Yeah... They claim to have completely rennovated it...
Well, actually, the editor isn't as bad as it was before though. The old one had a bad habit of deleting every last bit of formatting without warning, and although this one still deletes formatting, it only does chunks of it.
The thing is that the bugs work differently now, and although the forums aren't quite as buggy as before, its a very, very tiny amount (and took them forever to get it to this point before they just stopped working on it again), so much that its way over-eclipsed by the fact that the bugs now work completely at random.
Just a theory: Couldn't one apply formatting in, say, a Word document, and then paste it in? I don't know if the editor supports that, though.

Yeah, the editor eats all formatting of any form. What you have to do if you want stuff to get pasted in is get it's BB coding, and paste it in like that. It works that way. At least for me, that's how I do my pesterchum posts.
In other news: I think, for the Suckle Receptacle, we need:
Pang Nectar, to process into
Jocose Honey, to fill
Aforementioned Receptacle, to use to fill the
Comb Rave Meter.
Happened to be reading Problem Sleuth...

That is correct. Or, if my memory of reading the first three MS Paint Adventures in five hours serves me correctly, it does. (Of course, I read Homestuck I separately, and about three months before)

Twin talked to me a little bit about it, but I don't think this a big enough spoiler considering how many of us have read Problem Sleuth, Comb Raves come in in Act 4, and there will be AT LEAST 8, almost certainly more, with the likely lower limit being 12. Only players (posters) will get to use them, so you can't make up extra characters to get extra comb raves.

I wonder as well. 8 is canon, though. The thing is how we get the nectar...

I'm pretty sure it won't be the Arrival bosses. Act 4 has some pretty big stuff planned. I don't know this from talking to twin specifically, I know because I helped plan one or two, and I'm pretty sure some of you guys were involved with a few events as well. But yeah, my guess would be that it would bleed from some of the bosses. Twin didn't say anything about it though, because I didn't think to ask. I don't think it would be any different though.
And yeah, 8 is canon, but we have way more major character than Problem Sleuth did. Having only 8 would mean that a bunch of people don't get to use theirs.
What are Comb Raves? Sorry if this is newbish but I haven't read Problem Sleuth and I just got to the part where Rose teleports out of the Skainet Laboratory right before it becomes unestablished.
Comb Raves are basically lime Limit Breaks, being super powerful attacks that only unlock after a certain amount of damage is accrued. (In this case, the boss' damage and not yours.) They're also one-use and more powerful with each consecutive Rave.
Perhaps the combs will be reproducible. It SEEMS like they might have been in PS itself but I have NO clue, at all.

I do not recall exactly, but I do not believe that this occurred, unless I am hallucinating.
On a completely different and unrelated note (so unrelated that it will likely not exceed past this post), I should say that in-game, I had my Pesterchum 'edited' by one of my friends so I could write excessively long-winded things in singular posts. Trust me, you don't want to know what conversation prompted that, though it occurred before the events of my backstory.

Wait. Did you actually get Pesterchum?
Also: note, Mac is supported by pesterchum.

PowerPC Macs are not supported.
Relating to editor stuff, I just write everything in BBCode in TextWrangler, then copy/paste into the editor. Also helps me find where my last post was near, due to quote BBCode. I remember the last editor actually supported inserting formatting and stuff in a text editor then copying/pasting it in. It's the way my posts came to be so... yellow, in the past.

Geez, this editor is ravenous! We need to find it an alternative food source, too. People's posts contain absolutely no nutritional content!
