth is waiting for Nana to wake up. Nana who, unbeknownst to him, is fast asleep.

Auth continues to float around Zone 3. Auth will check in with Lutea after Nana wakes up, but that doesn't mean there isn't more to do.

Such as tend to the wounded Rebels on the ground. Auth notices them as he flies nearby, and lands close to help.

AUTH: Good morning. I am a medic, please allow me to help.

Seeing as Auth is far better than a Shock Therapist at what he does, the injured Rebel will be in fighting form within no time at all. Once they're tended to, Auth helps them up.

AUTH: You two should get back to your headquarters as soon as you can, although I'm sure you already knew that. I would say that it's highly unsafe around here, especially for rebels.

Once they've headed off, Auth continues to float around, until he comes across the area he met Nana... with some new people hanging around. They're talking about establishing a hospital? Auth approves of that, obviously.

AUTH: I heard you were planning construction of a hospital? May I help with that?

Auth lands nearby, and walks into the clearing, carrying several Bronzewood logs, several bars of Sanctified Alloy, and as much Simple Fabric as he can carry.

AUTH: I'm unsure if this is actually what you were looking for, but you said you needed wood, metal and fabric, right? If you had something more particular in mind, I'm happy to keep an eye out.

Auth actually waits for the Legionnaires to respond, this might be an Ongoing Project:tm:.

As for something obviously, directly and actually helpful, it's Battle Time!

Auth spawns on O20 and casts Perseverance on himself, protecting him from Light. He also sets his Variable Resistance to Earth.

==BATTLE==
Before Pionobot's action, but after Generic's action:
Crystal spawns in at Q20, moves to S18, teleports to AA10, and moves to AA8. He then casts Abduction on Floofknight2, teleporting them to Z8 and performing a surprise basic attack on them in the process. He then performs a Petal Strike: Dust Blast on the crate at AA7, knocking it back three tiles (except not actually, because its movement is blocked), and gaining Enchant:Light, which he immediately converts to Ordo.

@Dedomeni

FRAN: Hah.
FRAN: Chronology?
FRAN: Chronology is... the invention of the simple mind. Shesha would laugh at it, if Shesha wasn't busy singing praise to Vishnu in every moment of "time" simultaneously.
FRAN: Less poetically, achronology is nigh-enforced by none of us caring for shit about deciding and specifying times and places. Things simply mUsT happen.
FRAN: In fact, which room of the house are we in? The number of rooms is actually relatively small and there aren't many hallways either, yet I keep imagining their existence for roleplays.
FRAN: So for all anyone knows, we might not even be in the house. We might be in Pagan Min's castle. Wouldn't that be gorgeous? Disregarding the coke and yak blood thing, that mofo has style.

I would've ended this thread of faux-philosophy there, probably moving onto some silly request such as having "Fran" hop on one foot while wearing her clothes inside out, but a sudden splash of inspiration washes over me. If this were a shounen anime, my eyes would narrow and become darkened with shade, but as it stands, I just look like I can't see a thing without my glasses. Which I don't have, so maybe I should fix that sometime. This is accompanied by a few small steps in her direction, as if I were approaching a cat I did not want to scare off.

FRAN: But... now that you mention it...
FRAN: Something must be done about the Reflector. After all, you just turned back into that form over at Ette's. If this is the past, then you are bound to do so in the future.
FRAN: Yet, no matter how far that future might be, it would mean the forsaking of your existence. Of "Fran."
FRAN: And forgive me for being greedy, but I don't think I'm ready to let go of you yet, unsister dearest.
FRAN: You see, you could say I...

With another few steps, the distance between us is closed, and I pull the girl into what is probably a normal, warm hug.

FRAN: ...was waiting for this moment.

It is not a normal, warm hug. As the obligatory reference music kicks in, bolts of lightning spark outwards from our entwined forms, making for a fascinating spectacle one would expect to see in a plasma globe. The sounds of cracking glass resound throughout the room, even though there is no fantastical display of reality cracking into reflective shards, as in the original scene. Of course, that's because Serpent hates Rebellion, and I don't want them to unfriend me.

Less than a minute later, and the separation of selves is complete. With this, the "Fran" before me remains independent from the Reflector, lifting the latter of any obligation to eventually turn back into me.

You're welcome.

--------------------
Many times have we been forgotten.

Many times have we been taken for granted.

Many times have we been abandoned.

Many times have we been broken.

Many times have we been blamed.

Many times have we been bound.

Many times have we been cast out.

No more. No more, we beg.

<ROUND 231>

JOE makes something to sabotage the Rebels! He throws together 1 Chairian Weapon, 8 (0) Iron, 10 (0) Wire Scraps, 1 Gold, and 5 Fluxblood to create the Radio Signal Disruptor! He activates it! It... somehow catches a radio signal, and begins playing smooth jazz. What? Looks like the Fluxblood isn't really behaving, and it's the crux of your function. Plus, it seems like totally removing the enemy's AI is kinda hard...

The materials are refunded instantly. F

Echoss transforms into Pionobot! Okay, not really, but he swaps characters. His identity crisis deepens. Anyway, with Maple, Echoss notes a few things about humans. Allergies and the like. Maple gives it a few moments to think about. Sounds awful.

MAPLE: Really? Your immune system does that? Bleh.
MAPLE: I'm glad we don't have those sorts of things... but I guess we're vulnerable to things like Locustblight, so there's a tradeoff.

Echoss also notes how he'd wish to see the Citadel in times of proper peace. Maple nods, a smile on her face.

MAPLE: Yeah! I wanna see that, too!
MAPLE: The citadel hasn't seen peace in so long... nor have the people of Sussui.
MAPLE: I want to find that peace once more. A lot of us do.

Finally, elsewhere on the map, Not!Echoss runs about the map, looting fruit and other similar items. From Zone 1, he nabs 2 Lumipods, 4 Cinderfruit, 3 Celefruit, and 25 Green Sap Blobs. Maybe he could make a nice fruit salad out of those things.

Generic pokes Omo and Mari. They begin researching Snaking Rounds and the Panic Drive, as per orders. Nia is also asked to upgrade the Steamstream Gloves. She salutes him, bags 100 Credits, and upgrades the Steamstream Gloves to the Steamgleam Gloves! How very shiny.

Boshi, Sophia, Dorothy, and Hannah continue their rounds. Boshi begins by visiting the fisherman out on the water, and asking about the oversized eel. He points to his equipment, somehow expecting Boshi to understand what it does.

FISHERMAN: Yeah. Eel's not here.
FISHERMAN: Totally unprecedented, too. It's usually here at this time of day.
FISHERMAN: Something's probably agitated it, but there's no prior history of things like that happening.
FISHERMAN: Unless you know something about it?

The Fisherman fiddles with his equipment as he awaits an answer. Meanwhile, in Zone 2, Sophia captures the Grey Corpsetaker with the Grey Card! The Reclaimed warps with it. With that out of the way, Sophia moves to snoop on the Scarlets. Doesn't seem that they're doing much of anything at the moment. Looking at it though, it seems that they've piled some equipment near the campfire. Damaged Booster Greaves, each with the same sort of damage, at the same location- a destroyed fuel tank. Seems like something blew it open.

Next, at the Endless Gardens, Dorothy goes to deliver some supplies to the Fireblast Encampment. 50 (40) Uniform Logs, 20 (10) Silkweed Bundles, and 10 (0) Iron Ingots are delivered. It's not too much, but from the reactions of the soldiers, it should be all they need for now.

LEGIONARY: Such a wealth of materials!
LEGIONARY: Thank you, kind outsider.
LEGIONARY: While I'd love to pay you... I don't think I have much I can offer you.
LEGIONARY: Outside of... a small pittance of money.

Dorothy is gifted 50 Credits.

LEGIONARY: Sorry if you were expecting something more.
LEGIONARY: Maybe once we're done construction though, we can offer you our services?
LEGIONARY: But once again... thank you.

Finally, in the Everground, Hannah takes a few moments to patch herself up. As she's doing some rather rigorous mining this round as well, she's only able to recover (5) HP. She then mines a large wealth of Gravcore Ore, obtaining 18 units from a nearby vein. This doesn't cause the island to fall, but it begins to descend ever so slowly. It's also sagging a bit- the right side's sticking up higher than the left. She then throws out a Portal Rune down onto her platform. This works, creating a link between the House and the Everground. Hopefully this won't have any ill effects on the rune... or the house.

Rosemary mentions the existence of Stands to Omo. She tilts her head towards her.

OMORIKA: An invisible ghost...
OMORIKA: I suppose ghosts are typically invisible, but a ghost you can use to punch things?
OMORIKA: Quite a powerful asset, I must say.
OMORIKA: I'm glad you're on our side, miss...?

OMORIKA: I'm sorry. I don't know your name.
OMORIKA: I am Stella Omorika of the Highchair. It is my pleasure to meet you.

Omo curtsies towards the stand user.

The Reflector assumes the form of Chaos! Ette bounces up and down, giggling.

ETTE: Hurray! You did it!
ETTE: It looks really good, too!
ETTE: Although, something feels kinda... off?
ETTE: I think it's like-

CHAOS: oh hey [c]haos how's i[t] hanging

Chaos has appeared, standing on Ette's head. Seems that at least today, he's incredibly lightweight. Or maybe Ette's just strong enough to not care about the extra weight.

CHAOS: jus[t] so you know, ()'s are no longer in s[t]yle
CHAOS: real [c]ool guys use []'s now
CHAOS: jus[t] so you know, me

CHAOS: ...hold on
CHAOS: some[t]hing's he[c]ky

Chaos blinks, before closely examining "Chaos". He taps his head as he gets a real close look at his alter ego. Suddenly, his tongue shoots out of his mouth at a surprising velocity, ripping from where it should be in his mouth. It splats against the wall with a sick, wet sound. Moments later, it snakes towards the other "Chaos", running up their leg before flying back into Chaos's mouth. They smack their mouth, before shrugging.

CHAOS: nah every[t]hing seems fine, [c]haos
CHAOS: anyway e[t][t]e [c]an you ge[t] me one [c]haosburger
CHAOS: i'm afraid i [c]an'[t] leave my shop [t]oday

ETTE: But sir, you're-
CHAOS: byeeeee

Chaos backwards longjumps into the wall. Nothing interesting or reality breaking happens, so Chaos just sighs, holds his breath, and pops. (And by "pops", we mean "explodes violently".) This probably takes him back to the house. Ette looks blankly at the remains of Chaos, before turning back to "Chaos".

ETTE: ...Um.
ETTE: I'd like one Chaosburger, please!
ETTE: And... tea! I want tea. Tea's good.
ETTE: Could I get the burger to go, please?

"Chaos" could team with with Chaos to revolutionize the Chairian fast food system. Of which there isn't one. But there's opportunities!

Venia does a few things. First, she stands in front of Gibbet, throwing them a Mighty Banana. They peck away at the banana, ripping it apart. They then swallow chunks of the delicious flesh inside. Venia then carefully clicks out a message to Gibbet. It doesn't respond vocally, or with any sort of clicking, but it simply nods its body up and down a few times, before happily tweeting at her. It's a response. Meanwhile, up a floor, Cushion snuggles up with Maria, very fascinated with these weird creatures that Maria would call a "cat". The cat looks at Cushion. It seems that on some odd level, they have a mutual understanding of the sheer havoc they love to wreak upon the universe.

Finally, back ta the Old Pass, Venia presents the Grey Chimes to Droplet, as well as the Grey Corpsetaker. Droplet beckons both of them towards her. For whatever reason, the two seem to instantly respect her authority, and they form up behind her. Droplet's army grows!

DROPLET: ...Thanks.
DROPLET: About time I got some help that wasn't utterly useless.
DROPLET: And with this Corpsetaker, maybe I can finally get some disposable infantry...

DROPLET: ...What? I can't take risks when fighting invaders like those Rebels, as these Grey Iti are pretty damn rare.
DROPLET: Finally, maybe I don't need to beat things down alone anymore.
DROPLET: Yume doesn't count, though. She doesn't seem to care for my... authority.
DROPLET: She seems to do what she pleases, the little gorilla.
DROPLET: Hell if I know why she doesn't fall in line.

She then notes that she'll be sending Auth over to help with medical duty soon enough. Droplet nods, the slightest bit bashful. The idol refuses to maintain eye contact with Venia.

DROPLET: ...Thanks for that.
DROPLET: Sure, the Reverie isn't really handy, but... hey, they can fly.
DROPLET: That automatically makes them helpful. Plus, Yume seems to like them.

She turns away from her as Venia (presumably) goes to go hunt some Fell Beasts.

Auth goes to revive the Grey Harpy. As he does his work, Auth suggests that perhaps the Rebels don't know that Iti can be non-hostile. Droplet shrugs.

DROPLET: You'd think that the Iti being a whole different hue would set off some alarm bells in their heads.
DROPLET: Apparently, everyone on this planet is colorblind, though!
DROPLET: Or perhaps, blind blind.

Once the Harpy's recovered, it takes off towards the opposite tower, not willing to get shot again. It appears to be in too much of a hurry to say thanks. Droplet however, is in the area to say thanks for it.

DROPLET: Thanks.
DROPLET: God, it sounds like I'm sucking up to you guys with how much I'm saying "thanks".
DROPLET: Well, I'm not. Alright?

She stomps off into the temple, pouting. Elsewhere, Auth greets Taeda a good morning, asking a few questions. Are there any holy sites nearby?

TAEDA: Oh, good morning sir Author!
TAEDA: As for holy sites... there's most likely a small chapel near the house.
TAEDA: Most villages come equipped with some sort of chapel, even if its not nearly as glorious as the Church of Helix.
TAEDA: Do you intend to pray to Helix, sir Author? Or what is it that you wish to do?

He also asks about the acquisition of Holy Water- could she make some? She nods, although a bit sheepishly.

TAEDA: T-Technically, I could.
TAEDA: I need to consecrate the water through a blessing from Helix, but only the higher priests and priestesses are allowed to do that.
TAEDA: Although, given the circumstances, it could probably be forgiven.
TAEDA: Why do you need it, if you don't mind me asking? Just curious, is all!

And, since Magnolia is nearby, he delivers the Victorian-era dress to Magnolia! She takes the dress eagerly, spinning around happily whilst beholding it.

MAGNOLIA: Yaaaaay! Thank you!
MAGNOLIA: It's really pretty, and also red! How'd you know I like the color red?
MAGNOLIA: I'm gonna put it on now! Bye!

Magnolia gives Auth a hug, before running off to put on the dress properly. Though she may be psychotic, she still does obey social norms. Finally, Auth goes to tend to some business in the Endless Gardens. First, he tends to the two rebels near the gate of the gardens, purifying the negative effects of the Shock Therapist from the injured rebel. With wordless thanks, the two of them are off nearly right away.

He then delivers a cargo shipment of some incredibly fine materials to the two Legionaries who are hard at work making a hospital already. The one who originally asked for the material sees the loot that Auth is delivering to them, and their eyes sparkle briefly. He shakes his head towards him respectfully.

LEGIONARY: While the offer of Bronzewood is incredibly generous... there's no point in making a hospital that could survive a Tabletopian gunship.
LEGIONARY: I don't think I've even ever seen that metal you're offering to us... but the fabric is nice.
LEGIONARY: We'll gladly take that, if that's fine. The other materials could probably be put to better use elsewhere.

The builders take 20 Simple Fabric off his hands. That should help quite a bit, being pre-spun and all. As one more note, it seems that Nana's finally woken up, and is having breakfast. Say hello, maybe?

<AMIDST THE CLOUDS, ROUND THREE>
As the battle rages on, the sound of thunder can be heard crackling through the air. Not the sound of far off, quiet thunder, but the sort of thunder you'd only get if a storm was right on top of you. Despite this, the skies don't seem nearly grim enough to harbor any sort of storm. Watching over the port side of the airship with a pair of binoculars, Omorika's eyes widen in terror.

OMORIKA: Oh no.
OMORIKA: Get our allies back on this ship, NOW!
OMORIKA: Something's comin-

With a flash of light, a gigantic "spear" of sorts rushes through the sky, shrouded in water, lightning, and the mustard of your doom. It careens right into one of the Chairian scout ships, punching a hole straight through it. Wood and splinters spray through the sky. Upon the tip of this "spear" is the Chairian's gravcore, which rips apart and shatters as the spear continues to rocket by, into the not-so-far distance. Without a gravcore, the airship's two halves plummet lifelessly into the earth, their crew going with them.

OMORIKA: Was that...?
OMORIKA: I've heard rumors of its power, but...

Suddenly, whatever it was that destroyed the ship zips back towards the team's airship, missing it by only a meter or so. The crash of water against the airship's hull reverberates throughout the deck. Then, from behind, the culprit slithers up not far from its port side, easily keeping pace with the airship. It doesn't shriek, scream, or speak. For these few moments, it watches those on the deck of the ship scurry about, trying to make sense of whatever the hell just happened.

Omorika's eyes widen as she bears witness to the creature. It seems to be made of seven, charcoal-black segments, connected to one another with a series of long spikes; one makes up the "horn" of the creature. Each of these segments have six distinct "sides" to them, with large violet compound eyes visible on the four sides that are not joining the creature together. A few dozen sharp spikes jut out of the creature, with each one emitting electrical sparks that arc between other spikes. But perhaps most curiously, the entire creature is veiled in water, the cloud perpetually following it as it "swims" through the air. And, from the scent of things, that cloud of water is most likely freshwater.

OMORIKA: Electrophorus.
OMORIKA: I've... never seen it in person.
OMORIKA: How... utterly terrifying.

MARRON: S-Stop gawking! It's gonna kill us if we don't do something about it!
MARRON: Shoot it! S-SHOOT IT WITH EVERYTHING WE HAVE!

You are accosted by...

Electrophorus
Serpent of the Stormy Sky

PLAY - Outcast of the Sulphurous Seas (DM DOKURO)

With the presence of Electrophorus, things are bound to get a deal more complicated. It possesses powerful disruption tools against crewmembers and the ship's systems, and likely packs a harder punch than any Iti you've encountered before. I'd highly recommend levying the Airship's weapons against it if you can. You can also warp into the water with the Teleporter Nodes, if you're really suicidal / have a plan. Good luck!

JOE looks at Rebel Firebomber 1 like they have just demonstrated complete insanity. It's a very specific look, involving a mixture of raising an eyebrow, widening their eyes, a jaw that abruptly hands open, a micro-slump forwards, and rolling ones eyes with incredibly artful skill.
The quality of the look is somewhat impeded by JOE coughing up, like, blood or something, in the middle of doing it. It's still a pretty good look, though. dude must have been practicing.
(Note: I'm pretty sure I was using light yellow text early on. if i was using another color, it's an ooc error that it's different. technically likewise if I'm using a different speech pattern but personality wise current-JOE probably has next to no connection to however past-JOE acted anyway so that part's whatever.)
JOE: Are you completely insane?
yep, definitely a look like they demonstrated complete insanity.
JOE: Look, even leaving aside what happened the last time you bumbling homicidal insane egg-nosed potato-footed farm-destroying sweet-flumpinated fools tried to take a... I want to say magical child, but they probably weren't a child... spherebreaker'll have to do... prisoner, you all should be well aware I am nurturing a grudge against you and possibly your entire organisation that goes far beyond the bounds of the sane, the reasonable, or the justified. If I were to surrender to you, you could be certain I would only have done so out of the sincere and possibly even justified belief that I would be able to devestate or assassinate potentially dozens of your soldiers by doing so,and it would as such be a terrible and unnecessary risk to capture me. Far better to slaughter me outright.
JOE: Furthermore, if you are attempting to appear the reasonable ones by offering me a chance to surrender, it ought to be painfully obvious that, considering you attacked me entirely unprovoked for, if I were to guess at what might have offended you, daring to attempt a peaceful life, and that you have insulted my honour prior by calling me 'That maniac' or something to that effect, not only would your act not fool anybody, but it would only further agitate my intensely reasonable opposition to your cause.
JOE: ...Wait, I should have just stayed quiet about all of that, said yes, then slaughtered your entire family or something as vengance later, shouldn't I? ah, whatever. I'll just beat all of your faces in the good old fashioned way. or, you know, die trying. Whatever works. I was probably jokin g about slaughtering your entire family as vengeance, you shouldn't worry about it. I mean, how would I even Find your family?

(Actual actions to come. Routes being considered ATM: RAC to kill the Firebombers in my way then leap over to Mecon1 and Corrupt it (have to figure out if that's plausible, a 3-wingslam escape or some such...)
Warp Ring to Mechon1 into Corrupting it into retreating out of immediate danger and having it gun down a firebomber, also have the Mechon use the Remote Airship Controller. (Warp ring is interchangeable here with Yggcrawler Pie Slice, which grants skirmisher, since I have 4 MOV), begging for help some more this time from whichever NPC's aren't doing the airship flight chase thing so chloe, nia, ette, sleuth, Taeda or Nana (Flaw: the only one I think I've interacted with is chloe and that only in that I asked if they had a power generator in their torso for trion, not the best basis to ask for help from), maybe something something trion form.)
most/all planning precluded by question of whether I even Can apply Doomed.
So, the current description of the battlefield says there is doomed, I assume there isn't going to be a retroactive silent change to the Previous round in the middle of the next round (and it's kind of... well... probably darn near impossible? to strategise around "the mechanics of the game are unknown and may be changing whenever", so I'm not going to do that.), So these actions are written on the assumption that the current battle state is, uh. Accurate. If the battlestate is different, obviously none of the reasoning that justifies anything here applies and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask to actually know what the different battlestate is before writing actions for it.
Action:
JOE glances around a bit, then expends 4 GP, gaining the Corrupt weapon skill. He then uses the Warp Ring to teleport to I8 (if 4 tiles means 'four tiles crossed total'), or H8 (if 4 tiles means 'range four'), uses Corrupt on the Mechonis 1, then retreats two tiles to the left (Since I didn't move during my Move Phase, I gain +1 Retreat).
Mechonis 1 follows me, so as to remain in Range 1 of me- not like that's a requirement, but I want it nearby anyway. It then uses its basic attack on Firebomber 1. The Mechonis then, as its item action, uses the Remote Airship Controller (somehow); if Firebomber 1 is still alive, it uses light laser turrets on it, Firebomber2, and Firebomber 3. If Firebomber 1 is not alive, then light laser turrets attack Firebomber 2, Firebomber 3, and Firebomber 4.

JOE prepares to act, then pauses.
JOE: Fun fact for y'all, reality altered itself just now and made this battle harder for me. But, I am still More then capable of beaning you all.
JOE: notethatbeaningisaconceptonlyapplicableinthiscasetolivingbeingsandnotmechonissothisdoesn'tactuallymeanicanwinjusticankillalltheFirebombersandtheMedic

Then, He flips something in his hand, and presses a button. This button somehow controls an entire airship. it is, in fact, the remote airship controller, somehow remaining functional despite the airships ... occupation... and the light laser turrets fire on Firebomber 1. Then, after a moments pause, they do the same for Firebombers 2 and 3 with the same weaponry. The way having been cleared in this manner, JOE rushes to H10, spends 4 GP on Corrupt, and Corrupts the Mechon1. JOE then retreats to G9

Meanwhile in the house, JOE somehow walks in and starts aimlessly looking for NPCs to beg for help with the battle. His begging process probably begins with a request for help. if the person requested refuses, he moves on to another NPC, not wanting to be impolite by implying that when the person says "no", they mean "not unless you beg me some more" or something. However, if nobody agrees and he cannot find any unasked NPCs, he proceeds to start going back to earlier-asked NPCs and trying to bribe them. This likely does not go well, as he has very little to offer. His first bribe attempt consists of his shoes. his second bribe attempt on any given person consists of picking up a nearby rock and offering it to them. his third attempt is his terrible, terrible purifying broom, or possibly the entirety of his claim to Norway (if pressed on the issue, he will admit he has no claim to any part of Norway whatsoever). After those he starts to run out of ideas and offer to do a handstand, which he will, if taken up on the offer, proceed to fail to do, repeatedly, eventually going over to a tree and using terraform to meld it to his legs so he can remain in a handstand position for long enough to claim he's succeeded. if the handstand is rejected, he will offer to, quote hand a intact unkilly mechon platform man to the research people after battle probably unquote. if that is rejected, he will give up.

CRAFT ATTEMPT:
JOE folds a lot of paper and green sap into an incredibly flimsy, yet large, barricade, which is slightly reinforced with wood. This barricade is intended to be a consumable which can place a ring of 4 1 HP barricades around a location, which will fall over during regen. Yes, this is a very niche item. I have a plan for making use of it, though.

Boshi - Zone 1

Boshi notes the equipment, and nods.

"(I do, in fact. I presume you've heard about some potential fortifications to the skylabs, seems you're in contact with them. There's a reason for that beyond Electrophorus.)"
"(Likely obvious who I'm aligned to, but we spherebreakers are going to the Skylabs today. Considering much of our technology could attract it, along with the entire Legion's air force if they also use similar technology, it's likely been attracted by us.)"

He chuckles.

"(Which, if our current track record suggests... it's a horrible idea on its part. We're already known to bowl over any monstrosity that stands in our path. Recently including the leader of the Rose Cult and the Netwyrm's Core.)"
"(Simultaneously.)"

"(...So yeah, it'll be dead pretty soon. Might even be in combat with it as we speak. I'll check with Hannah...)"

He puts a hand to his ear, contacting Hannah through an earpiece of sorts. He asks how it's going up in the clouds.

"Yeah some giant worm just broke an airship in half."

"(...Oh wow. Right, keep me updated.)"

Boshi turns to the fisherman.

"(And now I see what you mean. It's still gonna die, but it's probably gonna take some work.)"

Sophia - Zone 2

Sophia knows at this point that the scarlets can't be hostile. But does she give in to her kleptomaniacal tendencies, or does she talk to them?

...Talk to them. Duh.

She heads back down the stairs and through the main entry to the Grand Hall. She waves over to them. "Did somethin' happen?"

Dorothy - Zone 3

Dorothy shook her head when handed the money. "Th-thank you... but we just... h-had a lot left over! I-I thought it would be nice to... y-y'know, help out. A-at least a little, um..."

"I-I'm gonna go bye"

She takes off without another word, back to the Altar Garden to meditate.

Hannah - Everground

Knowing that she probably won't be able to take much if she's forced to climb, Hannah sets the elevator to a very slow drop before jumping down again, chain attached to her, ready to mine out the rest of the ore at (S160). She does so. Once it looks like the island's gonna fall, she swings out of the way by pushing herself away with a pickaxe.

She climbs up slowly, but due to the constant dropping of the elevator platform, she barely gains any actual height. Once on the platform again, she stops it, and peers down into the abyss below to get a look at what she's dealing with.

House - Someone stirs

Adria has been asleep in the bunk for the better part of the morning. Still as a stone, though very much alive. She didn't even wake up to Maria's "singing" earlier.

That was about to change. Rather abruptly.

A loud, horrified shriek comes from the lower bunk of the bed at (AI12). If anyone in the bunks somehow wasn't awake before, they sure as hell were awake now.

Of course, it was just the woman formerly plagued by that infernal dark crystal. And she must have just been released from a horrid nightmare. She's slouched upon the back of the bed, gripping the sides of the mattress, extremely tense, breathing shallow and rapid, and her face was filled with pure terror. Lost in a cold sweat, panic, and soft whimpers, she tries to get her bearings, sitting more upright...

...and she bonks her head on the top bunk, hitting the approximate spot where the crystal was once upon a time. She flinches and hisses, immediately forcing her to come to her senses.

Adria feels the spot where she struck, almost expecting to find the crystal. There was nothing of the sort; the only thing she felt in that area was the scar. It still stung a little bit. On realizing this, she looked around the room warily. Her hat was on the nearby chest; while that was something familiar, everything else around the room was completely unfamiliar to her.

As she calms down, Adria feels increasingly relieved. "It... i-it's over...?"

...Eventually she lays back in bed and curls up, not falling asleep, but instead... crying into her pillow uncontrollably. While mostly silent, the occasional whimper emerges from the pillow.

Battle - Amidst The Clouds

Hannah looks at Electrophorus. A prime target for poisoning, just barely out of reach of a Noxious Plume.

Hannah moves to (M17) via the nearby Teleporter Node, and her mirror self moves to (M18) via that same node. They both Basic Attack Electrophorus at (G13). They retreat back through the Teleporter Node to (P23/Q23).

Airship RP: “Glad to be on your side too! And nice to meet you Miss Omorika! Name’s Rosemary-“ Rosemary’s introduction unfortunately gets interrupted by the appearance of Electrophorus. “...Holy crap that thing’s big.

Battle Action: Rosemary moves to L17, and spawns on AA12, with Joykiller on AA9, and Joykiller proceeds to use a Basic Attack on the Mimic on Z8

Finishing Echoss' conversation with Maple:
Echoss nods at the comments on allergies. Then with comments on peace:
"A common way to say goodbye among my people is 'May you find peace and fortune both'.
The road to peace and prosperity is a difficult one, but I hope the people who live on this world can find their way there.
"

Not!Echoss continues daily looting:
Zone 2 doesn't actually have much in the way of renewable resources, so instead they meander on down to the mollusk nest and retrieve the exposed plasteel.
Then, since they've probably still got action power left, make a series of extremely bizarre gestures that somehow communicates to the mollusks that Not!Echoss is offering to help them clear away the wall to the side.
If they do something to try and stop Not!Echoss from doing so, Not!Echoss shrugs and goes on their merry way.
If they don't stop Not!Echoss, or show some sign of consent/request to do so, he pulls out the heaven breaker drill and blitzes his way through part of the rubble pile with it.

Also Not!Echoss returns to the house when JOE attempts to recruit NPCs, carrying a sign that says "don't trust him he's crazy" that he puts away whenever JOE looks at him.

Battle:
Pionobot moves to AC7 and stabby stabbys the gunship core.

The Great Morning Todo List:
Zone 2:
Scarlets camping out

Zone 3:
Talk to Lutea

Zone 4:
Revive Droplet's Harpy
Rescue soldier from the fell beast pack

All zones:
General resource collection, ask me on discord for specific ideas
