Actually, guys, I'd say keep working on the alchemies and start adding in regular entities. The players, when implemented, should have very varied and complex attack patterns and high power to reflect their abilities in DTG. Ideally, the players would be in a set of high-complexity things that would be rather hard to code.
I'd say work your way up. What I'm looking forward to in the mod is mostly the alchemies right now actually, and maybe some of the less powerful entities.

Keep in mind that if a creepy girlfriend mechanic is added, my Dwarf Fortress cute thing murder instincts will kick in, and there will be innocent digital bloodshed.
He probably replaced his left arm with some kind of magical ultra-guantlet to make up for the lack of quickly-accessed robotics back then, if he didn't just heal it. I bet he was a straight-up sword person rather than a hammer guy. He would probably have the Psi symbol on his shirt/armor/whatever, as depicted on the cover of the Ancestor Parable.

Neutrals... well, they wouldn't affect any other team's hostility towards you. All neutrals previously hostile would instead help you, and AG/PG players/entities would act the same as usual.

I also knew, and was making a mediocre joke.
As to the alignment system, I've seen two-faction systems where you basically got friendlier with one or the other depending on who you helped/traded with more, and the easiest way to restore yourself to neutrality was to kill lots of the faction that had gotten too friendly. Which is basically how neutral players seem to behave.

E.G.: Maniac Quest: Exterminate the Vord from the Nether! Reward: Diablo.
Stuff like that. Or, you could have a friendship meter, and it affects how the other factions treat you.
E.G.: AG Friendship maximum = Ag entities/players won't attack you, PG players/entities will attack you.
Both of those MIGHT be too complicated to do, however....
