Seeing that there's no time to waste, Musha wills the planet back down. However, it has steadily moved away each turn. This is gonna take a while, but thanks to the two charges he received, it will arrive slightly faster than normal.
"A shame. I was saving that for the Godmodder."
He then fires his pistol at Walpurgisnacht, causing a Dark Magical Girl to spawn.

Suck it, troper!Bookkeeping station: Got +5 total. The role of exposition has been outsourced to distant overpage nations. Sacred,
Speedon,
Infinity
Fragment of the Song: 98/100 (Fun fact: Kai suddenly became a character with a role in my backstory. Quite an important role, actually. I played DTG 2 (which is different from this game, Tv T 2) by summoning lots of different entities. Maybe I'll play this one with only Cynder and Kai and I'll upgrade/change them over time.)
Cynder: 182/()
First, I ignore some simple IC logic and speak to Speed despite being in an entirely differently room.
"But... clorophyte isn't supposed to be heavy. Plus, the staff itself isn't made of clorophyte. That's just the crescent blade on the top. Ever heard of something called a Monk's Shovel? That's what this staff is modeled after."
Then, I continue breaking IC logic and turn my attention to Fira.
"So Darke? Interesting if I need to annoy him for whatever reason. Secondly, why do you have these rules and why are you telling me? Anyway, you can be liberal with your definition of 'god' and talk to whoever you want. With this power scale, everyone gets to be a god."
Then after after that, I turn my attention again to Shadow.
"Huh? To my knowledge, she thinks she's plenty strong. She can easily hold her own in a fight and you've see- ..."
I glace over at Kai.
"That's not what you mean, is it?"
Unheard over telepathy, I sigh, looking at Kai who was biting and scratching the Dark Magical Girl that apparently spawned literally on top of her. Despite her opponent only having about 1/5th of her maximum damage as HP, she seemed to be having some trouble, taking occasional hits and scratches.
*SNARL* *Ar-RAR!*
Kai's thoughts. I'll leave the choice if you want to read them.
"GET OFF ME! The thrill. Intoxicating thrill leaving the world to spin. The pain. Of what I've d- I'm sorry! OKAY?! They hate me now! They mu- Grh... I have to keep fighting. I won't think. Everyone is watching. Judging. I won't fai- Argh- I won't fail. I can't. Not again. But how can I keep going when I feel so weak and sic- I have to foc- Ow! Focus on the fight, not on how fragile my front is. Weaknesses for all to see."
Drawing a gold trimmed short sword etched with computer wiring from my belt, I proceed to load the sword into my crossbow, crank it, and launch the sword into the body of the Dark Magical Girl.
Back to talking to Shadow,
"Are you reading her thoughts? This has spiraled out of control. I have to do something."
Unheard via telepathy, I sigh and draw the Staff of Ysera. I twirl the staff around, holding it with both hands horizontally. Using it like a scalpel, I slash the blade through the air, cutting a window into space. The outline I made fills from the inside out with green mist, seeming to provide a small, dancing view into another world.
"Kai! Listen. You're relieved from active combat, effective right the Nether now. Come on. We're going home."
Rising to her feet and shaking herself off, Kai looks at me indignantly.
Kai's thoughts. I'll leave the choice if you want to read them.
"What? Going home? No! I want to stay and fight! You can't make me leave! I need to get stronger! For revenge and to right the past! You should know that more than anyone! You- You just can't make me leave! That's what we've agreed on, rememb-"
I cut her off mid sentence.
"No. You're not helping anyone by spiraling off like this, least of all yourself. You need rest. How do you think you can keep on fighting while you're actively fighting yourself? I respect your own choices most of the time, but I can't now. You'll hurt yourself more than anyone here possibly could."
I stand next to the portal, arms crossed.
"We can do this one of two ways, either you'll come along by yourself, or I'll drag you back home. I will do it if you force me to. Protecting someone includes protecting them from them self."
Kai's thoughts. I'll leave the choice if you want to read them.
"I... no. No. You can't ma- I'm staying! I'm staying! I'm... I'm... I'm not staying, am I?" This isn't fair! It's... It's never fair. Not then, not now, not ever. ... Death never is..."
Head and tail down, Kai plods over to the portal I made and morosely steps through, her thoughts flashing through various, obscured, blurry past scenes of darkness. Eventually, she moved far enough away for the telepathic link to splutter and break. Relieved, I sigh.
"Hah... D&D rules apply. For intelligent magical beasts, you need diplomacy checks, not nature ones. Luckily, seems like I succeeded."
I look over at Sacred in the other room, who is probably worried.
"I'll be bringing her back. But I simply cannot let her keep going like this."
And with that, I step through the portal myself, closing it behind me.
Entity Action: The Grace Wolf leaves. However, she'll be coming back soon. So, please count this as her going into hiding rather than actually removing her from the battlefield.
(I'm on a rather short time limit to say all I want to say. Turn wise, that is, so I have to put down a lot of stuff here. This game took a turn I totally didn't expect, but am happy with.)
Me and Kai walk through the Emerald Dream in silence, ignoring all the lush greenery and heading for a clearing of dried grass that ran between two islands of greenery like a river. Once we made it to the clearing, I called down an airship I kept in the Dream to move around faster. It was one of those real steampunk looking airships, except it wasn't powered by steam. At all. Where the schooner would have pipes carrying steam or other fuels, it had thick, green padded wires that occasionally pulsed with light and energy from the Dream. After we boarded, the ship copied the silence between me and Kai by lifting off without a sound. I piloted it towards one specific spot, home. Or rather, the point in the Dream that corresponded to home.
The entire, auto pilot driven flight was mostly silent, save the rushing of the wind. Kai didn't want to talk to me and I wasn't going to listen in to her thoughts, even though she wouldn't be able to notice. It was best to just leave her alone, although I could occasionally hear her whimpering through the wall. In time, she would come.
Eventually, the ship landed on the outskirts of a frantically lush and verdant forest. Of course, the forest was mostly green, but there was often a different species of tree interjected among the crowd, sometimes with wildly different coloration. They seemed to be diverse simply for the its own sake. I call for Kai to follow me because we had arrived and we both dismount. After that, we start walking into the forest towards where I had set up a permanent portal. To get my attention, Kai barked at me in a particular pattern. I had heard that pattern a few times before, and it usually meant that Kai was inviting me telepathically. In the time of the flight, her tempo had slowed down, meaning she's more logical and less impulsive.
Kai's thoughts. I'll leave the choice if you want to read them.
"I swear, I'm fine. Why'd you have to do that? You just proved to everyone how weak I felt."
"You fear your friends more than your enemies. Plus, you were very close to spilling your past, which I know none of us, least of all you, want to bring up. If you had mentioned that off hand, you would have been simply paralyzed. Now, sorry I'm being deliberately vague, but telling this out loud would ruin the drama of both this little story line and my DTG 0 one. Can't be too careful with these invisible people we don't know about who are reading everything we're saying. They tend to be quite crafty."
Kai, who doesn't break the 4th wall as much as I do, smells the air and, not finding anything, looks up at me very confused.
"Don't worry about it. Besides, we're here."
I motion Kai to stop. We had arrived at a simple stone doorway covered in runes. I pulled the Staff of Ysera out from behind my back and prepared to open the portal. However, I turned to speak to Kai first.
"Now, we're going to be heading home and there's something I want to do to help you. I promise, after that we can go back. And once you're feeling ready, of course. Now, we're going to talk to Mikoto."
Kai immediately winced at the name.
"Yes... I know that you dislike each other. But if I remember correctly, he has a... umm... it's rather difficult to describe. Not describe to you, but to the audience. Remember how you used to not be so attuned to music? In your training, you got attuned to a source of power shared by all the Companions. Well, shared to an extent. You're using one aspect of this power. That's the basic idea anyway, but I'll describe it more once it's relevant. Mikoto can tap into multiple aspects of it, sometimes not entirely from his own abilities. He has a... we'll call it a battery to call on aspects of power. I'm quite sure that you could make much better use of it than he could. But I want you to come along when I talk to him. Now... I'm not going to force you if you don't want to, but I think you should."
Yay for longest post I've ever made here.

To test my theory, the Kill Sat attacks Walpurgis and I smite her with a charge of the Lightning Spear.

Suck it, troper!Kind of lapsed quite a bit, so I figured I'll just finish this and head off, at least for the time being.
After some work, I have finally assembled the badass motorcycle and got myself in the suit of armor with which to ride said motorcycle. And as I rev it up to attack, some heavy music emerged:
Painkiller summon: 140/140

I now go by Graf von Tirol.(I don't think I can update today. I can probably update Friday, though.)

Speed finishes the bridge. He and Fira then goes to Section 1, where they're too tired to attack after construction.
Trip strikes Walpurgis with revenge-powered fists, critting for 2900 damage. I'll help a bit! The Server-Announcer destroys the Girl that is about to spawn.
GWing joins the fight at Section 1 and joins Trip's attempt for revenge, dealing 2700 damage to Walpurgis. A Dark Magical Girl forms on him.
Musha shoots Walpurgis for 2700 damage, causing a Dark Magical Girl to spawn.
Talist launches a golden sword to a Dark Magical Girl with a crossbow. It crits and destroys the Girl, as well as piercing it and hitting Walpurgisnacht for 170 damage. The Grace Wolf hides into the Emerald Dream.
Infinity smites Walpurgis with the Lightning Spear for 7200 damage. A Dark Magical Girl spawns. The Kill Sat attacks Walpurgis for 4800 damage. A Dark Magical Girl spawns. I don't think it will.
Musha gets noped as this is his second turn.

Zoukugai moves to Section 3. You're kinda already there.

Speed has UMC 3's version of Objection! Playing now. Yes. Just yes.
Speed watches as Talist closes the portal to the Emerald Dream or wherever behind him.
Um... They'll be fine! I think.
Speed and Fira use that Flaming Drill attack mentioned last turn this turn. It's awesome and they have enough energy to do it this time!
There... We... GO! Take that!
All right!
Speed somehow notices Akanator's corpse as he spins, and upon piercing the head of Walpurgisnacht says:
Hey, Trip and G Wing, don't worry about Akanator! I can make him better! I just need some time and this bloody demon doll thing to go away!
Speed has a brilliant idea. Because he can absorb attacks and enhance his stats, he thinks he can Focus the energy from the Wave Motion Gun from the Kill-Sat. But he's not quite ready to try that yet.
The inconvenient Flaming Dress and other clothing Fira was wearing change into something more appropriate for combat. Not by much, considering it's now light armour, but it's better than a bloody t-shirt and pants or a dress and heels like she was wearing.
This is so much better! Do you know how hard it is to fight in a dress?"
Action Summary:
Speed and Fira attack!

"You'll absorb the Wave-Motion Cannon if I bloody well want you to. Give me stats on that boost, and then I might be willing."
I look in Walpurgis' direction, clearly formulating a plan of attack.
"Remember, there is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload.'"
With that in mind, I Master Spark Walpurgis, while the Kill Sat kills the DMG locked onto me.

Shadow replies to Talist.
'She always eats at her self-esteem by calling herself 'frail.' That shouldn't happen. She's the strongest, most noble wolf I've seen. She is unique, and she is amazing. Yeah, Spirit's taking it pretty roughly. They're an Empath, so they feel Kai's pain. They really want to help Kai see her worth.'
The Sacred Spirit nods, their eyes betraying their sadness. Shadow sighs when Talist leaves, and turns to Commander Protoh.
"Well, now that that's going on, what do you think we should do?"
Commander Protoh raises an eyebrow, giving him a sly look.
"Well, you tell me, Milord, you created my Race in your own image."
Shadow smirks.
"But I gave you guys free will. So, what do you think we should do?"
Commander Protoh closes his eyes, thinking.
"Ah...well, I think I saw a large, flaming robot in the last room. Maybe we should check that out."
Shadow grins.
"Great idea! If it's not hostile, maybe it could help us! We helped that alien in the crashed UFO before, didn't we?"
Action: The pair of dark beings waves the Party to Section Two, and the Sacred Spirit tries to part the air around the robot to smother the flames.
Plus three to Talist.
Umm, guys? I'm out just so you know. Anyways, dang, forgot about this stats thing. Just make him 120000 HP with regular damage output.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.(Earl: Please don't just fire and forget. Entities requires a command from their owner to attack, by the way. But, if you just put it there, I will nope the living hell out of it.)
(And I give up on the no swearing thing. It's kinda stupid anyway.)
Anti Ninja

Speed and Fira attacks Walpurgis for 3000 damage. A Dark Magical Girl spawns. Fira then transforms into her Fighting Form. (15000 HP, 3000 attack, double attack, is that fine?)
Trip stabs Walpurgis with a silver shovel conveniently lying around the House of Tech for 3000 damage. A Dark Magical Girl spawns on him
Musha summons Mikazuki Augus to obliterate the Girl locking him.
Kayne, Ned, and his crew comes to Section 1, Kayne damages Walpurgis for 3000, and then Ned's Zombies comes in and secures the kill. Kayne is rewarded with the "Walpurgisnacht Slayer Emblem". A text is written on it: "Use it to lock yourself and another entity in a separate area to fight for 4 turns. Noone can interfere. Additionally, you also summon 5 Dark Magical Girls that will aid you in battle"
A dramatic explosion happens as Walpurgisnacht reaches 0 Health, destroying all the Dark Magical Girls and the Burning Robot. All other actions targeting Walpurgisnacht are noped.
The blast also wipes out Ned's Zombies, Kayne's Protector Emblem,
Global Emblem received. "Burning Robot's Agony." The text reads: "One may use it and set him or herself on fire, taking 2 stages of Wound damage until three players help. As long this is unused, all entities takes 5% of their max HP as damage each turn."
Ooh... That's bad. There's one guy who is trying to help, sadly, Walpurgisnacht's explosion took it's poor life away before being helped. That's unfortunate.
GWing's, Infinity's, and Sacred's actions doesn't have a target. You are given a +2.
A loud scream is heard from the distance, the Godmodder is in pain, 5 damage taken!
(I realize that the Godmodder isn't coming often and may hinder the progress of the game. Also, the plot seems to be moving at a really quick rate.)
—
End of Turn:
Everyone gathers at Section 1.
The Godmodder teleports into the House of Tech. YOU punks took out Walpurgisnacht? GAH! What a setback. Oh well, I guess you would like to meet a friend of yours?
Tabbune then comes into the midst of the group. We meet again...
The Godmodder then shows a device. Or should I say a friend of MINE!
The field is "divided" into 8 sections, relative to Tabbune's position. You can move directly above or below the section you are in, up to two sections a turn.
Wait, there's a text I found. "All must come to a singular agreement". Huh, talk about vague.
Tabbune faces to his northeast and lightning crackles around him.
The Burning Robot's Agony ticks, dealing 5000 damage to the Grace Wolf, 4500 to the Kill Sat, 1000 to Fira, 3750 to Dr. Ned, and 300 to the Seraph.

Yeah, a lot happened, but still:
Act One has ended.
Intermission 2, start!
edited 11th Dec '15 1:17:39 AM by Tabbune
Intermission? What's gonna happen now, someone who has far more experience that me?
Good news, Alpha! The GM is gonna eat a planet sized pile of damage anyway!
Speed reads the Server Announcer's report.
All must come to a singular agreement? Unquestionably vague. I think SOMETHING will happen if everyone does something together. Godmodder included too, probably. It's likely gonna involve everyone meeting up in one sector of the Field. Which will let us hopefully pound on the GM.
Speed also replies privately to Infinity.
Not sure how you were reading my mind about that. I was kinda keeping that idea in my head until a useful plan developed around it. But I can tell you what I can do. I can pump a lot of my own power into it, altering it's effect. I can increase the damage output on the same range as before, but with a paralysis effect to any enemies stupid enough to get in the way. I can also increase the range and keep the damage pretty consistent as it is now. I can also focus the energy from the Wave Motion Gun into a smaller area to amplify the damage several fold on one enemy. So how's that sound?
Speaking of how something sounds, Fira's stats are fine. Be prepared for a promotion at some point.
Action Summary:
Not a whole lot, as I still need to get my bearings.
I have no idea where that damned cell is. And Speed is not searching the House of Tech.
Speed's Aura is now Red. Um... Yeah. I dunno.
Special Attacks:
Fira Class Promotion: And that time is in 40 turns. Hallelujah. Clarification: This promotion is to unlock Fira's basic moveset. Next promotion is a slight stat increase. Etc., will be clarified what each promotion is for on startup. 1/40
Gauss Rifle: 8/255
Wrath of the Elements: Character Quip of the Day: I've seen Speed use this. We could fit what was left to the 600 mile tall thing he used it on in a matchbox. -Tide. (+2 total, from Trip and Infinity.) 25/1500

gFlashback exposition, because that's how the show Mikazuki's from is like: It gives you an epic scene, and then shows what happened off-screen the next episode.
"Hurry up! We need to stop this Godmodder guy!"
The area underneath the recently ascended Jonathan Irons' temple was bustling as the crew tried to get what was being used as the generator back into its original state.
"Mika, we're going to need you to pilot this one again," Orga called out.
"Sure thing."
"Cutting the connection now!" There were a few muffled screams from above as the power went out.
"Alright, get that elevator going!"
Thankfully, there were subterranean elevators leading to almost everywhere from here. Why they were built, Mikazuki didn't know. All that mattered was keeping his "family" safe. As the platform rushed towards the door, he realized that there wasn't any time to open it. So, he simply used the inertia to blast through the ground.
Musha Gundam was losing this fight badly.
"I will not lose to a figment of some monster's imagination!"
He tried to cut it in half, but it dodged out of the way and used some sort of magic blast to throw him into the wall. The impact caused him to lose his grip on his weapons. He looked up to see the Dark Magical Girl ready one last attack. Prepared to die, Musha resigned himself to his fate. At that moment, however, a Humongous Mecha wielding a mace burst through the ground, obliterating the Dark Magical Girl.
"Who are you?"
"Mikazuki Augus. You?"
"I am Musha Gundam... Thank you for saving my life."
"I did? Well, you're welcome, I guess."
"I'll need your help with taking this person down."
Yeah, that's why I'm here.
[[red:"Very well. You'll need to join a telepathic link we all have right now. Speed, bring this boy into our network."
No action this turn, as Musha tries to bring Mikazuki into the psychic network, and both of them are confused at what happened with this newcomer.

Suck it, troper!((Sp33d:) I would like to remind everyone that fire damage or frost damage or (insert element here) damage is just flavor. Running off an elemental based damage system could hinder some player's experience.
I could've put an "immune to non-magic" clause on Walpurgis if I wanted to follow the anime's plotline (Homura can't kill her despite around a million Newtons of explosive force while Madoka can beat her quickly with magical arrows of the equivalent power-level) but that would ruin half the RP for no particular reason.
So yeah. The Burning Robot's Agony emblem's "fire damage" is not fire damage. You can't mitigate it by being immune to fire. Why would I even put it in if someone can just summon a non-stat RP character that can eat the emblem's active with no repercussion? /rant
Also Intermissions are just a break from the "main fighting")

DAMMIT! (in medic accent) Akantor is DEAD! Voice, can you do anything?
???: Um, no. I already told you. The Godmodder's and Walpurgisnacht's influences are blocking my abilities. I can save only one person at a time. And I never saved Akantor's progress.
Well. Nice job not predicting he would die.
???: Shut up.
