I indeed know what Balefire is. I liked Wheel of Time up until about book 4, where the author introduced 6,000 minor characters (I'm serious. It was either that or 3,000) and started making it too romantic.
By the end, I think there were about 7,000 side characters. I didn't read that far.
And actually, Future Serpent having a pale crush wasn't anything new. She's had it since she first talked to Eric, though she does jump through time for her conversations, so they all only take up the span of 3 hours, really.
I really need more matespritships on my shipping wall. So far, all I've got is a bunch of kismessitude, one moirallegiance crush, and one auspisticism and one auspisticism crush. EreLibrary doesn't count.
Wait... I've got it. No, Erelye would kill me. How about... Gah. Can't think of any. Is there ANY legitimate possible matespritship here?

There'll probably be a bit more as DTG canon spreads out a bit more and the storyline progresses.
Also, twin, to get the argument off of the main thread. I would like to say that seeing as how this is DTG, and a lot of plots are very convoluted, and the fact that you wanting to get DTG 2 finished as soon as possible suggests that you are planning on continuing the idea of having each session in a chain be run by a different GM, I don't see how it would be completely impossible for tvtropes session to take place right after DTG 2. I understand what you were saying now, but I would like for you to at least keep in your mind, for the distant, future point when one of the two threads finishes, the idea of tvtropes possibly working as a canonical session, even if not right between DTG 2 and 3, as that is not explicitly stated anywhere except in OOC, which can always be revised if necessary. Don't rag on me about not taking no for an answer, its one of those things where I'm one of those bizarre people that cares about the reasoning behind not being allowed to do something more than the thing I'm not allowed to do, so the idea won't go out of my head because I haven't gotten a straight answer beyond a flat 'no' and a handful of not-compromises.
And since you haven't actually said an actual thing about why you react so vehemently to the idea that someone else does a canonical session despite the fact that you yourself are the precedent, I'm going to assume it's something extremely spoilery and I'm just going to have to wait to (in approximate order of what I think to be most likely to least) a: figure out that there's a miscommunication in here somewhere and you're assuming I'm not going to give on a point that I really don't care about, b: find out that you just want to make sure I don't try and abuse being a canonical GM, or c: learn that there's issues with storyline that needed to be avoided.
Honestly, even with those reasons, I'm slightly confused as to why the tvtropes session being canonical is so absolutely horribly unthinkable.
And hopefully, that puts that discussion into can-of-worms territory, and won't be brought up again until twin can actually tell me he hates the idea so much.
