Destroy the Godmodder RPG? Just so long as the tutorial features our Ancestors. I sure would like to see other people's interpretations of my own one, who I pretty much imagined as an expy of Nautilus (League of Legends) with the serial numbers filed off.

Heh. Cahlugrumba Tribesmen. Sorry if that part was offensive, but it was funny. (I hope) Who would have expected them to be living in my B1 floor? Me. Heh.

I have been fiddling around with RPG Maker the last few days. I am seriously thinking of abandoning everything i do on the side except my job if i get it to do a Destroy the Godmodder spinoff game, but i think that RPG would work better if i had multiple writers and some who do artwork and sprites.
So, for anyone interested, tell me here. It is a community thing after all.
Hold on... a DTG RPG? Wow. Ambitious. How would it work exactly? It isn't like the enemies progress in strength linearly. Is it going to be like a video game or like a forum game or what?
Also, Modpack, in your DTG mod, you must have Rapture as an obtainable item. Albeit it an obscenely difficult to make one. (All thirteen of the elemental level 5 swords, plus enough raw material/grist/whateverthealchemiterwilluse to make a level 75 alchemy. It'll be SO COOL.
It'll work like almost any role playing videogame, depending what i can get out of RPG Maker. Maybe some minigames or platforming sequences mixed in. That entirely depends on scripts.

Hmm... Interesting. What character(s) will you be playing as? Random players stuck on the server or as Us? I'm not entirely sure how you plan to make it work is my thing, because, well... There's not a whole lot of grinding you can get out of this because there are long periods of time where there aren't ANY small entities that would be suitable for grinding in an RPG.
I thought the RPG would work well if it either focuses on some barely explained backstory things, like the gathering of the ancestors, or, as you said, a similar war with other characters playing against another Godmodder. The story is only in it's early scripting phase, so i am mindmapping all ideas i have.
I think that the "different war, different godmodder, different army" works best though. Maybe i could make some similarities between the players from our war and the one in the RPG. I guess the PG players and the Godmodder would be constantly spawning new enemies and eveyr PG gets their own zone.

I don't really know the limitations of RPG Maker, but how about this?
In a doomed timeline, the Godmodder has won the war. Most of the AGs and Neutrals are in hiding, the ones that are not are dead.
At the start of the game, Twinbuilder comes up to the player. He says to the player that they are the chosen one, and whatnot. After giving the player some starting items, he leaves to fight the Godmodder. Twinbuilder loses. The Godmodder becomes the First Guardian of Minecraftia.
It looks incredibly hopeless, but against all odds, the player will succeed. The player will recruit the remaining AGs and Neutrals, and as a party they will go through four zones. The first three will belong to the PG players, and the last the Godmodder. The player will defeat all their enemies, and recruit, kill, or otherwise defeat the PG players in boss fights. Finally, the players approach the Godmodder's castle or something. They will fight through that, and finally fight the Godmodder in a final boss fight. It'll be epic.
And just after they defeat him, and begin celebrating, the doomed timeline ceases existing. Because I don't really like happy endings.

Just saying, feel free to kill alternate-me so my power core can autoterminate and kill something especially big-n-bad. Feel free to leave him alive/kill him part of the way and let the player have the APAWA/whatever too.

A DTG RPG vidyagaem sounds like an amazing idea, if it gets done right, good luck to you, and let me know if someone who has no idea how can help you out.
I like fseftr's idea. Although possibly there could be a bonus zone? Because piono wouldn't stick around if the godmodder won. He'd stay far enough away that he didn't have to worry about getting curbstomped, but still be able to benefit from the accumulation of power that happens around the godmodder. Actually, given the chaos that he's caused, he might just qualify as a bonus boss on his own, especially if he were equipped with weapons like Rapture, the Energy Obliterator, and doing what he almost certainly would do, which is fight the player with his various lackeys (Dimentio, Phobos, Tricky, etc.) protecting him.
And honestly I just don't see piono's stuff fitting in any of the four regular zones unless piono were a mini-boss in the godmodder's zone.
But I like fseftr's idea, because 'different everything' wouldn't be DTG. You'd have to think up with new enemies for everything, and the only thing the same would be the fact that there's a godmodder as the main villain.
But all criticism, constructive or otherwise (I'm not good with words, so sorry if I said something offensive) aside. I would like to try out your RPG K4yne.
Fseftr's idea is good, it takes a lot of work away, but as i said, i need help with sprites, avatars, and art. I guess i can find a tileset with a Minecraft theme somewhere, and some people could write their own dialogue for their situations.
Also, i want a fat plot twist or two. Not just "Godmodder wins" or "fseftr hates happy endings so you are all going to die" "this timeline is doomed, you are all going to die". But i guess when i outline the zones (+2 planned bonus zones) it will eventually work something out.

No, noone will die, but when it will be a doomed timeline instead of an alternate universe, it will have to end somewhere. I guess after completing all main zones and everyone gets warped to the bonus zones to compensate for it or the doomed timeline ends after completing the bonus zones. I guess in that context, making the game AU would give more options for an appropriate ending.

If you think I have an odd library now, Leon, you will be extremely surprised if everything. I have planned for the next four turns or so actually happens. What inspired you to say that, anyways? The Cahlugrumba Tribe in my Lower Grand Library? The Waylords? The nearly-constant rain of things that are not supposed to fall from the sky? The fact that the fortress is so huge you have all explore 30% of it in total! and that is not even counting the Dark Forest in the Greater Courtyard? Please, tell me what is the oddest thing you have seen here as-of-yet. On the matter of the RPG, I think I would either get into some epic duel against the Godmodder, which turns out to be extremely anti-climatic and leaves me dead on the floor, or holding it out with a few players in the Library, as the wards are tied to my life-force, and cannot be broken without first killing me. I have no idea which, but in the timeline described by Fseftr, I would assume it is the first, unless I die in the sidequest, of course. On that matter, I am think of calling the sidequest: Erelye's Library: Wrath of the [redacted so there are no spoilers], or EL:WotLG. I bet 1 damage on the Godmodder nobody will guess what the LG stands for until I tell them.

Erelye, are you going to narrate the current actions?
Sorry, already posted three times. I shall say you do indeed kill the Waylord, so you do not have to wait a few hours. The climax is approaching... and it is not where I regain my memory, but something after. Just for information's sake, a Greater MRF restores three I-s, a Condensed two, and everything else one. I recall saying that there was enough Ichor in there to create two items instantly. Amperz4nd made a Standard. One I is already gone. That should clear a bit up.

Not just. Does that mean everyone will die?
