<ROUND 317>

Hex talks to a few people. First, she asks Chi if she'd be able to pilot a Mechonis out into the current scuffle occurring at the house. Wait, does she actually know how to pilot a Mechonis?

CHI: Piloting a Mechonis is certainly within my ability.
CHI: I can't claim myself to be an expert pilot by any means, but I should be able to help out.
CHI: I'll see if I can get it ready.

Next, Hexagon shoves 1 Creation Meteorite and 1 Plasteel into the Mechonis lying at the Old Pass, easily fixing its landing gear. Actually, this raises the question; should Rosalind still be there? I'll need to wait on Tazz for a verdict on that. Ho hum. The power of the Creation Meteorite is also easily able to mend any other minor bumps and scrapes that the vessel may have suffered during its earlier crash.

Hexagon also orders perhaps the longest, craziest string of orders in the games. Pre-emptive "F" in the chat for whoever processes that. The game also fixes a few issues that happened during the House Siege. bonk bopl

Adria sighs. The Tabletopians are acting quite like the robots they create, aren't they? Cypress nods.

CYPRESS: Perhaps you're correct.
CYPRESS: Tabletopia is mechanized. Heavily so. Many tasks; automated. Machinery, drones, portals. All commonplace.
CYPRESS: Perfect automation. Ruthless efficiency. No questions. Just orders, performed. On, off field.
CYPRESS: Very unlike Chairians. Perhaps: technological matters? Magic; rather involved. Technically inefficient. However, creative, emotional. Very different situations. Very different soldiers.
CYPRESS: Union of two. Very important.

...A bit grim. Also, while she has a moment, Adria takes 4 Joltwire and 4 Arkalloy to the damaged Exosuit. Chloe runs over to help, and the two of them have it fully functional in a matter of minutes. And, thanks to a bit of strategic application of Arkalloy in key locations, the Exosuit gains +5 MHP.

CHLOE: We got some pretty nice information from its field testing!
CHLOE: Like, this thing has a few points of failure that should've been pretty obvious... but those are patched up now!
CHLOE: To the best of my ability, anyway.
CHLOE: Guess that's what we get for weaponizing a construction suit. The designers didn't need to worry about "projectiles' and "explosions" and all that.

Meanwhile, up in SPAAAACE (where the Awardoverse!Chaos is trying to sue Adria going to space before him), Mari investigates the ventilation. There's nothing in there save for a couple dozen potential jokes about being suspicious. Before those jokes can take hold of the narrative, Mari ever so quietly shuts the vent... and remains standing in front of it for another ten or so seconds.

MARI: so cool
MARI: so crisp
MARI: yes.

She snaps back to attention as Adria mentions that anything hostile in the vents (and presumably, the whole ship) would get ensnared by a couple dozen drones, and then immediately relocated into the uncaring void of space.

MARI: Oh. Good to know.
MARI: So... then, what could be the source of that smell?
MARI: Hold on. Gonna prep a bit further.

Mari equips a gas mask as Adria approaches the ship's terminals. Flipping through a few directories, the source of the scent is soon revealed- a room that's apparently being cleaned. Mari internally cringes. Was it the site of a game of Viscera Cleanup Detail gone... uh, exactly as planned? The left wing handles most things that Mari would consider essential for "living": bedrooms, kitchens, a lounge with television and vidya consoles, and what happened in the kitchen Adria what did you do-

MARI: W-What... did you even try to c-cook?
MARI: Or uh, w-what did the... thing try to make you cook?

MARI: Really, I'm... not entirely clear on what happened to you. I know there was this "crystal" thingy on your head, but... usually, a parasite doesn't try to kill its host, right?
MARI: Killing your host via garbage food consumption makes you a pretty gorilla parasite. Unless you can live without your host.
MARI: Like, most parasites usually don't do anything so... brazen, y'know?
MARI: Except in video games, and apparently right now.
MARI: Bleh. Don't even want to imagine what was cooked in there. I'm gonna assume there was a fine concentration of orange juice, milk, and toothpaste, all at once.

While the "nice" area is totally off limits for now (if one values their nose), there's still a good deal more spaceboat to explore. There's laboratories, stations to recharge drones, a garden, a break area... standard facilities in a space station, probably. Mari wouldn't know. All of Earth's space stations don't even have hydroponics or space lasers. It's kinda cringe, really. Mari's finger traces over the map...

MARI: Let's visit the... drone charging bays?
MARI: Yes. A romantic date to the robot charging stations. Wow.
MARI: But, really. I'm all about those tiny lil' buzzy mothergorillaers.
MARI: Like, I wish I could field more than three at a time, y'know?
MARI: Wonder what sort of things you're fielding up here? Servant drones? Deep-space fighter drones?
MARI: ...Clown drones?

MARI: Maybe after we can visit the labs. If you're fine with that, of course.
MARI: No idea what happened in there. Doesn't sound great, though.

Should Adria have no objections, they'll go and visit the drone charging bay. Hopefully there are no clown drones. That would mean the Honkmother is present on that space station, and she'd be forced to go and sabotage the generator which may or may not be powered by a black hole in this hypothetical timeline.

Auth asks Cypress a question. Could they forcefully enable the Tabletopian communications? Cypress shakes his head.

CYPRESS: Slight issue. Communications: on. Simply trained better. To not listen. To not retort.
CYPRESS: It's more training. Over their technology.
CYPRESS: However... might listen. Requirements: dire circumstances. Turn the tide. Might listen. That's allowed. If force fails.

It's... something, at least.

Star attempts to pick up a Grey Seeker. As they lay their hands on the Grey Seeker, a large tendril extends from its mouth. It impales into the ground as the rest of the Seeker's body unfolds, ensnaring around Star. They're promptly piledrived into the ground with... moderate force. They almost certainly could've gone harder, but... well, let's just be thankful they didn't.

The "Seeker" skips a short distance away from Star, bubbling into a more amorphous form. The jerk! Getting this "Seeker" to come with you might be a bit harder than expected.

<THE HOUSE BESIEGED (AGAIN), ROUND 3>
The moon is eclipsed by the arrival of some sort of space craft. Perhaps as large as the party's airship, if slightly smaller. It has to be a Tabletopian airship. But... something is ever so slightly off. For one, a Tabletopian warship of any kind wouldn't be so... inexplicably jagged. A Tabletopian craft would usually be the pinnacle of sleek, chrome-plated, geometric perfection. This is rather exactly the opposite. A crude, boxy ship made of thousands of plates of scrap metal. Far as anyone can tell, they've been scavenged from all over the place. Housing, fallen Chairian and Tabletopian craft, old mining sites... if it wasn't pinned down, it was put into this vessel.

As it draws near the house, the words "GESTALT" in red paint can be made out. The Scrap Metal Gestalt. The pride of the Tabletopian fleet. Or at least, the pride of the Tabletopian fleet currently operational and within the Thymefield. In the grand scheme of things, this barely qualifies as a valid aircraft. Four corner-mounted engines keep the craft aloft as a platform descends from the vessel from heavy-duty chains.

A potentially familiar face steps out into the fray, followed by two other curious looking Tabletopians. The "leader" of the group is a rather normal looking fellow, with a missile launcher just as tall as he is. But... wait, isn't this the guy that destroyed the farm? For the Tabletopians, he's also surprisingly chatty.

???: Hellooooooo, Spherebreakers!
???: It's great to see you guys again!

From his optical unit, a lens extends. With his little eye, he spies a halfbreed! Cypress. The rocket-launcher toting man waves to the unamused scientist.

???: Hey hey, Isaden! Long time no see? What's up?
CYPRESS: ...Ekedalen.
EKEDALEN: Yep. That's me!
EKEDALEN: So, uh... no hard feelings, okay?
EKEDALEN: Orders from the top. You know how it is.

Cypress slams his fist on a table that is nowhere near him.

CYPRESS: Come on, now. The rebellion: setup. From the beginning?
CYPRESS: All for this? To retrieve IKEA?
CYPRESS: The warlord himself? The Godmodder's aide?
CYPRESS: Unthinkable.

EKEDALEN: I mean, maaaaybeeee-
[/b][/font]

A robotic tentacle extends from the robes of another Tabletopian. Or can they even be considered a Tabletopian at this point? Their core is clearly visible, floating within a jar of some sort of fluid. The jar itself is floating as well. An LED screen mounted on the canister projects an unamused face with a red light.

EKEDALEN: ow
EKEDALEN: What was that for, Kallax?

KALLAX: Shut. It.
KALLAX: Cease these violations of protocol.
KALLAX: And do not say my name in such an expository manner.

EKEDALEN: Whaaaaat? I can't help it, though!
EKEDALEN: I'm excited! After blowing up their farm, I get to blow up their base, too?
EKEDALEN: Then, as the cherry on top, we get to save our king?
EKEDALEN: It's the ULTIMATE mission! Tell em', Nord.

He paps a behemoth of a Tabletopian on the back, prompting them to step off the Gestalt. The entire platform and vessel shakes as he steps off. He's easily fourteen feet tall, holding a full keg of what's likely some sort of liquor. A heavy duty straw with a diameter of around 10 centimeters extends from his helmet and enters the keg, draining it of fluid in record time. The keg is then thrown aside as an echoing burp leaves his maw.

NORDVIKEN: Totally, dude.
KALLAX: The both of you are insufferable.
KALLAX: Please, shut up. We are here on a mission.
KALLAX: Eliminate all threats between us and our king.
KALLAX: Do not communicate any further.

EKEDALEN: YOU CAN'T MAKE MEEEEEEEEE
NORDVIKEN: It is fine, Kallax. Introductions won't hurt anyone.

With a bit of Gaiamancy, he raises a small stage for himself, which he promptly steps up onto. He clears his throat.

NORDVIKEN: Hear, hear!
NORDVIKEN: We are the Special Operatives of Tabletopia.
NORDVIKEN: Ekedalen, Kallax, and myself, Nordviken.
NORDVIKEN: Though it is a battle you cannot hope to win, I wish you the best of luck in our honorable combat.

KALLAX: Unbelievable.
KALLAX: You will be reprimanded once we return to base.
KALLAX: But enough. Prepare for the extermination of this vermin.

EKEDALEN: Haha, yeah! Vermin blastin'!
EKEDALEN: Prepare yourselves!

The Tabletopian Special Operatives have appeared, as well as the Scrap Metal Gestalt!

Anyway, a few losses on the front- mostly turrets, but Kalis has also fallen to a Duelist. But with the presence of these new foes, your true victory condition has been revealed: defeat the Elites, and destroy the Scrap Metal Gestalt! Taking out those engines would be a good starting point- for such a large foe, the Gestalt is incredibly evasive! Of course, it'd also be prudent to take out their engines. Expect this thing to blast the house in an attempt to clear a path to IKEA. Good luck!

Battle

ADRIA: (so they have teleportation too... are we falling behind?)

ADRIA: Not necessarily on creativity. Manifested in a different form perhaps, but it takes a lot of creativity to piece together new tech.
ADRIA: And, coming from a mechanized city myself, this is... more than likely a cultural thing for them.

And of course right as she said that two loudmouths drop from a ship. She sighs.

ADRIA: ...Oooof course, there's always exceptions to the rule.
ADRIA: But... nevermind that for now. We should focus.

She glances at her armband briefly, showing a video feed to the outside. Probably another of her drones.

ADRIA: Visuals and preliminary data indicate a surprisingly agile ship. We should prioritize taking down the engines before moving to the main body.
ADRIA: The three who just dropped are also going to be a pain to deal with... especially the one with the jar head.
ADRIA: (goodness we really are falling behind...)
ADRIA: And the rest of the soldiers... well, they're not doing us any favors either. We absolutely need to thin them out.

ADRIA: ...This may require drastic measures.

ACTUAL ACTION

((note: do eris' post first))

Turn Order: Adria -> Daskter -> Destiny

Adria spends 375 credits on summoning the Fluxblood Gundam for herself.

ADRIA: Cypress? I just repaired the Exosuit I used against Spark's forces. If you believe you could use it effectively, I advise you to bring it in.
ADRIA: We'll need every bit of firepower we can get.

Adria spends 10 MP to activate Unload on the Fluxblood Gundam. As Wallhack from the Red Geo is active, Adria has free reign to fire on everything.

First, she fires the Traktor Cannon at (P25) on the first floor, catching Buzzlaunchers 1 and 2, Marauder 5, BORU 1, and Kallax in the radius. All of them are moved.
-Kallax to (P21)
-BORU1 to (O21)
-Buzz1 to (P20)
-Buzz2 to (Q22)
-Marauder5 to (P22)

Adria then spends the 1 point remaining to fire a Light Laser Turret round at Marauder7 on the first floor.

Adria herself uses Full Attention To Praise! again, expending another 10 MP. This grants her another +3 Buff Levels on top of her Enlightened14. She expends 2 Chronodust to Lengthen her Enlightened14 again.

Adria then targets (P20) on the First Floor with Watchful Eye for 13 MP. The 3x3 version specifically, which is unaffected by extending past her range of fire. This has the benefits of 11 Buff Levels thanks to Manafuel1.

She then watches the chaos ensue when Daskter and Destiny go.

---After Serpent's House RP---

For the Mirror!Reflector on the roof of the house, Hannah was nowhere even close. She's busy in other timelines and places at the moment.

And yet, her presence could be felt for them. As if they're standing right next to one another, watching over the battlefield from the rooftops, partners in crime that they are.

Suddenly, from the Mirror!Reflector's side, their shadow twists into a very familiar silhouette. Then quite literally detaches itself before its form aligns with the z-axis and becomes 3D. It swiftly turns itself upright and floats up to "Lilac"'s head level, piercing gold stare scanning the horizon before glancing at "Lilac".

HANNAH: 'Sup.

Could it really have been anyone else but Hannah? She quickly addresses the elephant in the room to "Lilac".

HANNAH: Psst, hey, if anyone asks, I've uh... been studying and practicing out of sight for a while now.
HANNAH: Long story.

She returns her gaze to the battlefield below and rolls her eyes. She inches her head closer to the megaphone.

HANNAH: I'm not sure if I should be insulted at your collective stupidity. I mean come on now.
HANNAH: You couldn't have waited another day for the Sphere to be broken before doing this?
HANNAH: Face it. You're wasting everyone's time. Yes, including your own.
HANNAH: Not that it matters anymore. You guys are probably all about as stubborn as rocks. You've started what you did and are going to stick to it.
HANNAH: I know your type well.
HANNAH: I have a few... plans for after you're all beaten.
HANNAH: Someone's gotta make the hard decisions, after all.

Shadow!Hannah pulls away from the megaphone and snickers.

HANNAH: The softies won't like it. But we can't let that little head live or be tied to the Chairians.
HANNAH: Better to have someone like me as the target rather than them.

Mari

Adria simultaneously shrugs and shudders at the thought of the cooking. And the fact that Mari asked what the hell that parasitic crystal was thinking.

ADRIA: I... I don't particularly know.
ADRIA: I-it... definitely wasn't natural.
ADRIA: Perhaps it... never needed a living host to begin with, as you suggested.
ADRIA: Hence why it seemingly d-didn't care if I died.
ADRIA: But... I-I do know it fed off the suffering. A-at least while I was alive.
ADRIA: I-it always tried to... drive itself d-deeper, as it supposedly fed.

She glances at the doorway to the dirty wing.

ADRIA: As for the food... w-well, half of it could be classed as a biohazard.
ADRIA: I-I'm normally not horrific at cooking, I swear!

That's a relief... kinda? Not the highest bar to set.

ADRIA: But the other half of the time... well...
ADRIA: The meals were so incredibly boring!
ADRIA: In case of emergencies, I-I have a paste dispenser in the kitchen. In case the food supply runs low or the like.
ADRIA: If you've seen any sort of sci-fi films, which you undoubtedly have...
ADRIA: ...L-like I said, it's only for emergencies. Anyone sane would rather eat anything else that doesn't outright kill your gut.
ADRIA: The other half of the time I ate out of that stockpile...

Adria winces just remembering it.

ADRIA: Eugh... at that point I don't know which of the two I'd rather be subjected to...

Adria doesn't dwell on it long, smiles, and gets up as Mari points out the drone bays.

ADRIA: Alright, sounds good.
ADRIA: Don't worry too much about that one lab by the way. That's all been reset since I last left.

>Can confirm.

Adria starts walking over to the right wing's doors, motioning for Mari to follow her.

The door to the right wing slides open with a soft yet satisfying mechanical sound, revealing a hallway of similar design to the central area. Only this hallway has more brightly-colored metal walls and floors. Still has the violet artificial lights running along them though.

Several similar looking doors line this particular hallway. As Adria leads Mari through the hallway, a blue hardlight screen appears in front of each door as they pass. While one side has darkened windows all along it, the other side has each of the labs. The hydroponics is first in line, then each of the three labs. Biological being closer to the hydroponics area makes sense. It's followed by the robotics lab, then the break room, then finally the temporal lab. Nothing seems out of the ordinary with that lab's sign, so it must be fine.

At the very end of the hallway, there's a cylindrical door where the elevator up to the drone bays resides. Considering the amount of drones outside, there's no shock that there's an entire floor dedicated to their upkeep. When the doors slide open, it's noted that the elevator has that hexagonal pattern Mari was talking about. Adria probably thought it fit the elevator aesthetic. Regardless, it's the same metal for the hexagonal plates and soft violet light flowing between their edges. The elevator itself also appears to have some quantum tomfoolery going on to keep it steady; it's not mechanically driven. It doesn't even dip as they step on it. Adria presses the button on the display incorporated into the elevator to go up. They still feel that classic elevator lurch as they rise, though.

Once they stop ascending and the doors open, the duo are greeted with an astonishingly massive drone bay. Drones flying up and out of the wing from the surprisingly much dimmer corridor than the rest of the ship. Several airlocks keep the drone bay pressurized for the one engineer that checks up on things, while also permitting free flow into and out of the wing for the drones. Of course, there's pathways for the drones to travel the ship's interior without clogging up the place.

A good number of drones aren't in their charging stations, as expected. They come in all shapes and sizes, including heavy combat drones and tiny nanomachine swarms. Notably, all of the drones are capable of flying.

ADRIA: Big place, huh?
ADRIA: The bigger drones are rarely used; only for special cases, like direct combat inside or outside the ship.
ADRIA: Most of them are reserved for maintenance tasks.
ADRIA: Most of the drones assigned to the station's interior use hardlight tools for their duties; despite the name, our hardlight can be as rigid or flexible as we like.
ADRIA: While the tools are fairly easy to break, the drones can just generate new tools and continue working.
ADRIA: For essential and exterior tasks, though, the drones use more conventional metallic tools. Can't have tools breaking in the middle of an important repair job.
ADRIA: Likewise, drones inside the ship use propellers and land travel if required; they act somewhat like spiders while scuttling around.
ADRIA: Outside, ion thrusters and electromagnets are used, since there's no air or gravity in space.
ADRIA: Other than that, they're pretty standard. All different types, from cleaning to combat.
ADRIA: It's all co-controlled by my AI partner, H-47.

A drone flies by. It has a display on its front showing two violet vertical lines, spaced a fair distance from one another, representing eyes. Despite not needing eyes, considering there's obviously a camera somewhere on the thing. The drones that are recharging show a lightning symbol on their displays, along with a battery icon showing how full it is.

ADRIA: Ah, yes. The reason they have faces when active.
ADRIA: ...It kinda just came to me one morning, and then I thought "huh, that'd be cute".
ADRIA: So I made it happen. I mean, why not, right?

Symphony Hall

Hannah visibly relaxes a bit. The Warlock is quite the friendly gal, definitely not what Hannah was expecting. She hops onto the chair across from The Warlock. She sheepishly grins at the Reflector comment.

HANNAH: Oh. Yeah that makes sense, haha.
HANNAH: Anyway yeah, I'm one of the people doing stuff on Sussui. It's been... wild.
HANNAH: Today especially.

The Warlock then introduces herself and asks what she could do for Hannah. The latter tilts her head, yet smiles all the same.

HANNAH: Hey, nice to meet you too!
HANNAH: Honestly, I didn't have much else to do, so I decided to pop in for a visit.
HANNAH: ...Didn't really have a plan coming in though, so uh...

Auth

Hannah suddenly feels a pit in her stomach, wincing as she does so.

HANNAH: That... t-that was a really good bluff, you gotta admit...

When she listens to Auth's explanation on immortality, the pit only grows deeper.

HANNAH: A-ah. I... I see...
HANNAH: (could... i have tried something else? could we have tried something else?)
HANNAH: (...ohhh, i don't know...)

She lowers her head, peering to the side. Definitely guilty of something. But, she remembers the thing Echoss said to her. She should probably tell Auth everything. He's a good choice, she thought. Auth wouldn't even hurt Spark, who had committed countless atrocities against life.

Hannah tries to relax as she responds to Auth's question: what brought this on in the first place?

HANNAH: ...I... think you deserve to know everything, then.
HANNAH: J-just, um... don't go telling everyone about it, w-without thinking. Please...?
HANNAH: W-well... other than me, Venia, Nia, Echoss, The Reflector, Destiny, Ette, Dorothy, and my mom. We... all already know.

She takes a deep breath. This wasn't gonna be easy in the slightest...

other stuff will fill out later maybe idk

BATTLES - HOUSE SIEGE

Star activates Vacuum Energy and flies to W17. They cast phase shift on Marauder 6, then use the rest of their (15!) MOV to fly back to U17. They Basic Attack SCU3 and switch to Gladius form afterwards, retreat to T14, and use Adria's symbiote to Stab it. If the SCU is still alive, they throw an Infinidagger at it; otherwise, they throw an Infinisyringe down a floor at Destiny.

Venia orders (Tazz gave permission in Discord, ping me if in doubt and I can find it for you): Venia backs up to H11, uses Kickstart My Heart for Ordo, and fires her basic attack at Mechonis2.

NPC orders:
- After Asha goes, if SCU5 is somehow still alive, the Sniper should shoot that. Otherwise, they should shoot Mechdruid3, or if they're also down, whatever target on either floor is weakest.
- Mari should create a drone and pass it to Marron.
- Cypress should summon/enter the Exosuit with the Hand of Death and Flight Thrusters modules and Meditate.
- Nana Meditates.
THE HOUSE - ROLEPLAY

As the Tabletopians' leaders arrive, a figure strides to the rooftop with a megaphone: a young Chairian woman in some sort of combat outfit. Hannah (and Chaos) would recognize this as one of the Reflector's 'mirrors,' which they used to infiltrate Outpost Unity.

"LILAC": Hello down there, Tabletopian friends!
"LILAC": You sure pulled a fast one on us rebels. Pretty cold, to lie to your friend and use our rebellion just to rescue your king's head!
"LILAC": But I've got a little message for you. The Chairian people have executed Spark for his crimes, and IKEA's just as bad in our books!
"LILAC": This isn't how the Spherebreakers wanted to do things, but you are trying to kill them now, so politeness is off the table.
"LILAC": So, if you keep on, keep on advancing, we might be forced to terminate him, if you know what I'm saying.
"LILAC": It doesn't have to come to that! We can still negotiate something, where none of us die horribly.
"LILAC": But if that's how you want to play?~

ZONE 1

Star retrieves the Cryotube from the inventory and attempts to capture the Grey Liar by swooping back and forth really fast with it. This is a lot less convenient or likely to work than just using the Grey Card, but Star has an ethical objection to that card.
ZONE 5.5

The Reflector takes the x5 upgraded Prototype: Azure Bomber and puts it in the Protoforge again to finish it. They select upgrade A for any remaining choices. This marks the third prototype weapon completed, and thus finishes Cypress's achievement.
SYMPHONY HALL

THE WARLOCK: huh arright
THE WARLOCK: so what brings u to sussui
THE WARLOCK: other than not wanting 2 die when 1/3 of reality blows up and shit
THE WARLOCK: and howd u and flecty bcome friends

The Warlock sips her beverage and raises an eyebrow, awaiting Hannah's side of the story with interest.

Kalis2 decides not to cast the spell they rolled. They move to I5, cast Pow Hammer as a bonus action with Magic Flux active on Reborn2, and then meditate.

Kalis1 calls for a healer. As they are dead, their chat message is invisible to anybody who isn't a Medium. Hopefully Auth counts as one.

Before Asha acts, Omorika moves into the doorway at H8, attacks Seer2, then uses the Warp Ring to teleport Seer1 to M7. Then, she retreats back to G9.

Asha changes to Slash Stance. She moves to D9, vents to Q12, and continues her movement to S11. Then, she activates Mirage Storm! Becoming a blur, she darts through the house (with Wallhack!).

Berg uses the sacred Royal Insurance/Eager Beaver combo tech to get to O19, and uses his special, Best Served Cold!

Bergilmir looks in genuine surprise, and then awe, as Marron absolutely obliterates MTU1.

cA: By Ymir! I knew you'd all grown while I'd been...

His eyes glaze over for moment.

cA: ...missing...

cA: ...But that was astounding! Very impressive!

cA: I am very interested in testing my mettle against you as you are now. If you would like a rematch, just say the word!

Bergilmir pauses, and then looks out over the battlefield, and the army currently besieging them.

cA: ...After we're finished here, of course. Was that too blunt? I can never tell.

He then looks over at Nordviken, and furrows his brow slightly.

cA: If you were not so obviously from this realm, I would say you were from mine. Tell me, where did you get your... inspiration?

cA: ...Not entirely accurate...

what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies.
does the lamppost just become magnetic
Yes. Yes it does.
also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it
so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one

Battle action first...

I was asked to revive Kalis1, wasn't I? Auth uses quickly floats back inside the house, onto R11, and revives Kalis onto Q12.

Auth sighs in obvious frustration to Cypress.

AUTH: How frustrating. I suppose it's a good thing, logistically speaking, that their soldiers are trained not to be broken by talking like we usually do...
AUTH: Even so. I would prefer not to fight. It feels like a failure on my part when combat encounters happen. Although I know that combat is truly unavoidable...
AUTH: It's not something I enjoy.

With Hannah, Auth frowns.

AUTH: I think... the first thing I should mention is that just about everything I said to Spark was bluster. I was hoping that we might demoralise him personally into refusing to continue to fight.
AUTH: I'm... personally quite upset about how it turned out. It doesn't feel... satisfying, I suppose? I wanted Spark to face justice properly. Not forced to be put down because he had been corrupted by the power he was serving. It doesn't sit right with me.
AUTH: But as for your actual question that you asked...

Auth thinks for a moment.

AUTH: Immortality is, in my experience, as much a curse as it is a boon. My... employer thought that such an ability would be of substantial use to me, and I would be inclined to agree with her on that. But it isn't something that's a good idea for everyone.
AUTH: My immortality, and I am aware of this, is to some extent a form of permanent stasis. Forward motion is... difficult. Extraordinarily so.
AUTH: The thing with an immortal, especially as you describe, is that physical pain doesn't work on them. Many of them are aware of that fact too.
AUTH: The people, the things around them, though... are points that would be more effective to work against them. If you cannot beat them physically, you must find other ways.
AUTH: Do my thoughts come across clearly? It's a difficult question to answer, I must admit. Why do you ask, if you don't mind my asking in return?

Auth would be lying if he said that he didn't have at least a minor concern that someone was planning to do something to him. He doesn't think it has something to do with him specifically, but without information one can never be absolutely certain.

Battle - The House

Lato observes the arrival of the Gestalt.

"Fascinating. A crudely-assembled conglomeration of various components. Perhaps that was all they could muster within the confines of the thymefield... Now let us see how long it takes to disassemble."

She punctuates that last remark by cocking her gun, while her doppelganger yanks a bolt on her own air rifle into a different position. That was almost definitely done just for cinematic purposes.

Now for the action proper.

Lato moves to M11, fires a sick trickshot through the wall at Mechonis1, transforms her weapon into the following template (Burst, Sniper, Cautious, Electric), then retreats to M10...

"Excuse me, other me. Kindly move aside."
"Moving into position."

Latwo selfcasts Overload to get to 165 SHP (remember those magic template buff levels?), drinks a Tornadopetal Remedy, and walks through the window to M15. She then eyes her target...

"Tabletopians. I have witnessed the many battles of the Spherebreakers. You will not prevail. That is a fact."

With that cold remark, she takes aim, then fires upon Engine1 and blows it to smithereens. She does not retreat, partially because she can't with her current template and partially so she can T-pose in the air, protected by an obnoxious amount of SHP and DR.

Remiel's Mechonis moves to V17. Remiel tosses a Tornado Bomb to Y14. The Mechonis moves to T24. Remiel basicattacks Engine3, hitting everything in Range 1 with Lonely Storm for two hits of half damage each, deleting some max stats and leeching a bunch of MP. This also benefits from half of the Mechonis's Focused intensity.

The Mechonis will use its Basic Attack attacking whichever engine in its range is closest to being destroyed.

Then, because It's Funny, at the end of the Spherebreaker turn Remiel spends all remaining MP casting Bag of Tricks as many times as possible, focusing on the nearest surviving engine (changing focus to the next one, if that one somehow is destroyed). This cannot go poorly.

Battle: The House

Irongutta looked the Gestalt over, making note of its ramshackle form. It was reminiscent of the airships he crewed and maintained in his warband before. What occupied the front of his mind, however, was how he's so lucky to encounter two airships that he has the opportunity to reduce to scrap (or at least reap the rewards of aforementioned destruction) in under 24 hours.

Irongutta moves to N19 and activates the Momentum Lock to continue charging over to P19. There, he makes use of its new 90 degree turn feature to move down to slam into Kallax, who should be at P21. He follows it up with a devastating basic attack!

<ROUND 318>

Mari and Adria. Space friendbirds. Adria explains to Mari just what the hell the parasitic crystal was thinking: she doesn't know. Oh. That complicates things for her considerably. She can theorize that it didn't need her to live, but perhaps... it fed off of her suffering. What kind of creature evolves to do that?

MARI: ...The hell?
MARI: Did you get jumped by a particularly quirky SCP or something?
MARI: Maybe it's some kind of bioweapon crystal parasite or something.
MARI: That's all I can really rationalize as to why a parasite would try to do that.
MARI: Suffering feasting... awesome, but no.

MARI: ...How does one even eat suffering?
MARI: If we could eat suffering, we could solve world hunger... and then immediately get into some weird cycle of suffering and not suffering and something something paradox.
MARI: Let's not question it.

Then, regarding the food... Adria swears she's not horrific at cooking! She doesn't mix pineapple, squid, and mushrooms together! Though, if worst comes to worst, she has the nutrient paste dispenser.

MARI: Aw. And here I was hoping that you could cook something nice for me later.
MARI: I'm not much of a chef myself. I can like, follow recipes well enough, but my actual skills are kinda bad.
MARI: I could probably get good at it though. If I can handle a wrench, a drill, and other highly dangerous tools, I can handle a knife.
MARI: ...In theory. My fingers say otherwise.

MARI: Also, you don't have like, those really cool sci-fi replimats, or whatever?
MARI: A shame. Still, nutrient paste is fine and good by me.
MARI: Like, it's a biiiit weird and chewy, but I've honestly had worse.
MARI: Maybe I'm just like... used to it, though. Pane has given me some nasty gorilla.
MARI: But I insist.
MARI: Nutrient paste is an acquired taste.
MARI: Especially gregpaste.

...Dare Adria question what gregpaste is? Nonetheless, the two travel to the drone charging bay, striding through violet-lit corridors. They ride a hexagonal-patterned elevator up through the station, arriving at a drone bay that spans an entire floor. In order to maintain such a large station, a drone bay of this size is hardly a surprise. To Mari though, the sheer size and scale is enough to make her drool, the sparkles practically visible in her eyes.

MARI: D-Did you make all of this?
MARI: T-This is amazing! I wanna just... tear it apart! I-In a nice way, of course!
MARI: Find out what makes it tick! What I can learn! How you manage the logistics of having so many goddamn floating bois!

Mari stops a drone as it travels, getting a good look at its systems. Hardlight tools, propellers, ion thrusters... so many little details and systems she's never considered. She can't help but give the thing a hug, perhaps to the drone's unamusement.

MARI: Hardlight tools! Never considered that! Mostly because I'm yet to get that down pat!
MARI: And while I personally think that having multiple forms of propulsion is a bit of unnecessary bulk, you've made it work magnificently!
MARI: Though, I guess you have the tools to make it work. As well as the circumstances. And the materials.
MARI: ...How'd you fund this place, anyway? Like, this is a big heckin' place for one person to pilot.
MARI: Didja steal it? 'Cause I'd steal this.
MARI: Not that I'm going to steal it from you, of course. The guns on these babies would probably perforate me before I even reached the cockpit.

Pap pap. Mari bops a railgun mounted on one of the drones. Shaped like a friend. And, as Adria shows off the displays the drones have, Mari can't help but squee at the sight of the drone's eyes.

MARI: Aaaah! This is so GOOD!
MARI: I wanna give my drones eyes! And hardlight tools!
MARI: And just like, all this cool stuff!
MARI: Hey, can we like... spend a bit of time upgrading my hardware here?
MARI: I'll make it worth your while! I'll like... help you make a prototype for a teleporting drone or something!

...Would this be enough for Mari to obtain a Tier 3 trait? If she's going to get a Tier 3 trait, this is certainly the room that'd be able to give her one. Also, it'd probably be a good idea to get Mari to stop squeezing the drones. Perhaps the cute screen-faces were a bad idea after all.

Lilac returns to the world! Chi shrieks as she warps into existence. She almost instinctively fires a barrage of rockets at her position, but fortunately she has enough self restraint to not.

CHI: W-Wait, that was YOU!? Lilac?
CHI: D-Do you know how much pain you caused me, specifically?
CHI: I mean, we're working together at the moment and I won't hold it against you, but cleaning up the mess caused at Outpost Unity was incredibly painful!
CHI: S-So much fire, a-and so many lost men...
CHI: Did you... need to blow the place up?

Then, Lilac takes some time out of her busy schedule of blowing up Rebel bases to chat with her friends, the Tabletopians. It's kinda cold to lie to their allies for the sole purpose of obtaining the ability to snatch their king's head, right?

EKEDALEN: I mean. Maybe?
EKEDALEN: What'd you expect, though? You're Chairians.
EKEDALEN: Should've expected it. Us two, working together with no strings attached?
EKEDALEN: Kinda naive, aren't you?

Also, the Chairian people have executed Spark. Ekedalen's jaw drops.

EKEDALEN: Wait wait wait, he's DEAD?
EKEDALEN: Aw, man! I wanted to kill him!
EKEDALEN: Imagine how cool it'd be if we strolled up to him with IKEA's head in hand, took his head, and placed IKEA's on his body!
EKEDALEN: That would've been SO COOL.

EKEDALEN: Also, so you know.
EKEDALEN: Lay a single gorillaing finger on my king's head and I will splatter you gorillas across the gorillaing walls, painting it a beautiful new shade of verdant.
EKEDALEN: It'll be gorillaing radical.
EKEDALEN: Buuuut... we all know a Chairian wouldn't have the nerve to do such a thing, right?
EKEDALEN: Why go through all the effort to put him inside a torture cage, only to kill him now?
EKEDALEN: I'm taking your bluff, and I am CALLING IT.

NORDVIKEN: Please, do not be goaded into harming our king by Ekedalen.
NORDVIKEN: As long as he is within your possession, we shall fight with honor.
NORDVIKEN: Kallax is ready to perform a saturation bombing of the area, but that would risk the death of our king.
NORDVIKEN: And I personally, would rather not do such a thing.

KALLAX: THEY WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT.
KALLAX: THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU TWO AREN'T MEANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE ENEMY.
KALLAX: IDIOTS.

Elsewhere, Star equips a Cryotube, and attempts to wrangle a Grey Liar! They sweep and swing it a bit like a claymore, but with the intention to ensnare the target rather than obliterate them. The cat with four legs plus two DLC normal-sized human legs dances around the area, easily avoiding the swipes of the cyrotube. To further their taunting of Star, they assume their ULTIMATE FORM!

The Liar promptly morphs into a Cryotube, messes up its freezing routine, and promptly ices itself. They don't appear to be very mobile anymore. At least being frozen in this game is totally harmless, assuming nobody happens to bonk you while you're frozen. Whew!

The Reflector also upgrades an Azure Bomber to maximum level. Cypress rather suddenly unleashes a burst of light from his position. Their trait levels up to Tier 3! A very good time.

Bergilmir has to ask. Where'd Nordviken get his inspiration? Hoisting a tank-sized axe over his back, his free hand strokes his leafy beard. Or well, it'd be leafy were it not a bunch of lifeless branches.

NORDVIKEN: Ah, that is quite simple!
NORDVIKEN: The people of the planet called "Earth" have this fascinating culture. Apparently, these powerful warlords named "vikings" rule the planet.
NORDVIKEN: Creatures known as "jotnar" walk the planet, and are among the mightiest beings there! I myself am likely stronger than them, but they are certainly something to behold!
NORDVIKEN: Earth is truly a silly planet. But they certainly know how to create some enthralling tales!

...He smiles, the one smile in a crowd of thirty or so neutral, emotionless faces. Then there's Kallax, who continues to be angry at these idiots who continue talking to the other idiots on the other side of the field. He swears internally.

Auth expresses his frustrations with the Tabletopians. But he wants to talk them to death. Cypress points to the newly arrived "special operatives".

CYPRESS: Beliefs: above rules.
CYPRESS: Possibility of talking? Distract them. Throw them off.
CYPRESS: What's usually done.
CYPRESS: Ekedalen. Rather hostile. But: can impress. Wowed easily.
CYPRESS: Kallax. Follows rules. Won't talk much. However, anger issues.
CYPRESS: Nordviken. Is a "bro". As they say. Actually poilte enough. Had drinks with. Once.

...It's time. Time to talk a man to death.

<THE HOUSE BESIEGED (AGAIN), ROUND 4>
Too lazy to write anything substantial here. A few allies have fallen, but it's nothing that one can't recover from. Just focus on tearing down the Gestalt and the remaining members of the Tabletopian Special Operatives!

Battle

ADRIA: M-Mari!

As Mari falls, Adria violently clenches her fist and grits her teeth, barely able to contain the seething rage of seeing her friend get so horrifically injured. Ironic, considering she's about to pop a cap in some poor idiot's head, who probably also has friends.

ADRIA: ...I-if it wasn't for this blasted Thymefield, I'd...

She stops herself. Maybe not here while everyone's listening.

Though, when Mari's eventually brought back by Auth, Adria manages to relax a little. She addresses Nordviken a floor below.

ADRIA: Nordviken, was it?
ADRIA: I... just want you to know that we hold nothing against you in particular for what's about to happen.
ADRIA: Simply put, I don't want my dear friends and family stuck here to be annihilated.
ADRIA: The others may or may not feel the same way, but...
ADRIA: I apologize in advance for me and my teammates.

ACTUAL ACTION

Adria goes first. Adria uses another 10 MP to engage Unload. She uses the ammo to fire Twin Railcannons at Engine 3, then Light Laser Turrets the Targeting Computer.

Adria Lengthens her Enlightened again for 2 Chronodust, wanting the power high for just a bit longer. She's starting to feel the onset of the worst hangover of her life though. She then steps off the Red Geo Panel to (O10), and pats the Mechonis in her suit.

ADRIA: Lovely piece of machinery you have here.
ADRIA: Shame you won't get to use it for anything anymore.

Adria casts Abyssal Vortex, having just enough MP to do it. This only targets the Machonis in the room with her. She also immediately uses Instant Suffocation on it for that oppressive Stasis for 2 rounds. She targets the Mounted Turrets with this.

Adria's Space Station

Adria sighs and shakes her head. The whole thing with the crystal's giving her a headache. or maybe the hangover's going cross-timeline

ADRIA: peck, I-I don't know, I'm left with more questions than answers...
ADRIA: I-it's all a mess of... just... stuff.
ADRIA: I'm... gonna need to write a lengthy report on all this and I don't like that...

Adria shudders. Mari would also probably shudder from what Adria considers "lengthy". The subject of Adria's cooking is brought up.

ADRIA: I mean, I can still make things like cake and cookies. They turn out pretty decent, though I'd be beaten out by pro bakers like Marron any day of the week.
ADRIA: Just... anything more complicated than that and then I just sorta... don't. And not even a detailed recipe could salvage something like that...

So nothing complicated. Easy enough to understand. Also, Nutrient Paste and Replimats. The paste is an acquired taste. Especially this "Gregpaste", which causes Adria to shiver on reflex.

ADRIA: (yep we are absolutely falling behind in that department)

ADRIA: Y-yeah. I... suppose it's a lot like how the bitterness of coffee is an acquired taste as well. Maybe.
ADRIA: Still, I'm.. not much of a fan of the stuff. Even before all this.

Mari then stands there in awe of the massive drone bay and the drones themselves. Adria can't help but feel a little proud of herself.

ADRIA: Mhm, I made all of it on my own time!
ADRIA: It... took a while, even with all the time dilation I had available to help.
ADRIA: My salary was also very generous; it's not actually all that difficult to land a job that pays well enough for a ship like Sophie's or a station like this one.
ADRIA: It also helps that materials are abundant enough to let this happen semi-regularly.

The drone Mari catches mid-flight doesn't seem all that annoyed. Only a little.

ADRIA: Also yes, what you've just described happening to you would've probably happened to me if I tried to steal something.
ADRIA: That, and stealing is just boring and unfulfilling. It feels way more satisfying to finally send a fully-built vessel designed and assembled by your own two hands (plus some outside help and a couple drones) out into the great beyond!

Adria's head turns to see Mari squeeing at the drones' lil' faces. Adria giggles, covering her mouth with her hand as she does so.

ADRIA: Sure thing, go crazy!
ADRIA: I've got plenty of spare components in storage, I'll send for some.
ADRIA: You can also use the Robotics lab if you want. It's got everything you might need, maybe more!

Adria glances at another passing drone and nods to it. It's a fair bit bigger than the one Mari got ahold of. It bobs up and down as a form of acknowledgement. It must've heard Adria's request. It flies into a hatch of sorts in the floor.

A few moments later, the drone ascends the elevator with a metal crate filled with a bunch of spare parts, attached with four cables; one for each corner. The drone is using the propeller and ion thrusters in tandem to help lift it off the ground. These things really are multi-purpose, huh.

The drone floats over to Mari and sets the box down next to her. It sticks around in case she wants to move to Robotics.

Symphony Hall

Hannah shrugs when questioned why she was on Sussui.

HANNAH: Pure accident. At least, as far as I know.
HANNAH: Me and a few other kids were running from my friend Sophia’s aunt, Adria.
HANNAH: She had a crystal lodged into her head which made her go kinda nuts, chasing us here. We got stuck in orbit when the Thymefield stopped our engines from working. Or something. I don't really know spaceships.
HANNAH: Adria’s fine now though thanks to some impromptu surgery from some of the other members.

When questioned about how she made friends with The Reflector, she opened her mouth as if about to go on a huge exposition dump, but resists the urge, closing her mouth to think for a sec.

HANNAH: Hmm…
HANNAH: The short answer is that we’ve done a ton of side stuff together not directly related to the main thing.
HANNAH: It kinda started with me butting into one of those side things, then helping Reflector with that on my own time.
HANNAH: Then we infiltrated a rebel base together. Save for a couple casualties, it went off without a problem.
HANNAH: We were doing it because some of our more recent allies were suspected to be a part of that rebellion, which we weren’t on friendly terms with since day 3.
HANNAH: It all worked out, though.

HANNAH: But what really sealed it was the assassination of a real peckneck of an “immortal” emperor from some nebulous far-off future.
HANNAH: We worked together to bring them down; they got started with a poison capable of removing someone from existence, we worked together after that to make a bioweapon which will not be expelled from a person’s body under any circumstances, and I mixed the two to form the bioweapon that went on to delete the emperor from existence.
HANNAH: This one was a little more… rocky, though.
HANNAH: ...Aaaand by rocky I mean traumatic. Particularly when one of our more terrifying less-than-stable party members from that same future found out. Her and I were on pretty poor terms as it was, but this made things just… ugh.
HANNAH: Throughout all that, Reflector helped me with the emotional stuff that came from it.
HANNAH: That’s also the point where I got a key to here.

HANNAH: So… yeah. That’s what happened, more or less.

Hannah idly rubs her mustache with her index finger. Y'know, considering her line of work, that 'stache is astonishingly well-kept.

HANNAH: ...Huh. Now that I think about it, I never asked Reflector why they're there too.
HANNAH: It's pretty hard not to just... assume someone's there for the obvious reality-saving reason.

She figures it might be private, but she may as well comment.

Battle

Hexagon takes a moment to observe his sheer destruction. He is quite proud.
.
But what if we were to go even further beyond?

He also takes a moment to read the dop eavesdrop on Auth and Cypress' conversation, hearing what they have to say about Ekedalen.

HEXAGON: YOU. TABLETOPIAN WITH THE MISSILES.

Hexagon twirls the Foamhammer/Foamgun/Weapon of Mass Destruction.

HEXAGON: YOU ARE A FAN OF MASS DESTRUCTION, ARE YOU NOT? I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THE ATTACKS THAT I AND MY ALLIES HAVE DELIVERED UPON YOUR AIRSHIP. THEY ARE OF QUITE SOME NOTE, I BELIEVE.
HEXAGON: IMPRESSIVE, YES? ONLY BUT A FEW MOMENTS ENGAGING US, AND YOUR ARMY HAS ALREADY BEEN NEAR CRIPPLED.
HEXAGON: AND IN JUST A FEW MOMENTS, I HAVE ESTIMATED THAT YOUR SITUATION WILL ONLY DETERIORATE FURTHER. I BELIEVE MS. NEEDLEWORKER IS ABOUT TO... WELL. YOU WILL SEE.
HEXAGON: SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.

Hexagon then casually strides forth out of the ruined house entrance, and injects Foam into Magnolia's being. It probably tickles.

HEXAGON: ORC. SENTIENT WEAPON, TOO. ENJOY THE BOOST. I WOULD POINT YOUR ATTENTION TOWARDS EITHER THAT PARTICULARLY HARDY INDIVIDUAL AT THE END OF THE FIELD, OR THOSE MISSILES.

Actions
Mexagon: [Act after Remiel Resurrection + Spawning of Thyme Vortexes] [Doubled MOV - 16 MOV] Starting turn at N15. [Movement Phase 1] Move to T23. Get Mantled by Remiel. Move to U23, V23, W23, X22 as Remiel acts.

[Movement Phase 2] Move to Q12. Use the Thyme Vortex to warp to Top Floor H10, continue movement and end on H9. Full Action Foam Marron. 10 MP: Ordo Marron with Power of Friendship. Remiel MP used. Power of Friendship is now Reloading!

Use Uncertainty Guarantee use to make sure that Movement Phase 2 becomes the real one, because seeker missile moment.

Hexagon: Walk to P18, Foam Irongutta, retreat to P16, chat to Magnolia, chat to Ekedalen about the impending Nuclear Needleworker.

Venia: Move before Marron accidentally smites the Thyme Vortexes with the force of a god. Thyme Vortex to O19, Unexisting Theorem (She Shines buffs), Purge South. Use remaining 100 SP to pop Phantasmal Force into the Gestalt once. If Purging gave enough SP to use it more, use it as many times as possible on the Gestalt.
As a note, Venia has Purger, and just Purged the Gestalt. I'm unsure if the Purger +40% damage applies to Phantasmal Force, but if it does she gets that boost.(if possible to use Degrading Reality, hit it's DGE once. Doubt it can though.)

NPC Orders
Nana: Move to K10. Activate Special on Marron, Venia, and Lato.

Marron

==> Engage RARE and DANGEROUS COMBAT OPERANDI: THREAD LIKE ROSES
- Contemplate how bad that pun is.
- Get buffed by Nana. Get Foam.
- Move through the Vortex to O16, get buffed by Kalis, move down to P17.
- Do all of the Bonus Actions listed in spoiler. Rapid Thorn hits the Cockpit.
- Fire both shots of the Threads of Fate downwards.
- Win.
- See diagram here of exact shots, should hopefully help with processing this action.
- ..apologies.
- Eat another Rosewater.

Marron Buffs

The linked diagram should hopefully help in making this more clear. It also has some rough damage calcs.

Crimson Eyes- WIDE LASER - +45% DMG
[Bonus Action] - 9 Metamight - +90% DMG - 10 CRT
[Bonus Action] - Enraged Sacrifice: -15 HP, +15 CRT, +20% DMG (36 HP)
[Bonus Action] - -10 HP - Bleed2 (not actually that great but she needs to drop down her HP a lot for reckless revenge) (26 HP)
[Bonus Action] - Rapid Thorn twice (really low damage, -5 HP, -10 HP) (11/51 HP)
[Bonus Action] - 9 Metamagic (Refund 15 MP from next spell - reckless revenge costs 10 MP)
- 40 HP missing
[Bonus Action] - Reckless Revenge with 7 Buff Levels gives extra +1% DMG per HP, Metamagic gives 9 Buff Levels
[Bonus Action] - +120% damage from reckless revenge
- Marron under half HP so she gets a extra 40%
- Empowered7 - 35%
- Ordo - 20%
- Fervent Emotion: +20% Basic Attack Damage

(Lucky12 is also a thing that exists, but is not accounted for on here.)

- 45% - 90% - 20% - 120% - 40% - 35% - 20% - 20% = +390% damage double shot wide laser.
- 10 CRT - 15 CRT = +25 CRT.

- FiNALLY, all 5 targeted tiles each get extra CRT and HIT from Sniper. First two hits get +40% HIT, +12 CRT. Farthest three hits get +50% HIT, +15 CRT. The diagram should make this slightly more clear.

..and finally, sorry for this entire calculation mess. I feel like we might've gone overkill by doing this every turn. But uh. Thanks for running such a fun game.

The House Always Wins.
After Rocketeer 2 is revived and given an action.

Daskter rushs to (T16) and uses Quick Terraform to add a Green Geo on (U23) and a Red Geo on (S15)
Daskter eats their Cookie.

The Revived Rocketeer 2 moves onto the Red Geo on (S15). They unleash an Eletrical Barrage against Ekedalen. This barrage also forces them to be on the Green Geo at (U23).
(Veterancy3+DaskterSpecial +Author Revive DMG Bonus)

The other Rocketeer follows up by going into the forest next to Daskter (U15). It's time to overclock. DOUBLE Barrages will be used to down Ekedalen; any spare hits will hit another random enemy.

BATTLES - THE HOUSE SIEGE

TURN ORDER (IMPORTANT):
Turn Order Baby
Star (up until they finish using Astral Birth)
Destiny
Adria
Sniper
Author
Remiel + Mexagon (due to mantling, these two will do lots of things together)
Hexagon
Nana
Kalis
Ignihorn
Irongutta
Omorika
Chloe
Chi
Lato + Latwo (featuring R8)
Bergilmir
Daskter
Venia
Marron
Star (rest of turn)
Cypress
Asha
Nidra
Everyone else (unordered NPCs at this point should help down remaining minibosses if they can reach, or else clean up enemies in the house)

In the name of serious shenanigans, Star moves to U13, uses Leyline Stride (the upgraded form of Backstage and Back Again) to teleport to K10, and uses the Wallhacking power of Red Geo to activate Astral Birth, placing thyme vortices at I11 (floor 2), O18 (floor 2), F9 (floor 1), and R12 (floor 1).
Next (13 MOV remaining), Star flies to I19 and uses Soaring Rush, flying to L19, stabbing the Gestalt with the Symbiote, continuing to M19, and basic attacking the Gestalt with Slashing damage. Finally, they use Infinidrop to add an Infinipizza to the temporary inventory.

NPC ORDERS:
Sniper: move to AC13 and mark the Gestalt. If line of sight doesn't allow for that... just idle, since your basic attack should be reloading.
Ignihorn: move through vortex to N18, fall to the ground, and then move to O21. Cast Call of the Horn on Irongutta.
Irongutta is not an NPC, but he should be the first person to get a crack at Nordviken to proc Opening Act.
Omorika: move through vortex to N18, fall, move to O22 and basic attack Nordviken, retreat to O23.
Chloe: move through vortex to O18 (since it is within range 1 of the vortex and you can fly), fly to O22 and basic attack Nordviken, retreat to
Chi: fly to M20 and shoot Nordviken.
Cypress: shoot the Gestalt (targeting the farthest tile of it to get maximum Sniper value). It is round 4, so his basic attack should have reloaded.

If Nordviken goes down before any of the Nordviken destroying squad gets to act, they should redirect their attacks to Ekedalen, the Gestalt, or if those are both too difficult, whatever enemies are near them.
ZONE 1

Star takes the frozen Grey Liar and deposits it into Droplet's mailbox.
SYMPHONY HALL

THE WARLOCK: whoa
THE WARLOCK: that's p crazy girl

Despite her words, the Warlock's expression does not seem terribly surprised by Hannah's story, although she does genuinely look interested.

THE WARLOCK: a poison that erases some1 from reality?
THE WARLOCK: maybe u did meet number 5 after all.
THE WARLOCK: tho not in the way i thought
THE WARLOCK: but i figured the 2 of u would get along.
THE WARLOCK: something about u i guess

Hannah then broaches the subject of why the Reflector came to Sussui. The Warlock laughs.

THE WARLOCK: hell if i know
THE WARLOCK: i don't give a lotta orders or missions out around here
THE WARLOCK: way 2 much work
THE WARLOCK: i'd tell you to ask the conductor but good luck finding him lmao
THE WARLOCK: but saving the goddamn multiverse is a pretty good reason 2 do anything imo
THE WARLOCK: hard to find time 4 ur hobbies w/o 1 of those.
