Mocha follows Java over to G11 and blesses her, using 4 Aura. She then spawns a Mirror Image at H12 and moves it over to J14 to give Morningstar a boost. Mocha smiles at Java for a moment before swiftly falling asleep. The bell around Mocha's neck begins to chime and a light pink glow forms around her as she mediates.

Contritum - Round 5

If there's one enemy of one faction left, should I just kill them off to save the bother of having to kill them? Might shave off a couple of the more boring turns that way.


BATTLE PROGRESS - Round 5. As you can see, the Defaced and the Abandoned are not very big fans of each other. Feel free to exploit that for all it's worth whenever you see an opportunity.

That'd speed things up, yeah. Only if it's like an enemy like "There is no way all of you could die to this one guy" though, elites or whatever should live.

Java grimaces at the shot, nodding her thanks to that drone or whatever, before concentrating her energy once more to fire a burst of weakening energy at that Repair Drone, casting Luxablight

Morningstar crushes the SWmech with his hammer again.

(Both Abandoned still have Halo debuffs. Also, I'd be fine with the routing thing.)

Chinook should have nine more MP from repeated activations of Adrenaline.

Chinook de-bunkers, moves to H12, and attacks the SWmech with bayonet.

Strix diagnoses EleSnip2 with dead.

Auth dashes over the rubble pile to F9. There, he targets Mocha with Curaga. Not much else for him to do right now.

D5 sprint to E11

Latte, an average sized wolfgirl with an extra set of gray wolf ears and a fluffy tail spawns at D5, wearing a creamy white hoodie and some black shorts. She howls before dashing over to E11 and scouting out the battlefield.

Contritum - Round 6

Hooray, actually starting an update at the time I wanted to start it for once instead of delaying for a while. Has everyone posted? Eheh, well, no. But if you haven't, and you turn up on time to intervene mid-dop, I'll see if I can slot you in. Given how close this battle is to being over, it probably won't be too much of an issue.


BATTLE PROGRESS - Round 6. Victory! A bunch of spoils of battle to take, too. And with the battle over and done with, perhaps it is now time to get around to the exploration phase? Who know what there is to find out there.

...A mysterious voice begins speaking from S.E.D's body. Weird.

??: I can help you have an idea of some locations near the landing pad.
??: Some distance south of here, there is an old machine factory. Perhaps you could find some use out of the parts there.
??: Some distance east of here, I and a small squadron of soldiers are... having some difficulty against the Defaced.
??: While additional aid would be helpful, feel free to establish a more secure foothold here, or acquire more resources, before helping us should you believe it necessary.

Java flexes her fist, grinning as her quality becomes... sharper. A little clearer quality. +1 SPC got. She then casually switches her free skill slot to an Underarmour with 15% Chopping resist. With that done, she quickly bounces over to Mocha, tackling her and wrapping her arms around the catgirl's neck for a hug "Howdy! Didn't realize you were coming along with me, but it's good to see you well after that.~ Don't know about you but I'm going to go help out those guys over to the east, want to help?"

Chinook checks out the vending machine.

'Splodimus decides to head East, ahead of everyone else.

He increases his INT.

Morningstar shines a light from his hammer into the Fog of War in the southeast corner of the battlefield, and loots anything found within. Regardless of whether he finds anything or not, he then advances through the eastern exit of the Landing Pad.

Strix detaches his head, puts it on backwards, takes it off again, puts it back on the correct way, and moonwalks south.

After the battle, Mocha walks over to SED and tries to introduce herself.

"Hey, thanks for the help back there. My name's Mocha. Nice to meet ya~"

She smiles at the drone. She wonders if the drone can actually talk, or if it was just something speaking through it, but she doesn't seem to mind either way.

I'm gonna go find something to do so... talk to ya soon~"

Mocha turns just in time to see Java bounding towards her. She's barely able to keep her balance as she's embraced in one of the tackle hugs that she's become fond of. Mocha squeezes her fox girlfriend... wait. Mocha squeezes her foxgirl friend, breathing in her aura.

"Javie!~ ♡"

Mocha tilts her head slightly as Java mentions that she didn't realize Mocha was coming with her.

"Huh? Of course I'd come with you! I've gotta look after you, right?"

Mocha laughs, knowing that this couldn't be further from the truth; she's definitely the younger sister in this relationship.

"It's good to see you too! I've never besn in a fight before..."

Java mentions something about helping out some people, and Mocha seems to be excited by this.

"Yeah, sure thing! Just let me rest up for a bit and then I'll come with."

Mocha sits down on the rocks in the center places her skillpoint into MP. Her eyes begin to glow pink again, and her hair floats up slightly.

Time for the first noncombat update of the game. To start things off, let's go over skillpoint assignments. I'll list them here for the sake of clarity, both for myself and for those reading the post.

Java: +1 SPC, evaluating ambiguous comment... assuming changing "A Skillpoint" to "Underarmor (chopping resist)".

Java went over to Mocha and talked with her. There's not much I can do with this, aside from note the fact and maybe find a place to put the pair together on the map. I'll sort that soon enough.

Chinook has decided to investigate the vending machine. It is indeed a vending machine, albeit one that has clearly gone through some awful experiences during its time. It still seems to work, thankfully. Upon interacting with the vending machine, it powers on for the first time in what has clearly been a while, then a cracked screen flickers to life. There's a few fairly neat things on offer. Mostly things that would be recognized from the inventory.

Splodimus has traveled East. Loading terrain... To the east, there lies an old broken road. Time has worn away at this path, although in its abandoned state, it has not had many travelers. There's quite a few interesting things around - a watchtower with a crashed Repair Drone on it, a building that looks like it used to be a nice place to stay, a small lake with a pier. Perhaps not quite what one was expecting? But nice enough. There's also a sleeping Defaced nearby that probably needs getting rid of.

Morningstar has investigated the fog of war in the southeast corner of the landing pad (battleground). There, he made a neat discovery - a chest of items, old and very dusty, but with contents that still hold value. +50x Credits gained. +2x Armor Plate Kit gained. +1x SSoGRHSO gained. Processing looted items... After that search, Morningstar explored East, alongside Splodimus.

Strix did something weird with his head, then explored South. Loading terrain... To the south of the landing pad, one can identify a great factory. It seems to not be on right now, although maybe with some effort, it could be re-purposed to suit new needs under new masters? Of course, Strix alone might not quite be up to the task, especially with all those Abandoned roaming around the area. Strix might or might not be thankful for the bits of wall that stopped him from being spotted.

Mocha talked with S.E.D. While the drone appears to understand english or english equivalent, it doesn't seem to be able to speak anything understandable on its own. Still, the drone seems to have made a few happy beeps, so yay? She then talked with Java, and does some flavortext stuff for the skillpoint assignment.

Chinook heads to the old road then south.

Strix yeets away into the Old Road, then bonks the Carrier with his weapon but he's used the weapon active that makes it more damage-y aaaaaand the Carrier's dead.

Morningstar climbs the Watchtower and takes the damaged drone. It might be repairable, once some materials are found. He also takes the fishing rod. He then continues east.

"So! Lets go ahead and head out then, shall we?" Java grins at Mocha, briefly entwining her hand with Mocha's before releasing her and springing off to the east, skipping right past the watchtower after a simple brief glance, heading off further to the east with the robopaladin or whatever his dealio was.
