DCCCV hesitates for a moment before joining the fray. He moves to P13 and delivers a precise cut to Chairian Fighter 2, and retreats to P11. He then addresses the enemies.

”We have numerical superiority, I would advise you to surrender now."
"If I were a bandit, I would say, 'your money, or your hit points,' but I'm not. Instead, just run away."
"Seriously. Go. Shoo.”

To make sure that they know that he's serious about this, he casts Riposte.

I move to D13 and stay there, waiting for the enemy.

what if you have like 100 DGE and you're standing behind a lamppost
The lamppost takes the hit for you, and dies.
does the lamppost just become magnetic
Yes. Yes it does.
also, overkill damage to the thing won't harm the things hiding behind it
so being next to cover terrain can't ever really be worse then not standing next to one

Omjir joins and spawns in at K15.

Omjir
Omjir
The Wu Jian Council were an order of monks claimed by death in the Great Offscreen War. They were unsatisfied and quite a bit bored of the afterlife. Instead, they honed their combat abilities, mastering the powerful techniques of moving and punching people at the same time. They used these techniques to battle their way out of the afterlife and become gods. Omjir, a worshipper of the Council, was sent on a quest to prove his skill and join the ranks of the Council.
HP: 21 (Base 20 + 0 SP + 1 EQU)
MP: 30 (Base 30 + 0 SP + 0 from equipment)
STR: 6 (Base 0 + 1 SP + 5 from equipment)
AGI: 10 (Base 0 + 6 SP + 4 from equipment)
INT: 1 (Base 0 + 0 SP + 1 from equipment)
SKI: 7 (Base 0 + 3 SP + 4 from equipment)
DEF: 4 (Base 0 + 1 SP + 3 from equipment)
RES: 1 (Base 0 + 0 SP + 1 from equipment)
SPC: 7 (Base 0 + 4 SP + 3 from equipment)
MOV: 5 (Base 4 + 0 SP + 1 from equipment)

Equipment Bonuses:
HP Regen +1
MP Regen +1
CRT +1
HIT +3

Resistances:
30% Ice
20% Slashing
30% Dark
-30% Light

Trait: Blessing of the Wu Jian Council (1/3):
Permanent Skirmisher. Allows use of the "Whirlwind" passive martial technique (see below).
Martial techniques can be used multiple times in a turn, but using any technique will skip the action phase. Status effects that prevent attacking also prevent martial techniques.
Player cannot directly use damaging or self-movement spells.
(Modifiers: For every 5 SPC, you can use "Whirlwind" an additional time each turn against an enemy. At 10 SPC, Whirlwind inflicts two turns of Slow2.)
When you move between two tiles adjacent to an enemy, you have a 1 in (20-AGI) chance of performing a basic attack against that enemy. Can only successfully hit each enemy once per turn.

Weapon: Stick
Hat: Scouter (30% Ice Resist)
Armor: Tactical Vest (20% Slashing Resistance)
Trinket: Deal with the Dome

Spell: Serpent Lash (Custom Skill): 15MP. Prepare yourself to move at incredible hihg speed. Next turn, you will have +1 MOV, and your martial attacks can’t be dodged, blocked, or countered. Has a 3-turn cooldown.
Scales with: -1 Cooldown per 6 INT. +1 MOV per 8 INT. At 10 SPC, this skill becomes a free action.

Spell: Intimidation

Spell: Bag of Tricks

Special: Heaven on Earth (200 SP; Charges by dealing damage or killing (x10) with martial techniques)
Used at start of Movement phase. Fills splash2 centered around user with divine golden clouds, which block enemy LOS.
While in the clouds, the user's martial techniques have guaranteed hit, and can be used against each enemy an unlimited number of times.
Clouds last until the end of the turn.
Modifiers: +1 splash radius per 10 SPC. Clouds gain +1 turn duration per 15 SPC.

Other notes
I can make a diagram for Whirlwind if you want, just for simplification purposes.
I'm trying to make sure Whirlwind and Heaven on Earth aren't completely broken, so nerf them if necessary.
If I level up my trait, my plan is to add similar passive martial techniques instead of just making Whirlwind better.

Ziah spawns at K19. Attempting to impress his teammates, he flips his Tri-Chamber Revolver... and drops it on the floor. After shamefully picking his weapon up, Ziah moves to N16 and takes aim at Chairian Fighter 2 before pulling the trigger.

<ROUND THREE>
A few more people end up wandering onto the field- these three are Colors Full, Kongou, and Ziah! Welcome to Project Thymium! Unfortunately, I can't accept either JOE or Omjir at this time. JOE and I are still discussing things, and Omjir has the single most busted trait I've seen to date.

For starters, Permanent Skirmisher is a very powerful effect; so powerful that a trait containing just that would likely be too strong. The addition of something that'd let him perform basic attacks multiple times on several targets is absolutely broken, and would let him wipe armies without breaking a sweat. Add to the fact that he's getting better odds of doing this as he stacks AGI, and we get a very tidy package of DGE and team-wiping power.

...Also, this doesn't really factor into why I rejected the build, but don't we already have enough AGI-based builds already?

<THE BUNKER, ROUND THREE>
...The Chairian Cannoneer is struck down. With most of the squadron down, along with their leader, they Chairians are flung into a panic! The two still-standing Chairians run north, attempting to reach their exist. Still alive, the Cannoneer props himself up on one knee.

CHAIRIAN CANNONEER: W-We must hold! Don't give up-

He never completes his sentence, as a wave of death spills out of the forest, signaled by a ear-abusing screech. A single charred-black creature rips out of the dark woods, careening through the air. With a swift slash, the Chairian's neck is torn open, and they're left dead on the ground. Without a moment's hesitation, the creature begins to feast upon the corpse.

CHAIRIAN LANCER: ITI! QUICK, WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE THEY BLOCK THE EXIT!
CHAIRIAN LANCER: W-We need to get to the northern encampment! They'll be able to hold out!

They try their hardest to flee as those creatures- the ones he called the Iti, spill out of the woods in greater numbers. Some of them are small and dwarflike, yet still feral and savage. Some of them are taller and more slender, possessing more "feminine" figures made out of tiny fragments. And some of them appear to be malformed Chairians, a sick parody of their source.

This'll be a long day...

Anyway, your best bet is to utilize some Splash Damage on these things! If you don't have any Splash Damage... this might take a while. Fortunately, none of these foes are exceedingly tough... but some of them (mainly the Seekers) are capable of devouring corpses, which'll let them become stronger!

Toast stares at the two fallen in shock, "They're... d-dead? Th-this isn't what I wanted. Those were real people!"

She bangs her fist against the wall of the bunker, before turning her back to it, and sliding down into a sitting position. An emerald green flame manifests itself near her heart, which immediately flies up and behind her, over the wall. She doesn't seem to notice it, over the sound of her being existential.

The Cannoneer moves to J14, and fires at the Javlyn. This will probably kill the latter.

The Wall of Teeth sprints to H9.

The wisp of flame buries itself into the ground. Within seconds, a bright blue, seemingly-ethereal plant grows, covered in thorns. It grows and grows, continuing to do so until its about the height of an average human. Leg-like roots pull themselves out of the ground, and there (at F11) we have an Incantation summon.

The moment the Iti arrive on the scene, EN just glances around for a few seconds, then takes a look at the fact that one of those apparently just ate the cannoneer. A brief moment of silence for the unfortunate soul... and then it's time to get to work again. She proceeds to move to F7, then glance over at the chairian Lancer near her, the dude on E5.

"Uh, hey. Get over here and hide behind me if ya feel like not dying horribly. And could ya take that archer with ya? And do it NOW!?"

To cover the lancer's retreat, she fires off an earthy shot at Seeker 7. Granted, that probably doesn't cover very well, but it's something.

In the meantime, Calibri and Verdana seem to be just watching, as per usual, as well as discussing between themselves.

"Can you go and help them out?"
"No can do. There might be some still yet to reveal themselves, and I wouldn't forgive myself if one of them got you while I was busy."
"Ngh... I don't like this."
"Neither do I, but it's unavoidable."

DCCCV freezes for a split-second, before regaining his composure.

”Oh my.”
”Wait. Actually, I can handle this.”

After Moniker makes their move, DCCCV moves to N12 and slashes Seeker 3. If he takes Seeker 3 down, he follows through and strikes the Javlyn, and then retreats to O10. If he did not take Seeker 3 down, then he just retreats to O10.

Irongutta watches the Iti pour in from the trees around him. He winced a little at the sight of the cannoneer being ripped into, but that was merely a passing feeling.

"I ain't afraid of no itsies!"

Irongutta runs to C6 and uses his weapon's special, IT'S THAT TIME OF DAY. He began swinging the heavy ball part of the High Sun in circles around him like it was some kind of Zelda game. He "aimed" to hit all of the Iti around him. Once the High Sun was swinging fast enough, he changed his grip and threw the heavy end at Seeker 7 (Failing that, Seeker 4). Quite honestly, it seemed like he was almost having a good time.

Auth freezes. Not because the enemies are retreating, he seemed to be somewhat happy with that. But...

uA: Y-you! Damnable beasts!

Auth has something which can only be described as a Vietnam Flashback as he recalls his previous fights against the Iti.

uA: I should have foreseen that these things would arrive.

He flags down the surviving Chairians, after shifting over to G7.

uA: Hey! Don't run, you'll have a better chance of surviving if you stay with us and help fight. We can make sure you don't get horribly mangled...

Auth says, as black ink swirls around the Archer, saving them from their wounds. He uses Valiance, in other words.

uA: See? Help us here. I'm sure you don't want to die either, and the three of you won't last on your own.

30 HP [-5 points]
30 MP
1 STR [-1 point]
2 AGI [-2 points]
0 INT
0 SKI
0 DEF
0 RES
7 SPC [-7 points]
4 MOV
Trait: usually normal guy. special gets stronger, in some way (maybe passively fill up the special, maybe just give +SPC?) 000/the normal text colour
Custom weapon (changing a bit): leach shield
WEAPON SKILL: Leach energy. Deal (4-5) grass?/plant? Damage to a target, and then restore HP equal to the damage dealt. Applies Poison2 for two rounds. ( it sounds like it means apply that poison to the target? copied from gaping shield aside from the elemental stuff.)
7-7 crushing damage Range: 1Retreat: 0Counter: 2Hit: 4Stat Changes: +3 def +1 res. yes its just the gaping shield re-skinned, the gaping shield was superior to my previous one in almost every way.
Mana Squarelet
slashing 30% physical 10%
Sage Robes 40% crushing
so uh I don't feel like going back and looking for what the resistance types should be, so make any elemental resistances become fire resist.
Deal With The Dome
Terraform
Encapsulate
I heard people want me to take some revive thing so...
Encourage (modified)
instead of screaming "I will soul-kill you blah blah", you say "come on, your really special, we need your help"... and then if that doesn't work, you say "I WILL SOUL-KILL YOU" so loudly that they hear it in whatever deadperson realm they're in. costs 20 MP on downed players and 30 MP on dead players. also hurts your voice when you use it on dead players, whatever that means.

Special:
Trion Form.
Fills by: 1 SP per round, except while active. (Including out of battle)
SP Cost: ???
Enter Trion Form for 5 turns (<-- please have increase with SPC). Replace your HP and MP with Trion, which is equal to the sum of 75% of your MHP + 50% of your MMP. This acts as a combined HP / MP pool.
Replaces your weapon with a (12-12) Slashing Damage weapon, with 1-2 Range and 3 Retreat. Other stats (and the weapon skill) remain the same on the weapon.
Improves your current weapon however much would turn a mediocre normal weapon into 12-12 damage, and also improve range & retreat.
All damage you take is halved while in Trion Form. Gain stacks of Wounds equal to 50% of the damage you take, rounding down. You lose Trion equal to your wounds each turn. Reverse this process for healing.

Spells cost 50% of what they normally would, but cost Trion.

When Trion Form runs out, you get a % of HP and MP equal to what your % of Trion was. If you are downed / killed during Trion Form, instead lose Trion Form and live with 1 HP and 0 MP. [gain as fill condition at X SPC: if the battle ends while you are in trion form, get back SP based on percent of Trion you have multiplied by percent of turns remaining.]

I spawn in to G16 and move to B16 if this will allow me to finish off breaker 1, or spawn on j14, then move to J13

The Artist, still unnamed, is, angry? You think, it's face certainly doesn't look happy. It moves to space J6, slashing at the Gorged, before retreating . . . towards the Chairian Lancer 2?
"YOU!" Says the artist.
"Me?" Says the Chairian Lancer 2.
"You people are now our allies, you will help us NOW! Now help me prevent them from dying by stabbing the thing I just stabbed!"
"But. . ." The Chairian tries to argue, but is interrupted.
"Do you want your allies to dIE! No? THEN STAB THE FAT THINGY." The cleary mad artist yells, pointing towards the Gorged.
"But you killed our friends!" The Chairian argues, having a valid point.
"WE HAVE NECROMANCY, YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID, PLUS THESE THINGS JUST KILLED YOUR BOSS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, SO STAB THEM!!!" The artist argues back.
OOC: This is how one uses retreat right? I have two retreat, so could I move to where the Chairian Lancer 2 is?

Hat Kid recoils in shock and fear at the monster that just jumped in front of them and ate someone. Boshi also noticeably flinched, more at the surprise than anything.
"(Nope)"

After recovering, Hat Kid prepares a potion while Boshi runs to (O8). The potion done, Hat Kid tosses it up high into the air... to land on the Raider soon enough.
