Lawrence walks forward and stabs the Spooder.
90% base, +30% from DEX, -25% from reflex = 95% hit chance, and I rolled a 94. So... close enough. It deals 11 damage, slaying the spooder ded. However, Lawrence doesn't quite have enough movement to get to the correct spot. A spooky spooky ghost talks to me. Hm. Orothec smacks the ice block, shattering it, freeing Mei, and erasing the legacy of that dead spooder. Then he moves over to N21. Paydaar breaks the one block in his face, which doesn't exist. I'm not sure what you wanted to do. Mei runs out and shoots at the other Eater of Code. ... I'm changing the target because I want the next action to deal as much damage as possible. Range = 3.34 blocks, so... 80% base, -150 from range = 0%. Hm. Max Scatter = 20. X = 15.42 Y = -8.76 Z = 12.64 However, the large target is hit anyway, which kills it. Emerald readies up and fires a frickin' laser beam out of his face for the price of 50 base, +15 from INT, *2 from overload, *.8 from passive = 104 MP. 65% base accuracy, +15% from range, -25% from dazed = 55%, which misses. Welp. Max Scatter = 12 * 0.85 * 1.25 = 12.75 X = 3.22 Y = 1.79 Z = 12.51 Luckily, the beam is so wide it hits. It automatically gets a minicrit, and has a 12.5% chance of a crit, which... actually lands. 16 base, +13 from INT, *2 from crit, *1.15 from passive = 66 damage beam of death. The streak blasts through the air, distorting the space around it and practically vaporizing the targeted Eater. After a moment, you hear a omnipotent crash that seemed to echo through every fiber of the world, coming from everywhere, yet nowhere at once. After this deafening crash, there was a deafening silence as everyone, friend and foe alike, glanced around to try and find the source of the noise. After a few seconds, a familiar voice broke the silence, seeming to come from directly behind Emerald. "Hm. You broke one of the cameras. That will be difficult to fix while fighting. I hope you didn\'t need that one much. And I\'ll try to give this poor thing its mercy.\n" The voice then vanishes, but not before leaving a message to Gail. "You are doing so well Gail. But don\'t worry about me too much. You gave me the ability to handle myself.\n" Then, silence. However, there's a... something leaking onto the battlefield. I wouldn't get too close to that thing or try to attack it... Eventually, people decide they should get back to the whole fighting thing. Gail takes her action and sprints over to the wooden structure. Enemy turn time. The... thing just sits there for now. You may want to get going before it decides to not sit there. Apart from that, there are only two enemies left. Skelebob E shoots the confused looking Paydaar, which hits, and then gets rerolled into a miss. Max Scatter = 6 “Winter's... still here.” X = 2.77 Y = 5.72 Z = 1.14 I need to increase Scatter, because these often still hit anyway. Some of these shots deal 10 damage to Paydaar. The spooder climbs across its little bridge and leaps at Paydaar, which has a 100% hit chance and deals 14 damage. Blocks vanish, and regen happens. Updoot starting. Though, you guys have pretty much killed every enemy around.
Emerald shoots straight down, which heals you for 6 HP. Though, you were probably more interested in the EP gain. Paydaar strikes out at the spooder with 75% base accuracy, +20% from dex, -25% from reflex = 70% hit chance, which lands and deals 10 base, +4 from STR = 14 damage. Lawrence grapples up to the top of the world and then jumps down to the chest, somehow opening it from above. ITEMS GET! +1 Encryption Card +1 Bandage +2 Short Poem +5 TNT (Can be placed like a normal block. However, when it is hit by a fire, energy, or light attack, it will explode in a 4 meter radius AOE attack. This attack deals 10-14 Fire damage with a 300% terrain mod. Yes, this will trigger chain reactions and blow up the entire world. Otherwise, has a durability of 1.) + A lot of quartz blocks (that will be used later) Orothec moves forward and stabs at the spooder for a 70% base, and dex and reflex cancel out. All three land, and inflict two mini crits to boot, which restores 4 EP to Orothec and Paydaar. It deals a total of 26 damage, which is exactly enough to kill the spooder. For our last two actions, Mei and Chloe each run forward. Gail climbs up the wooden structure and activates the command block. The results of this will be revealed at the end of this turn. ... Something hilarious just occurred to me. The final surviving Skelebob drops down to D15, taking some damage in the process, and then moves to F13 and uses BANG BANG BANG! Which... let me run some scatter rolls... X = 5.60 Y = -0.75 Z = -3.11 X = -2.26 Y = 3.11 Z = -5.65 X = -4.46 Y = 2.26 Z = -0.12 And honestly, none of the other scatter rolls matter because none of them would have missed. So... uhh... I think this is appropriate. Spoiler Alert Yep, Skelebob G gets a TRIPLE KILL by killing Orothec, Paydaar, and the newly turned Spooder H all in one action. ... Luckily, it doesn't really matter. Then, the Skelebob magically gets one additional move and jumps off the edge of the world. I don't want to slow things down by forcing you guys to spend a whole turn just killing one enemy. The... thing seems to stutter and shift through space and makes what I supposed I could describe as an attack. X = 348.29 Y = 40.01 Z = -238.69 It shoots a beam straight down through the ground next to it that shatters the blocks, disintegrating them past the point of being vapor. It then judders through the world, following an almost familiar path, leaving warped and distorted blocks behind it. Then, the thing fires another beam like blast at... something. X = 94.63 Y = -43.21 Z = -83668.07 The shot flies off into nowhere, luckily missing the overhead camera. It hangs around a little bit longer before disappearing because the battle is over. Finally, regen... doesn't happen because that's the end of the battle. Gail continues typing away on the command block until another structure generates. To be honest, I have no idea what this is supposed to represent in the computer. I just thought it would be cool mechanically. In the center of this structure is a pulsating blue block. Its presence feels... soothing. Which is good because... “There's... something terrible here. It's getting... getting closer.” How this works: We're going to try something different. You've been on the offensive, so let's put you on the defensive. Your goal is to protect the blue thing in the center from attacks coming from the north and south. You don't have to worry about anything from the west or east (because I don't want walls there so you can actually see inside the structure). This does count as a resting point, which means everybody heals to full HP and gets off Death's Door and all that good stuff. For your efforts, you all have gained 2 additional skill points, which you can spend now. Feel free to rework your character. Please note though, some things have been nerfed (namely, Ircucvci and the 16 STR bonus). If you had a build that used one of the nerfed items, you have gotten some compensation. Once you've done that, go about fortifying the structure. Everybody has gained 10 blocks of quartz they can place wherever they want. Feel free to also use the stuff in the group inventory or any dirt you have left over. You basically have infinite turns right now, which means you can move anywhere you want, regardless of distance. Also, due to the fact that I'm pushing Blender's rendering ability somehow, the cobblestone and mossy cobblestone that make up the ground cannot be broken. It's just that they look better than obsidian. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions or if you want additional views. I'm also considering letting you guys start the match at full EP to test that idea out. Does that seem like a good idea? Deals 17-22 Shadow/Light damage, +1 per 5 EP stored above 50 and +4 per action stored. anyway, JOE shifts, glows purple, and warps to 15-H, places 4 planks on the N side of the thing, then warps to 18-H and places 4 planks on the south side, then 2-quartz on the west side of the south wall to extend it and 2 on the east, before mirroring that on the other side. the last 2 quartz is kept for possible repairs JOE then decides to take advantage of a mistake before it gets patched. he warps to 5 A, fires a startrail north [0 EP stored. 0 EP cost, infinitely repetable =)]. repeats for 5B, 5C ,5D, 5E, 5F, etc through to from 5L. he then repetes this twice with a slightly higher angle each time. then i warp to 28A and repeat the process above. then i repeat all the above 7 times for good measure. This would normally cost me 576 turns to do, but hey, infinite turns right? now this probably won't work because its too stupidly OP [instant 20 damage on every enemy who joins, every turn? HahAHAHAHHA] but i hope i get something out of it. if the patch or fix allows for it, I do a 1-A sourced west star trail and a 32-A west starttrail. Mei moves to (F15). The top part. A blizzard rolls in; it's gotten absolutely freezing out here. Mei seems to be floating in midair slightly as the snow swirls around her. She's not gonna let the enemy off easy this time it seems.

I move one point from dex into strength and put both points into strength as well.
I also swap the grappling hook with a modified version on the fireball, that costs the same and can only be aimed at the ground, and loses all terrain mod, but causes a 3 X 3 area around the hit point to cause regular fireball damage to all entities that go into the area for 3 turns I also move to 16 F Originally posted on 2017-06-25 07:58:00 |

I remove the 2 points I put in HP and put all 4 points in SPT. And also move as many spaces as I can towards the thing we're supposed to protect. To 15 right on the wood, to best get Line of Sight
