I look around for a cutting tool that could be found in a kitchen. Like a knife, so I can defend myself if needed.
Well, if you're in a KITCHEN that requires utensils that are capable of cutting up food, don't you think it's a certainty that you'll find one? You find and equip a CUTTING KNIFE.

You light up the SACRED GROUND and examine the room as well.
The SACRED GROUND, in stark contrast to the rest of the Manor, is a dark value of red rather than green. Some of the wallpaper appears to be peeling off around you, and candles dimly flicker around the environment.
The room is circular, and at the middle, where you fell through, lies the broken Chandelier and the Flooring it broke. There are four doors on each side of the room.
The south door has a sign that reads, "FORGE".
The west door has a sign that reads, "REPOSITORY."
The north door has a sign that reads, "GAUNTLET."
The east door does not appear to have a sign.
Scattered across the room are various orange stalagmites, and the whole area seems to have a sense of foreboding to it. On the floor of the room appears to be a broken phonograph, even more books, and another Rolled-Up Scroll.
No, there is not a chance of reactivating your equipment in either of those floors. In fact, there is no chance of reactiviating it until the very end of this sidequest.
You equip your INSANITY TUBAS.
It appears that Nimbleguy has powered down and cannot play. You, Gerbil, will take over for him. You attempt to find a battery and miraculously find one a short way off from your current location.
YAY ROSE IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER EXCEPT MAYBE VRISKA
Anyway, seeing as the torch hit a roof, I know something is down there. I carefully scale down the outside of the window onto the roof below, using my sword as a climbing tool by inserting it into the walls and grabbing on. I the look around.
Was it the pink text or the R.L. that tipped you off first, Serpent?
And yes, I did enjoy both of those young ladies' presences throughout their sessions. It was very easy to get into their heads. But, that's a different story entirely.
The millisecond you try to scale down the window, you feel an intense pain throughout your body and you are flung back into the HALLWAY. You have lost 10 HP. Do try to be more "careful" next time.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Jailbreak? Attempt to prematurely leave the Manor.
Hmm...I investigate the safe closer. Maybe I can just mash numbers to make something happen.
Unfortunately, this is Doc Scratch's house. That 'something' is undoubtably gonna be bad. I think we can all guess what I do.
After mashing numbers for a few minutes (to no avail) I sit down in a chair. Maybe relaxing for a bit will give me some ideas.
Okay...so...I check my inventory. Haven't done that yet, maybe I'll find something useful in there. I know I have the book...meh, I'll read it. Don't really see any use charging ahead through hostile territory just to get yourself killed. I'm just gonna wait for everyone to slaughter themselves and THEN go.
Believing in myself: 2/5
You examine the SAFE and button-mash it.
This does nothing whatsoever.
Exhausted, you sit down on a chair and check your inventory.

You decide to read The First Block and Other Legends. You also decide you won't underline the book's title anymore, as it's getting pretty annoying. You sit down on a comfy chair, pick up the book, and start to read...
You flip to the Table of Contents.

After reading the chapter, I head to the Balcony, perhaps I shall see where we are.
> TheLordErelye: Read Chapter Three.
CHAPTER THREE: MONOLITHIUM
The third legend in this book covers an object revered throughout all of Minecraftia and possibly beyond. It covers the Black Monolith, known in old texts as the "Nigrum Mysterii." The Black Monolith is a tall slab of an undetermined material that is described to float, or hover. Four lines are etched through it, and they all meet in the center, where a square is etched. Some texts describe the Monolith detaching into four parts, where the lines are carved, leaving the center floating free, where it is described to twirl. The four sides would then move inwards.
Nearly all recovered documents describe the Monolith to be sentient and one of the most intelligent things in the universe. It is said that the Monolith knows everything, or, at the very least, can Show a person everything. Like the First Block spoken of in the first chapter, the Monolith will, upon activation, give a person what he or she wants most. However, the Monolith does not care what a person's morality, and it is this that gives it notoriety. The Monolith has reportedly granted the wishes of many evil people who sought it out, causing strife and bedlam.
Regardless, getting to the Monolith is in itself a difficult task. Almost all sources report the Monolith to simply not exist in Minecraftia. However, what many of them do not know is that it is a fabled Void Artifact. The Monolith was forged in the Void as a keeper of knowledge. (More information on the Void will be shown next chapter.) It stayed there in a temple known as Monolithium, which eventually grew to become the capital of the people living in the Void. However, very recently, sources reported seeing Monolithium on a Minecraft server.
Therefore, my hypothesis is that an event occurred that caused the Monolith to travel to Minecraftia, near the local populace. This event could be brought upon by another Void Artifact, which seems likely, given that the Hexahedron's most recent fracture occurred not long before reports started coming in.
Monolithium is, in itself, a shrine to the Monolith. There are many, many dedications to the object throughout the temple that shed some light on the Monolith and how people have used it. In order to keep the Monolith out of harm's hands, many puzzles and branching paths were created as false leads and as challenges.
One of the aforementioned dedications has, in fact, been recovered by a scholar known as the Guardian. It reads as so:
"Hidden in the Temple of Black
Lies the secret to untold power
And your worst nightmare
Many have been driven mad by the consequences
Or have become kings and queens
The choice is yours"
This appears to be talking about how double-edged the Monolith can be; many believe they want one thing but instead truly want another, conflicting thing, or they ask for one thing, but the Monolith can twist their wish and give them something else. When a fierce warlord once went to the Monolith, it reportedly was one of the things that started the Great War, the driving force in dividing the Humans and the Testificates. The Monolith may have also had a hand in starting the Player Cycle. (You can find out more about the War on Chapter 7, and the Players in Chapter 11.)
If one manages to brave the temple, they will find the Monolith on top of a giant pyramid. However, it has one last line of defense: The Infinity Seal. The Infinity Seal is a shield that covers the entire Monolith, making it impervious to nearly all attack. Only the most powerful and original attacks may pass through, and even then it will take a lot to crack the Seal.
However, once it is broken, the Monolith's counsel may be earned. Afterwards, the Monolith teleports to another location throughout the universe. (Or beyond it. It is thought it goes to the Void to repair, which would explain how it continually repairs its Infinity Seal.) So, there is the Black Monolith. One of the greatest legends in history, and one whose mysteries may never truly be understood.
The chapter ends there.
You enter the BALCONY.
The BALCONY is a sizable area with guardrails at the edge. There is a table with a chair on either side and a fully assembled chessboard on the table. The sides appear to be green and red rather than white and black. Leonstar0 is on the floor, having sustained injuries.
Looking forwards, you can see a green cityscape. Looking up, what appears to be two moons.
I look around for some drapes, which I then tie together and throw down the hole to piono and nimble. I try my hardest to keep my balance and not fall i-- crap I fell in.
The only drapes are in the HALLWAY, and you aren't in there.
I also begin to make some bandages out of... wood.
Chair-making has provided some interesting abilities.
[ 1 / 3 ]
You examine the ENTRANCE.
This room is rectangular in shape, like the Hallway, but not as long. It stretches to the left, so you are at the right end of the room. The wall opposite where you all walked in is made completely of mirrors. The floors is carpeted more luxuriously than the other sections of the manor, and there are two chairs and two desks on either side.
There is only one door, and it is on the wall that the door you came through.
(For reference, this wall is the south wall. This room is above the Library.)
This door is bigger and sturdier than the other doors you've come through, but not as big as the one in the Library. There is no sign above it.
However, where its lock should be is a counter that currently reads 2/6.
Interesting is correct.
Also, just so you know, Ire. The vase you seek can be found by inputting the correct sequence of numbers on the Safe. Just giving you some friendly advice.
I switch out my current weapons for my X-Inferno and X-Blizzard, and put on all armor I have. I place the Enchantment Table down in the Kitchen, and enchant my boots with Feather Falling. Then I place the crafting table down, and use my MODDING SKILLS to mod the table, making it act as a (weaker) alchemizer.
With my newly enchanted boots on, I jump down into the basement, trying not to land on anybody.
+3 to Talist, I claim his +3.
SOMEONE'S ATTACK 7/10
Clever thinking.
You equip the X-INFERNO and X-BLIZZARD. You then equip your IRON HELMET, IRON CHESTPLATE, IRON LEGGINGS, and IRON BOOTS.
You place down your ENCHANTING TABLE and CRAFTING TABLE.
You use the ENCHANTING TABLE to enchant your IRON BOOTS with FEATHER FALLING I. You then re-equip your BOOTS.
You mod your CRAFTING TABLE into an IRON CRAFTING TABLE. Your "MODDING SKILLS" need a bit of work...

If the walls are made of some kind of wood like material, I pile up all the planks I ripped out into a little pile. If they are stone, then I collect 1 large block of it. (This wasn't quoted last turn)
I cut down the drapes in the hallway then cut them into strips. I tie them together at the ends to make a rope.

I do not support the idea of Classes, for the record. Just issuing an official statement.
You insert the Battery into Nimbleguy, re-powering him. Ah. You need a stable internet connection in order to complete the boot-up, I see.
Well, I'm afraid that my manor doesn't support internet, so the network you see must be coming from somewhere else.
{just after my previous post: My form becomes... hazy, and the message: "Amperzand has gone AFK" appears in chat. After a while, I vanish, and the message: "Amperzand has left the game" comes up in chat.}
{Now: The message: "Amperzand has joined the game" shows up. "Sorry, guys, my computer died, looks like even the God-Virus cannot keep Minecraft on without power. Whellp, guess I have no clue what's happening, yet again. 0)_(0}
I attempt to help the nearest AG in whatever way they require, and shoot the nearest enemy with the Mercurian Malady.
{I apologize for swearing at Twin/Scratch/whoever you are, it was part of the roleplay for the "Avatar" character, if you take issue, I will not do it again.}
{Edit; You stopped me keeping the GAHMD because you didn't want the house blown up, but let me keep the APBC? You do realize the thing is a handheld WMD, right?}
Oh, no matter. If your Avatar wants to swear, go ahead. I'd just prefer if he didn't. My manor has a strict No-Swearing policy in order to insure it has excellent guests under the watchful eye of an excellent host, not the opposite.
But, if he insists, I will not stop him. It's not a rule that's enforced very strictly.
I begin several combat charges, these I will save for when I need them.

1/3 Since piono seems to have trashed the one semi that made it through, and not only that, but did so without actually doing anything, I teleport him back to me.
Aw man... You trashed my truck, how was I supposed to react?
The sentry semi is still intact! And not here. Now is it? I quickly put on my iron armor (all pieces) as any defense at all is probably a good thing. I re-equip a void of heat and broken uraniums umbrage and look around warily, keeping an eye on nimble as the fall seems to have messed with whatever he's using for a brain. piono equips the diamond sword and prepares to kill anything menacing, he also puts down torches to light up the area.
You equip your full set of IRON ARMOR, THE VOID OF HEAT, and BROKEN URANIUM'S UMBRAGE. Tsk. I don't appreciate broken swords much. Perhaps there's a way you can restore it.
It appears Nimbleguy's power supplies have nearly depleted, and that is what is causing his various malfunctions.
Piono equips his DIAMOND SWORD. He places down 5 Torches.
"Are you having a seizure?H3y, th4t guy lo0ks l1ke me! Anyone need supplies? I have a crate of em' Oh, and I'm sure we can copy our stuff, if anyone needs armor, the APAWA seems about right. Howsabout we give the new guy some gear? Here, new guy, haz stone tools and a bow."
If Aegis wants armor, I copy the APAWA and give him the copy.
I continue exploring, in this case looking for a staircase, because surely going to different floors is a good idea.
I pour water and a splash waterbreathing potion down the hole with Nimble, Piono, and Dimentiosome, so they can swim up.
I equip the APAWA and the Mercurian Malady, then head to the library Uhm, how hostile do you think a LIBRARY can be? cause' that seems a little more stuff than you need for a I always wear armor, I'd'a thought you'da figured that out by now and the Entropium-firing autoshotty? seems a bit over I LIVE FOR OVERKILL.
A staircase has not been discovered in any rooms so far. However, there is one room that has not been explored, and that is the one that lies behind the door in the ENTRANCE. So, you head there.
There is no possible way to acquire Water or Potions at this time.
You equip your WAR ARMOR and THE MERCURIAN MALADY.
Feeling quite upset about the boar rejecting me, I get up and decide to look around the kitchen for some tea for my headache.
1/3 making tea +1
Also, I don't feel ill anymore, just hungry.
I put out a +3 trade.
2/40
2/15
2/3 I shout up to aegis that I'll trade him one of my extended splash potions of rejuvenation (use it wisely, you can give a whole group rejuvenation for 3 rounds, but until we get the alchemiter back, we only have three) for the ubercharger, I have a feeling I'm going to need it. If he doesn't want the trade, I request some turkey.
While pionoplayer tries to secure some healing supplies, I torch anything hostile that might be coming at us.
3/3 making tea +1
The tea is now finished, I pour it into two cups.
I walk into the hallway and give TheLordErelye one of the cups, I keep the other for my self.

So...uh...
We can't really do anything about Dimentio right now. He might even be dead! The thing is, we have this colossal Big Bad Ensemble going on right now. Kinda tough to do anything when there are 20 guys trying to kill you.
Wait just a second! Why did I not level up? Sure, I left the room, but that was after it died! If you say no, that's alright, I'll just make sure I level up next time.
I equip my gold star. (Don't know what I mean? Read the forge page and go to the last page.)
I sit down at the chess table. "It's been a long time since I saw one of these. Anyone want to play?"

I did notice this anomaly after I finished updating. Since it would be unnecessarily cruel for me to deny you a level-up when you scored hits, I will give you one:

You sit down at the CHESS TABLE.
I don't see why it can't go through. However, you'll need to have a machine akin to the Alchemiter do the process for you. That will be focused on in a few turns, if things progress as they are now.

H3r0br1n3 sits down in the CHAIR and starts to play chess with ManiacMaster.
Thank you for the clarification. ________________________________________________________________________________________
Talist appears to be the only one left in the Library.
Everyone in the Kitchen is unsure of what to do, seeing as the only undiscovered door that they know of lies in the Entrance.
ManiacMaster sees that H3r0br1n3 has walked up to him. It appears he wishes to play a game of chess. The two sit down and play. Green gets the first move...
roguesteelproject sits in the Closet, having discovered the Pile of Items that sits in there. The Piece of Paper looks interesting...
The players in the Hallway wonder what's inside the Entrance. The_Serpent, however, appears to have turned his gaze to the outside view.
Everyone in the Entrance notices the large door's counter has risen to 6/6. Upon counting, everyone realizes there are exactly six players in the room. It appears that the door was counting how many players were in the room, and once a quota was reached, it would activate.
Sure enough, everyone hears massive clicking sounds, and the Door shudders. It appears it is ready to be opened... I would advise you all to tread with caution, however.
Down in the Basement, the scattered players prepare themselves for whatever lies beneath. They realize their task should be to progress upwards, but for whatever reason they have all decided they will gaze downwards instead. Nimbleguy appears to be operating at peak preformance.
The new players who traveled to the Basement all suffer 6 fall damage. _______________________________________________________________________________________

Appears to be a Remington 870 (with Horizon Event slugs), Circuit Breaker, Pistol (It turns out to be a FN Five-seveN), Backpack (allows extra equip slots), and Pork Chops. Grab 15 "Gun Magazines." Assuming they're going to remain ambiguously named "magazines," I can load them into anything that accepts magazines. (Clips lack feed-mechanisms.)
==> Grab foodstuffs and captchalogue cards
raid pantry and fridge (in kitchen), grab a cooked chicken and 10 captchalogue cards.
==> Loan out Overkill Minirail and Carnage In A Cylinder to anyone who doesn't have any alchemies on them in exchange for trust and alliance. "Follow me!"
Alright...forge...hmm...well, maybe if I check the furnace...there'll be something? If there're rooms down here, there's probably a way up. Now, why would Scratch need a forge...?
if there is an anvil in there somewhere, I use my diamond pick to put it in my inventory.
...unless this 'isn't Minecraft.'

May I say Scratch, that you are not an excellent host? (And if you punish me for that you're just proving my point)
First I scratched the wallpaper to annoy you. Then you said the wallpaper was protecting the wall so I tore some out with my pick.
I head back into the library and tie one end of the rope around the leg of the empty green chest. I toss my armor down the hole and then toss the other end of the rope down. I climb down the rope and put my armor back on. (Armor is heavy)

ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Strife!

ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Victorious
Win a Strife.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Descend
Enter the Basement.
You examine the SAFE and button-mash it.
This does nothing whatsoever.
Exhausted, you sit down on a chair and check your inventory.
DIMENTIOSOME INVENTORY:
Diamond Sword / Diamond Pickaxe / Torch x128 / Iron Helmet / Iron Chestplate / Iron Leggings / Iron Boots / Crafting Table / Furnace / Enchanting Table / Chest x2
It appears that you only have base items at this time.

However,
very recently, sources reported seeing Monolithium on a Minecraft server.
There are no visible doors here.
Green Door "opened."
You are now in the ENTRANCE.
The only drapes are in the HALLWAY, and you aren't in there.
Your second action goes through regardless.
You fall down into the Basement.
The only un-entered accessible room is the ENTRANCE. You head back through the LIBRARY and the HALLWAY and go to said room.
You go through the ENTRANCE. You have now.
The Large Door's counter rises to 3/6.
You search through the PILE OF ITEMS in the CLOSET.
You find these items:
Slip of Paper (Crumpled)
Magic 8 Ball
Record Disc
Telescope
Apple Juice Jug
I will not condone such unreasonable behavoir as not doing anything. If you do that, I may be forced to ban you...
THE_IDEA_MODPACK_MOD_MAN INVENTORY:
-1 Enchanting Table
-1 Crafting Table
You fall through the GAPING HOLE and prepare to enter the BASEMENT.
Ah. You used your pick to scratch out the WALLPAPER, not the actual WALL itself. My mistake.
You cut down all the DRAPES in the HALLWAY and use them to create a ROPE.
TALIST INVENTORY:
+1 Rope
Talist has already acquired all of the Drapes.
You move into the ENTRANCE.
The counter on the Large Door moves to 4/6.
There are no enemies around to shoot.
...
AMPERZ4ND INVENTORY:
-1 Antiparticle Beam Cannon
Indeed.
Which room?
You equip your full set of IRON ARMOR, THE VOID OF HEAT, and BROKEN URANIUM'S UMBRAGE. Tsk. I don't appreciate broken swords much. Perhaps there's a way you can restore it.
It appears Nimbleguy's power supplies have nearly depleted, and that is what is causing his various malfunctions.
Piono equips his DIAMOND SWORD. He places down 5 Torches.
PIONO(PLAYER) INVENTORY:
-5 Torches (x123)
A staircase has not been discovered in any rooms so far. However, there is one room that has not been explored, and that is the one that lies behind the door in the ENTRANCE. So, you head there.
There is no possible way to acquire Water or Potions at this time.
You equip your WAR ARMOR and THE MERCURIAN MALADY.
The Large Door's counter rises to 5/6.
You know, IMPOLITENESS, SATURATION, and HUNGER aren't real stats that will be kept track of and accounted for.
You walk into the HALLWAY.
You finish making some HOT TEA.
LEONSTAR0 INVENTORY:
+1 Tea Cup
THELORDERELYE INVENTORY:
+1 Tea Cup
You enter the ENTRANCE.
The Large Door's counter rises to 6/6.
You attempt to open the SAFE, but to no avail. You'll need to find the right sequence of numbers...
You equip your IRON ARMOR and the DIAMOND SWORD.
You enter the FORGE.
I did notice this anomaly after I finished updating. Since it would be unnecessarily cruel for me to deny you a level-up when you scored hits, I will give you one:
LEVEL UP!
Level 2: Maniac Novice
You equip your GOLD STAR.
You sit down at the CHESS TABLE.
I don't see why it can't go through. However, you'll need to have a machine akin to the Alchemiter do the process for you. That will be focused on in a few turns, if things progress as they are now.
The only door in the HALLWAY is the one that leads to the ENTRANCE.
You check your inventory.
5L1N65H07 INVENTORY:
Diamond Sword / Diamond Pickaxe / Torch x128 / Iron Helmet / Iron Chestplate / Iron Leggings / Iron Boots / Crafting Table / Furnace / Enchanting Table / Chest x2 / XMD Gun / Lambda-Sigma Gun
You equip your IRON ARMOR. I'm unsure what the output of chest and straps would be.
You retrieve 2 COOKED PORKCHOPS from the OVEN.
You fail.
You and Robo-K4yne go into the HALLWAY.

This door is bigger and sturdier than the other doors you've come through, but not as big as the one in the Library. There is no sign above it.
However, where its lock should be is a counter that currently reads 2/6.
There is nothing you can take that can be stored in your inventory.
pionoplayer levels up as well.
LEVEL UP!
Level 2: Play Well
You look over the guardrails and determine you cannot.

I am aware. Sadly, it appears I am under more or less the same time constraints that TwinBuilder was. I will try to accomplish your Antilog after I have finished updating.

INVENTORY
Diamond Sword / Diamond Pickaxe / Torch x128 / Pork Chops x2 / Cooked Chicken x1 / Crafting Table / Furnace / Enchanting Table / Chest x1 / Overkill Minirail - For Loan / Carnage In A Cylinder - For Loan / Mana's Secret Weapon / Fried Eggs / The Circuit Breaker / The Horizon Event / Tick Tock / Ze Ubercharger / Shattered Souls / Metal Storm / The Crismon Vortex / Batter Up
EQUIPPED
Iron Helmet / Iron Chestplate / Iron Leggings / Iron Boots
(product of chest and straps was backpack, hopefully expanding my inventory)
==> Equip MSW (Mana's Secret Weapon) Shotgun.
Some wars are pointless. This one's just for fun.

YOU ARE IN THE REPOSITORY NEXT TO TH SCARCED GROUNDS WHICH IS IN THE GAOING HOLE.
Ok. Well then... I inspect the room.
Well, lets see...
I enter the mind of Jebeddiah Kerman, then build a rocket that has a bracken drive so powerful that it can harness the bracken's powers enough to tear through space-time and enter this dimension, then the drive completely and utterly breaks beyond repair. The hole created is one way, from the KSP dimension to this, and any bracken drives or space-time technology passing though is instantly destroyed. 1/20. I will communicate through this remote.
OK?
I AM ENTERING JEBBEDIAH'S MIND NOW.
And I read chapter one of The Scratch.

==> I read the scroll. It's supposed to be a map, correct? I dump a handful of torches into Crismon Vortex's hopper and drop down through the hole, spraying the basement, also ensuring we can't be ambushed in the dark by being limited to placing torches in arms reach. If there were enemies in front of me...they're all on fire. I collect the excess if the rest of the area is clear [-15 torches]. Reveals all entities and objects of interest in the room.
==> Water happens to be important.
You grab a water bottle. Might need that later.
==> If there are enemies in the room, my shotgun roars at them for me, somehow propelling little balls of green plasma that go mini-nova and collapse into black holes. Sorta like C4, only infinitely worse.

Hmm... everything is pretty empty.
The Forge? That ring a bell?
Hey... wait a minute, isn't that where Dave got his sword fixed?
Yup, I'll bet that either there's a spare alchemiter in there, or there'll be a clue as to how to get our alchemization back.
Alrighty then, we're going in there.
I stay equipped with my current tools, piono switches out to the Void of Heat, just in case of rogue denizens. I however, think that enough people are heading to the forge, I instead investigate the Repository, piono heads in to help out in case anything vicious is in there.
