I try to grab the aques scale if i can, and if I succeed in grabbing it, I make the following field effect: the current thing we have to do something to, will have, say, 25? 12.5?% of that thing happen each turn.
if I fail to use the scale then I spend my action healing the champions of the story.

Ye Olde Character Upgrade Shoppe - OUT OF BUSINESS
[Welcome to my character upgrades shop! It's a bit of a wierd concept because my stock is limited by how much damage I do. Because of that, the shop may sometimes be closed, so I can get some more Research.

Anytime you give me a charge, you get store credit equal to that amount (not retroactive), then can use that credit to buy stuff. I also might give store credit for other miscellaneous stuff.

Now for the interesting stuff!
Stock-

+1 maximum hp (if you have less than 25) = 50'000 Research = 6 store credit.

+1 maximum hp (if you have 25 or more) = 75'000 Research = 9 store credit.
Solid choice. Always nice to have more hp. You can't go past 27 maximum hp.

+5% dodge = 25'000 Research = 3 Store Credit.
Nice if you like not dying, but are also feeling lucky. Stacks additively with itself.

+5% Crit = 35'000 Research = 4 Store Credit.
Nice if you like not not killing your enemies, but are also feeling lucky. Stacks additively.

+1 Armor = 100'000 Research = 12 Store Credit.
yey armor. Stackable. Capped at 3 armor, generally.

1 HP Regen = 100'000 Research = 12 Store Credit.
Not stackable.

+Dog Armor = 50'000 Research = 6 Store Credit.
Reduces incoming Mark of Dog stacks by 1. Prevents Psi and Envoy marks from incrementing on their own. bark
