Shadow briefly ponders the Godmodder's words.
"Well, I don't care what the Godmodder says, I don't kill when I can help it. And how is defeating him hypocritical? Or was it throwing a dead monster at him for some reason? I didn't kill it... Nevermind. Let's just get this over with."
When he notices Tabbune, Shadow tilts his head.
"Oh, hello. I hope Carmen is safe. A world's in danger? Let's go, then!"
He leaps up to the portal, and dives through, the rest of the Party following. Arkus looks around himself in awe.
"I detect great Magical energies at work here..."
Shadow tilts his head, and clicks his fingers, changing his uniform from his modern Wastelander Attire to his previous fantastical/medieval Wanderer Attire, composed of light, black-dyed leather armor and a black cloak, in an instant.
"Fantasy world, Fantasy Attire. Now, what can I bring down nonlethally?"
He clicks his fingers, manifesting a bolas made of purple energy, and attempts to tangle the feet of a minor enemy. Meanwhile, Arkus is studying one of the allied Dragons from a distance, while the Sacred Spirit gazes happily at the Elementals.
"What a magnificent creature!"

"Hank has logged out..."
Deimos charges out into the fray, spraying bullets everywhere at the hostile demons. "Yippe ki-yay mothergorillas!!!"
((And this is where I launch the IUPC plotline))
Hank stalked down the halls towards Eric's office. He did that a lot. Years of combat and sneaking around in Nevada had left him with a sort of mental tick. He didn't walk anymore, he stalked. It made people around him uncomfortable, if they noticed he was there. Eventually you got used to it, but until you did it made him seem threatening.
He was a beacon of darkness in a sea of light, so to speak. It made him feel a bit better about his position than he had in a long time, but as with his method of locomotion, his mannerisms had been adapted to deal with the fact that for several years he'd lived in one of the most hostile landscapes in the multiverse. He was always on guard, and his inability to relax made other people nervous. He always felt a bit distanced from everyone, even though very few were actually rude or mean.
And then there was this, the ruminating on everything. He kept going over things in his mind, checking his life over and over again, like this was a book that he had to check and recheck to make sure the backstory stayed constant. It made him even more antsy, even if he didn't show it.
He walked out of the barracks. There were only a few people in Haven's guard right now, but Hank had been designated commander of it, with one Sam Vimes listed as acting commander, since Hank got pulled away so often by other things.
There were two leaders in Haven, Eric, who stood as the beacon of hope and justice that had brought everyone here in the first place, and represented the only chance people had of not having their lives ripped away by some unforeseen evil, and Vetinari, the one who would keep them alive. Eric was officially the leader of the IUPC, but Hank was among those who knew who was running Haven, and knew that it was definitely for the better.
He moved down the sunny streets, houses and shops lined the street, a small wagon retrofitted with hover motors putted down the street with a wagonload of magically-ripened produce from out in the fields. Haven was an odd place to live, with magics and technology of all levels sort of thrown together, and people just sort of building their houses any which way they liked.
Hank finally came to his destination, a large building was under construction, the advanced machinery and intricate nano-workings required to construct the space-bay was greatly prolonging the building process, otherwise the tech and magic at Haven's hands would have had the building finished in no time. Eric would probably be here, trying to fix the TARDIS.
He walked over to one of the engineers arguing with an architect over the feasibility of the most recent design change. Is Eric here? The workers jumped a bit. One of them shook his head. "Sorry Hank, just missed him. He stormed out grumbling about the TARDIS again, think he went down to Wilson's." Hank nodded and gave a curt thank you, and set off down towards the social center of the small town.

Well, the Staff wasn't doing anything because there were no entities to use it on. Alchemies rarely help against the Godmodder.
\\ Also, this is suspicious. So, the GM asks us to go kill these things and defend these other things... but why? How does this help us? Why are we doing this? Why are people assuming that the eldritch are evil? The last time we went into some other world and started killing indiscriminately, that world ended up frozen. I don't know who is 'good' or 'evil', so I don't want to fight. The [PG] or [AG] tag doesn't say anything. Instead, I walk up to one of the eldritch and cast a universal translation spell I have on myself. Then, I just ask it why it wants to attack this place. This probably won't work, but I need to try. Yeah, I'm often such a sucker for the chance of a peaceful solution. Also, it might be because I just went over obedience in Psychology, which is making me act irrationally defiant.
\\ I don't want to go to 450 volts...

I'll contribute with what Wilson would be doing/would have done.
... *deciding POV...* *Please wait...*
Wilson realized this narrative about him was being told in third person. A lot of construction had happened in the past few months, leaving Wilson feeling kind of useless. He did what he could though, which mainly involved manipulating gravity to slide bricks and mortar into place. He especially tried to build his own house, mostly to say that he built it himself even though the majority of the building wasn't. He got to do a lot of the wiring though, partly because he had a greater say in how his house was built thanks to his status as a war hero. That title was bittersweet though. As much as he tried to justify his fighting with "I didn't kill anything", or "I saved more dreams than I hurt", he still felt hypocritical. And, in the end, he had regret. Not quite guilt, but close. At least the place was calm.
He hadn't been intending it, but he ended up having his house modeled after the store he had back on Godcraft, which depressed him somewhat. At least now it still looked okay even when someone looked above 30 degrees. It was mainly made of smooth sandstone and was fairly small for a supposed war hero, only two stories high with a viewing balcony on the second floor. Wilson sometimes went up there during clear nights to peer through his telescope at the universe, thinking of all the different worlds, people, and dreams reality had. The house was almost surrounded by tall prairie like grass because Wilson never had it cut. The only parts without grass were the cobbled path leading up to the door, a pad with a helicopter like creation he made a long time ago, and the several air tubes giving ventilation to the basement below. Sometimes, colorful vapors escaped from these pipes and whispered upwards into the air, which suggested that Wilson spent most of his time downstairs in his lab. He had... interesting ideas on what a basement should be. Most of the basement was cloaked in soft shadows, giving anyone unaccustomed to the dark a chance of tripping and falling into the stone lined pool down there. Apart from in the pool, the stone floor and walls had been replaced by sand and sandstone. The roof seemed uncomfortably low, and in many places was so low that most people would have to get on their knees to crawl through. However, Wilson liked it. It reminded him of some of his very earliest memories.
Usually, he spent his time darting around in his network of tunnels constantly playing with various alchemy recipes. Every time he finished a potion, he'd do the same ritual, smell the acrid scent of it, take it upstairs, set it on a podium, and write a price for it, just like he had back on Godcraft. Except now, it was more enjoyable because there was no need for negative potions. Plus, he always charged the same price for any potion, free, limit two per 'customer' per day. Sometimes, when he wasn't brewing potions, people walking by could hear him... not shouting, but speaking rather loudly. Anyone who looked inside could see that he was trying to dictate to a computer monitor. Every few sentences, it would seem to get something wrong and Wilson would mash the backspace key. And occasionally, the internet browser would crash, thus deleting large sections of work. (Hint hint. Why I haven't continued the story on the DTG forums. Hint hint. Seriously, I've lost that post at least three times now.) When that happened, he usually got frustrated and went down into his basement tunnels to go brew more potions.
Right now, Wilson was staring into his Hosi-no-Tama. Usually, he kept it down in the basement in a hidden box because if someone stole it, they might be able to extract a favor from him. However, now, he had taken it out and was trying to get it to change shape. He was supposed to balance it on his tail or in his mouth or something, but both seemed really impractical. Inari had told him that he could change its shape, size, and color, but she had left out the crucial detail of how exactly. It was somewhat ironic that he knew the complicated stuff, like shooting foxfire and making illusions, but not how to manipulate his Hosi-No-Tama. He had tried literally dying it with colors, but that never lasted long on the smooth surface. He felt like he was making some progress, but he wasn't sure.
I probably spent a really long time describing a scene that he's going to leave soon.
"Seems he's smarter than that." "Why didn't you just switch places with me and let me eat him?" "Because unlike you, I care about my body's ability to stay in one piece. Now let's go."
I travel to Alaxia.
The Sergal Knight follows along, looking over the Glintless horde "So many of them, and they're all mine~"

Tabbune Frostbolts a Spawner for 15k damage.
Anka and Channa does a combo attack and kills the injured Shambler and 15 Spawns. Channa then heals every AG for 2 000
The Dragons nukes the Spawns and roasts 200 of them.
The Elementals follows the Dragons and kills 100 of them.
The Warriors takes on the Spawns and slays 90 of them.
The Glintless Champions walks over Talist and plants it's arms on the Heart, breaking the Barricade and dealing 10 000 damage. As it was sucking mana from the Heart. Distant trees wither and the elementals are getting weaker.
The Spawners sit idly. Unable to do anything.
The Shamblers follows the Champion and attacks the Heart, eating chunks of it that falls off. More plants wither.
The Spawns rushes to the injured Elemental and kills it along with another Elemental. Heart healed for 10 000.
Ryujin's summons deals 7500 damage to the focused Spawner. —

Deimos levels his sniper rifle, and fires it off at the weakest-looking point in the injured spawner.
.
Hank walks down to what people have begun calling the 'town square'. Currently three buildings are built around the area that someone decided to pave after Wilson's house was finished, the first being Wilson's house, the second being Vetinari's office and home, as well as a large cafe.
This is the social center of Haven. Originally it was because of proximity to Wilson's home, due to various factors, particularly the fact that the little fox was anti-violence enough that even the angriest of the various immigrants wouldn't start fights nearby. People still hung out in Wilson's shop sometimes. It was a good place to go if you wanted a cozier atmosphere, and Eric often went inside whenever he was frustrated. He'd taken to potions of calming to level out his brain chemistry due to recent frustrations.
That was where Hank was heading now.
