'Yes, I know it was quick. That's how my mind works, I'm emotional, and I'm an Empath, so my emotions often get brought out without proper thought...I mean it, though...I really love you, and I will do everything I can to make sure you won't be hurt anymore.'

S/he hugs Kai again, then moves back to let Talist work.

'Oh...I'm the Sacred Spirit, actually...I prefer to go by Spirit, if my friends want to shorten my name. We talked before, when I showed you my powers, when the Mechanical Guardians were attacking. I can't speak, only vocalize a few noises, so I use my own kind of hand signs and body language to communicate. If I had a mouth, I'd be faintly smiling, I guess. Thank you for helping Kai..."

Shadow blinks.

   "Well, you're smaller than the usual Enderdragon, who I happened to think was usually the only one left in existence, besides her egg. I'd love to ask about your background, but there's a lot going on."   

Seeing Cynder pitch in to heal Kai, the Sacred Spirit sighs.

'Thank you for helping us tend to Kai...you're very kind.'

Shadow tilts his head.

   "Well, with your flyby in Alaxia, I've seen you fight. As long as you're on our side, I guess I'm okay with it."   

The Sacred Spirit cries tears of happiness when Kai gets to her feet, and thankfully takes in the healing spell, along with the rest of the Party. Shadow stands, and straightens his hat.

   "Right, here we are, and I don't think any of us need to be hit by that."   

He points at the sky, noticing the incoming Starstorm.

He rolls his shoulders.

   "Talking Tabbune down may not have worked the first time, but I think we should keep at it."   

He sends a message to everyone.

   'Hey, guys! Don't attack Tabbune and his friends, but block if he attacks you! Try to solve this nonviolently! Any veterans of the first war here with us, remember what he did for the war effort!"   

He tries to conjure an energy shield over the area, protecting at least the West, and Tabbune and his friends, and at most the entire map. He looks at Tabbune.

   "Tabbune, I still believe in you! Don't succumb to this Godmodder madness! Ira and Amaria are here, protecting you! They came because they want to help you! I want the same thing! In the last war, you were a force to be reckoned with. You were a hero. For all the times you fell under control, we helped you return to your normal self. Just earlier in this war, you became Glitched. We helped you then! I don't want to see old friends fighting each other! Please, I'm asking you as a friend, stop this!"   

He sends a message to the Announcer.

   'Hey, you said there was a magic tether, right? Can that be used to help Tabbune? Get back to me on that, and tell me if you get any more notes that you can decode! I don't want these three to die!"   

Action: Shadow shields the area, focusing on West and Tabbune's group, and reaches out to Tabbune.

Plus three to Talist.

Despite having at least a quarter of his face melted off, Musha continues to throttle Tabbune.

Soon, he hears the message to stop attacking Tabbune. Disgusted with their optimism, he closes the mental link connecting him with the others and continues his assault.

Mikazuki moves to attack the Godmodder.

"I'm going to stop you right here. If I don't, you'll hurt the family I found. Orga told me to kill you, so I will."

@Sacred: Oh yeah, I forgot to say this before. Even after you post, you can still /null post for either RP or telling me how stupid my actions are.

@Tabbune: ... ... *sniff* ... bu-but-but... I love making absurdly complicated entities. To me, making an entity that just attacks is rather dull. I actually try to make myself have less control over my entities. ... Okay, how about this: In order to simplify somewhat, make my entities less of damage powerhouses, and make them live long enough for their ultimates, I'll rework their HP, change their ultimate attacks into charge actions, and massively nerf their damage.

New HP system proposal:
I'll be describing this for the Grace Wolf, but it would also apply to Cynder. So rather than numeric values, she would take damage like a player, with normal -> wounded -> moderately wounded -> mortally wounded -> dead. When she "dies", she instead is incapacitated for X turns, where X is the number of times she has been incapacitated. So the first time, she gets stunned for 1 turn before returning at full health. Next time, she is stunned for 2 turns, then 3 turns, etc. After 5 times, the next one incapacitates her for good. Healing the Grace Wolf while she is incapacitated reduces the timer. In addition, a 30 post charge gives her an additional "life". Yes, this gives her about 400,000 HP (if 20,000 entity damage = 1 player damage). But, her damage is going to be slashed down.

So how does that sound? If that gets used, both the Grace Wolf and Cynder's damage/healing would get reduced to about 6,000 for normal attacks, and 15,000 for the specials. The ultimates deal the same amount of damage any charge attack of that length would deal. But, plus a little bit because I'd be sacrificing an entity's action for it.

@Gwing: Um... I don't think that turn order should determine damage...

Her legs still shaking, Kai digs her tensed claws into the dirt, like she was planting tent spikes down to keep herself from getting blown over. She seems to be trying to talk/think to Sacred. Or, Spirit. Or Sacred Spirit.

Ugh... I... I'm... well first... flattered. ... But I'm... really emotional too... ... I... I... That's probably why... I'm so terrified of telepathy. ... I move around Kai and lift her other leg to start bandaging that. IE, ACTION: I keep bandaging the Grace Wolf. This is going to either heal her by 3,000 or get her up to... moderately wounded?

"Okay, so Spirit, not Sacred. But if you can't speak, how can I still hear y- ... You know what, never mind. But why are you thanking me? If I didn't help Kai, I'd be a horrible person and not worthy of... Kai, do you even call me anything?"

Cynder keeps looking at Kai, responding to Shadow but not turning to look at him.

   Um... there's not... one enderdragon. There's an End, dragon, and kingdom for each Minecraft world. But a lot of them have... ... yea, died. Technically, my title is "Princess", but that sounds so pretentious. It just kills me. Also, that title gives me absolutely no legal power here or... anywhere else for that matter.   

((Note: The "Multiple Ends" thing is true, as sayeth the Word of Go- er, Twin Builder, the GM of DTG 2. However, my idea for Cynder as a character came before I realized how important ender dragons were to the DTG 2 story, so there are discontinuities.))

On hearing Spirit, Cynder turns her head towards them, yet deliberately avoids eye contact.

   I have seen her before, but it was a long time ago and only in passing. Was it... um... ... Never mind, I can't judge time. I don't remember her name and I don't think she knows mine. ... Did you say it was Kai?   

Cynder looks off towards Tabbune near death.

   Meahhh... I should...   

Entity Action(s): The Grace Wolf heals players in her zone again. If you want the HP changes and damage nerf mentioned above, this would only heal Sacred Spirit and Fox. Otherwise, it's all players in the zone. Cynder heals Tabbune for 25,000. Or, similar to the Grace Wolf, only 6,000 if she gets the damage nerf + HP boost I proposed above.

well this has been a while. Its christmas holidays, but I duno how long I will be able to stay. It seems Lait/Telmoai has quit, taking any plot I was trying to run with Seda away with it. I'll probably keep RP-ing as her anyway.

Two questions. 1: So Tabbune is the GM now. this is what, the fifth regime change or something? How many changes have there been, and has this included any changes to the mechanics since September?

question 2: Could anyone give me a quick SITREP on the current situation (area, priority targets, strategic objectives, ETC.) ?

To Paradise, There have been no real mechanic changes since the 13th of November. I can't tell you about much earlier than that. Charge cap of 190, gradually decreasing (I don't like the gradual decrease) but nothing really after that. Um... So the current Layout of the field is a 3X3 grid or something to that extent. Current priority targets are Tabbune, Amaria and Ira it seems, because they have [BOSS] tags in updates. Current objective is to get Tabbune to stop fighting, either by killing/incapacitating them or by breaking the whatever it is that is causing them to fight for the Godmodder. Edit IV: A New Edit: I forgot to add what a majority of entities and players are trying to do.There is a multiple endings thing depending on how we deal with Tabbune. We are leaning towards the Pacifist Ending and hoping that that ends in our favour. Is that about what you need?

These were the last words out of Tabbune's mouth before he passed out. Laughing maniacally, Musha tosses the limp body off to the side.^note Tabbune's still alive, just out of action.

"Wo ho ho ho hoooo!!! Now that that weakling has been taken care of, I may take my rightful place at the Godmodder's side!"

These words have barely left his mouth before he is surrounded by a growing vortex of black and red clouds (the evil magic kind). Eventually, the clouds disperse to reveal a Humongous Mecha that would have touched the ceiling, if it were still there.

   "Now die!"   

"GG WP ALL." The Godmodder moves toward Musha Gundam, attacking anyone who gets in his way.

I'd say I didn't see something like this coming, but I totally did. Anybody know an effective way to destroy a Gundam? I've never seen one of these in any of the dimensions I've been to. Or are we going to try Talking the Monster to Death again. Also, somebody check on Tabbune. They aren't dead. But someone should move their body so they don't become dead.

Speed infuses his Sword with Light energy. Normally, this adds an effect. But Speed is just doing it because it leads up to an awesome (read: Incredibly Lame) pun. Speed's sword is now a Lightsaber.

Speed, who was in West with most of the rest of everybody, is able to see Tabbune's unconscious body.

Hah. I think I can put Tabbune's energy to a better use.

Speed holds his hand up, and surrounds it with a white Aura. The energy Tabbune was using to create a Rainbow Starstorm leaps from his body to Speed's hand, turning into Light energy. Speed infuses some of his own Light power into the Aura, buffing his next turn's Starstorm (Med. Power).

Edit VI: Return of the Edit: So I'm putting my turn to a better use.

With Fira:

What? First the Godmodder gets a Metal Gear, next the freaking Gundam turns on us? When do I get my giant robot to fight back?

She sighs, not knowing if the Godmodder did anything in his mega Metal Gear, because the GM didn't do a full update. Alpha, please do a full update like Tabbune would, on top of your one. It is very informative.

Well. Ira? Are you there or planning on doing anything?

Fira is guarding the not-currently-all-there Ira with a flaming Shield.

I think Tabbune will be mighty angry when he gets up and you're dead. That would end badly for everyone.

And Evil!

The Chaos Arrows fly around the room like madmen, then stop because they hit something. 1 hit G Wing. 255 hit Amaria. Evil takes the Darkness bolts, but brushes it off with no new noticeable injuries.

   Congrats, G Wing! You managed to dodge all of the Arrows I had for you, and also send them all toward Amaria! I know what to do with you.   

Large, flaming chains erupt from the ground and wrap themselves around G Wing's legs and arms. Just like the opening to God of War.

   Now... I'd use my next move, but I'll just let you suffer the pain of the burning chain, G Wing. I'll see how you like that, hm?   

Action Summary:

Speed saps Tabbune's Rainbow Starstom energy. He is going to activate one of his own.

Fira is Protecting Ira.

The Sacred Spirit, though still invested in their conversation with Kai, can't help but giggle a bit at her comments.

'Well, I'm an Empath, Kai. I kind of can't help it. I have to let out what I feel inside. I'm so in tune with Emotion that negativity, despair, and fatalism are like poison to me. There are a few times I've been brought down to a feral, primal state, driven by my base instincts, because of overwhelming negative emotion. Positive emotion has the opposite effect on me, allowing me to concentrate and keep myself from acting purely on raw impulse. It helps me keep my conscious mind in control, and avoid hurting those I know and love. In fact, I believe my love for you is one of the strongest feelings I've felt before!'

S/he shrugs.

'Who cares if I'm broadcasting my inner thoughts to everyone? That way, people know how I'm feeling, and my friends can help me through any emotional struggles I get into. There's not a thought I'd ever want to hide!'

S/he looks at Talist, and tilts their head.

'Oh, sorry...let me explain. I have no voice of my own, apart from minor vocalized sounds, like laughing, gasping, sighing, and the like. I can't form words. I telepathically bend the subconscious thoughts of those I communicate with, implanting the intended meanings of my physical language. I change their subconscious reception of the message, so they perceive it, not as a separate telepathic voice, but as their mind's own understanding of what I'm trying to convey. I'm doing it right now!'

Shadow nods.

   "Oh, I knew there were other Ends. There are many, many versions of the Minecraft Universe. I've actually visited the Universe the game was unknowingly based off. Provided a lot of creativity, and I actually managed to tame some of the usually-aggressive wildlife. It's pretty tough to suppress a Creeper's natural self-destruction instinct. I've seen plenty of Enderdragons, many were sinister, though an equal amount were able to be reasoned with. There were usually very few per world, though."   

Hearing Cynder refer to herself as a Princess, he raises an eyebrow, grinning.

   "Ahhhhhhhhh... Royalty, eh? Well, Milady..."   

He performs a noble bow.

   "...I am honored to meet you. I'm Shadow, Aspect of Darkness, essential leader of the group of Gods known as the Aspects of Unity. To whom do I owe this honor?"   

The Sacred Spirit tilts their head, and looks as the Starstorm disappears from the sky. S/he shudders, whimpering quietly.

'I don't like the thought of what that means...'

The Party looks on in shock as the Musha Gundam assumes his true form. Shadow growls.

   "Oh, look, the sentient Blood Knight Musha Gundam Mecha pulled a Face–Heel Turn and revealed he was Evil All Along while going into an Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever Humongous Mecha One-Winged Angel form after announcing his Pro-Godmodder status, thus becoming The Dragon to the Big Bad. If those tropes were toxic chemicals, we'd be dead from an overdose. I never saw this coming, at all! So, Arkus, Spirit, how are our secret weapons coming along? Can you feel them?"   

Arkus and the Sacred Spirit nod.

"Yes, I feel a strong sense of power from the Fey Expanse."

'I just got a feeling from the Glade.'

Shadow nods, pulling the brim of his hat over his eyes.

   "Right. Keep Kai in good health and in good spirits. I'm gonna' see what I can do here."   

Action: Shadow fires a volley of energy bullets from his dual Finger Guns, aiming for Dark Musha Gundam's visor.

   "Let's see if I can blind you..."   

Plus three to Talist.

I need moar charges! They were gonna' peak at 100, but Tabbune has my stats! I'm ovahchargin' them, so they can thrash the Dark Musha Gundam!

Cool. I kinda want to summon my charges, but only Tabbune and I know the specifics on their stats. Should I just over-charge them until he gets back? They'd be good against the Dark Musha Gundam.
