Difficulty: Story

Alright folks, we have located a Mafia hideout filled with stolen loot. We're here to take that loot from the Mafia. It's a pretty sizeable chunk, there's multiple bags of gold, money, and jewelry. You can just blow up the vault and take a bit, or take it all. Either way, there's loads of security, but not to many bodies in the premises. I wouldn't expect this to be too easy, however. Backup will come, the Mafia knows when their allies are in danger.

For some reason or other, there's a big-ass droid with an LMG hanging around. Probably on L4, assuming that's a spawn tile. Or elsewhere. Dunno. What I do know is that this droid is very obviously not made for stealth in the slightest.

Blue Hanssen arrives at G4 and quietly cocks his assault rifle. He sits and wonders about how his life will go since he signed up with Starlight.

Taking note of the explosives to be primed, Blue quickly covers his ear facing the explosion as best as he can. Hearing damage is probably a real occupational hazard, with gunfire and all.

Upon hearing the walls explode, Blue equips his M320 Grenade Launcher and steps over to I6.

He blasts the middle of the Poker table (M10) with his Grenade Launcher, wrecking it horribly and blowing away the three gangsters playing at it.

Blue then steps back to G5 and reloads his the M320. He'll be safe behind cover while his tankier teammates move in- he doesn't want to get caught out in the open, even with his armor.

Jeez, those might be his first murders... he'll have to think about that later, though. For now there are too many guns that are going to be pointed his way.

There's a rather loud thudding noise as the drone rumbles forward on both feet, pretty much moving at the pace of a leisurely stroll into the room. Once it reaches L8 (probably sidestepping around the corner of a zone of control if that's a thing here), there's a pause, then it turns to face the Mafia fellow at M8.

"HI. BYE."

There's a loud boom, and then a bunch of shotgun boolit is put right into the face of the Mafia fellow at M8.

Blue realizes that his teammates are wearing lighter armor than him and that he should probably take point. He takes a quick breath and equips his HK416.

He sprints over to K11, right next to where his grenade blast landed. His three previous targets are surprisingly intact, despite taking a grenade blast.

He hoists his rifle at the Mafia at N13 and fires a single shot at their center of mass.

Blue then moves over to M15 and he orders the hoodlum to surrender their weapon.
"Put your gun down, now!"
Admittedly, having to shout unnerves Blue, since making noise was a problem for much of his life. He heard the line from a cop on his home planet, and it seemed to work in that case- Blue tries mimicking the cop's voice as best as he can.

In either case, he moves over to O16 in his Retreat phase and looks at the vault, keeping his gun trained on the gangster if they're still alive. He motions to Wands to set up a drill on it, if he can.

Loner walks to (I13), silently remarks how killing these goons was almost too easy, and lines up a shot on the Mafia at (D10). He fires a burst from his Primary.

He then walks to (I17) and places his Sentry at (I16), taking from his SMG's ammo pool. If it can act straight away, it pings the Mafia at (O8) and (D10). It faces North regardless.

Loner slides to (H17).

Wands moves to M14. If the Mafia at N13 is still alive and successfully intimidated by Blue, Wands turns to it and produces a high-tech gadget in the shape of a Cable Tie with several flashing lights, and ties the hands of the Mafia. (Tie Mafia @N13, Bonus Action due to Bondage skill)

"Most wouldn't be this polite, but I'm a professional, and professionals have standards. Plus, you missed me, otherwise this might have gone down differently."

Wands produces a long, rod-shaped remote and fiddles with dials. The Cable Tie seperates from the Mafia's hands and snakes around him before wrapping around the victim's neck—tight enough to cause discomfort, but not injury.

"That being said, I'm also efficient, and you're able to fire a gun. Not able to aim first, obviously, but you don't have much competition nearby. So congrats, it looks like you're on our team now. I suggest you pick up your weapon and use this opportunity to keep your head attached to your body." (Convert hostage using Persuasion skill)

Wands moves to K17 and peeks around the corner into the Vault room.

"We've got company. Time to prove your loyalty to your new friends, or at least how much you value your life."

Seeing as nobody is tending to the guy hanging out at D9, and everything else is accounted for, the droid turns and stomps over to H8, then unloads a six-shot burst into the Mafia dude at D9. Since range of the LMG is 3-5, that means range 4 should be the optimalest range for hitting things with an LMG... right?
