To start us off, Joe moves over to C43 and stores an action. His eye color also randomly changes to the proper blue due to me realizing a slight problem with the player rig I use.

"... WHAT? DY SO HUH NOW?"

Lawrence moves to 55J and fires at 69G. It's at a range of 14.9 meters, so...

70% base, *1.25 from dex, = 87.5% hit chance, which... actually misses. Again. I rolled a 96 for it.

X = 2.45
Y = 4.55
Z = 5.37

Well, because Norbert is so big, it's still in his path. Then he builds some qwwwwwaaaaaaartz.

Orothec activates cheese! Which takes him off Death's Door. Then he moves to G67, builds some dirt, and... jumps onto Norbert. ... Sure. If Gail can share a space with other people, you can share a space with Norbert.

"GRAH! CURSE MY LIMITED MOVE POOL AS I CANNOT TARGET SOMETHING ADJACENT TO ME!"

Orothec then stabs Norbert a bit. So...

75% base, +25% from DEX, +50% from Reflex = 150%, so +20% crit chance, so all three attacks land, and one mini-crits. However, because your passive doesn't work on bosses, I'll give it bonus damage.

22 base, -2 from AC (as one minicrit bypassed AC), +3 from mini-crit = 23 damage

Enerald reads a poem. It's a rousing tale of how you should not stand in the fire, but oh well. He then shoots downwards, and the shot misses. Is it clear yet that I don't bother rolling accuracy with these? He heals himself for 3 HP and Joe for 6.

Paydaar then stabs Zomble D, which is a bit of a shame considering that's the Zomble Orothec recruited. Though, Orothec didn't command it... so... oh well I guess.

100% base (using the Arah Blade), -10% from reflex, +20% from Dex = 110% hit chance

Needless to say, it kills the Zomble.

Gail moves out of the death area and behind the sponge.

“What are- for- ... ... I can where Winter wh-...”

As Norbert's turn starts, we get the eruption triggering, dealing 10 damage to Enerald and Mei.

Now, Norbert's turn starts. And... uh... technically we have no grabbing rules, so I guess Orothec can't actually hold onto Norbert? Norbert moves 10 blocks forward, leaving your friends Orothec behind and walks through the dirt and into the inferno ball area, triggering it and taking 17 damage. Really, Orothec is lucky we have no grabbing mechanics because if we did, he would have gotten sploded.

Norbert gets really close and up in yo' face before targeting the Shiny Thing with Elemental Lances.

"IT WILL FALL!"

The first attack lands, dealing 13 damage. So now all the Scatter rolls.

X = 2.77
Y = 1.68
Z = 8.43

X = -8.35
Y = -5.92
Z = -1.61

X = -6.66 (oh dear)
Y = -2.42
Z = 2.67

X = 7.95
Y = -2.65
Z = 4.45

X = 9.86
Y = 5.71
Z = -7.85

Of these, one additional shot hits, dealing 10 damage to the thing. Everything else misses everything.

Then, Norbert shoots two fireballs directly at Paydaar and Chloe.

X = 1.29
Y = 9.52
Z = -8.07

X = -7.49
Y = 5.76
Z = 9.81

One of these shots hits them both, dealing 11 damage to Paydaar and 8 to Chloe. The other... hits the Shiny Thing.

SHINY THING DESTROYED!

"HAH! I WIN! THE SHINY THING IS DEAD! ..."

He stops and glances around for a moment.

"Uh... what now?"

Incomplete One C attacks Orothec in melee, though the attack gets rerolled into a miss.

The other Incomplete One moves up a little and shoots at Enerald and Joebob, landing the hit and dealing 2 and 3 damage, respectively.

Creep Beep I runs past Mei and headbutts her, setting her on Death's Door again.

Finally, the other Creep Beep tries to kill Enerald and Joebob with a sulfer blast.

X = 5.19
Y = 8.38
Z = 3.63

And it accomplishes nothing but breaking wood.

No more enemies spawn, mostly because I went nearly insane trying to keep track of them all last time. So... no. Although, maybe I'll get faster at updating as I realize what works and what doesn't. You might be able to kill Norbert this turn...

"W- WHAT?"

Regen happens, and... oh my Arceus, Mei survives having the DoT. She had a 20% survival chance and I rolled a 9.

now, I can't seem to find myself... again...
so I'll assume I can get pretty close to norbert?
EDIT: o. i guess I move to 53-G then, or closer if possible.
I store 50 EP in the wand, then [if bellow 35 non-wand EP] use the surge of cheese (+ 30 EP and stuff mode) and move closer to norbert, then [regardless] use scatter shot on them. that should do it.

So after an unfortunate chain of events involving the annoyance known as reality, it's time to finish this.

Mei switches to Frozen Earth, moves... somewhere where there's the clearest line of sight to Norbert, somewhere on the (35) row. She then attempts to fling an Earthen Spike at Norbert.

If Norbert is alive, Orothec moves th G65 and stabs him. Otherwise, Orothec moves to F73 and stabs the Incomplete One.

Joebob moves to G53. Or, he tries to. He only has 6 SPD, and thus is unable to get there. He walks over the ruins of the shiny thing and moves to G50. He then stores 50 EP in his wand, gets 30 more, a- ... oh. Duh. The Surge of Cheese grants more movement. So Joe does make it to G53. In fact, he gets to G54 and shoots a ScatterShot at Norbert. Though, ScatterShot doesn't work very well on a single target. It's at a range of 5.6 blocks.

75% base, +35% from dex, -10% from range = 100%.

So... time to roll a bunch of scatter shots. Due to the direction this is going in, the X scatter doesn't matter.

Y = 7.48
Z = -82.27

Y = 71.03
Z = -75.54

Y = 10.48
Z = 66.43

Y = -63.50
Z = -10.90

None of the scatter shots hit. Though, for the main hit...

10 base, +1 from DEX, +11 from stored EP, +6 from stored actions, -1 from AC = 27 damage.

He's got 24 HP left.

Paydaar moves over to L45.

Mei moves up, ignoring all the mobs around her, and tries to hit Norbert with an Earthen Spike. 60% base, *0.6 from cover = 36% hit chance, which misses.

X = -2.42
Y = -2.10
Z = -4.77

Actually, it threads the needle and hits Norbert anyway, dealing 11 base, -1 from AC, *1.25 from weakness = 12. However, it can't raise the ground below Norbert because he's standing on unbreakable blocks.

Emerald heals himself, restoring 9 HP due to the Death's Door debuff.

And... That's the end of player turns, but Norbert still has 12 HP. Let's see how many of you I can kill in one enemy turn, why don't we?

"BEHOLD... THE TRUE POWER OF NEFARIAN NORBERT!"

And by that, I mean he no longer has any main castle to walk towards. So, he walks 5 north and 1 east before clawing at both Joe and Chloe.

As Joe has 0 reflex, it hits him for 16 damage. It also lands the 70% hit chance on Chloe, dealing 19 damage.

Now that Joe is right next to Norbert, Norbert also blasts him with Elemental Lances. And... because he's so close, he gets hit with literally every beam, taking... oh boy.

11 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 9 + 9 - 12 from AC = 47 damage, which puts him on Death's Door. IT also inflicts dazed, chilled, chilled, dazed, dazed, and chilled. You are not going to be moving anywhere very fast.

Incomplete One C, in order to not miss, shoots a dissassemble directly down into the ground, dealing 7 damage to Orothec and 4 damage to itself, setting Orothec on Death's Door.

Incomplete One G moves 6 spaces forward and shoots the block three spaces in front of it with a dissassemble, and missing. But scatter will mean it will hit its mark.

X = -3.34
Y = -1.37
Z = -1.23

And it does. The resulting explosion... DOESN'T KILL MEI. She had a 20% survival chance and I rolled a freaking 6. Mei is immortal.

The two Creep Beeps advance forward and attempt to shoot Emerald with explosions. The first one hits, dealing 8 damage.

The second one misses, going to Scatter.

X = -4.10
Y = -3.42
Z = 3.07

Gail rerolls the Z scatter into... -9.64. Arceus dang it. The one time I'm feeling really mean, you get such good sc... wait...

...

That means it hits Gail.

No joke. I didn't have Gail move, so that scatter roll made it miss Emerald and hit Gail, who was behind him, dealing 5 damage and setting her on Death's Door.

“Can before will us- will us! I sou- sorry Mikot- I for show TEN! ...”

How enlightening.

Anyway, that's the end of the turn, and... Mei survives again. She survives her own poison with a 10% survival chance. I rolled an 8. ... Joe takes bleeding damage, and... he dies. Wat. He had a 75% survival chance! ... Well, life just isn't very fair, I suppose. I rolled an 82.

Or at least...

That's what would have happened.

12, +12, +10, +4 = 38 damage.

That's how much damage Orothec dealt in his attack, thus...

Killing Norbert.

The blade sinks down into Norbert, hitting hard bone. Norbert throws his head back and lets out a bellowing roar so mighty, it would scare the stars into conselations. The sound echoes throughout the battlefield, shaking loose splinters and bits of stone from the fortress. Eventually, mercifully, it stops, and Norbert slumps over.

Victory.

What I do like is how the battlefield naturally evolves over time.

I plan to write up an epilogue later. Though, you can attack the other mobs if you wish. If I'm going to continue something like this, I really need to make it easier for myself. There were only 5 posts on average, and it still took me so long to update. I would like to know what people thought of all this. I still don't exactly know myself. I feel like I simply tried to do too much. It's not actually that it's too complicated. I understand how the game works, but it's just that it's too difficult to run the stupid thing. I overestimated my computational ability.

Would people be interested in seeing more of this? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe I'll try to make something completely different with Blender.

I store 20 more EP in the wand, and get up, raising the wand in an arc and sending waves of spikes/bolts of energy which rise from the ground at each remaining enemy [that is. using discharge], sending an extra set at the incomplete one in the direction norbert was in
if there is a greater then 2% chance of scatter causing any of these attacks to hit gail for some reason, move me as necessary to reduce that chance. too bad i don't have a healing ability.
