Force of Nature: 78/? Hint: Thinks Manda is a worthy ally.

What Even Gods Fear: 78/? Hint: Thinks Godzilla looks tasty.

Shadow and the others face the flames, paralyzed by Empathic guilt. Shadow telepathically contacts Talist.

'Ngh...yeah, Spirit's Empathic abilities weighed down on us when they fell unconscious. We felt their pain, and now we're left with their flames. They used the bad emblem we got when people didn't help us rescue a robot that died in Walpurgisnacht's death explosion. We need some help fighting these flames and getting back on our feet.'

'I wasn't able to get Spirit anywhere, so I brought them back with me. Protoh's looking after their wounds, but they're out cold. Probably best, given their condition. I think burning and burning while being immortal, and feeling all would be one of the worst things to happen to them, being half-plant and all.'

'If you and Kai could help us, that'd be great. I just want you to know, Spirit did this for Kai. The emblem would've singed Kai and all the other allied creatures. Please, help us. Help Spirit.'

He draws the Party close together, and Commander Protoh looks at the Sacred Spirit, shaking his head.

"You did it. You prevented Kai from being hurt. Talist is coming. Rest easy."

Summary: immobilized, unable to move.

Plus three to Talist.

@Tabbune Well, I mainly just spent that turn doing retroactive exposition, because, as I said, that's how the show goes down: Something really cool happens at the end of one episode, then the next episode shows how all that went down. Also, Mika is a separate entity.

Fragment of the Song: 100/100 ... Um... is this being used? It should.
Cynder: 199/(Very close. But I don't really want to finish the charge. She's way too complicated)

@Tabbune: I spent my 100 post charge to upgrade the Grace Wolf from a 100 post entity to a 150 post entity with TOTALLY different mechanics.

All her new mechanics are here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2vs4bsp05eyt3w8/Fragment%20of%20the%20Song.rtf?dl=0
The referenced picture is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5v02dljb3ppmej8/Comp%201_00000.png?dl=0

Although, are you saying you don't want me to upgrade my entity and instead I need to spend the full 150 posts? Upgrading her means I'm taking away my current damage source.

@The G Wing: I'm not close enough to respond IC, so I'll quickly say something OOC. A version where the Godmodder is good? There has been a DTG game where people played AS godmodders. The Godmodder (Richard, specifically) wasn't always evil as well.

I somehow avoided the lightning bolt. Huh.

To respond to Shadow,

"I- ... Okay, I'll make my way over to you, but I need to get past the Godmodder. I'm not sure how well I c-"

It was at this point that a small miracle happened. Kai interrupted me. Of course, someone interrupting someone else isn't really much of a miracle, but given how inept Kai usually is at telepathy, it might qualify. Shadow could hear Kai actually making use of the telepathic link to speak even when nobody was listening. Although, her "voice" was constantly interrupted by flickering amounts of static, like a music radio with terrible signal. Her ability to speak actively rather than passively in the link seemed to be see-sawing from being somewhat clear to being muffled by her own ineptitude at telepathy.

NO! Burnin —/ //—// | // | //// /- ///- / | - —- | //// / /-// /—/ | // cannot allo /— | - //// /- - | // | — /- -/— | /— /- -/ - | - —- | //-/ // —/ //// - | - //// / | —/ —- -// — —- -// -// / /-/ —//— | -/// //- t heart over might, like ho /— | - /- /-// // /// - | - —- /-// -// | — / /-/-/- I won't fall ba -/-/ -/- | // -/ - —- | - //// / | -// /- /-/ -/- Out of my way!

Springing forward, Kai bolts past the Godmodder and loops around the map, ending up in the northwest section near the Party. She skids to a stop next to the unconscious Sacred with a look of fiery determination.

Speaking to Shadow again,

"Huh... I think I forgot to cut my telepathy with her when I was talking to her before. Seems like she's braver than me."

Kai's will seems to falter slightly on seeing the burnt, unconscious, and broken Sacred. However, it just so happens that the Fragment of the Song upgrade I got for her gave her an ability specifically for healing players. So, Kai gets a hold of herself, and starts to sing in her particular kind of howling and humming, kind of like in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Like most kinds of bardic magic, nothing visible happens, but everyone in immediate earshot feels... better. It makes pain just easier to put aside and gives the spirit to carry on.

In other words, The Grace Wolf loops around the location listings and moves to the Northwest section. There, she uses Bardic Tune: Spirit to, somewhat ironically, heal Sacred Spirit. It also overheals Fox because he's in the same zone. Using it also increases her Beat value.

Action: I follow the Grace Wolf and move to the Northwest section. There, I offer the third assist and extinguish Sacred.

[nja]Anti Ninja

Speed's action gets noped to the ground. Another day another rant.  Fira moves to Tabb's Southwest.

Ripsaw flies over Tabb and then shoots him with a bolt pistol, dealing a total of 3000 damage. Tabbune changes his direction to Ripsaw. Come at me.

Trip helps Sacred on putting out the Burning Agony. Wait. Apparently you don't have to be in the same zone to help in this fight.

The Party lays down helplessly.

(Alpha: The point? You could've probably done something useful, and let the "flashback exposition" just be RP. And no, an extra body means an extra sponge for cleave-effects or a free fix for bad positioning. I'm not giving that for free.)

Infinity slashes Tabb's with a katana for 3000 damage. The Kill Sat blasts Tabbs for 6000 damage. Tabb's aim moved to Northeast.

Kayne commands Dr. Ned to pull out a zombie and move to Northeast of Tabbune. Dr. Ned only manages to run to Tabbune's Southeast.

GWing casts a cure spell on Rip, healing him. There are better targets, y'know? Someone is literally burning to the ground.

Talist upgrades the Grace Wolf. The Grace Wolf then heals the Party. Talist also cures the Party from the Burning Agony. Issues.

End of Turn:

The Godmodder flies to the otherside of the field.

Tabbune unleashes a Frost Wave to his Northeast, damaging Infinity to Mortally Wounded and the Kill Sat by 10000. The wave's also applies Frozen Ground from North to East, preventing movement from there.

The Portlight flies over the battlefield.

Again? Really?

Well, he's definitely not in his right mind, so I guess do the usual. But this is different. There are no intense sources of mana nearby, and his Nexus Field isn't triggered.

Okay, so I guess we crack him open like usual.

Yeah. Be careful, though.

Amaria and another girl jumps down from the Portlight to Tabbune. Amaria slams Sunstrike on Tabbune, the hit blocked by a protective barrier, but Tabbune took 3000 damage. Then, the other girl follows the attack, dealing 3000 damage to Tabbune. You can't quite see the other girl as she has a barrier around her.

They both land at East to Tabb's position.

Tabbune faces East and charges a fire based spell.

Amaria emits a healing pulse that heals the Kill Sat and Dr. Ned for 2000.

I'll get this eventually. No resurrection without charge. Hey, are you writing this down?

So a second turn where not much happens on my end. I'll do something useful eventually.

Fira senses Speed and his increasing feeling of worthlessness as he fails to begin resurrecting Akanator.

Damn it damn it damn it damn it, Speed is going to lose control!

And sure as she says it, that's what happens, although it's subtle. The orange of his fur turns red, as do his eyes, and the rest of his cyan fur turns regular blue... though nobody would really notice through armour. Speed walks up to Tabbune, ignoring the pain of their Lightning Shield, puts an extended hand in their face and says in a slightly deeper voice:

   Chaos... NOVA!

The ensuing explosion is gonna hurt if you're caught in it. You may want to get behind something.

Fira jumps for cover behind some far off rubble of the House of Tech.

nononononononononononononononononononono NO! This is bad, very, very bad... Speed losing himself! I hope he can break free again... or we have a major problem. Idon'tknowifthere'sawaytobringhimback oh no n-no please don't succumb to Evil Speed, please, Speed, Come back!

Action Summary:

Speed becomes Evil Speed.

Evil Speed assaults Tabbune. The explosion damages anyone in close range to Tabbune. Evil Speed is a neutral character, and he takes a metric tonne of damage, Chaos Nova and Lightning Shield damage combo.

Fira is petrified... for both herself and Speed.

Fira is in cover. Attacks from the everywhere on the field bar behind her just fly over her head until she comes out. And right now, she is not coming out of cover.

Special Attacks:

Gauss Rifle: 10/225

Wrath of the Elements: 28/1500

which is me lol

INTO THE ROBIT

STATS: 1,200,000/120,000,000 HP, 8,000 attack

However, it is hampered by three facts

1) It's nuclear-warhead directing railgun has been damaged and cannot be used (since I think a Nuke would be the absolute worst thing you can use in close-range combat

2) Its satellite is easily damaged, and if it is damaged, if the user must open REX's hull to see anything.

3) If the user is forced out of the cockpit, anybody can hijack it (even Pro-Godmodders), therefore counting this entity as a Neutral entity.

If this is too powerful, I can definitely nerf it a bit. I just thought a 100 Charge should be especially worth the time.

Also its special attack is the Free-Electron laser, which is basically a powerful laser that can target a single foe.

It's also armed with a machine gun and missiles.

now that that's out of the way

/quicknull

You might remember how I argued for some kind of limit on charges. To be honest, the Grace Wolf is somewhat of a proof of concept to show how ridiculous this no charge cap is. I'm getting the most assists (partly thanks to Sacred) because I'm so charming or something, which means I am flat out THE most powerful player here just from entities. With no charge cap, popularity IS power. Just look at the Grace Wolf. She's a 150 post charge and deals about 30,000 damage per turn. She's not even that focused on damage. That's 10 times what players deal now. She even outheals Tabbune's damage for the most part. That's bad enough, but what about Cynder? She's going to be about a 200 post entity. I dug up the numbers used for entity balancing (2000/125, 1000/250, or 500/500). Let's say I pick that last option, the glass cannon. Cynder would have 500*200 = 100,000 HP and damage. ... Just let that sink in a moment. One hundred thousand damage. Per turn. That has the ability to one shot anything on the battlefield, bar the Grace Wolf. Cynder combined with the Grace Wolf means I would have (100,000 (Cynder) + 30,000 (Wolf) + 3,000 (my damage)) = 133,000 damage per turn. This means I would deal about 12 times more damage per turn than Trip, who has (I think) the second highest at 11,000. The only way the Godmodder could get any kind of entity presence is either A) Flat out one shot Cynder, which obviously would make me really angry. Or B) Summon absurd entities with around 400,000 HP. If that happens, anyone without entities becomes totally irrelevant. It would become me and Ripsaw with our 200 post entities against the Godmodder. I did a quick estimate of the total amount of damage the AG's can deal per turn without my entities, which is about 78,000 (assuming that each player deals 3,000 damage and any entities I don't know the damage of deals a quarter of their HP in damage per turn). Cynder would deal more than that per turn without any help.

TLDR: We need some kind of limit on entities. Otherwise, this game becomes "Whoever has the most entities/popularity is flat out strongest". I actually really like entities and RP, much more than attacking, but this is going to get out of hand very fast. Charge or die.

I'm probably over dramatizing this because obviously, I don't have a trademark on entities. But I certainly have the most charge points sunk into entities.

I turn to face Speed and start shouting to be heard.

"Notch freakin' dangit Speed! I was going to go to you next. I can't be everywhere at once."

I can't be everywhere at once, but I can spread out some characters.

I catch up to Kai where she's being applauded by the Party. Now, Kai was being silent in the team telepathy. Anyone who wanted to hear her would have to listen specifically to her. Still, she was clearly adoring being hugged by Sacred and pet by Fury.

I have friends! New friends! I love it! Heart over might! Joy to meet new people! I'm better now!

She puts her head down, temporarily forgetting what she's supposed to be fighting. EDIT- However, she suddenly perks her head back up and gets more excited on hearing The G Wing play Megalovania, despite it only being a link. She seems to be able to just... feel it. She doesn't just hear music, she feels and sees it thrumming through every falling leaf, every running river, and every clash of blades, each of them a song. She can probably even taste and smell music, but I've never asked her. Her Beat and Tempo each go up by 1 due to the song's nature, setting her into Driving. I arrive and start chuckling to myself.

"Ah, it begins."

I look down to Kai, who is both surrounded by and filled with admiration. This is giving me so much wonderful nostalgia. My characters always are more popular than me. Of course, that's the point. I usually try to keep RP and own actions separate. I'm not doing a very good job at that now, but it doesn't really matter.

However, after a little while, Kai realizes something and starts trying to gently pull away from Sacred.

I'm s-sorry, but I have to go. I'm glad I came here, but there's other hurt people. ... I'm so sorry.

Kai gradually extricates herself from Sacred and backs away.

Entity Action: If Ripsaw and Trip are still in the northern area (which they should be because of the frozen ground effect), The Grace Wolf goes there and uses Bardic Tune: Spirit again to heal both Ripsaw and Trip. If either they aren't there or frozen ground prevents movement to an area, she stays in her current area and heals the Party again.

Action: I reinforce the Northwest position by causing a zone of thick green grass. If an enemy tries to enter this zone, the grass grabs at them to deal damage.

Over by Speed, he hears the voice of a character I'm not sure I want to keep in this session.

   Hey there. You feeling alright?

Cynder, still being very passive, is lying down in the grass to the southeast of Tabbune, her wings tucked in by her sides.

Should I join in this? I guess my current strategy of waiting around for an opening isn't working.

[nja]Anti Ninja

Speed turns evil and assaults Tabbune, injuring himself, and dealing 6000 damage. Looks like you discovered a hidden command in the system. Careful. Fira dodges stuff. (Tabbs doesn't have a Lightning Speed, the crackling was him casting the lightning bolt two turns ago. And I'm just going to list Evil Mode because your Neutrality only hits Tabbune.)

Infinity heals the Kill Sat for 3000. The Kill Sat floats around.

Trip summons the REX. It's coming!!!...? (Yeah. Not even close. 300000 HP 8000 Attack. And a 20000 HP cockpit that protects you. Deal?)

(Talist: Yeah. But how? I'm gonna have quite a lot of real life stuff soon, so no complex mathematics, please. And a charge cap sounds nice, but how do I compensate for charges already over the treshold?)

Ripsaw tries to reposition, but his feet is stuck to the ground. He then throws a Reave at Tabbune, dealing 3000 damage to him. Ouch. Cut it out.

Kayne moves to Southeast and then commands Dr. Ned to go to the Kill Sat at Northeast. Dr. Ned pulls out a zombie and then go, before getting stuck in the ice at East. He then throws the beer at the Kill Sat, healing it for 3000. Somehow. Micromanagement options are at the top of your screen. You may select whether the Zombies follos Ned or not.

Shadow scans Tabbune. Wait a minute, okay? There's this rune-letter note which is hard to read.

GWing moves to where Fira is and joins her on hiding.

Talist throws a grassfield at Northwest to damage anyone else. Then, the Grace Wolf moves to North of Tabb's and heal Trip and Rip.

End of Turn:

Tabb unleashes a Firestorm at his East, dealing 20000 damage to Amaria, the other girl, and Dr. Ned. As well as Mortally Wounding Musha.

Ouch. You okay, Ira?

I'm fine. Let's just get this over with.

Ira and Amaria proceeds to combo-attack Tabbune, dealing a mini-critted 7000 damage. Ira gains 4000 barrier from her Force Blades.

Tabbune raises his right hand up to the sky. The sky shines with multiple colors.

Everyone, get down!

Amaria's Love Pulse heals her, Dr. Ned, and the Kill Sat for 2000.

There we go. I was waiting for that update.

Evil Speed steps back slightly and taps the centre of his chest, fully retracting his armour, and revealing a gash on his left shoulder. Had that gash been anywhere else it would have healed by now. Speed's accelerated healing isn't going to kick in 'till that gash heals up.

Pathetic life, Speed is. He thinks some fancy armour will save h-OW! Oh, he's feisty today! He- Argn! Must really want his- Gah!

Speed reverts to his original colour scheme...

Oh, hey, Cynder. Good to... See... You have arrived on field. You... Need to run... Very fast. I'm only... Barely keeping Evil under long enough to... Talk to you. Get Fira... Or somebody... Who might... Be... Able... To... Help...

And he's back to Evil. Whoop de freaking do.

Speed, you naive idiot. You know, Cynder, he's right. You should run... Very far away. Because after I'm finished dealing with Tabbune, I may be coming after your little gang next.

Evil Speed, who from here on shall be referred to as Evil, at least from my character's speech and my posts, says without batting an eye towards Cynder.

Speed's Subconsious; 5 minutes later.

God damn it. I'm not going to be able to do that again. I need to find a way to pull back on the reigns Evil has while not beating myself up. I need this body!

I believe I may be of help, in that case, Mr. Darke.

Note: Not a character. But I needed a guide to Speed's Subconsious while I think up weird stuff for fighting back. Suggestions for who this mysterious Purple/Maybe some slight blue in there so may form as are welcome!

The Battlefield:

Fira pokes her head slightly out of cover to see The G Wing (because they should be there. They posted that, missed it in you update, Tabbune.) and the Godmodder in her... Area. She can still ACT in cover, so she fortifies G Wing's shield with Fire.

So, she dives backwards, does that punch her hand thing Athena Cykes from Ace Attorney does sometimes and puts a bunch of fire in her hands. She launches pillars of flame in the air and they wrap around the inside of the shield, holding it together. She dives back into cover.

So, G Wing. I guess you need some explanation, right? If you do, I'll try and condense it into what's relevant. No promises. If not, I'll let you run with what little you know about Speed's current conflict.

Fira says, clearly trying to hold back tears. She does NOT like Evil Speed... Not one bit. (She secretly hopes Speed.exe, AKA Anti-Speed doesn't show up either. He could wipe the entire field... Along with everything else in a 600 mile radius.)

But you're on the right track, bringing up Undertale. We need to call out to Speed like (MEGA SUPER SPOILERS FOR THE PACIFIST ROUTE IN UNDERTALE AHEAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!) Frisk did to Asriel Dreemurr. We may call him back that way.

Evil, back in control, starts up a focuses a Dark Barrier into the sky, just above him. It might block the Rainbow from Tabbune. He doesn't know if it will yet.

Action Summary

Evil casts a Dark Barrier in the air above him, because he retained most of Speed's skills. Just with some Dark Magic and Soul attacks mixed in. Anyway, he's preparing for Tabbune's Rainbow Attack.

Fira Fortifies G Wing's Barrier. Extra Turn to break it. Slight sobs can be heard from behind Fira's cover, to anyone listening.

Special Attacks:

I have a feeling that the charge times on these are a bit over the top. Taking Talist's example, A 200 turn charge up for mediocre damage is still going to be absurd. And I may have broken the record for longest Charge Up with Wrath of the Elements, at it's current rate, it'll probably do at least 1756294648265856.16 points of damage. Per turn. Keep in mind it's a 7 turn combo. Maybe I exaggerated that number a minute amount, but you get the idea. Is there a charge up time that I should put on these, considering I don't want Gauss Rifle to take a longer start up than Cynder and I want to use Wrath of the Elements at some point?

Gauss Rifle: 11/225

Wrath of the Elements: (+2 total from Infinity and Talist) 30/1500

  • 1 to Infinity, Talist, G Wing.

((Tabb: I was hovering before the ground was frozen. If I wasn't hovering, the flame wash from the jetpack should have melted me free anyway)).

I up the throttle on my jetpack for a moment (burning two charges) to melt the ice. "This is gonna hurt..."

  • 1 from Kayne
