That, from the perspective of 0, is an event that will almost certainly happen but definitely hasn't happened yet. However, for all due intents and purposes, if you're in Limbo you're dead 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 times out of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
This is almost certainly a possibility to explore for the OTHER GMs, though, as UserZero's allegiance of greater godmodders is alive and unaccounted for post-DTG2, and almost certainly going to be a challenge to overcome. Or something.
I mean there's also the weird question of "Does Sans really deserve to be there." Which given the Council's kind of bleh choices, the likely answer is yes. Wow, that was just abysmal grammar.

Thank you for taking my obvious manipulation as your brilliant idea. huehuehuehue. Always happy to subconsciously have the plot be twisted in my favor! :mspa:
Oh, while I'm at it: I know some of you are inconvenienced with BBcode right now, specifically the editor. Short: If you manually type out the bbcode it works almost all the time. BBcode for the standard 'MC chat' font is [ font=courier new ] without the spaces between the brackets.
Reluctantly crouched at the starting line,
Engines pumping and thumping in time.
The green light flashes, the flags go up.
Churning and burning, they yearn for the cup.
They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank,
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank.
Reckless and wild, they pour through the turns.
Their prowess is potent and secretly stearn.
You guys, or at least a great deal of you, are probably aware of MCF's semi-infamous editor, or more accurately, it's glitchiness, and how it occasionally rends posts into dust, or the spam filter deletes it, or worse. I have suffered so many crashes just from that editor, and of course, there's rarely a warning nor a course of action that I could take (and trust me I have tried) that would not make this glitchiness WORSE or lag it out so much it crashes anyways. And those crashes cost a lot of time out of me and the updates in general.
At this point, I've come to the sound conclusion that, while at one point we were confined to MCF, at this point we definitely are not anymore. With successful 'branches' of the game on two different forums, on top of having our own forum, wiki, and TvTropes page, while it might be presumptuous and hurbis-filled to say it, we really do have more places to go. Plus, while I understand that Minecraft is a passion of ours, let's face facts. Half of us here go on this forum exclusively for this game, and the other half still considers it a major attraction for why they're here and not doing something else.
In other words, at this point in time, I think it's high time we left this forum. For where? Terraria-one of the sites of our ongoing DTG games, in possession of a considerably less glitchy/crash-prone forum, and still reasonably popular enough to prevent an issue of stagnation, while still being fully able to function. It would be a major switch, which is, of course, why I'm putting this here.
Now, what I've stated above is an opinion-and for some of us it's an opinion we've held for a while. HOWEVER, I'm not doing anything yet, and might not follow up on this. I want a great majority of people backing me up on this. At this point, it's affecting how I update and how I feel about updating-it would be less torturous if I didn't have to worry about it crashing, and considerably easier to format how I would like it, which takes a great deal of pain and suffering out of the process. In other words, it's an official problem. However, I would want to defer to you guys on this, ergo I ask a question: Would you join a completely different forum JUST to continue playing DTG?
I'll open up a poll on the main thread and continue trying to get the next update out. IF we decide to switch over to Terraria, there will be NO CROSSOVERS between this and the coincidental Terraria DTG. If you have alternative suggestions as to where we could go, state them out loud, but please note our primary choice on TCF over MCF is because Terraria is proven to be able to handle a DTG game-though we can approve of anywhere else (and indeed I would moderately prefer places we haven't been before) as long as you have experience and the community is reasonably sizable. If playerbase interest isn't strong enough, however, than there will be no move.
This will not affect this update or any other during the voting period. Updates will continue on as normal, so don't worry about that.
I'd be okay with it, except we are already WELL into the meat of this game, and I don't really like the idea of having the logs of DTG0 split between two different sites.
If we do end up moving to a new forum I think we should finish up whatever turn we are on when the decision is made and then continue where we left off on the new forum.

As I have stated on the memo, as the current GM of DTG: Terraria, I fully support this change. The MCF are absolutely terrible currently, as the font and formatting problems show, and Terraria is proven to be able to support a DTG game. The only problem would be having two big DTG games on the same forums, but a lot of us play both games in some way (except for me and Tazz, who GM them) so, as long as players agree to move and continue to play, it shouldn't be too bad. The DTG forums are out for reasons of no more newbies coming in, leading to stagnation, as well as its abysmal character limit of 50k. Overall, XenForo (the forum software that Terraria uses) is much, MUCH better than MCF, the only things that I dislike being the inability to hide edits and the formatting of hr. But the benefits, in my opinion, vastly outweigh the problems.
I've been on the MCF for several years, and during that time, I think there were two major updates. Each one changed things for the worse, making the forum more broken. Problems have piled up without permanent fixes from the MCF staff, and it shows when Tazz tries to update a game requiring posts this big. I'm on board with the move, though I'm not sure where we should go. The Terraria forums seem like a safe bet, but I would like to go somewhere new also.
If everyone wants to go through with the move, then I'd like to as well. I still play Minecraft (SH Online mostly), but this is the only part of the MCF I frequent, and I'd be more than willing to make a new account if it means making Tazz's updates easier.
I'm fine with it as long as you link the new page.

Destroy the Godmodder 2 ended nearly a year ago. But just because it's ended doesn't mean it's dead. Throughout Destroy the Godmodder 0rigins, I plan to continue telling various aspects of its story through "flashforwards" depicting characters such as Project Binary and Build. Maybe you'll even figure out what MTT Industries really means! And no, it's not about Mettaton. Anyway, that's not what this announcement is for.
They say that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Have you learned from history? I doubt it. Here you are, waging the same war, just at a greater and more horrific scale, and at another point in time. If you had taken the advice of the ancients, you would have started smaller. Maybe forgotten about this entirely. I will say, you have taken some of their words to heart. You've certainly returned to your roots - quite literally, too.
Yes, you're certainly going to be doomed to repeat it...
I'm going to be making a Flash animation, just like I've always intended. It will detail the events of a particularly climatic moment in the game, the Arrival. I'm not going to be treading any new ground - this is just a retelling of what's already happened. But this time around, you'll see the action, not just read it. There will be images. There will be animated images. There will be other animated images. And music, too. All to coincide with the nine, one, and zero that started this entire mess.
I'm doing all the drawing, Split - my brother - is doing all the animating. Making an animation has been something we've wanted to do for a large part of DTG2's life, but while it was going, we realized we really couldn't make a series of animations chronicling the whole game. So we've settled for the next best thing - a single animation about a specific part. I'm proud with the 45 or so seconds we've done so far, and he is too. Hopefully, when the finished project drops, you'll be happy too.

Sure. Although if we do move to a new forum it should either be the DTG forums or maybe a forum we haven't had a game on (like, say, Bay12)
