Zahlia asks to scan Yung Venuz. If he accepts, we get the scan!
-------------------- "Oh? You're a rebel? Good on you." Simeon smiles. "I know what it's like to make hard decisions like this, so I won't be bothering you for much longer. Thanks for your advice, and stay safe from the Iti, alright?" And with that, Simeon walks back to the house, just as Toast talks about her plans for a magic club. "Magic club? I'm game." -------------------- Simeon joins the battle at Yggdrasil's approach, entering on K20 and advancing to K18. He pops his head over the cover, and sends a bolt of cold magic towards the Bladedancer. This should hopefully activate Aggravation and apply armorbreak1. Now safely behind cover, he closes his eyes, and focuses on the sounds around him. He hears his allies, the sapsqueals, and the chairians, but he also hears something else. Something rustling in the trees. "SECOND LINE OF DEFENSE, TO MY LEFT, IN THE FOREST. I AM CALLING YOU OUT RIGHT NOW. THIS IS A BAD PLACE TO BE. WOULD ADVISE LEAVING! -------------------- |

Nidra acknowledges Venia, but tells her that she thinks she'll be more useful elsewhere. She then moves to Yggdrasil's Approach and joins the fight at M19.
"Finally, a battle. Time to get some rest..." Nidra takes out her pocket watch, swings it in front of herself a couple times, and almost instantly falls to the ground, asleep. Her unconscious body floats to P16 and casts Nightmare Singularity at N10. She then pulls back to O17. |

Toast takes a few slices of bread and chows down on them as she responds to the various people joining the club.
First off, Irongutta shares his thoughts on the club, and Toast responds between bread chews. "Yeah! I knew the club was a good idea! Feel free to join in; the more the merrier!" Then, she spins to Terry, "Alrighty, welcome to the club! Maybe I should start making a member list..." But before she can, Nezira approaches, to whom Toast responds, "Hey, that's awesome! Either as a student, a teacher, or both, it'll be great to have you!" Next, she is once more overwhelmed by Maria's enthusiasm, "Ahaha, well... we'll do our best to teach you what we can!" Simeon and Zedros too decide to join, and I run out of replies to use. She picks her notebook back up and scratches in the names of the new members. "Okayyy, so I like the idea of meeting back after a battle. Then we'll be... I dunno, all fired up! In the meantime, I'll see if there are any more budding mages who want to join in. If not, then this'll be the gang for now." "Now, from what we know of our next location, I am starting to formulate a hella awesome plan which involves me, time travel, and a whole lotta lying. Though, we're gonna have to head down to the gardens first. Do you guys want to get yourselves ready, then we can head out? I just... need to change clothes- I've been wearing these for like a full day now..." Chloe asks about the clothes, so Toast excuses herself and heads up to the purple room. She grabs her non-dirty clothes from the chest, and offers them to Chloe. "Take your pick from these, and I'll just wear what you don't. So: we've got two pairs of jeans: one grey, one denim; a white longsleeve with pale blue sleeves; a maroon shirt with text in a language I don't know; and, er, you're going to need to provide the, um. The 'rest', if you... catch my drift." Afterwards, she changes and heads back downstairs, lazing around in the living room while she's waiting. There's no rush for her to get there, really. Plus, the weather seems really nice for rugging up and staying inside. Maybe along with a friend. ~~ [Toast enters with 31 MP, a Mirror Image, and Last Dream (her random spell).] Future!Toast spawns in at K19 and moves to L18. Her image spawns in at K19 and moves to K18. The two of them use Deep Thinking, while the more real Toast downs some Waterdrank. Despite it raining. |

Alrighty, let's check what's on the fockin' agenda today. Uh... Verdana interaction with birb. This, I can do.
As the birb begins to explore, Verdana giggles to himself in a rather more childish manner than normal, drifting off to follow it. The water everywhere does give him a moment of pause, and he can't help but frown at the sight of it, even if a frown in his current state more consists of the energy of his body flickering aggressively in the direction of the nearby water. Water that he can't help but fear a little thing could drown in if unlucky... His "expression" then softens as he returns focus to baby gallow. "Little one. Do be a little careful while exploring, okay? While I am more than confident you know full well how to be careful, I do want to make sure." Next on the agena, hmmy hmm hmm, Calibri to talk with Chloe. Yep, can do. Anywho, Calibri turns his gaze away from Chloe, just staring off into one of the sides of the room for a while, then he turns his gaze back to her. He seems to be lacking confidence here... "Well. That's, uh. I don't normally talk about how I'm doing. Ain't used to... heh... Eh, I'll put that aside before I get into a ramble. So, hmm... Talk about the nightmares, let me think..." There's a pause. His eyes flick to black. "Well. Nightmares might be a bit of an understatement. Or an overstatement. Hard to tell, heh. I should get on with actually speaking about them. To make a long story short, it was as if I were in a timeline gone horribly wrong. Everyone else around me, with the exception of my brother, was slowly going insane. Some sort of influence from the sphere, I don't know what, it caused them to slowly start losing their senses. At first, early on, it was just a few cases of unjustified excess. Some kills on rebels here and there that they maybe didn't need to make, some retaliation against certain Eliti that might have been a bit much. Then, it started getting worse. Legion members being slaughtered in the same way. Tactics far worse than those used by our foes being employed - the scorching of whole forests to burn blockades to ashes, an uncompromising leadership forming of the bravest party members that killed any dissenters to the cause. I'm fairly sure that at some point, people stopped coming back after dying. What I know for sure is that, at some point, I don't know who was the one responsible but I ended up coming across a pile of dust, with a few red pieces of cloth draped haphazardly over the pile. There's only one thing that can create that specific layout." "Someone in that nightmare killed my brother. And that was the breaking point for me." "To be honest? The nightmare could easily have stopped there and it would have been more than enough, but whatever. I'm not sure if it's malevolence or just the makeup of my being, but the nightmare continued, and so I got to see a lot more into this cursed timeline. Anyway, after Verdana's confirmed death, I did what I do best. Namely, take vengeance. Not the fast kind, though. The me in the nightmare wanted time, both to prepare a way to ultimately strike back against the sphere and those within personally, and also to make sure that it was absolute vengeance. I left the party in that timeline, drawing upon illusion powers to bluff and manipulate my way through what was left of the other factions - Legion, Rebels, even the Iti whenever I had the luck of finding one willing to talk instead of just reeee loudly and smack everything in sight. Given how desperate the situation got, all that manipulation did was just slow down the group even further and stop them from blitzing through each of the glyphs too quickly, and by the time of the final day, the day that the sphere would release the lethal payload inside, I was ready to take them on. By then, if there was any sense of people left in that group, it was completely gone from all view, so, heh, didn't feel too bad about it. When I started the battle, I couldn't help but notice that their numbers had dwindled a bit, so obviously they must've lost some people getting past some areas. Tearing through what was left of my former comrades, now turned to monsters beyond all redemption, beyond all hope... It felt pretty okay, relatively speaking. But even so, I wasn't able to win. No matter how many eyes of judgement I called forth, no matter how many members of other factions I called in, even when the sky was thick with lasers and both Chairian and Rebel artillery fire, I couldn't deal with the party fast enough. I got exhausted after using one of my most draining special attacks, Trypophobia, and I don't know what happened there. Must've blacked out for a second, cause one moment I was tired, the next moment I'd been torn nearly clean in half by a corrupted Entropic Key." There's a pause. Calibri chuckles quietly in a sad way, then sighs and leans forward, smacking his forehead against the nearest not-a-person thing that he can find. "Height of my bloody power, at least what I could get under the sphere, and someone still struck me down. That's a crushing feeling. When everything points to one's victory, from power to righteousness to the sheer planning involved, and the results stomp all over what should have been... heh..." There's a pause. He sits back up, and his eyes flick back to their usual blue. His gaze now seems simultaneously a little sadder, but also a little more relaxed as he eyes Chloe to see what she made of his tale... "...That's about the gist of my nightmare. Sorry if I rambled on for longer than I needed to, heh. I have that kinda tendency. And, uh... double sorry if that nightmare, or something like that, spreads to you too." In the meantime, in Fireblast Encampment, there are things to do. And so they will be done. EN seems distracted, at first, but then notes everyone else on her side engaging in battle. She blinks for a moment, then cracks her knuckles. "A'ight, let's do this. C'mon, lassy, think o' somethin' cool t' say..." Her eyes fix on the Rebel Chainknight. There's a pause. She flashes a grin, one of excitement and... bloodlust(?), then she proceeds to charge into battle, the Ashen Aegis burning threateningly. "Hah! Ah heard ya! So, y'ain't satisfied with just two, maybe three people? Ya want more? CONGRATULATIONS! TODAY'S YER LUCKY DAY!" Once in range, she promptly unleashes a storm of ashes all over the bloody place in a really annoying and distracting manner, practically flying through the air shield-first at the Chainknight. Upon impact, she shouts out a triumphant cry... "AH AM 'ERE!" Okay. Now for... let's see... ah, yes, probably quite important. Operation "play guitar to a Harmonizer". Over at the stage, where the very important and highly relevant process of playing guitar is going down, the Engie drone tilts his head a little at seeing the Harmonizer's eyes changing colour. Well, sort of. The way the drone is made means that his head is somewhat not meant to move that way, but moving his whole dang body like that should suffice. All the while, the guitar continues to play, since it's important to keep that going. "Huh. Still dunno if you do talking things, or even really register them, uh... Your eyes turned gray. Dunno if that means anything to you." The drone shifts about a little. But, still, ultimately he decides that he might as well focus on the rhythm for now. Seeing as the Harmonizer is actively trying to match singing pace with the strums he's performing on the electric guitar, he listens closely to the singing, instinctively aiming to make sure the strumming of the electric guitar matches the pace of her singing about as well as he can make it match. After all, there is interesting things to be learned here, perhaps... Also, obligatory. Since I absolutely refuse to believe it was that easy, the Assault Craft decides to clean up the rest of the petals and the Bouquet around the ancient ruins. Primarily, that means reserving the machine gun to clear away the petals, and once it's done with those ones, it turns its attention to the remaining target. The Bouquet itself. There's a brief pause from inside, as though the passengers in the ship were conversing with one another. Internally, a decision is made. The missile is not used today, it would be far too valuable to waste on such a badly-injured target even if it might guarantee the kill. Instead, the Assault Craft lowers itself down a little, and a guy with a shoulder-mounted artillery weapon of some kind slowly takes aim, then fires one large shot at the Bouquet. It's possible to make out some kind of mana transfer being used to power everything, as though the technology would not function without proper supplying... While the assault craft would undoubtedly be lovely to have here, the mana expenditure to keep it running would be impractical, and it would undoubtedly take up quite a lot of valuable resources to get the craft in proper working condition without having to deal with thymecursing. -------------------- "Their story has concluded for now. Currently, you follow mine."

Nezira remembers that she needs to actually do some crafting to catch up, and grabs her Investigator's Vestments, a Nice Coat, 5 Fresh Manablooms, 3 Crystal Pens, 15 Paper Sheets, a Greatwood Log, and buys a single sheet of Hardened Glass for 20 Crafting Credits.
She cannibalizes the Nice Coat for nice fabrics, then incorporates them into her robes, adding some extra pockets and also bulking them up a little. The pockets are quickly filled with impromptu pens she crafts out of the Crystal Pens (mainly just building a small framework around them with materials to hand and creating a reservoir to hold the ink they leak, before capping them off), and stuffed with Paper Sheets, to provide prime note-taking/rune-writing/writing in general material. She then grinds lenses out of the Hardened Glass, enchants them with power drawn from one of the Manablooms, and sets them in housings carved out of greatwood, creating enchanted magnifying glasses, lenses, telescopes, and other sundry tools, which also fill up other pockets of the robes. Finally, she draws mana out of the rest of the Manablooms and infuses it into the robes, completing the whole thing. Investigator's Vestments (hopefully) upgraded to T3, with stats of (also hopefully): +4 MMP, +3 INT, and +3 SPC, and resistances of: Magical (40%) and Physical (-20%)! She equips them, changing the robes' Magical resist to Earth and Physical weakness to Slashing, before also altering her Starcrystal Scarf's sole Magical (10%) resistance to Electric, and her Sticky Note's Magical(20%) to Ice. Next, she decides to create herself a better-suited weapon, and grabs 5 Greatwood Logs, 10 Fresh Manablooms, 5 Accursed Storybooks, and uses 80 Crafting Credits to buy 2 sheets of Hardened Glass and 2 Silver Ingots. She carves the greatwood into a long, polished staff, then carefully hammers and shapes most of the silver into a head-sized sturdy staff-topper that looks like a cross between a gyroscope, an armillary, and a telescope. It's got nested axes upon which rings are mounted, slots in the rings for lenses, crystals, and other sundry accoutrements, and an almost preternatural engineered capability to shift and align those lenses and crystals into almost any configuration imaginable. Carefully, she grinds the sheets of Hardened Glass into different sizes, thicknesses, and shapes of lens, melting and reshaping some of the leftovers to fill sundry slots in the staff's shaped array -- but doesn't set them in place yet. She then encloses the Accursed Storybooks in a magical barrier (to prevent any undue attempts at taking chunks out of her) and attempts to slowly draw the magical energy from them, purifying it as it flows out of them and collecting it in a field of power which she then infuses into the greatwood core of the staff. She then takes the Fresh Manablooms and divides them into halves. One half she carefully grinds into a paste which she then polishes the lenses from earlier with, purifying them until they're perfectly clear and, meanwhile, infusing them with enchantments that let them conduct and amplify magic. She then sets the lenses in the armillary topper. The other half, she grinds into a paste as well, but this paste she carefully pours into the center of the staff's topper, focusing intently. The mechanisms whir to life, rotating the array of lenses around the Manabloom paste, which floats in the center of the array and slowly sublimates into pure mana, infusing the silver with magic to animate it and mystically reinforcing it to allow it to take the stresses of combat. The remaining silver, also mystically reinforced, becomes a sturdy base-cap for the staff, to let it be used as a walking staff or to give someone a good magically-strengthened whack without putting the delicate head mechanism at undue risk. Scrutinizing Staff (T4) hopefully created! Scrutinizing Staff WEAPON SKILL: Align Lenses. Gain Focused2, Enlightened2, and Energized2 for three rounds. Passively grants +1 Skill Slot, and upon making a basic attack on an enemy, you may Scan them as a Bonus Action. Damage: (?-?) Light (up to GM discretion). Range: 1-2. Retreat: 1. Counter: 1. Hit: 7. Stat Changes: +3 MMP, +1 INT She equips the Staff, and for good measure changes her skillpoints to be: 5 HP, 6 MP, 10 INT, 7 RES, 10 SPC. She then notices the Locustblighted Celefruit and Lumipods, and quickly scans all the fruit with magic to detect which are infected, then grabs all the infected fruit away, sealing them in a hastily-constructed-and-fired thick clay jar (with attached lid) made of 4 Clay -- along with all the rest of the Locustgrowth in the inventory. She uses 1 more Clay to carefully pack the lid of the jar and make it as airtight as possible, in case the Locustgrowth can spread in the inventory. With that over, she grabs a large teakettle and carves 5 Uniform Logs into cups, then fills the kettle with spring water from the Forest Crossroads. Yes, there's a sink in the house, but it's the principle of things. Once the water's boiling, she carefully washes and prepares 5 Goneblossoms and tosses them into the teakettle before letting them steep for 5 minutes, pouring the resultant tea out into one of the wooden cups and going to wash the teakettle, just in case any darkness from the Goneblossoms leached into it. She then repeats the process four more times, yielding 5 cups total. 5 Goneblossom Tea hopefully acquired, item particularities left up to GM discretion. At the mention of a magic club, Nezira's ears metaphorically perk up. "A magic club? I'm interested. I know a lot of magic thanks to the Codex here" (she pats the book hanging by her side) "but there's always more to learn, and I can help teach everyone else magic. Count me in!" Lastly, she gets breakfast (gotta start the day off right!). She notices Marron wants food, asks her what drinks/food types she prefers, and also tells Chloe, "Hey, I'm feeling productive. Want some upgrades to your stuff? And especially, do you want your sword to do anything specific better -- hit harder, counter easier, move in your hand better? I have an idea for it...". Then she walks off to explore the Endless Gardens. She casually walks through the Reception, waving to the Receptionist and Bladedancer, decides to avoid the brewing battle in Yggdrasil's Approach, and veers off to the right. She notices the Sap Tree, and tries to collect the residue of the sap and take a cutting off any still-living branches, if there *are* any still-living branches, both without harming the tree further. She then strolls up to the Fireblast Encampment, notices the rebels, and immediately prepares for battle. -------------------- Thymium planning sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xSq...dit?usp=sharing

<ROUND NINETY-TWO>
Auth notes Acacia's presence in the Garden Home, prompting him to send out an Ink Specter to meet Omo. She flinches at the creepy, black-ink construction of the specter, quite nearly taking a swing at it with her Tomehammer. OMORIKA: ... OMORIKA: It... looked like Lucid. In a way. OMORIKA: Apologies for the scare, sir Author. OMORIKA: Anyway, I guess you've found Acacia's home, then? OMORIKA: I'd love to personally talk with her, but if she's in a bad mood, there's nothing I can really do. OMORIKA: Bluntly, she hates me. She hates me for my relationship with Abies, my summoning skills, and because I was related to Abies's death. OMORIKA: We're incompatible, basically. She also probably wouldn't be happy to find me here, as that would mean I've left my post, and she might be able to put two and two together and determine that I've gone traitor. OMORIKA: Also, despite all of her aggression... she's quite good at the quiet, more refined arts. She's actually responsible for a good deal of the Endless Gardens; you might not think her one, but she's quite the impressive gardener. OMORIKA: You've also already deduced that she's an artist, and I'd dare say that she's one of the finest on Sussui. OMORIKA: If she wasn't so obsessed with power and leadership, maybe she'd become the finest artist on Sussui. Auth then goes to visit Acacia himself. He knocks, and tries to confirm that Acacia does in fact, live in the house Acacia was just at. ACACIA: No, I'm not here. He then offers her some coffee. She doesn't seem to accept. ACACIA: Oh sure, I'll accept pity from you gorillaholes. Not. ACACIA: I don't need your pity. I need a second chance. ACACIA: I didn't deserve to be put back here. Sure, I might've launched a traitorous gorilla through a building and been... generally unstable, but I need to be out there! ACACIA: He's going to bring me back, and everything's going to be fine again. ACACIA: ... Elsewhere, Auth presents a small nest to the baby Gallow, made out of a Uniform Log, a Green Sap Blob, and a Feather Rope Coil. Ethics about using parts of its mother as part of the nest, the nest is created. Auth brings the baby Gallow to the nest, and it appears to quite enjoy it. It's not sleeping yet, but it's cozying up. Hex decides to also join on the befriending Acacia train, carrying cookies and coffee. Like Auth before him, Hex is promptly ignored. He does however, talk about gloating. ACACIA: W-What!? How idiotic can one get!? ACACIA: You know! T-The... battlefield? You sorta... b-eat me up...? ACACIA: God, it feels like I'm talking to a gorillaing twenty year old or something... ACACIA: Then again, you might've not been part of the strike force... ACACIA: If I saw them again... maybe we'd have a proper fight without any stupid, unskilled 'backstabbing' nonsense... ACACIA: And I'd kill every single last one of them. Boshi decides to explore the Replantation. The Gardener there seems to be quite scared of the outsider. Boshi takes a moment to explain himself. GARDENER: ... GARDENER: Y-You're not here to kill us? Thank goodness... The gardener loosens up. GARDENER: ...Lutea. GARDENER: My name is Lutea. And my brother in there is Betula. GARDENER: T-Thank you for showing us y-your kindness! She gives a large, almost comedic sigh of relief. He notes that whoever did the bombings are total extremists. LUTEA: Yeah. I still can't believe the Tabletopians would go out of their way to bomb a place like this... LUTEA: ...And now, the Rebels are launching off firebombs everywhere, too... LUTEA: I'm... not quite sure who you were referring to, but they're still extremists. Both of them! LUTEA: I'd love it if the Rebels would pack up and leave- if things keep going on like this, I'm afraid it'll be impossible to save the garden... She sighs, and waves goodbye to Boshi as he goes to poke around the Terra Reviver. He uses 3 Titanium, 16 Wire Scraps, and 15 Crafting Credits of Gold Ingots to make a battery that's powered by his guitar. He plays a solo or two, filling the battery and causing the device to whirr to life. Lutea takes notice of the soft hum of the machine... LUTEA: Oh, did you set up a power source for it? LUTEA: That's... really nice! Thank you! LUTEA: It's been hard to keep it powered- they've actually cut power to a large part of Locaa, believe it or not. LUTEA: I think it's because... they're concerned for the health of Scale Yggdrasil? T-There's been word that the rebels are mobilizing something, and they want to have some additional power ready to deal with whatever the Rebels might throw at them... LUTEA: I just wonder what they're so worried about? W-What would take T-THAT much power to protect against!? LUTEA: Oh, also... LUTEA: Here! A token of our appreciation! Boshi is handed a few potted flowers with an immense storm brewing around it. Tornadopetals obtained! LUTEA: We have a lot of spare Tornadopetals, so I don't think it'd hurt for you to have a few! LUTEA: They're not really pretty... or even safe to have, really. But for someone of your description, they could be helpful! Cypress used one in creating some anti-giant-bird weapon, or something... LUTEA: Maybe you could do something like that? Somewhere in Zone 1, Simeon bids the Rebel Scout adieu. SCOUT: Thanks! SCOUT: Hey; good luck with whatever you're doing here! SCOUT: ...Hell if I really know! The Yung Venuz scan is then denied by Yung Venuz, Yung Venuz again, and then the GM. From me, because I don't think it'd be worth writing his stat-block yet when I'm not entirely sure what his fight would be like. I'd probably scale it based around the time his fight is available. Toast meanwhile, MARRON: Ah, we're going? MARRON: Just give me a second to grab my cloak and my rifle! I'll be right with you, alright? CHLOE: I'll get ready, too! ETTE: (Me three!) CHLOE: Oh, Toast! You said I could borrow your clothes, right...? Toast gives her confirmation. Eagerly, Chloe claims her set of denim jeans and the maroon weird shirt. She meekly heads upstairs to freshen up, coming downstairs dressed in Toast's attire, complete with freshly washed and brushed hair. She has her old outfit bundled together in a neat little pile. CHLOE: ...Maybe we should get someone to wash clothes or something... CHLOE: We're gonna run out at this rat- Ette raises her hand, taking the bundle of clothing. CHLOE: Oh, thanks! CHLOE: Do it whenever you can. No hurry! Marron, Ette, and Chloe are quick to meet up with Toast at the front door. They move as a group to the Endless Gardens. Ette and Chloe seem to be fascinated with the general beauty of the area. Marron is too, if to a lesser degree. She does however, stop to bend over a pluck a nice red flower, which she sticks into her hair. MARRON: Y'know, for a war-torn planet, this place honestly isn't terrible. MARRON: I think I might actually enjoy this place. No boring-gorilla books or loud parties- just a beautiful garden... and hordes of bloodthirsty creatures. MARRON: ...A small downside. Historically, we've kicked their sorry gorillas into the earth. I don't see why it'd be too different here... Terry decides to double-spikepit a Blossom. It falls in twice, somehow only taking (8-2) damage in the process. It floats back up out of the pit, before preparing for combat once again. Verdana, Calibri, and EN all do some stuff. Verdana urges the baby Gallow to be careful. It bobs its head (or just its whole body) up and down, from the relative comfort of its nest. Calibri then talks about his dreams with Chloe. She seems... moderately disturbed. CHLOE: ... CHLOE: Y-You're making my nightmares seem like daydreams in comparison... CHLOE: G-Geez... She takes a few moments to breathe. CHLOE: ...I-I don't know what to say. CHLOE: ... CHLOE: I-I wasn't there, right? CHLOE: P-Please tell me I didn't become o-one of them... ...While Chloe's busy developing her own nightmares, EN preps for combat. Back at the Stage, that unidentified drone keeps on playing alongside the Harmonizer. However, after this extended period of play, the Harmonizer appears to have gotten tired. It gives a yawn, bows, and... actually seems to wave goodbye to the drone as she leaves. ...It looks like she's left a little gift. Harmonious Sheet obtained. It's a Unique Item, interestingly enough! Then, that same Assault Craft fires down upon the Petals in the Crystillery, slaughtering the lot of them. The Bouquet retaliates with a petal directly to one of the assault craft's engines. The petal promptly explodes directly inside the engine, probably causing the craft to crash or retreat. Who knows. Keiko decides to uptick her stats, while Nezira does a spot of crafting. She upgrades her Investigator's Vestments to T3, using a Nice Coat, 5 Fresh Manablooms, 3 Crystal Pens, 15 Paper Sheets, a Greatwood Log, and 20 Crafting Credits. Next, she makes the Scrutinizing Staff using 5 Greatwood Logs, 10 Fresh Manabloom, 5 Accursed Storybooks, and 80 Crafting Credits worth of other materials. But she's not done yet, quickly browsing the inventory and grabbing the 3 infected Celefruit and 3 infected Lumipods. She makes a pot out of 5 clay, then slams the remaining Locustblight in there as well. Pandemic contained! The infected fruit soon break down into Locustblight, adding 6 bits of it into the inventory. To end her crafting spree, she tosses together 5 Uniform Logs and 5 Goneblossoms. This creates... dilluted water. She adds 15 more Goneblossoms total since there's a freaking high number of them, and then gets 5 cups of Goneblossom Tea. It's dangerous, but the sudden boost in magical power is probably worth it, given how easy it is to make. Still not done, Nezira quickly begins chatting up Marron, asking her about dietary preferences. MARRON: Huh? What's this about? MARRON: Anyway, I like pastries, chocolate, and sugar. No meat. MARRON: ...I'll also admit to having a soft spot for potatoes. Ette made me eat them a bunch, and as a result I ended up liking them. MARRON: Says they're good for me, or something. I doubt they're that important, but they're pretty tasty, so... eh. She also asks Chloe if she wants a gear upgrade. She gives her sword a few cursory swings, considering her options. CHLOE: Hm... CHLOE: It'd be cool if you could make my sword fancier, but with how deadly our foes are getting, I'm... k-kinda afraid for myself. CHLOE: I think it'd be reassuring to have a nice suit of armor. Some sort of light plating that'll stop things from clawing into my soft, squishy flesh. CHLOE: Bonus points if it has a knight-like aesthetic! I've always kinda liked knights. Shiny armor, chivalry, honor... all those things~ To round off her string of actions, she grabs 8 blobs of Blue Sap, and then tries to take a living branch from the Silverwood Tree. She succeeds in collecting two branches, which equates to 2 Silverwood Logs. Irongutta meanwhile, decides to adapt to the weather and makes a high-quality zapball called Ball Lightning! This uses 3 Electromagnetic Clusters, 3 Durasteel Ingots, 1 Titanium Ingot, 10 Wire SCraps, 2 Circuit Boards, and the Metal Sun. Back near the front of the line of posts, Venia talks with... probably the gardeners, yeah, about Yaga. LUTEA: The Yaga...? LUTEA: ... LUTEA: It's a gigantic Iti that swims through the ground and eats people, I think. LUTEA: Apparently, people don't see much of it anymore. However, there's been a rumor! LUTEA: Apparently, one soldier saw it randomly spring out of the ground, like an oversized Inciter trap or something! There weren't any signs that it was there, either! LUTEA: If that's true, then it's been evolving. I don't see that being very efficient though, waiting around- maybe it'll change more and become unstoppable... She then notes that there'll be fighting around the Approach to Yggdrasil. She nods, staying put. She's probably occupied with her job, anyway. She then jostles awake the Informant, and begins to note how she's about to dismantle their elite infantry. INFORMANT: ...mmm. INFORMANT: ...What were we doing again...? INFORMANT: Oh, right. INFORMANT: Good luck with that. I don't believe that a full group of soldiers will fall for dumb sleep tactics. INFORMANT: I believe you're making a mistake. She heads off anyway to the Fireblast Encampment, creating a spell while hopping over. The rebels there eye her up, trying to take read of the situation. Suddenly, she springs upwards, quote unquote "shelling" the Ashstorm with the Informant. The two tumble into one another, falling over and sprawling themselves along the ground. The Ashstorm and Informant eventually both get back up as the squadron of rebels prepares for combat. INFORMANT: ... INFORMANT: Leave no survivors. And pass me whatever weapon you've got. The Ashstormer tosses the Informant a rather fearsome looking halberd. He shrugs as he takes the blade, which appears to have a rather wicked looking serrated blade, made from pure Durasteel. INFORMANT: Leave no survivors! Suddenly, some other players strike! Boshi attempts to run in and smash a Rifler, but suddenly finds that the Chainknight has taken its place! He's not quite sure how what's effectively an iron meatball of a soldier can move so quickly! A gigantic chainsaw sword causes him to back off. CHAINKNIGHT: oooh, you look fun CHAINKNIGHT: i've never killed an outsider before CHAINKNIGHT: maybe you'll be fun to dissect! <YGGDRASIL'S APPROACH, ROUND TWO> Not much progress has been made on either side. While the Chairians have lost a few members, they're no longer all stunned with fear and are now operating at full capacity. Prepare yourselves! Also be wary of the Iti that have just spawned in- there's a new type called the Migi, that'll go and take over untamed wildlife! Try and either kill the Migi or tame the Sapsqueals before the Migi get to them! <FIREBLAST ENCAMPMENT, ROUND ONE> The Rebels aren't too threatening... with the exception of their elite units. The Chainknights are slow, durable area attackers that can and will survive everything you throw at them (for awhile), while the Ashstorm in the back is an area denial specialist with massive damage. In addition, the Assassins are capable of dealing hefty damage if they have somebody to flank for them.. Someone durable, who can get up close. The Chainknights, for instance. Also, there's a wounded Chairian in the back. Consider rescuing them? Also, it's totally up to you as to whether you want to kill the Informant or not. There could be benefits to both. Just be sure to KO him before his special charges, as that could be deadly. -------------------- |

-------------------- what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies. does the lamppost just become magnetic Yes. Yes it does. also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one "Sir, the man just survived a blast from the Ultimate Cannon. It did destroy the thorn bush though." rad "What the gorilla." |
