Yeah... No. I do not believe that would be the most... healthy thing to discuss here. The shippers part, that is.
How popular? That is a subjective term. I shall still answer, of course. I believe that the current question is most likely brought on by the fact it seems empty. This is not the case. I am usually on here most of the day, (If I am not busy) and am probably one of the people here with the most free time. But, the point is, "pretty popular", as some of my friends would say.

We should all contribute to the DTG animations. So that we will all show what we think the series is like.

I agree. We should all contribute to the animations as much as we can. I'm afraid writing, ideas, and supplemental material as well as helping track down various things that happened elsewhere that are relevant are the only things that will be useful.

Basically, the most I'm going to be is a writer for the durn things since I have absolutely no artistic talent in terms of drawing or animating.

Fun Fact: Techincally my main "Blue" character is female. Or at least the character I based her on. Yeah, a character based on a character. I doubt you know this, but I used to do a lot of online roleplaying.

I've purposely avoided saying this though, because of various reasons. You might've noticed me akwardly avoiding gender specific pronouns in my posts about her. I was never planning to bring her gender up if it weren't for the current topic.

I'd actually prefer if you pretended I never said this when on the main thread. Just to avoid the reasons I had before.

I can help designing, ideas, and track down things.

But why so shy on that buddy? I sure ain't gonna make fun of you for it. Takes a brave man to roleplay as a girl in front of his buddies.

Besides, your character isn't the first girl, serpent's got you beat to it. I think what he was talking about was that there's going to be a character that's openly stated to be a girl. Honestly, in terms of shipping, I don't think any of this is going to be terribly significant except for maybe that one awkward; "I can't believe I got the snot kicked out of me by A GIRL." moment. Honestly DTG is too... explosive to have time for shipping.

And it doesn't matter whether or not we address shipping in the games, once this thing gets big and out there, if there aren't any girls handy, it'll just result with the guys getting paired up with Mary Sues and other OCs more often.

Oh, I must have missed that post. When I saw the edits on serpents wiki page, I thought it was someone griefing it.

Well, I wasn't sure whether I was going to even make her female, or like genderbend the character I based her on or something.

Maybe you don't frequent the same parts of the Internet I do, though I think you might, but there's no situation too intense for shipping.

I also wanted to avoid a headache of pronouns. For the record, I, the person behind this account am male.

Also, I think you underestimate shippers abilities to ignore orientation.

There are also IC reasons, but I can't go into that without going into the socio-economical conditions of the character's world.

Just going to say, if someone, for some reason, feels like shipping me... If you can make the comatose killer of thousands wearing Monochromium-Powered War Armor inhabited by a Slenderman-Archetype dark entity into a romantic figure, I will be very impressed indeed.
