The Greens set off a quake. Fitzgerald throws a hundred dollars into the air, then kicks Jaraxxus square in the stomach.
"Next time, old sport, would you be so kind as to set up a meeting? I have affairs to attend to, you know."
Solar shrugs. "I know, I just don't care."
They then summon their guitar again, and... wait...
Okay, yeah, that "guitar" is looking way too metallic and fancy to be one. But what it is, well...
"HAH!"
Solar starts playing the Golden Lute, which for some reason sounds like an electric guitar.
"I'll tear you apart while you're dancing to the beating of your heart!"

When everything changes nothing changes./RPNull:
@Talist: Okay. He's got a habit of scanning people, especially those he's just met. He actually usually needs to be reminded that it's impolite not to ask first. So Mikoto's not a robot...hm...
Well, that's...an...interesting suggestion...
Ah, as I thought. They seemed like those Gods. So, you have a panther who is essentially a Storm / Moon Demigod, and a hyena who is essentially a Fox / Sun Demigoddess. Fascinating...
Mm. Names have power, though.
...well, I'm basically an Atheist, myself, so I don't think there's some manipulative force shaping the world, since I've never thought there was any evidence for that, so I guess you could say I believe the world's just there to be a world. Life itself is strange. And, I know, it's ironic that I'm an Atheist who plays a full Pantheon of Gods. That's just one of the hypocritical bits of my style.
As for Inari, she's between Wilson, who's positive, yet resigned, and Cynder, who's mysterious and withdrawn? Okay...getting more curious.
Yes...? Light is the Aspect of Light. Inari's a Light Demigoddess. Of course Light's going to be curious. He just got over his defeatist tendencies recently, after all. He's showing something closer to his original personality. Sorry if I threw something off.
Who can blame them? 'Tis young love. Well, in a figurative sense, given Spirit's young at heart.
Spirit blinks, looking curious at the idea.
'You think so...? Like some force or being guiding us down a certain path? Well, that's an interesting thought...I don't know what some outside entity would want from manipulating our fates...'
...and this time, said philosophizing rests squarely against the Fourth Wall. And, as for Wilson, that's kind of the thing an Atheistic / (Anti-)Nihilistic kind of person would cry out against, of course. It'd insinuate they were wrong about the 'whole meaninglessness of the universe' thing.
S/he nods, taking on a cheerful look.
'...but, like you said, if this watcher guided us down a path that leads to this much happiness, and they fulfilled my deepest wish, then they must be good! I feel like I can say anything in your company, and you won't judge, either...'
S/he listens to Kai's question, blinking. S/he takes on a thoughtful look.
'...well, Sylvan politics are so sophisticated and almost contradictory that I tend to get confused when someone discusses them with me. The Natural world's been my forte. Anything overly complicated that civilization brings isn't really my strong suit, especially not politics. That doesn't mean I'm unwilling to talk about what I know with you, though. As for if I'm always the final say, it's either me or the Captain of the Guard. The Captain's important, not only to the Sylvan Glade, but to me, personally. He's the closest thing I have to a parent figure. He's the one who basically raised me. He's played the role of both a mentor and a guardian to me, and he's probably the most respected of the Sylvan Court. When I can't be reached, he fills in for me.'
S/he nods, looking happy and slightly proud.
'Well, I knew that much!'
S/he pauses, then shrugs, looking sheepish.
'...well...almost that much. Slightly that much. ...okay, I heard it a few times. ...not that many times.'
S/he looks carefree.
'But that only means I can learn it over from you!'
Alright. That sort of seems like what the Captain of the Guard would do, since he's on friendly terms with Spirit, and he oversees most of the legal matters. He's basically a second authority figure.
S/he nods, looking impressed.
'Yeah, some Gods tend to run on a model like that. It can really be bad for a Deity of that type if something happens to either change the mind of their worshipers, or directly creates a way of personally and significantly decreasing their following. Well, in cases where said Deity is malicious at all, then that threat of cessation of existence can actually be a good plan to fall back on if you can't find another way to defeat them. Yeah, the power of belief varies, sometimes. The requirement of a lot of people to insist on one's continued existence would surely be an extreme. If you apply that bare-bones definition of power to me, then, yeah, I'd be very powerful, and so would the Captain of the Guard. We can both influence decisions.'
S/he takes on a friendly, comforting look.
'Well, you know a good deal more about politics than me, so I guess we both have our own specialties. I don't mean to make you feel inadequate or anything. In fact, that's the complete opposite of what I'm going for. I'd be happy to teach what I know, and, given I'm a Deity, I kinda' tend to bend the rules of reality to my whim, anyway. I don't think it's bad that you're a bit foggy on Biology. It just means there's something I could maybe help to teach.'
Oh, thank goodness...that helps. My secrets are safe.
The Guardian looks curious.
"There isss another more eccccentric than you? How curiousss..."
He blinks at Kai's roll, and smiles.
"How droll... Well, that wasss a good ssstart...that wasss cccertainly sssomething. It would ssseem to alssso ssserve the purpossse of a good exxxercccissse routine."
Spirit blinks, and tilts their head.
'Really? Hm. Well, then...that's curious.'
S/he nods.
'Well, it makes sense to me. And, I didn't think that out, particularly, since I just thought it was a special gesture...but being that young would certainly be a worthwhile tradeoff. I wouldn't mind doing that. Besides, it'd be a wonderful feeling when I'd get to see her again.'
S/he stares, and sighs, a mix of amusement and light-hearted exasperation on their face.
'Oh, Leishi...that was...unique.'
S/he snickers.
'But it totally didn't count, though.'
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Spirit returns the look, tilting their head.
'You have to agree, it's a start...'
S/he laughs to themself quietly, taking on an affectionate look as s/he starts petting Kai.
'Well, it's good that we're once again in sync...'
S/he closes their eyes, and begins to quietly hum, as well, choosing the lilting tune s/he had composed for Kai, that had become a symbol of their love.
Neo looks curious.
So, you have many uses for the energy...that is interesting. Offense, defense, stealth...is there anything you cannot do with this collected energy?
He pauses, looking thoughtful.
...I just realized. I am energy. Could you feasibly draw power from me?
He watches as Wilson turns invisible, looking curious again.
'That is a unique application. That seems like it would be useful if you were standing still, currently in hiding, but not as much if you needed to move. Regardless, that is something that I find quite impressive.
He hesitates, then ripples slightly.
Ah, I understand. Provoking your enemy into losing their composure can be useful, if they are not more dangerous without it. Some find it far easier battling one who has given up their common sense than someone who has an iron will. Said will, from what I hear, appears to be one of your defining qualities.
Neo takes on a more neutral tone, losing his annoyed edge.
As you can likely gather, I am not quite one for laughing. I tend to take a logical, level-headed approach to things. As for how it can help steel your will, I suppose that most of my brothers often use that technique. Admittedly, it helps that we are immortal.
He inverts his current, taking on a wary tone.
Indeed. This hypothetical threat does seem very high. I can assure you that I will do anything I can to prevent any risk to you. You have my word.
He also 'glances' up.
That is an interesting pattern. If it has served well so far, then it may still hold true. We shall see.
He, in a surprising break of his stoicness, however brief, quietly returns the sigh.
I try to be a good judge of character, myself. Unfortunately, many fail to properly judge my own character. They focus on the fact that I am...alien, and that influences a feeling of distrust in said group. Fortunately, that is not true for an equal amount, which truly sees me as the benevolent supporter that I am. My hopes are also that everything can be resolved peacefully.
He retracts his pseudopod, and faces Wilson once more.
Well, Spirit has brought the Sanctuary with us everywhere we have gone. They have retracted it into the ground, lake, trees, and all, and sent it traveling through the earth until it can rise again when we have reached our destination. Spirit, Kai, and Fury are currently there. It is used as a safe haven, and it was originally created to provide comfort and care to Kai when she was recovering from using the Fragment of the Song. You have spoken to Spirit? That is good, however brief it may have been. Spirit is a nice person. Perhaps you could converse with them some more, later. I know they enjoy talking to people.
Fury blinks.
"...did I lose you, somewhere? Sorry. I guess I got a little carried away in singing my own praises. I get a little cocky sometimes."
He shrugs.
"I guess I'm fine. I can just find a time to clean this. Maybe Shadow's even got access to a change of clothes for me."
He grins back to Leishi.
"True! That's a real fact, there! People say 'perhaps there's a method to the madness' for a reason!"
He blinks, and smirks sheepishly.
"Hey, not that you're mad, of course you aren't! That just came out weird..."
He and Spirit listen to Kai and Leishi's exchange, looking amused. Fury smirks.
"Well, for me, meeting a group of animals as diverse as you is pretty cool."
He smiles modestly, shrugging.
"Hey, you're welcome. I'm just telling the truth. Although, if I've said enough, I understand. Wouldn't want too much praise."
It seems curious that Kai would mention blushing out loud. Where did that come from?
And, hey, more female representation. Presenting more equality in that regard is a nice thing. Certainly wouldn't hurt, and this is coming from a guy whose characters, both active and envisioned, are mostly male.
Spirit and Fury exchange a glance, then Spirit shrugs.
'...okay...as long as it's not anything serious.'

BLUH, life just decided to hit hard this week.
I'll drop a few cubic kilometers of water on Felflame Infernal 2.
3x +1 to talist
As I've conveniently forgotten, I need to actually, you know, do something.
Action Summary:
Hunter switches into Aerial Combat Mode, then fires at Jaraxxus.
I should note, as I forgot to change this, but Aerial Combat Form has a buff called High Speed, that makes 1 in 4 attacks miss. Because you want a reason to change to the other form.
Speed and Fira use Flintlock Burst on, guess who, Jaraxxus.

It's been...quiet for a few days. Does anyone want to discuss anything to break the silence?
Eh, may as well do the stuff I've been meaning to do but haven't been bothered doing.
Sacred: In the Images section of this page you can find an image of the outside of VIXIV and an image of VIX-529. I made the (clearly wrong, not sure why I expected anyone to do it) assumption that... someone looked at the page.
Well. That's out of the way.
Yeah, Galvix. I could tell. You remind me of-
Hello!
Ray. Yes.
For the sake of convenience I have changed the colour scheme of the ship so I can be told apart from people.
The originally White-and-Gold space tank changes to Blue-and-Red. VIXIV was originally White-and-Gold because the Partheon!
Can I come in?
Fine.
The door hasn't even opened before Ray is in.
Guh... Okay. Galvix, Ray. I believe you've been introduced.
Regardless...
In case you don't check, a hemispherical robot with four antennae on the corners who was floating away from the windscreen floats towards Galvix so they can be seen.
I am VIX-529. I am the AI of VIXIV. It is my job to deliver information to Pilots.
They stop for a second.
I can also break into any system in the Kiisan Empire. That is helpful to pilots who need to know anything about the planets they are currently on.
VIX-529 is startled at the preposition of Roman Numerals.
Ha ha, horribly mauled Roman Numerals, but no. That's just the name.
Hunter goes to snark about Galvix's response to his middle name. He doesn't though.
Yes, yes, Lucifer- Wait, really? Heh, I was always thinking my parents gave that to me because they thought I was the devil incarnate and didn't want to make it that obvious.
I mean... they failed in that because they were horribly abusive for six years before the Great War happened.
But Hunter, you weren't born 1906!
Wrong Great War.
The Great Atomic War of 2077. Billions died. It was over in a matter of hours. The World was left in a state of Atomic Wasteland. In Hunter's timeline, it still hasn't recovered.
Yeah! That was fun...
Really?
No. I spent the first 150 years frozen in a Vault. Then I spent 120 years frozen in The Commonwealth. I feel I was lucky to salvage together my weapons that I have.
Galvix's remark on the seats causes a response.
Yeah. Sometimes we needed to traffic fugitives around because they were being wrongly accused by the Emperor who was being corrupted by Super Power Crystals but was secretly a Xenomorph or something like that. It was really weird.
I can not really argue with this summary.
I would hope not. That's the best I can do. Anyway, we needed to keep it comfortable for them. That is how we got our Jetpack, after all.
Ray needs to say something about the Soda machine.
Yeah! I love that kind of sugary-sweet things like Chocolate or Cakes or Soda or other things like that! But Beam doesn't let me have any that often and I can not ever figure out why that is!
I see exactly why. Both of you... I can barely understand Galvix as is...
If you're gonna say something, please don't mumble.
I didn't say anything.
A death glare is shot 529's way.
I told him to stop because most of it was lies. I don't have that kind of money.
Yes you do. Yes you do.
...
I'm gonna let that slide because you're not... wrong. Not exactly right, but not wrong.
You have no credits. All of the work you did was Pro Bono.
Like a god damned lawyer.
Hey! Phoenix is a really nice person! I'm honestly surprised that Maya-
All right, Pearl. I think that's enough of that.
Something about Buttons.
Yeah, I don't even know what half of these buttons do!
I think there would be a manual around somewhere! You should read it sometime! Then you'll know what all of the buttons do!
I do have a manual in the Cargo Hold somewhere.
Of course.
Pushing innumerable unknown buttons is bad. That's why most of them are unlabeled and red.
Doesn't help me know what they do.
No it doesn't.
VIX-529 sees Galvix examining the cables, and while Ray is being ADD looking out windows at things slips Galvix a tablet.
Please don't tell Hunter. VIXIV needs more power than is feasible to power some upgrades on the Tank. Dr. Yamano and I know that messing with SOUL power is incredibly dangerous, but we saw it as a necessary risk to let VIXIV use its full capacity. Hunter doesn't know. We would like to keep it that way so Hunter doesn't freak out about it.
Yeah. Safety First is a primary rule that we have with almost anything... Ray.
Ray zips into a seat somewhere and buckles up.
My question is, are you faster than Light? Both of them?
Galvix's comment about the transformation causes a response from 529.
Yeah, we thought so too when we redesigned VIXIV.
529 and Dr. Yamano. I was... uh... I think I was... oh! I was raiding a drug base and destroying everything for the good of all of whatever world I was in!
Yeah.
Hunter's little shooting game happens.
Yeah! Hunter's really good, regardless of whether Hunter's driving or running! He's a perpetual accuracy machine!
Not quite perpetual, but close enough.
How... how we got all this stuff in the tank?
I don't think that they stole this tank from Doctor Who... though I wouldn't be surprised sometimes.
No. This is all developed on Tetamus II before the Xenomorphs came. The first model ran on Power Crystals and was horribly inefficient. This is the fourth or fifth model now.
So do you have the other models lying around somewhere? Are they still in working order? Oooh, can I have one?
No, no and no. All of the models were built up on the current frame.
Awww...
Sorry, Ray.
Moving on to Rose and Spirit.
Well... I'm sure the ashes and giblets and inane amounts of blood and viscera splattered across the walls won't be doing the environment much good. We've made Ex bleed. His blood merely burned the ground and killed all the plants and animals that weren't us in a fifty meter radius. I pity the guy who'd have to clean up that mess.
Comments about the darker side of nature.
Ex really would deserve everything he would have coming. Overwhelming emotions cause most people to act... rashly. I'm not saying that Overkill wouldn't be what Ex deserved. Yeah. The Darkest Parts Of Nature are potentially the scariest forces around.
I think I saw Shadow do that once. I'm pretty sure Fira would've, especially after Ex showed his atrocious, literally bloodstained, harrowing face. If I remember correctly from a read, Ex even impersonated Shadow.
And we'll all be there with you. But calling Ex a monster is an insult to monsters. I've personally met a couple of monsters thanks to Hunter, and they were some of the nicest... people... I've ever... met... I think I'm talking about the wrong Monsters, but the allegory still stands.
I understand that kind of transformation. My sister, Shine, gains a rusty look if she gets ill. It gets worse if the gets really sick. She's the Elder Goddess of Metals if that bothers you.
Correction, no it's not, I've still got a fair bit to go.
Hey, 529? What was that about upgrades?
Didn't I tell you? Huh. Well, we've added the capacity to transfer into Aerial Combat Mode on a whim, and from there, we can create a tunnel around a planet to avoid attacks or increase the strength of the shielding, allowing for a powerful ramming attack.
We get to fly!?
Uh, yeah. How do I do that?
Push the glowing orange button with the X-Wing on it.
X-Wing? Why?
They fly in space!
Uh... yeah. Basically.
Okay. I'm gonna get flying.
I'm really really excited! I can't wait to get flying!
Hunter slams the button with far too much force.
It didn't do anything.
Do I need to explain this? Drive!
Okay, I was being sarcastic.
Hunter drives faster than before. A massive jet extends form the back. Four fins are on the corners of it.
Let's go.
They go fast.
Hunter pulls up. They're flying now.
Oooohhhh...
What's... What could be so exciting? We're just in the air. I don't see it, what could be so exciting.
We're flying...
Guh... okay.
Which one was the radio button?
The blue one.
Okay. Here we go...
Welcome back everyone to 981.5, Hunter's Picks! This is a radio station where we play all of Hunter Wright's favorite songs!
This... this was a thing?
So, we're gonna play Moving in the Dark by Neon Trees! Here we go!
Hmph. Let's rock.
Hunter fires away a Jaraxxus, perfectly slamming him with a tri-shot with all three bullets.
Perfect.
As usual.
Huh. Well. Speed and Fira have a little bit.
Earlier...
Oh! Hey! Can I go and sit in Hunter's tank?
I mean... I know Hunter, so I don't see why not. Go ahead.
Yaaaayyy!
You... do know that Hunter has a massive soda and snack machine in there?
What.
Yeah... he does.
Ray! Come back!
He's gone.
Yes. Guh... I hope Hunter has enough sensibility not to let him eat or drink anything.
He would.
Anyway, let's get something done!
Speed creates a massive stone from the ground. Fira covers it in fire. Then she creates a spark, causing it to break into several smaller pieces. Speed launches them all at Jaraxxus. It's like a massive Flintlock Rifle Shotgun thing. It's massive.
I think that was it.

Well... I kinda wanted to post this with an action... but it's been long enough.
short OOC stuff to Spirit
Uh... Sorry. I didn't mean to bring actual religion into this.
I didn't mean that Inari was a combination of Cynder and Wilson's personalities (they are designed to be foils of each other), I meant that she was between them in terms of weirdness. ... Her speech quirk will probably just come off as awkward sentence structure.
/RPNULL FOR MIKOTO AND CO!
Alright... that will probably be useful for Cynder.
Mikoto frowns, looking annoyed at everyone's insistent literal interpretations of everything.
It's a metaphor... I don't care how strong your armor is; it's better to not get hit in the first place. I suppose you considerej me an 'aggressife' target based on whatefer Cynder told you. Fair enough.
Mikoto looks away slightly.
The problem with fery hard materials, like diamond, is that they're brittle. But if you're going to try and prefent open conflict between me and Inari, I'm sure both of us would appreciate the security.
In Minecraft, pickaxes should deal more damage against people in full diamond. Well, if we want realism, anyway.
He sighs, thinking.
Oh, for the times hate was that ofert. Neither me nor Inari wants to fight the other fair because we're similar in strength and might kill each other. Plus, in a direct fight, both of us hafe allies we can call on, efen though we are not sure who exactly those allies are. Neither me nor Inari wants to get our friends hurt or killed in a fight like that. ... That, is my armor. I can't assure that I'd win against Inari, but I can assure that she won't like winning, and so won't try.
Mikoto then stops for a while in thought.
But for your offer, being royalty means nothing for me. I don't want to be around other people for any longer than I hafe to. I wouldn't efen be here if I didn't hafe an 'escape plan' in case one of you... attacked me... Plus...
He freezes completely and stares down at the ground mournfully for about 15 seconds, totally silent. He seemed stuck in his weird paralysis until he eventually looks up with a conflicted expression.
I'm not sure I efen want asylum at this point. ... There's... sort of... another reason I came here; it's riskier. This... oh so idiotic stand off between... me and Inari... It shoulj end at some point... It has to. ... ... Maybe it would be best if... best if I... ... *ugh*...
It looked like he was going to say something else, but thought better of it.
——————————————————
With yet more literal interpretation, Mikoto just looks down and puts a paw over his eyes, but with his paw not quite touching his face.
Mikoto's isn't in the same mood as he is when he's talking to Speed because those two conversations aren't happening at the exact same time.
Okay then. You take eferything literally. My sarcasm failed twice.
I'm honestly not sure how to reply to that because I have no idea what my character's relation should be to their 'source material'. It's the worst for Mikoto and Inari, not so much for anyone else because they're (for the most part) just named after a character and don't share a ton of qualities with said character. ... So... uh... yeah...
I'm willing to share the reason. Inari would kill me or my sister, and it's only a matter of time before she efentually does. I'm lying to her to stall; my borrowed time. But if you want me to ask my own questions, I'll just ask this...
He takes a deep breath.
Hafe you seen Wilson or Inari recently? And hafe you done any sort of dealings with either? Although, I'm not sure if Wilson is actually working with Inari.
He sighs, sounding exacerbated by everything.
Stalking... maybe. Yes. You can blame me for that. Or you can count it as self defense. And my sister...
At that, his voice turns sadder.
She's more like my adopted sister. Her name is Gail, and I'm paranoid for her. She can't really fend for herself, but she's still the brafest person I know. ... That I'fe efer known.
Then he backs away slightly, not wanting to be too close to anyone for too long.
I didn't intend for that to be a description of you. It was to describe Inari. I'm not sure if she'll try to illusion herself. But if Cynder trusts you enough for her protection, I hafe no problem with that, but I won't be joining her. I can take care of myself.
That seemed like inconsistent logic. He trusted Cynder's judgement when it came to her own safety, but didn't trust her for his own protection.
I don't know how Inari would attack me or Cynder, but it won't be anything direct. I wouldn't expect less. Oh and yes. The problem is that Inari would be willing to hafe a 'rational' discussion. I wouljn't. I don't want to be too close to her, and that fear won't be banished by any number of guards, because it's not fear for my immediate safety.
He grunts absentmindedly, not seeming to care what Cyndi called herself. Then, he states it directly.
Cynder was random. The name. It doesn't matter what she calls herself.
Mikoto hadn't been looking directly at Neo, but when he notices the offer for a handshake, he nimbly jumps backwards as though Neo was going to stab him. Realizing the actual intention, he briefly holds up one paw vertically in a salutation, but doesn't take the handshake.
Oh, hello then. My... apologies, but please don't touch me. I... hafe seferal powerful wards actife, and I don't want to reapply them.
However, the pauses in that seemed wrong. Oh, and if either of you uses some sort of detect magic on him, yes. He does have magic active around him, but either it's not very much, or he's somehow hidden it from detection. Hearing Neo's assessment, he stays completely silent and still for a while, possibly trying harder to hide his freezing up. Eventually, he does respond.
It's not... hypocrisy because I fully expect Inari to try the same thing. It woulj be if I tried telling Inari not to. ... I'fe nefer actually seen Wilson in person, and all I know about him is through either scrying or indirect sources. ... Maybe... it would be best...
He stops, looking reminiscent about something. The words 'detached view of the world and yet be so positive about it' seemed to a cause a reaction in him, but he kept silent about it. Hearing Neodyme's actual name, he looks up.
Oh. Hello then Neodyme. And no, those four syllables do not change my answer. They're arbitrary. It only makes you slightly more accountable, and I don't know why you want to be accountable to me. That seems pointless. And maybe you'll say I don't trust enough. But if I hafe a choice, there's nothing you can say that will make me trust you. I can't be betrayed by someone I nefer trusted.
——————————————————————————————
Cynder continues to stumble a little closer to Neo, the invisibility making every step feel awkward for her. Eventually, she decides that she's close enough and carefully lies down on her side in the grass, tucking in her wings and legs close to herself.
... Okay then... Well, why? Is there a particular... reason for it?
When asked about her own health, Cyndi stretches out her wings slightly and tries to look over herself, but can't see herself.
I... don't think I am hurt too much. It has been a while, and Mikoto helped... with it. My chest hurts, but I do not... know if that is a cut or if I'm bleeding. Or... maybe I'm bruised.
She dabs at her chest, but doesn't feel any blood. Breathing heavily, Cynder puts a foot over her eyes and seems to grab her nose.
Tea? ah...
She stares down at the grass, trying to calm herself down.
... Okay... If you want to, because I obviously cannot keep my own emotions in check. ... It's... embarrassing... I shouldn't- should not be like this...
———————————————-
And now, the reason I actually wanted Cynder to be invisible...
Also, Inari wouldn't have just shouted that to everyone because she knows Mikoto is around here.
Mikoto sighs and starts backing up.
If Inari gets close to here, I'm leafing, no m-
As he takes another step backwards, there's a surprised growl from Cynder and Mikoto stumbles to the side as the footing below him gets pulled out from under him like a rug. Instinctively, Cyndi stands up and tries to look over herself for where Mikoto had stepped on her wing, but couldn't.
Clarification: Mikoto was walking backwards, but didn't realize that Cyndi was lying down and had stretched her wings out across the grass, so he stepped on her wing and Cynder then pulled it out from under him.
Recovering physically faster than mentally, Mikoto stands up again to look around, then realizes what happened.
- ... Huh? My apologies Cynder. Was that you?
After taking a few steps away from Mikoto, Cyndi stopped again.
... I am fine. ... I was more surprised than hurt. You are... very light, actually.
————————————————-
@Piono: I hope I can have Inari talk to Light for a bit, then go find Wilson and 'link' that to one of your guys.
Inari has her head tilted up towards the sun with her eyes closed, as though the sun gave off a cool, pleasant breeze. But as Light arrives, Inari quickly turns her head towards him, causing her necklace to clink against her armor. It was an odd necklace, not a gem or an amulet, but instead it was a lifeless mechanical bat with a wire strung through it, its minuscule gears and springs having long since rusted. The bat barely had a texture to it and seemed to bend light around it, making it hard to see directly.
It's nice how Light, your character with gold text, is talking to Inari, my character with gold text. Same goes for Fury and Leishi, although to be honest I'm not sure why Leishi's text color is red. I think it used to be blue or something.
Oh! Greetings!
She turns to face Light properly and spikes her right paw upwards into the air in a sort of short lived vertical wave.
It didn't take long to meet someone here. Though, not who I expected to first see. That is not a title, more a... catchphrase I suppose. My name is Inari, and I will try to hopefully not be too bothersome now. I'm looking for someone named Wilson here, and I decided to help out.

There's a Youtube Channel... I do some stuff with it...Anti Ninja
DISCLAIMER: I am writing this on a plane, some information I have put a reminder, but if I missed like an action that is pretty small, or some numbers on an ability that you never ever use for 20 rounds or something, I can't check.
tl;dr I'm making more mistakes than usual because I'm updating in a plane.
—
(@Inari: K.)
Madness is activated.
Talist commands Uther to whack an Infernal for 5000. Inari uses her Shining Lance and kills that Infernal, and gains 2 Vanadium. Leishi uses her Resonant Cycle and one-hits the other Infernal. She also recovers some Chi and restores 10000 HP. Talist uses the Deicide Slayer Emblem which is delayed because I don't remember what it does, dealing 60000 damage to Jaraxxus, and restoring 5000 HP to every AG Entity.
Infinity attacks Jaraxxus with his Whitesnake Disc, dealing 12000 damage. Blastoise uses Hydro Pump on Jaraxxus, dealing 24000 damage. The Anti-God Machine stabs Jaraxxus for 14000 damage because damage roundup. The D4C uses High Voltage on Jaraxxus, dealing 42000 damage.
Hank uses Dakka, dealing 12000 damage to all PGs. Which is basically only Jaraxxus because you guys tear through them like nothing. John's Do The Windy Thing is on cooldown, so he whacks Jaraxxus for 4200 instead. Piono then uses his Free Action to unload bullets on Jaraxxus's face, dealing 6000 damage.
Shadow attacks Jaraxxus for 6000 because the Infernals are dead. Light shines a bright light at the Godmodder to distract him. The Godmodder tries to retaliate, but is dodged by Light. Spirit heals the 765 Pro for 2 HP. Arkus attacks Jaraxxus for 6000 because the Infernals are dead. Galvix heals himself in the VIXIV. Neo attacks Jaraxxus for 6000 because the Infernals are dead. The Brontosaurus attacks Jaraxxus for 12000 because the Infernals are dead. The Guardian finally does something and... burrows...
Solar commands The Greens to use Quake, dealing 18000 damage to Jaraxxus. Fiztgerald throws 100$ to deal... 60 damage to Jaraxxus. It was 1$ for 0.5 damage, right? Solar plays his Golden Lute and boosts the next attack.
Hunter switches to his Aerial Combat Form and fires at Jaraxxus for 3600 damage. (Well, I won't add that miss chance. Using your other abilities is incentive enough, right?) Speed and Fira uses Flintlock Burst on Jaraxxus for 14000 damage.
—
End of turn:
Jaraxxus melees Mega Charizard X for 24000 damage.
Jaraxxus channels a Fel Fireball at Valentine. Valentine will take some damage unless 3 actions are dedicated to stop the cast.
I'm getting information on his HP thresholds. If he gets below 3 million HP, he will start casting a free Nether Power every other turn and the Godmodder will require two actions to interrupt. If he gets below 2.5 million HP, he will cast a free summoning spell every other turn.
You guys are probably getting reinforcements soon, though.
The Fel Volcano summons it's last Infernal and wounds GWing. Usual stuff happens. You guys really need to use the Gods.

Mass Drain should be at 2/7.
Time to disappear!
I guess I'll interrupt again. In the meantime, Blastoise, use Dragon Pulse on that Infernal!
I try to interrupt Jaraxxus's casting. Blastoise uses Dragon Pulse on the Infernal. The Anti-God Machine uses Phase Distortion. D4C smacks a PG.
Charge reservoir: 56/whatever (+2 from emblem, +1 from Talist, +1 from Speed) I'm thinking of making it be an entity.
+1 to Talist, +1 to Consumer, +1 to Speed

@Talist: Okay then, I'll be waiting. Not a whole lot of RP worthy stuff is going on for me right now.
Double attack, Do the Windy Thing
DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes??: 47/? (Gods.) Hint: —
??: 4/? (Gods.) Hint: —
Entity Pool: 40
Actions:
Shadow:
Shadow tries to distract Jaraxxus from using the fireball, firing a charged blast from the Pummel Gun, and being ready to dodge any retaliation.
Light:
Light attempts to blind Jaraxxus, preventing him from casting the fireball.
Spirit:
Spirit channels their powers, and causes a storm to fall upon Jaraxxus, in an attempt to put out the fireball. Said storm then shifts to tossing hail, for added pain.
Arkus:
Arkus channels a shield spell, trying to protect his allies from harm.
Galvix:
Galvix, not able to do anything, continues relaxing.
Neo:
Neo launches a flurry of metal shards at the Godmodder, trying at least to distract him. He covers himself in a metal shell and prepares to evade a counterattack.
Brontosaurus:
The Brontosaurus charges the Infernal, trying to knock it over.
The Guardian:
The Guardian reappears from the ground, using his ambush bonus to strike at the Infernal, using his Venom.
Plus three to Talist.
Sorry, RP Partners, I got caught up playing Skyrim. I'll try tomorrow.

So the Felflame Infernal drives its car into the car wash, but then, realizes that I had sabotaged the car so that the windows were STUCK OPEN! MUA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

There's a Youtube Channel... I do some stuff with it...Anti Ninja denied. Not enough people.
Welp. Time for a GM talk, I guess, since we're near the end. I'm starting high school tommorow, so things might be sloppier than it is now.
This is definitely the most un DtG like DtG session in the history of DtG ever. Probably because I never actually play the main DtG sessions. I'm not the person for this job.

/RPNull:
@Talist: ...and I was rambling again...sorry. I tend to get carried away.
Ah, I see. Well, I kinda' got that, save for my brief period of confusion.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Hm. Alright, then. Yeah, it's slightly later.
Neo 'blinks', pausing for a moment, and then appears sheepish.
Ah. I have been told that before. I am more literal-minded than my siblings, and that fact can cause difficulties in social situations.
Again, I tend to ramble when I notice something. Sorry about that. ...if it's a problem, of course.
Neo appears concerned, pulsing with a slight red glow.
So she poses a threat to the lives of you and your sister...that is highly concerning. I do not wish anyone to be actively seeking out the death of anyone else. Hopefully, if our attempts to end this nonviolently succeed, your days will not be as numbered as they appear to you.
He revolves to the right, thinking. Seeing no danger in answering truthfully, after a bit of hesitation, he 'nods' his eyelights.
Affirmative. I have spoken to Wilson. Yet, taking into account your initial intentions for him, I am hesitant to speak more on the subject without trusting that you will not misuse the information. Though, I will say that I cannot recall any alleged 'dealings' that we may have made.
He revolves to the left, now, his pattern inverting.
Stalking is not much of a commendable behavior, but, as you admit it, some of the initial damage is lessened. I take it that, from your words, you say you ordered that action in self-defense. From that, I draw the conclusion that you were worried about Wilson possibly making an action against you, correct?
His gaze softens.
I see. So, Gail means very much to you, and you would do anything to secure her safety? That is a commendable goal, even if you initially sought to achieve it through reprehensible means. As for Gail, she sounds like a very good person.
Mildly perplexed, he pauses his motion cycle altogether for a short while, blinking, then continues, appearing a bit sheepish.
I...see. Again, I have misread your words. Anyway, you say that you are unsure if she will try to hide her appearance. If you wished, I could keep watch for anyone that operates under a veil of illusory energies, be it Magical or Scientific. Regarding Cynder, I know that my siblings and I could provide more protection than if she were to be left to fend for herself.
He appears a bit confused, cycling his pattern diagonally.
Are you certain about that decision? It seems...illogical. You trust your ward's judgement of my character, but you yourself do not trust said judgement enough to accompany her? I can promise that my siblings' protection is nothing to be concerned about at all.
He listens intenty, taking on a pattern that, for all intents and purposes, appears to be the 'loading hourglass' cursor, periodically flipping over to refresh the little light-points of 'sand'.
Indirect attack is sometimes useful, while, at other times, it can be a risky gambit.
He appears confused, and this time his light pattern assumes the shape of a question mark.
Strange...it is you that would not agree to a conversation? That would seem like the most logical way to avoid hostilities. If it is not because you are worried for your own safety, then why would you decline that course of action?
He reassumes his usual pattern, slowly cycling through colors. He spins in a gentle horizontal circle.
I see. So you do not care what her chosen name is. I suppose that, since any of those names is an alias, what matters is that her true name does not get revealed to the wrong people, correct?
Neo retracts his tendril, looking confused. He blinks, and then makes an audible sigh.
''That is alright. I was merely trying to practice the social skills my siblings encourage me to learn. Given that, without an Avatar, I am insubstantial in this disembodied state, your paw would have likely passed through me, anyway, were I to not have utilized control over Gravity or Kinetic energy. Anyway, hello. And you have ward spells set up? Would those at all be affected my an incorporeal touch?
His eyelights flash very faintly as he detects the active magic. A faint look of curiosity sets in, but, aside from discreetly monitoring the energy, he doesn't show any response, trying to keep the focus on the topic at hand.
So, since you expect Inari to use underhanded tactics like that, you therefore justify your own action of using those methods. I have always found assassination, while admittedly an...effective tactic, to be not that morally-rewarding, compared to meeting your enemy face-to-face, and perhaps even attempting negotiation.
He appears puzzled.
...what would be best?
Curious at Mikoto's reaction, he tilts his eyelights to the side, then replies.
...did anything I said stir up a memory, or something similar? Anyway, that is unfortunate. I would hope to gain your trust, since I actively seek those that would appear to require help. When one helps others, not only does it benefit the one who is helped, but the helper, too and everyone else around them, as well. I can fully assure you that I would not think of betraying you, because, given what I have gathered from our discussion, apart from some negative past actions, and a light case of minor paranoia, I find you completely trustworthy.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Neo tilts his eyelights, looking mildly confused.
A reason for what, exactly? My disembodied state? To be completely honest, I had left my Avatar behind because I had wished to check on you, and I did not care at that moment to be seen by anyone beforehand. I apologize if making that remark sparks any inconvenience.
He gives a small horizontal spin, listening to Cynder's assessment of her condition.
I see. I could check for any injuries or conditions, if you wished. That way, I could try to diagnose the cause of your chest pain. It occurs to me that the obscurity your invisibility provides extends to your own sense of sight. Being able to perceive the invisible, I would be able to aid in that regard.
He 'nods', glancing to the Sanctuary.
Alright. I shall be contacting Arkus and Spirit shortly, then. Spirit knows the best herbs to grow, and Arkus has perfected the most effective technique to blend and brew them. Besides easing stress, the herbal tea is also good for relieving pain, so it is doubly effective for soothing strained nerves.
He does his best at a sympathetic look. ...it's not that great. One has to give him credit, though, as it shows more concern than his usual neutrality.
It is not good to always be so hard on yourself. Excessive stress can be detrimental to one's health. I do not see a reason to be so embarrassed. My siblings, especially Spirit and Fury, are prone to showing strong emotion. I have my own emotions and convictions, as well, though, as an admittedly alien entity, I tend not to outwardly show them in the same manner.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Neo flinches back as Mikoto trips over Cynder, blinking. He traces a slight circle around Cynder, before speaking to her.
I could try to find where he stepped on you, if you wished.
He rotates horizontally, his eyelights switching places.
It is good to hear that you are not too hurt, though.
He freezes, Cynder's end statement catching his attention. He turns to face Mikoto, returning to his default position.
...very light? I would take Panthers such as him to be quite heavy. How curious.
Don't forget Neo and Mikoto. They both use gray. Oh, and Light and Inari both use Light powers, too.
When Light touches down, he immediately notices the necklace when it clinks, looking curious. He glances back up to Inari, listening to her. He offers a friendly smile.
"Ah. Well, I'm always curious about new arrivals, especially when they have some connection to Elemental Light."
He gives a small, respectful bow.
"It is nice to meet you, Inari My name's Light, you see. I am the Aspect...of Light. Not too original, I know, but my twin brother's the Aspect of Darkness, and he's named Shadow, so we kind of got our thematic style of naming from him. He's the eldest out of my siblings."
He tilts his head.
"Oh, you want to see Wilson? Why didn't you just say so? One of my brothers was chatting with him earlier. One moment, please."
He spreads his wings, and leaps into the air, hovering. He surveys the area, looking for Wilson and Neo's positions, then lands back in the same spot, looking back to Inari.
"Well, apparently, my brother's done talking to Wilson for now, and he's talking to some other people. Anyway..."
He looks back at her necklace, clasping his hands.
"...I couldn't help but notice your necklace...is that a...mechanical bat? Is there a story behind that...interesting choice of adornment?"
placeholder. probably. yeah, this is less dtg than most sessions.
Life and Death (22/75) (+13: +3 Speed, +4 Infinity, +6 Emblem)
Anti Ninja
Sorry, Consumer. Can't hang this more than once.
Infinity tries to interrupt Jaraxxus's Fel Fireball. Blastoise uses Dragon Pulse on the new Infernal, dealing 15000 damage to it. The Anti-God Machine uses Phase Distortion, granting him 2 turns of Immunity. The D4C attacks Jaraxxus for 10000.
Hank and Piono's characters attack Jaraxxus for 10000. John Does the Windy Thing and deals 14000 damage to the Infernal and 50000 damage to Jaraxxus because cheese protection.
Shadow and Light interrupts the Fel Fireball, while Sacred attacks him for 5000. Arkus puts up a shield. Galvix continues to relax and heals himself. (Well, he could just get out, right?) Neo throws shards of metals to distract the Godmodder. The Brontosaurus knocks out the Infernal. The Guardian reappears and attacks Jaraxxus for 50000. Unfortunately, Jaraxxus is immune to the venom.
Ping enters the battlefield. Welcome, new player. Grab a cup of tea and 'help us with this final boss''.
Uther uses Wave of Light and heals himself, Charizard, Blastoise, Valentine, and Godzilla for 5000 each. Inari uses her Shining Lance on Jaraxxus, dealing 28000 damage. Leishi uses Tremor and does 10000 damage to Jaraxxus. Talists pities the Dead Infernal. Side Quest, maybe?
—
End of Turn:
Jaraxxus's Fel Fireball is cancelled.
An airship then enters the battlefield and aims it's cannons at Jaraxxus.
Fire!
A shot is fired from the cannon at Jaraxxus. 300000 damage! Figured you guys will need some help. Admiral Amaria ready for combat!
Jaraxxus then retaliates at the Portlight, dealing 20000 damage to it.
Jaraxxus casts a Nether Portal, summoning a Mistress of Pain in 3 turns.
Jaraxxus casts his free Nether Power, which increases his non-melee damage by 20%.
The Godmodder will now require two actions to interrupt.
Usual stuff happens.

yeah. double-stalled updates are pure evil.
If I don't have time, Kathryn taps Jaraxxus, causing him to explode in pain. As in, explode like TNT. While Xcano is using explosives.
Fun times.
Life and Death (23/75) +2 to Infinity and +1 to Speed

I kill Lord Jaraxxus with 100 biggatons of TNT.
Follow my Tumblr.?: 55/? (Talist, Gods, error.) Hint: —
??: 11/? (Gods, error.) Hint: —
Entity Pool: 40
Actions:
Shadow:
Shadow sends a swarm of shadowy black bat-shaped energy constructs, which immediately streak toward the Godmodder's face in an attempt to distract him.
Light:
Light casts a healing spell, focusing on himself, Shadow, and the Guardian.
Spirit:
Spirit heals the Guardian, and attempts to boost his attack by imbuing him with Natural energy.
Arkus:
Arkus attempts to heal and boost Mega Charizard X.
I'm having trouble managing the Aspects as is. I wouldn't be able to manage the Gods. Someone should let them act, though.
Galvix:
(^_^)
Neo:
Neo molds nearby metal wreckage into the shape of a large metal sphere, then smashes it with a large metal beam, sending it hurtling toward Jaraxxus. After that hits, he hits him with the beam, too.
Brontosaurus:
The Brontosaurus tries to trample Jaraxxus.
The Guardian:
The Guardian attempts to trip Jaraxxus, then strikes at his ankle with his fangs.
Plus three to Talist.

Phase Distortion should have been at 1/10, Firewall should've been at 5/5, Mana Laser should have been at 4/7, Mass Drain should have been at 3/7, High Voltage should have been at 2/4, and Contract should have been at 8/10 in this update. If it's too much for you, I can keep track of my own cooldowns.
And, from beyond reality, I will now... Support us all? Eh, whatever.
Man, I wish Blastoise had Rain Dance right now. Anyway, use Ice Beam!
I have Blastoise use Ice Beam on Jaraxxus, I use my final Whitesnake Disc on Jaraxxus, the Anti-God Machine uses Firewall (which, by the way, should be ready by now) on itself, Kathryn, and Blastoise, and D4C kicks a PG.
Charge reservoir: 60/whatever (+2 from emblem, +1 from Talist) I'm thinking of making it be an entity. And I may or may not make it be a walking Queen reference.
+1 to Talist, +1 to Consumer, +1 to Speed
(Apparently, I forgot to actually press send and update the End of Turn.)
Good job, me. +10 to everyone.
(Side note: That means no update today.)

That's alright, Tabbune. I make mistakes all the time. We've all been there.

/RPNull:
Galvix snickers, flashing a carefree grin.
"What,really? Well,That'sAlright,CallMeKidIfYouWantTo. I'mPerfectlyFineWithIt. IMayBeManyManyManyManyTimesYourElder,ButI'mStillOneOfTheYoungestAspects. IMean,Can'tYouTellByMyPersonality? Neo'sCloseToMeInFigurativeAge. WeMayAsWellBeTwins,SinceWe'reSimilar,ThoughSometimesWeCouldn'tSeemFurtherApart! Anyway,SinceIAwakenedSecondToLastOutOfUs,AndIHaveSuchAnEnergeticPersonality,TheOthersSometimesCallMeKid. EvenFury,And,HeMayBeOlderThanMe,ButHe'sDefinitelyUpThereWithMeInImmaturity!"
He hears VIX-529, and rapidly glances around, a '!' forming from sparks above his head with an accompanying noise.
"Huh,What? Who'sTalking? IDon'tKnowWhoYouAre!"
He blinks, and hesitates, eventually answering.
"...I'mGalvix. I'mTheAspectOfElectricity. Who'reYou,VIX? DoesThatStandForAnything? 'CauseIKnowVixOrXivIsRomanNumeralsFor14,AndVixivOrXviiiIsRomanNumeralsFor18."
He nods to Hunter.
"Okay,IGotIt.YouGotSomeoneWhoCanTakeOverIfThatHappens.That'sGood."
He blinks, and smirks.
"Woah,YourMiddleNameIsLucifer? Well,YourEntireNameSeemsTailorMadeForMaximumAppeal! NowI'mJealous! AllWeAspectsHaveIsAMononym,AndSpirit'sGotAFullThreeWordTitle,ButThat'sAll!"
He glances around, and smiles.
"ThereAreSoManySeatsAroundHere! ThisIsPrettyPlushForATank!"
His eyes light up with joy, and he grins.
"Ooh,AndStateOfTheArtBeverageServices! It'sABitHardForMeToDrink,BeingLivingLightningAndAll,ButI'veBeenGettingTheHangOfIt! AllOfUsAspectsDon'tNeedToEat,ButWeCanInOrderToConvertItToEnergy! ILoveCoffeeAndSweetThings,ButTheOthersDon'tLetMeHaveItThatOften."
He seems confused at Hunter's interruption of VIX.
"Why'dYouTellHimToBeQuiet? IWasCurious!"
He glances around, and his eyes light up when he sees the control panel. He gives a grin of pure childlike wonder.
"Ooh,SoManyButtons! IWonderWhatTheyAllDo? IReallyWanna'PressThem,ButIProbablyShouldn't,ButIWantToAnyway,ButIWon't!"
He nods, looking a bit pouty.
"Ah...yeah. LikeISaid. ITotallyWasn'tGoingToPushAnyButtons."
He spots the cables, looking curious. He leans in for a closer look, tilting his head. He decides to get a closer look, inspecting them. He closes his eyes, seeking out the energy. Figuring out what is is, his eyes snap open, and he looks surprised, muttering quickly and quietly to himself.
"OhMan,SoulPower? That'sRiskyStuff...Yeesh,IShouldKnow...ThatUniverseIsCrazy...IHopeHeKnowsWhatHe'sDoing..."
No idea who Buckley is, either. And the Mistress is dead.
He nods to Hunter, and quickly zips to one of the seats close to him, strapping in.
"Right,SafetyFirst. Though,I'mCompletelyUsedToHighSpeeds. IRaceSpeedsters,AfterAll. SuperSpeedIsOneOfMyPrimaryPowers,SinceThere'sNotMuchFasterThanLightning!"
He watches the transformation of the cannon, looking excited.
"Ooh,That'sSoCool!"
But,really, the Mistress is dead.
He excitedly laughs as the VIXIV streaks forward, enjoying the ride. His eyes glitter with amazement as he watches Hunter land a shot on his own missiles.
"Oooooooooh,That'sGoodShooting!"
He tilts his head.
"Well,ForTheFirstPart...HowDoYouGetAllThisTechInOneTank? IsItGallifreyan,OrAtLeastGallifreyan-Influenced,Maybe?"
At that shout from Rose, Spirit pauses, then blinks, their leaves lowering a bit.
'Like...turn him...into a tree? ...why. When I've gone feral, I've already become wild and tree-like, myself. My blood's already sap or chlorophyll, and my skin right now is plant material, and it hardens into bark when I show my feral side. If you've at all familiar with the Spriggans
◊ of Skyrim, or the Dryads
◊ of Faerun, you'd have a pretty fair idea what that'd look like. you know, tough bark for skin, razor-sharp claws, wild, lush foliage...I embody the most vicious side of Nature. ...I don't really like that part of myself.'
S/he glances down.
'I mean, I'd totally say .EXE deserves anything I'd do to him in that state, but, if I let my feral side out, which tends to happen when my emotions reach a critical point, I get...unpredictable. I can mostly keep enough control to only single out enemies, but then I can be a bit...merciless. Darkest parts of Nature, indeed...'
S/he nods.
'Shadow's actually got a few different kinds of ominous eyes. His eyes glow violet when he's on edge, they turn red when he's really angry, and, if he's completely removing all restraints, they flat out ignite in either of those colors. He shares the flaming eyes with Fury.'
S/he nods again, looking darkly determined.
'If I must, then I shall. I know my brothers'd be right there in helping me. People like .EXE, no, monsters like .EXE need to be brought down, for the sake of all that is Good in the world.'
S/he then blinks.
'Well, apart from the hints of my feral side, I don't really have emotion-based transitions. My appearance does represent my health, though. If I'm sick or dehydrated, I tend to lose color or even wilt a bit.' I have to say, your seasonal changes are pretty interesting, though.
Aaaand Speed's part is done. About time. That's two days, right there.
