In completely unrelated news, I, along with the other residents of the DTG2 memo, have done something especially odd. Well, disregarding the large rant about North Korea colonizing the entirety of the Milky Way, that is. Anyhow, we placed the players of DTG within the plot of Northwest Mansion Mystery (a Gravity Falls episode, for those who don't know. I'm not going to spoil the plot. Watch it.) Anyhow, here is the list of who we all colloquially agreed would be who. Enjoy. If you ask, I'm sure the other people involved will reveal themselves. If anybody is offended by their position (or lack thereof), it goes without saying goodbye: I'm extremely sorry.
Mabel Pines ==> Young!Lothyra.
Dipper Pines ==> Young!Erelye.*
Pacifica Northwest ==> Young!Blue.
Preston Northwest ==> Piono.*
Mrs. Northwest ==> Netpatham.
Ghost ==> Lumberjack!Serpent.
Mayor Befufftlefumpter ==> DTG Hunger Games Simulator Gutza.
(One of the) Butler(s) ==> Maniac.
Grenda ==> Engie.
Candy Chiu ==> Trickster Ire and/or Talist.
Marius Von Fundshauser ==> Tazz.
"Old Man" Fiddleford McGucket ==> Trollllort.
* To quote Generic: "[Young!Erelye] but slightly less insane," for the record. That reminds me. 'Young!,' in this context, is around twelve.
* #2: The character Piono, not the real person. Real Piono isn't nearly half as objectively evil.
Mabel, Candy, and Grenda were incredibly hard to choose. Mainly due to lack of female characters, I'd expect. Even at that, female characters with a semblance of their personalities. Dipper came between me and Crystal; as one mister Xi stated so kindly, "Because there are only two paranormal obsessive nerds. And Erelye > Crystal in a sanity contest." Pacifica was considerably less difficult to choose. There aren't very many people like her in-game, I assure you. Blue just seems to fit the role best. As for Mr. and Mrs. Northwest, they are essentially just jokes with some base in reality. Surprisingly, Lumberjack Serpent being the ghost has some basis and reason to it, which I am not going to get into, for fear of spoiling the plot for anybody who hasn't seen the epidsode. The non-canon version of Gutza is Mayor Befufftlefumpter due to his bad luck with the simulator. I'm nearly certain that Maniac being one of the butlers was a cruel joke, for which I apologize. Engie being Grenda does not actually require much justification. It was difficult enough getting ego that point at all. As for Candy, we couldn't actually decide between the two. Figures. As forf Trollllort and McGucket, he was the only one insane enough to have the part, and that's considering the vast majority of the blatantly insane people in DTG. Lastly, Marius = Tazz. End of story. I do hope everyone, both creators and readers, enjoyed this, and, once again, I apologize for any anger I may have incurred, regardless of whether or not I actually suggested you.

So, on a somewhat unrelated topic, I have always imagined my Alcubierre {Ish, there's some other stuff} Drive-using spaceships as creating a luminescent shockwave of sorts when they came out of warp, fully believing this to be scientifically inaccurate, but check this out; http://phys.org/news/2012-03-annihilating-effects-space.html
TL;DR, don't be in front of them when they stop, or, since they get outsystem with antimatter rockets before jumping, behind them when they move.

@Gutza; I doubt it, they both use the same technique, it's just a much more efficient way of creating the field. Besides, energy efficiency is a secondary concern to how cool and destructive it is for my IC designs. If I can make spaceships nuke everything in front of them just by stopping, I will.
