To be honest, the main reason I joined this session was for RP involving Cynder and another character who has never shown up on the field here called Wilson. I'll keep going, but without Piono it's going to be rather awkward trying to get Wilson over here because he's effectively in another dimension. ... Or universe. Or something. I don't really know myself.

I turn to face Neodyme as I walk towards the Portlight once more, followed closely by Kai.

"Well, this is the reason all kids shows, including the Mortal Kombat one, are required by inter-universal law to have at least one animal companion. Everyone loves them. Technically speaking, Kai has more characterization than I do. I should ask, how many Aspects are there exactly? Neodyme, was it? Gravity and magnetism? That reminds me of..."

I look down in silence for a moment.

"You know... this whole situation is actually reminding me of a situation that happened about two years ago. It's going down eerily similarly... Oh, I'm Talist by the way."

To explain, about 2 years ago, I summoned an entity. He was absurdly passive and didn't actually take sides and instead just made and sold potions to players. He was so passive (and kinda pointless) that the GM forgot to put him on the entity list, which meant that he was literally immortal because nothing could target him. So, once he had survived a field wipe and escaped all the players getting trapped into a sidequest, I started doing some RP with him, kinda like how I'm doing RP with and giving characterization to Kai right now. That entity was Wilson, who is now my ABSOLUTE favorite character I've ever had. He went from forgotten entity to one of the most popular characters of DTG, and it looks like Kai is following that same path. To be honest, I don't really want that. I have enough characters already (5 story relevant ones) and a planned out story. Although, if Wilson (and by extension, Cynder) is going to be irrelevant without Piono, I don't mind it as much.

Kai looks up to meet Sacred's eyes and barks happily. Although, she listens to what xe is saying and suddenly stops walking, frozen in her tracks, eyes open with fear and surprise. I reach the Portlight before noticing she's not behind me anymore. Turning around, I call to her,

"Kai? Are you okay? What's wrong?"

I start walking towards her, but she shakes her head, seemingly to clear it and then runs past me into the Portlight. Confused, I follow suit. Inside, she spends most of her time as far into the corner as possible, shifting her weight nervously back and forth. To anyone trying to hear her thoughts, they are mostly confined to fragmented, abstract emotions and images. Every time exact words and concrete ideas start to seep into her thoughts, she seems to try to forcefully replace them with a mental picture of a dense forest swirling with fog that seems to drip from the canopy like water.

Before the Portlight even quite hits the ground, Kai yelps, leaps out, then sprints as fast as she can down to Section 1. Startled, I jump out and scramble to follow her.

"KAI! Wait! Where are you going?"

IE: Both me and the Grace Wolf go to section 1.

She picks up the sword in her mouth then looks back up at S33d0n. Seemingly not actually using her mouth for speech, she asks,

Regardless of the answer, Cynder moves along to the Portlight because of the plot and how the plot generally needs everyone to stay in about the same area.

I pop out of nowhere holding a plate with a slice of chocolate cake on it.

I look around nervously and gulp. "So..." I say as I eat my slice of cake. "I guess that I have to... fight something?"

I begin charging my attack, 蒸気の波420 (Wave of Vapor 420)!

The Sacred Spirit is shocked by Kai's sudden BSOD, and looks worriedly at Talist, then follows them into Zone 1. Shadow and Commander Protoh share a look with the others, and the rest of the Party follows them. When the Sacred Spirit catches up, s/he looks down, worried, frantically signing.

'What did I do‽ Did I bring up a repressed memory‽ I'm sorry! I'm so very sorry! I feel her panic! I'm an Empath! This is really scaring me! I just wanted to give her a gift! I'm SorrySorrySorrySorrySorry!'

Neodyme's Avatar grips the Sacred Spirit by the shoulders.

"Stay calm. This can be resolved."

The Sacred Spirit manages to regain an uneasy calm, and Neodyme's Avatar looks at Talist.

"As of now, seven. There are more taking form, though, we are sure of that. We do not yet feel whole. The ones of us that have awakened are Shadow, Aspect of Darkness, myself, the Sacred Spirit, Galvix, Arkus, Aspect of Magic, Light, Aspect of the element which bears his name, and Fury, Aspect of Fire and Bloodshed."

The Party, hearing Speed's voice, blinks in unison. Shadow replies.

   "What's going on here?"   

Summary: The Party follows Talist and Kai to Zone 1.

Having finished his battle, Musha decides to find another enemy... only to find the current field empty of everything. No enemies, no allies, just him. He wills the planet to stop until the moment that he finds the Godmodder. He then hears Speed's voice in his mind. "Yes, I can hear you. Where is everyone?" After hearing the situation, he moves to Section 3.

"NOO!! JACK!" Fox sobbed before shurruging "ahh screw it, I have more" he muttered pulling twenty out of... Somewhere. 'Note to self: thank Father Anderson for teaching me his bayonet storing trick' "goddmodder!! Yo momma's so ugly even the blind go 'DAAAMMMNNN!!'" He yelled for the sole purpose of because he could... Now that I think about it that explains lot about Fox.

(I hear Rip run into Wal) I'm comin', teammate! (I take a sentry with me and attempt to run into section 4, only to bump into a locked door) dammit (i run into section 3 instead, only pausing to catch my breath and down another water bottle, as well as set the sentry down. the other 2 are still in section 5) please don't find me. pleasedontfindme. pleasedontfindme! (speed's voice enters my mind) so... we have team chat now..... (mentally screams "everyone! I think rip's in danger! we have to get to section 4!" I now proceed to put a sticker on that says "Hi! My name is Captain Obvious!")

@Tabbune: It was on post 1577. My RP kinda bled into a fancy action. I start walking over to Kai while pouring a small red potion into the pendant. Once I reach her, I set the pendant aside briefly and help her up, petting her head to try and get her to stay still at least briefly. I attach the pendant back onto her collar and activate it, causing a slight whirring sound. In a surprising move, or lack of move, Kai actually stays still as her pendant starts to vaporize the potion inside and let out a pinkish red mist. Kai inhales the healing mist deeply, holds her breath for a moment, then exhales, now a little calmer. Then she leaps back closer to the Mecha Guardians, now with a constant healing aura around her.

I quickly lose sight of Kai because she's much faster than me. On reaching section 1 and seeing Kai standing nervously against the wall, I slid to a stop, panting more than Kai was.

"hah... No... I don't think that's it... but maybe. Something did spook her. Oh yeah... thanks for remembering about the question I asked before getting on the Portlight. You know... dramatic pause for effect. I'll have to ask more later, like what you mean by 'awakened'. For now, I'll go try to... talk to Kai."

I slowly walk across the room to Kai and kneel down. Once I'm on eye level with her, I whisper a question to her.

"May I?"

After shuffling in spot and briefly looking over at the Party, Kai eventually nods stiffly. So, I sit down next to Kai and, seemingly, do nothing at all. We silently talk for a few minutes, only to be interrupted by Speed's voice being broadcasted around the building. Kai quickly jumps up and frantically searches the room for whoever is speaking. Finding nobody and realizing what the message is, she collapses back onto the floor and starts making that low pitched dog whine. I start pet her softly until she quiets down and then I get up and walk back to the Party.

"She didn't exactly tell me what upset her, but I think I know what it was. ... Sigh... Do any of you have a form of telepathy? You know, like reading thoughts? Well... I'm sorry, I should have remembered and told you. It's my fault. But... Kai doesn't know how to mask any of thoughts from telepathy very well. They're about as hard to read as a large blinking neon sign. Because of that, she's rather paranoid about people she doesn't know seeing her thoughts."

I hadn't noticed it before, but Kai had quietly moved up behind me, eyes mostly fixed on the floor. She seemed... embarrassed.

"Oh, she also said she feels like she overreacted and wanted to say sorry."

Kai finally breaks her eyes from the floor and looks at Sacred to bark, although not with the same energy as before.

"Hey, you over there." I gesture at the Dark Magical Girls "Are you intentionally mocking the city, or do you just not care?" I promptly begin assailing them with elemental projectiles.

An odd quirk of the multiverse that most Alhambrans see Magical Girls as something similar to our own Nobles.

Dark Magical Girls are seen as an unflattering parody of the Nobles who founded and ruled the city long, long ago. Others see them as a satire of The Queen of the City, though some call her the Rightful Empress of the World. Neither interpretation leads to a peaceful relationship.

To put it simply, the presence of one who isn't directly aligned with the City, is treated as a severe insult.

I express this distaste for such magic users by growling. It's a bad habit, and I should stop. But that's what I get for hanging around with were-creatures all the time.
