Let's go. SANDSTORM!

Having linked to Sandstorm, I drink a sip of the beer, and then attack Mexador's core by spinning my arms at extreme speeds in order to create a razor windstorm.

The Fragment attacks the core.

Ultimate Armor: 85/120 (+1 from Solar) It will have a "special meter" of sorts. Me attacking things will fill it up by 1 for each attack, and once I've landed 3 attacks, I'll be able to unleash one of a few stronger ones. The armor itself gives me no attack boost, meaning I have to land, say, 5 or so regular, unboosted attacks. The special attacks won't count towards the meter.

Stand - Star Platinum: 8/50 Hint: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA! The HP of the Stand is shared with me. Any damage I take, it takes, and vice-versa. Consequently, every Stand I summon will have HP equal to the wound stage I'm at. For example, if I summon it when I'm at full HP, it will have 50,000/50,000 HP. If I summon it when I'm mortally wounded, it will have 10,000/50,000 HP. Make sense?

Next charge: It will be either "Caius the Shadow Monarch" or "Mobius the Frost Monarch."

Surprisingly enough, there actually is an answer to Solar's weird inquiry - a sort of voice in the air. "I'm right here. Though if you need anything besides advice, summoning me might be a better idea."

Solar briefly summons the Transistor and uses a large upwards swing on Mexador as this plays in the background.

The robot shudders at the sheer number of music tracks playing simultaneously. Well, it looks like a shudder. In actuality, it's the vibration warning that the robot is tuning out outside noise.

The robot fires at Mexador, hoping to get lucky. However, it doesn't expect this to do much, so after firing off a few shots, the following can be heard.

Talist flicks his hand to a horizontal position and conjures up a little candle flame of green fire above his palm, similar to the color Kai used. It starts slowly flickering between various colors and intensity.

"This is the same kind of fire Kai must have used. Well, same basic power, two totally different applications. It's essentially powered from a place called the Emerald Dream. I'm not using anything physical from my body for this fire. I can if I want to, but it's not necessary for the color. Plus..."

Talist claps his hands together, catching and extinguishing the fire.

"It doesn't effect me. But... as you tell, Kai burnt herself badly. However, Kai hasn't done much with this fire. Maybe she misused it? ... Like... confusing what she actually wanted the fire to be with how to get that fire? ... ... Or... ... no... hm... Kai didn't use all her stored power. She used more than she had. And the borrowed strength took interest. ... You might be interested in some of the story or lore behind what Kai did. But it's kinda long, and Kai knows more about it than I do. She would be able to tell you a little better than me. Apart from that, I guess... maybe we can help her burns? But it might be better for her to just sleep."

On hearing the name "Shadell", Talist turns to look at Kai curiously before saying to Spirit,

"Did she give her last name as Shadell? Huh? ... Oh, it's nothing. And before you ask, no, Shadell is not my last name. I'm not telling anyone my last name and it really doesn't matter."

Because that would be my last name.

"'Shadell' is more of... a title that some of the Companions have. Kai can have it. Just seems to say she's taking some more pride in her actions."

Now skip forward to where Kai is asleep.

As Neodyme kneels by Kai, she shuffles a little, but otherwise doesn't stir.

She was quickly falling deeper into sleep, but wasn't in any sort of dream state. Those don't happen right away. I'm leaving certain parts of this narrative up to other people, so I'll say right now that you can wake up Kai now for different exposition, but she might miss her sleep.

"So no copper? I suppose that explains it. The wiring in her paw was frayed. That might be somewhat difficult to repair. Hm..."

Talist then runs off back towards where Kai used Fragment of the Song, looks for one of the craters where the Godmodder's face had been, and snatches a loose rock from the area before heading back.

"I don't think there's much copper in this either. She literally burnt copper from her surroundings. And I suppose the copper in her body was the closest and most available. Didn't think copper would suddenly be so important."

Kai winces slightly at all the air horn noises, so Talist walks over to her, searching around in hammerspace for something.

"... Want you to get more sleep... Do I have anything? ... Ah, this will probably work. You'll look a little silly, but oh well."

Finding something, Talist takes out one of those noise canceling headsets that telephone operators sometimes use. He then whacks it a few times to get it to fit Kai better and puts it on her. While he's there, he says to Spirit,

"Um... listen... this might not be my place, and I don't think you want to hear this, but please don't... focus too much on appeasing one person, no matter who it is. Sorry, I've just seen some people go down a regrettable path from it. Granted, neither of those were in a romantic context, but it still applies."

Action: Let's try random songs and see what happens. How about... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMiuCDa0vq8 . That one. Cynder attacks the chest segment for 8k again because the universe seems to conspire to prevent her from using her special effectively. And I don't have time to type it. I use my minicrit that I somehow got and twenty large polka dotted, vacuum powered zeppelins to cause a chain reaction of explosions and damage the chest segment.

I walk to the House of Music, leaving Jon, since he didn't respond in time. When I do get there, I hear the music, and see the effects each song leaves behind. I chuckle.

This should be fun.

All of the music is overridden by a cacophony of noise that soon manifests itself into song.

Afraid of the dark? You should be.

In time with the beat, shadows flicker and manifest to attack random people, thrusting from the darkness as sharp spikes. However, one group is left completely untouched, presumably by the same force that had stopped me earlier. This aggravates me to no end. Returning to the battle, I attack Speed with a punch to the lower back, then walk towards h2o and punch him in the stomach, the aura magnifying the force.

As the music ends, the spikes retreat into the shadows, then rise up all at once for a final synchronized strike before disappearing for good.

A beautiful symphony, truly. Shall I play an encore?

Shadow directs the boomeranging projectile to Mexador, dealing 1300 damage to his Chest Segment and 1100 to him. Then, they prepare to dodge.

Walrus grabs a tire from his car, and hit the Godmodder with it. The Godmodder did not expect it and takes one damage.

GWing blows up the Chest Segment with an explosive Kanji, dealing 1400 damage. The Spider Dance effect from the House of Music traps Mexador, making him repeat his last attack and making him more vulnerable to attacks.

T-man lays down mines near the Godmodder.

Infinity takes a sip of the beer, raising his attack by 50% this turn. Infinity then attacks the chest segment with a razor windstorm, dealing 1700 minicritted to the segment. Then, the House of Music resonates with Sandstorm, dealing 1000 damage to the segment and memefying further attacks's House of Music effect into Sandstorm this turn.

Solar whacks Mexador with the Transistor, dealing 3200 mincrit damage to Mexador. Then, the House of Music deals 1000 damage to Mexador due to Sandstorm/Dankstorm.

Jindra fireballs Mexador for 2400 damage.

CJB rockets down Mexador for 2600 minicrit damage.

H 2 O spooks Mexador for 1800 damage. Then, Sandstorm deals 1000 damage to Mexador. Then, he spams the candies, healing the Fragment for 15000 and 10000 to Rose.

Talist attacks Mexador's chest segment for 1700 minicrit damage. The Sandstorm follows and deals 1000 damage to Mexador.

Chrome ate my post! Again! How do I turn that off? Anyway... Tabbune, isn't 3000 Speed's regular damage? He gets X2 from Overdrive, remember? Aww, I won't be able to use Wrath this turn. Well, in four-ish turns, Speed's gonna be bringing the pain. I have a checklist for the post and everything. It's mostly just find epic music, and let's all be perfectly honest, it's gonna be Hopes and Dreams/Save the World. Unless someone has a better idea.

Speed thinks to himself, before he unbinds the cobalt chains around his wrist from the moon. Speed then uses the Lunar Chains around his wrist on Mexador, grabbing his Chestpiece, or if that's a part of Multi-Armour, Mexador Himself, to attack him directly!

I ought to turn you into an irreparable and inoperable pile of scrap. But I need to leave something for everyone else. You are a destroyed robot walking, Mexador.

Speed flicks his wrists, and the Lunar Chains retract, dragging Speed towards Mexador. Speed ends up drop kicking Mexador. From a standing position, below Mexador. That has to be impressive.

I hope this hurts!

Speed flip kicks off Mexador, and slams into the ground. He staggers over to Talist, Rose, Kai, Cynder, The Party and anyone else around there.

Speed Says, before collapsing with a loud CHANG!, because Speed is still clad, head to toe, in heavy, white and gold Elementium armour. And his red cape. That's very important.

Speed, you fool. You overdid it.

Fira quickly runs over to Speed and replaces Speed's Inhinbitor Rings, allowing him to recover properly.

A sudden noise like that of microphone feedback fills the room, followed by a very loud voice echoing over the intercom.

”AHAHA-HA! WELL, HEEEE-LLO TV TROPES! IT’S YA BOY NOISEMASTER, COMING AT YA LIIIVE! No, seriously, y’all ready to make some noise?”

“Who’s that?”

"That is a potential ally. Hey Noisemaster! Can I get an audience!”

Just like that, a small, maybe foot-and-a-half tall figure appears in the air in front of Solar. This ridiculously neon-colored guy, well, it has to be Noisemaster, even though he’s rather small.

”Ayup, sure ya can! Though I am a busy busy man, friendo, so hurry up, time’s a wasting!”

”We’d like to make an alliance. And by an alliance, I mean it’d be great if you could blow someone up.”

He perks up. ”Oooh! Ya mean, like that fancy wannabe hero what’s been prancin’ around the pantheon blowing stuff up? ‘S my pleasure!”

“Well, that was easy,” Aecro notes.

”Aaaay, disembodied voice, don’t be such a skeptic! I’m a pretty chill guy now’n’then, yeah? Actually, tell ya what. Lemme give ya a hand with the next attack, aight?

The Disaster Master vanishes, and a few second later the feedback noise comes back, from, well, whatever the heck Noisemaster is broadcasting from.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ^note AND PEOPLE WITH OTHER GENDERS, I AIN’T JUDGIN’, PREPARE YOURSELVES AS I PRESENT TO YOU: CHAOS THEORY!"

And away we go. ^note This is loud and has at least one curse word. Headphones recommended.

So I should probably explain who my character is. It's a short male creature (race un-identified) wearing an incredibly non-descript T-shirt, but you can't see that since he's wearing a jacket as well. He's wearing trousers with an incredible amount of pockets. Each contain a small-ish pocket dimension where he keeps stuff. He's wearing a large hat that covers most of the top of his face. That's all I can say about him really.

Having linked to a "Power of 'NEO'" remix, I take two sips of the beer (heal and critboost will be applied), and I replicate the Lightning Spear's effect by sacrificing 14 charges of the Stacker Emblem. Target is Mexador's core.

I don't care if I die next turn, Death Is a Slap on the Wrist to me. But fragments of eldritch abominations, on the other hand, can't be so easily replaced.

The Sacred Spirit blinks, listening intently to Talist and Rose. S/he watches Talist generate the fire, and flinches when he mentions Kai misused it. On hearing him mentioning the options ahead of them in the course of healing Kai's burns and hearing the exposition, s/he tilts their head, clearing their throat to get their attention, so s/he can share their input, transmitted by eye contact.

'I would let her sleep. We can always get more information after she wakes up by herself. Besides, she might be a bit annoyed if you woke her up just for a story...and we can manage her burns, then, too.'

Fury nods.

"When I'm regulating the heat, here, I can say that the burns can be dealt with a bit later."

S/he blinks, and stifles a giggle at seeing Kai wearing a noise-cancelling headset.

'Just when I thought I'd seen it all...'

S/he blinks, and looks to Talist, sighing.

'Look, I'm a bit annoyed with hearing that, but I understand...I'll take your advice, and I'll try not to obsess too much...and, as to what you asked before, well...Kai and I have a lot in common.... We kept on complimenting each other, finding common ground, and protecting each other, until we fell in love...I think it first started way back when you first brought her in... Now, if you excuse me...'

S/he yawns, looking more tired.

'I think I'll be joining Kai in getting some rest...I need to restore some of my energy...you can take up some questions with the others, if you want...if they can't answer them, write them down, and I'll answer when I wake up...'

   "Alright, I'm back. How's Kai doing?"   

Meanwhile, Light teleports beside them, a faint smile on his face, and Arkus walks up, tilting his head, while Protoh looks up to the Guardian.

   "Woah, Guardian, you don't look too good...hold on, I have a lot of medical supplies."   

Action:

Protoh heals the Guardian, while the Party, the Guardian, and the Tarrasque prepare to dodge.

Shadow flinches, and looks worriedly to Speed.

   "Is he alright...?"   

Plus two to Talist, one to Speed.

The punch-out theme is probably one of my favorite video game songs out there, and this is a somewhat well-fitting version of it. In any case, this may seem like a stupid idea when the robot could just keep shooting Mexador with his gun from a safe distance. Well, for one, keeping its mute active requires a lot of processes, so the robot is having trouble focusing. A mute which it has now dropped, by the way. For two, doing the same thing two turns in a row would be boring.

The Informer almost gets it by Alpha's attack, but just... vanishes right before he's hit.

I take a healing potion out of my pocket and drink it. I then throw a radio down, which plays this. It suddenly starts raining CASH! Dollars and coins and other forms of currency rain from the sky onto Mexador. and if that doesn't work i die of sadness

Better start some charges because of that +2 Alpha gave me.

Since everybody is attacking Mexador, and I don't think I'm going to be lucky enough to hit the Godmodder two times in a row, I decide to run up to Mexador, jump on his back, and start choking him, as was done in the film from which the song originates.

Sorry about this, but I don't think I'll be able to post RP relevance today. As I normally do in these situations, my charges progress, and +1 to Spirit, Speed, and Infinity.

I also get out some ping pong paddles to play literal boss ping pong with Mexador. However, the ball is filled with food coloring, which is for some reason extremely deadly to robots.

Edit - I'll be honest, part of the reason I had Kai fall asleep now was because I knew I'd have tests coming, so I'd write less if she was asleep.
