Just so you guys know, EVERYONE is getting the power up. Eric gets a little bit more than everyone else, but not a whole lot.
At least, that's how I understand that it's going to work. Twin may choose to do something different than the effect that I/The Author was going for, but hey. It'll at least look really cool.
OK, Talist, this post has been a long time coming but it HAS to have happened at this point.
Now, before I actually make it, let us be clear: You are a fantastic player, perhaps THE BEST player here, as you very cleanly and simply worked out THREE super attacks that could have been the final blow, and two were only disqualified because neither killed the Godmodder-your Vaccum Attack, by word of Twin, was the last eliminated. If I wasn't going tryhard (I'll admit I went pretty tryhard for the kill there) you would have gotten the kill. In other words, you were incredibly close. Plus, refer to FBSN's (FINALBATTLESTARTSNOW's) post regarding your argument, you've been important.
...Which is why I have to say it: I think you should quit DTG2. At least for the 'postgame' (and it IS the postgame), but I think that you should very legitimately think through if this game is right for you AT ALL, and consider abandoning the whole game. I'm not the only one who thinks this, this is a thought shared by Twin himself, and for a good reason. You have basically been horribly underwhelmed and disappointing by every last twist and turn on the battlefield, it seems. ever since the MBoA, AKA the very beginning of the end. I'll be straightforward-you've basically complained about nothing short of EVERYTHING, it seems, which is annoying in and of itself, but it's absolutely frustrating and blood-boiling to me to see such a great player let down by the game. The fact is, however, the game is fairly simple and what you aim for...Isn't. Your Level 9 Title isn't 'Unmatched Complexity' for no good reason. You have the most complex entities (and thus the best), you have the most complex and interesting RP character, and when you try to go for attacks you make them better than any other. Everyone kind of pales in comparison unless they have, like, a week. And I'm pretty sure if you had a week to write up one uberattack you would blow me out of the park. You are clearly a whole calibur above everyone else.
...which is part of the problem, really.
I have been meaning to say this for a long while now Talist, but the main problem between you and this game, above all others, is that you try too hard. I've gotten similar advice before, I tried very hard and exhausted myself from an RP at one point, and I can see this happening to you as well. You're just running into a brick wall here, and you're running out of ideas. You still do, but I wouldn't use them at all at this point, because legitimately, the game is not worthy, I guess. Not many other ways to put it, either, and not many ways to explain it, but basically this game was not meant for someone of your competency level to grace it, because you continue to prove that you are, in fact, incredibly intelligent.
Plus, remember what you said about only joining for the RP? I'm sorry, but you were wrong and you have proved it for me, no amount of RP can make a game worthwhile if the game is bad, because game itself is almost impossible to ignore. Aside from the fact that your RP is more accurately good material for your own BOOK SERIES, it's literally the one thing other than entities you haven't complained about now! You have complained about the backstory and you've complained about the actual story and you've complained about some of the twists and you've complained about the lack of entities and you've complained about the science in what is clearly some very soft science fiction and you've complained about not being able to GM because of College. If you're so salty about everything why continue at this point? The worst part is when luck is involved because you can't read Twin's mind. You didn't know about the cockpit so your pseudo-finale was 'wasted'. You didn't know about GM Soul so three (and even if you got the kill instead of me, two) of your finales were very legitimately wasted (though if I was GM I would allow a repeat on at least one of them). And so-on.
Even if you're only leaving temporarily to just think and do other things, I wholly recommend it at this point. This is legitimately the Post-Game. You CAN relax. But, I personally think that you need to really reconsider if this game has honestly been enough fun. If you're not having legitimate fun, there's no point in any of this for you.
I don't think you should quit, but don't think you need to stick around for the entire thing.
Wilson is safe with Blue, and should fseftr feel like he can't find a safe place for the fox, the IUPC will have a safe home planet that could act as a sufficient place to have Wilson Put On A Bus, and just have him owning a potion shop there until such time as you decide to retrieve him.
I kinda really don't want you to go, but tazz is right.
You're a bit burned out from all the plot, because you've been trying too hard to raise everyone up to your level. And I don't think everyone's ready for that.
You are to be applauded for your efforts, but if the time is to come, then your efforts will be needed then.
Frankly, I agree with some of your complaints, Talist. And while I don't want to see you go Tazz has a point. You have put so much effort in that it's quite frankly novelworthy at this point, and you're in a forum game where the main plot is that a Godmodder has somehow hacked the entire computers. I would READ Wilson's story. I don't know if I would read DTG as was, if it was novelized. No offense to Twin, because the game is really quite amazing.
But seriously, Talist, you put too much effort, too much of yourself in to what eventually boils down to words on a screen shot into the ether. I congratulate you, but you need to take this game with a grain of salt. It's not a story. It's just a game. You are trying to make a story. Twin is making a game.
That, and TWIN IS HUMAN. He makes mistakes. He made an honest mistake with this one. He overshot, with the whole "The Godmodder Must Be In The Spotlight" shtick that came up with Psi-Scratch. But seriously, give him a chance, and don't expect anything more than a game, because that is what DTG is, in the end. It's a game we play.
And while you are an amazing player, if you feel like you need to or want to leave, take a break, back off and calm down, I will not try to stop you.
Best wishes in whatever you decide to do.

EDIT- ... I accidentally hit post reply when I wasn't done... I wasn't planning on doing this at any reasonable speed, so it will probably take a while for me to finish. Please ignore this until its done though.
Edit2- Commence slow face palming. I'm now convinced I've been jinxed or something because I finished the post and hit preview. Then I wanted to delete something, so I clicked inside the text box and hit backspace, but apparently I didn't actually select the text box so my browser went back a page. Ugh... Let me just retype some of the more important things...
@Twin: One of my biggest problems with things being dark is that the game started off light and we could have humor interjected into the darkness. But now, any jokes or irony seems quite out of place. Is the light the Godmodder saw based of A Streetcar Named Desire? You know, the play? I'm actually kinda curious, because that makes the Godmodder out to be Blanche, delusional about hoping for his oil billionaire Shep WhatsHisFace to come and save him. Also, you better remove those 4 letters of profanity from your update because...
@Everyone: I apparently accidentally swore during that rant and got an infraction because that's the only thing that could make things even better. Ironic how I get told off for this being a family friendly site because I was complaining about how everything was dark and gritty. Anyway, I'll be kinda leaving I guess. I still enjoy playing out Wilson even if there's no one else around, so maybe I'll drop in a 30 second long attack as well. But... I should be focusing on other things, like writing for Willow or working on my map or even something vaguely practical in a schooling sense. Maybe I'll even try to find a writing competition and copy and paste a bunch of story in as my entrant, with a couple things to clear up the world from an outside perspective of course.
Its almost comical how many little things seem to be going wrong for me... almost... But, that does mean I can blame everything on luck. WHY HAV THOU FORSAKEN ME, RNGESUS? Oh... because life doesn't use RNG... aw... Also, because you're a joke made up by Youtubers. That might have something to do with it.
First of all, I'm sorry. But, I always say that after every outburst, so I'm not sure what its worth at this point. But... sigh... now I've really gone and done it... and overblown everything...
Second of all, you seem to think I'm disappointed in Twin and trying to attack him in some way. That wasn't my intention. I'm disappointed in this event, not Twin himself. You can dislike one book in a series but still like the author's work, just maybe not that one book in particular. I did like the MBOE, as you can probably guess. I also like when there's just... nothing happening and I can focus on trading entities back and forth, adapting them, molding them to better suit the situation. Adapting... I remember when I played Smash 3, I'd sometimes be called the Borg because whenever anyone starting playing one character too much, their win rate against me would fall pretty quickly. Random... uh... side story...
For everything else, I'll respond to the posts in the order I saw them, which is FinalBattleStartsNow -> Tazz -> Piono -> Netpatham -> Twin -> Miscellaneous other thoughts
-----FinalBattleStartsNow-----
I know you didn't intend it, so no need to apologies. Its just random comments like that make me feel worse. I can only hope to inspire others I suppose. And its not that I'm losing heart, I'm losing interest. And yes, we have done this before, which is why I'm losing interest. That and no entities. I like having entities to vary things up, at least for myself.
-----Tazz-----
Heh... sounds like you're trying to slowly push me out of DTG and into becoming a novelist what with being GM and now saying I should quit. Just like that episode of 30Rock where the kid almost convinces Jack to become a marine biologist. Although now that I've written that, seriously. Don't take that as anything other than a joke. Really. My mixing jokes in with more serious complaints already has lead to several misunderstandings.
I do like DTG. Or at least, used to. I love making entities. And I'm not exactly sure why to be honest. Most of the time, other people just ignore the complicated mechanics of the entity, so its not the joy being my own little GM. Its almost like... I'm randomly throwing a concept onto the ground, letting it shatter into shards and then dare myself to make something usable, make order out of the chaos. I just set up a bunch of different attacks, passives, power bars and whatnot without exactly knowing how they fit together. Then I challenge myself to fit them together in the best, most efficient and most damaging way possible. That's what I like. Oh, and RP. But things feel like they've been just going downhill ever since that curse of no entities... ah... Want to know what the link to DTG in my signature translates to? Its Latin for "Why do we model the world if we ignore its beauty?" I feel like its pointless to make an entity if its just going to be a health bar. A long time ago, I also requested that Twin make my level 10 name be the Latin translation for "He who walks with the beasts whose souls spark the mind." And also, 宇宙の真理のテイルス (Uchū no Shinri no Tirusu). You can probably tell who that was for just by the language. Run it through a translator if you want.
I don't feel like that's exactly the problem. I have missed some actual IRL chances because I've not been aggressive enough. So here I go now. I overcompensate. And... sometimes it works, like with the DreamScape and Wilson in general. But other times, I try really hard, but not quite enough or I try to do something I'm not suited for or any other reason. Either way, I fall a little short and get second place. But... there often times isn't any second place, so I feel like I've just wasted a bunch of effort. And, I do still have ideas. But, they're for entities, like one that fights by generating mathematical formulae or one that essentially plays a board game with its foes as tokens. I don't feel like I'll truly ever run out of ideas for entities anytime soon. Maybe anytime this decade. But, I'll shut up about entities now because when I start going on about them, I get more ideas. And yay, ego inflation. WORSHIP MY SCIENTIFIC AND LITERARY ALLUSIONS!
How am I wrong? I'm not leaving Wilson in the Dream with no narration. Sure, the only thing I needed him to do was actually go there so he knows it exists, if for no other reason than to have a last resort backup for Willow that still makes sense in the story. The game might be losing its interest for me, but I still find the RP fun. Even if there's nothing to do.
OK! I think I have a plan, though it's a preliminary, so changes will be made:
Our first order of business is to get rid of the Propaguns, their ability to inflict confusion is too powerful. It's the same reason we focused on the Doomsday Rings before, and the same reason we destroyed the Legs first. Status conditions REALLY SUCK. This also means getting rid of the Seekers guarding the Weapons.
As we'd have already destroyed the Seekers guarding the weapons, our next offensive maneuver should be to nail the Power Accelerator. The Weapons have to go for the Artemissile to get lost as well, and this one looks nasty. Augmented attacks are never good.
After this, the Left and Right Beams (and thus the Seekers guarding them). I say we go for the Right one as a slight priority over the Left one because the Employer has spited us a bit more, but really that's up to us when we get to it.
Finally, we nail the Central Holder (and thus the seekers guarding it).
As for Godmodder Soul-It should be our priority to keep simultaneously mocking him AND keeping him focused on the Binaries. It could be argued that the Binaries were responsible, one way or another, for literally every event in the War-USE THAT. He can be a big source of damage for either side.
Sounds good. I'm going to try to use my position as the one who detonated the comb rave to pile as many passives onto the field as humanly possible, keep me alive, because I'm going to tie them to Eric, and possibly make it so that I have to redo them every time I die.
Well I created a new system(potentially for dtg rundom illegal spinoff(I will not give you the link)):
Normal alchemies are rank 0(and at any level) and you can do everything you were doing with them before
You can increase the rank of the alchemy by the process of enchanting giving it additional enchants(chosen by the gm)
disassembling an alchemy separate its enchants from it then enchants can be socketed into an alchemy with sockets(an alchemy have 1 socket per level and socketing is an free action) a socketed enchant give a part of its effect to the item but the item does not counts as enchanted.
Killing stuff can give you runes of variable power and when you socket a rune into the last slot of an unenchanted item it create a runeword with special bonus powers also runes give special bonuses when socketed even when not in a last slot also if you have an item entirely filled with runes and that it is a valid runeword it becomes a runesentence(giving extra bonuses)
If you entirely fill an enchanted item with runes you obtain a runeword corresponding to the last rune but you can not obtain a runesentence.(if you find a flaw you are obligated to brag about your discovery in this tread but you can in bonus send a pm and so on)
When you enchant an item to the maximum value possible it is called an unique and a new enchant appears and it gives bonuses depending of the unique.
These enchants are called resonances and they depends of the state of the unique(for example if it is destroyed the resonances of this unique die)
By spending resources you can reroll all the enchants of an alchemy and with each reroll you have an higher probability to have weird enchants and you can reroll to try to have an specific effect(you must declare it).
Mystic orbs:those items can be used to increase the power of an alchemy but they make the alchemy more unwieldy increasing the level requirement orbs can have reflections but then their power is weird and increase a lot more the level requirement.
You can socket an alchemy in an alchemy adding all its effects to the greater alchemy but an alchemy take an number of sockets equal to two times its level.
Well if you do not find that adding rules make the alchemy system simpler simply ask the King in yellow to show you.

The game might be losing its interest for me, but I still find the RP fun. Even if there's nothing to do.
There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.

Anyone feel like translating Binary Prime's text?
Oh no
I translated it, nothing much, actually....
Also, this:
Brightening it reveals doors on either side. This shows Springtrap is a third of the door's size. The code reads: Cyh, gvh, gpe.
Translate that and it reads: PLUSHTRAP.
Peculiar indeed.

People say "There is a city there, and it will stay there until time stops" hearts filled with bleak hope that it be so...
And indeed, it may be, as even the void has not moved it from its rightful place...

OK! I think I have a plan, though it's a preliminary, so changes will be made:
So, is this a clear point of action?
Sounds good. I'm going to try to use my position as the one who detonated the comb rave to pile as many passives onto the field as humanly possible, keep me alive, because I'm going to tie them to Eric, and possibly make it so that I have to redo them every time I die.

Who would like simpler alchemies rules?
