Joebob moves up and AVADA KADABRAs the Creep Beep at a range of 18.4 blocks. So...

75% base, *1.35 from dex = over 100 percent. So, it deals 10 + 3 from stored action, +1 from DEX = 14 damage.

Lawrence tries to give the Encryption Card to Gail, but he's not adjacent to Gail. So, Gail moves (almost) adjacent to him.

Gail's mostly incomprehensible at this point, but she seems to know what she's doing. Mei is allowed back into the world and heals one stack of Death's Door along with 18 HP.

Lawrence then moves back to where he already is, though I'm assuming you want to be on top rather than under, because you could only hit Norbert if you were on top. Anyway, Lawrence shoots at Norbert at a range of 27.59 meters. So, this is probably a sure hit.

65% base, +10% from charge, +20% from range, *1.25 from DEX = over 100%

12 base, +1 from DEX, +6 from charge, -1 from AC = 18 damage.

Redstone moves up a little and STRIKES DOWN Zomble F. Well, deals 15 damage to it anyway. ... I don't think this forces the Zomble to behold, as it didn't move into range.




That was fairly quick to go through.

The second bomb explodes, destroying most of the roof and Gail's lovely sniper post. Rip rop. Only a tiny bit of the roof survived due to the damage resistance terrain can get. It also deals 10 damage to the Shiny Thing, though I suspect I didn't make the Shiny Thing important enough.

Norbert doesn't really have anything good to do, so he plants another bomb at the top of the roof just to completely destroy it.

With his other action, he returns fire on Lawrence with Elemental Lances. 80% hit chance at first, which misses.

Now for all the other shots.

Well, that sucked. Norbert achieved literally nothing. Didn't even hit any breakable blocks. Norbert is going to land next turn, so keep that in mind.

Incomplete One C moves around the side of the little fort and shoots a Disassemble into the Shiny Thing and hits one of the planks by its side and dealing a whooping 2 damage to it.

Zomble 1 whacks Orothec again, or at least tries to. It fails. Its Zomble friend also tries to hit him, and it would have hit, but Gail saved her reroll for this moment, so it doesn't. Regardless, both Zombles move forward.

The other Incomplete One starts work on defenses for the mobs, while the Creep Beep moves back a space and shoots at the staircase.

X = -7.88
Y = -9.74
Z = -7.76

With all these negative numbers, the Creep Beep proves it is completely ineffective. ... The enemies didn't even deal any damage this turn. To make up for the dwindling enemy numbers, a new Creep Beep appears in the distance. Enemies are going to keep spawning until Norbert is dead.




Mei is alive again, which means she can take more poison damage! Yayyyyyyyy

I yell at the guy who's on the roof to kick the egg/bomb away, he can make it as long as he has 8 or more move. I suggest also that he kicks the egg at an enemy. the yelling is because he's a decent distance away
while saying this, I idly flick a few hovering orbs of energy at creep beep H.

Okay. Update, here we go.

Joebob whirls around and levosaahs Creep Beep H.

75% base, +5% from range, *1.35 from DEX = over 100 percent. In fact, due to your DEX, you will auto hit any target that is more than 6 blocks away and not in cover. So, it deals 13 damage to the critter.

In order to help Lawrence actually preform his action, Gail builds two blocks for Lawrence to run over and jump off. Lawrence then kicks the egg off, and due to him being STRONK, it flies 13 blocks over and hits one of the Zombles in the head. Zomble F, to be specific.

Emerald wants to death things in the south, though there isn't really any proper line of sight. So...

65% base, +5% from range, *.6 from cover = 42% hit chance... which misses. Even after a reroll. Well, this will be fun. Let's see what dies.

X = 2.26
Y = -8.19
Z = -8.46

Er... well then. You 'accidentally' blast the Shiny Thing full force with a destructo beam, dealing...

16 base, +13 from INT, *1.2 from passive = 34

34 damage to it and breaking the last block on it. ... However, you do get a 5 EP prize for being the first person to ever break a block of stone or similarly strong material.

Paydaar changes his name to Redstone and charges in and attacks the Zomble, using a trample bonus.

75% base, +20% from dex, -10% from reflex = 85%, which hits. 12 base, +7 from trample, +4 from STR = 23 damage, which means the Zomble is almost dead. It also is standing on an explosive.



That's the end of the turn. Norbert's turn starts, and the explosive right on Zomble F explodes, dealing 12 damage to it and killing it. It also hits the other Zomble and Paydaar, dealing 8 damage to Paydaar and 10 to the Zomble.

Norbert lands on the other side of the battlefield, ready to advance again. His resistances also rotate, so now he resists Cold and Energy, and is weak to Fire and Nature.

"PERISH!"

Norbert shoots two fireballs at the Shiny Thing, though due to how Scatter works, they're going to hit something else.

X = 5.90
Y = -2.92
Z = -3.96

The shot hits Paydaar, dealing 10 Cold damage to him.

X = 8.35

... Well. Huh... This shot threaded the needle twice. It hits the stone Gail built and breaks another block. Gail is small enough to not get hit, though Emerald takes 12 damage, which sets him on Death's Door!

Norbert then uses Eruption, creating two lines of power along the ground. Don't stand on them.

Z = 5.62

Incomplete One C moves forward by 6 blocks and tries to hit Chloe with a Disassemble. 40% base, *.4 from high cover = 16%, which misses.

X = 2.73
Y = 0.83
Z = -4.71

The shot dissolves most of the staircase, leaving Chloe exposed.

Zomble D shuffles past Paydaay, whacking him along the way for 11 damage.

The Incomplete One on the other side completes its little structure and shoots at the Shiny Thing, and misses.

Y = -2.3
Z = -5.22

With each shot like this, you lose more and more cover.

Penultimately, the first Creep Beeps fire at your fortress, missing.

X = -3.53
Y = -6.58
Z = 3.68

The first deals 8 damage to the Shiny Thing, along with breaking down the roof completely.

The second Creep Beep advances and fires at Mei's cover, and misses too.

However, the shot hits anyway, destroying the cover and dealing 6 damage to Mei.

Well, time to start.

Joebob runs over to F44 and bandages Emerald, confused as to how he should wrap linin around a 2 dimensional figure. Luckily, he figures it out and heals for 8 HP. He can't activate the shiny thing though, as he is not adjacent to it.

So instead, Gail does what she's supposed to and activates it before hiding under it. Everybody gains 14 EP.

Emerald shoots the ground and misses. The projectile is now able to fly.

...

Wait a moment...

Uh...

For some reason, the passive of Frostbite has been deleted. Welp, I guess the weapon is mostly useless now. Nothing I can do about it. Other than replace the text, I suppose. Emerald restores 5 HP to himself and 6 HP to Joebob.

Paydaar memes for a little while and then moves to F61

100% base, +20% from dex, -10% from reflex = 110%, which lands, dealing a blow of 15 base, +4 from STR, +3 from Trample = 22 damage.

Orothec gets away from the dead Zomble and then stabs Zomble D

60% base, +25% from dex, -10% from reflex = 75%, which hits twice, and both hits mini-critting. So, it deals a total of 19 damage and kills the Zomble, getting yourself a super undead friend.

Lawrence moves to 58I and while technically you're on the eruption line, I'm not going to be that picky about it. He then builds some blocks (though eruption goes under blocks) and shoots his special skill at square G58. It's at a range of 21 meters, so...

70% base, -5% from scatter, +25% from Dex = 90%, which misses. ... But I feel bad about that, so I have Gail rerolls it into a hit.




"TRAITOR! YOU WILL BURN, ZOMBLE D! ... OR FREEZE. WHATEVER MY ELEMENT IS SET AT RIGHT NOW!"

First of all, the eruption triggers, dealing 10 damage to Chloe.

"I WONDER WHAT THIS ODD YELLOW BOX DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME IS. I WOULD LOVE TO WALK AROUND IT, BUT SADLY MY AI CANNOT COMPREHEND SUCH TASKS."

He takes a step forward and triggers the explosion, taking 17 damage.

"OH NO. WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED SUCH A PREDICTABLE TURN OF EVENTS?"

He then walks another 9 blocks forward and shoots a pair of fireballs forward.

X = -5.25
Y = -4.25
Z = 4.91

... Hm. You know, maybe all grouping up wasn't a good idea. The fireball hits the quartz pillar Lawrence made. Well, those blocks certainly kept Lawrence safe. The same can't be said for all his allies. It deals 11 damage to the Zomble and Orothec (setting him on Death's Door), and 9 damage to Paydaar. (Note: How I determine LoS for explosions is that I zoom right in on the epicenter and then look around. Anything I can see from this position is in LoS for the explosion.)

X = -8.65
Y = 2.09
Z = 7.13

The second shot goes a little too high and hits the back of the castle before blowing up and causing some minor property damage.

Then, because I misused eruption last time, Norbert uses it again. It should have been within a 1 meter radius of the line, not a 1 meter diameter.

Z = -1.06

Z = 3.74

Incomplete One C moves back a little and fires a Disassemble right into the group of 3 players. It has a 40% hit chance, and misses.

X = 1.02
Y = -4.11
Z = -5.56

The shot misses you guys luckily.

On the other side, all three of the creatures ignore Mei (because I don't like attacking characters who haven't acted) and bombard the fortress. So, time for a bunch of rolls.

The Incomplete One's shot lands and it rolls max damage for terrain damage, breaking everything and dealing 3 damage to Joe and Emerald.

Creep Beep H hits its shot as well, breaking all the wooden planks and dealing 7 damage to the Shiny Thing.

The final Creep Beep misses, which is what you'd expect from a 15% chance.

X = -1.71
Y = -9.08
Z = -3.66

The shot flies way too high and misses. Negative Y = going up.




If nobody can see it, did an updoot really happen?
