Well... none of my characters have 4th wall 'powers'; they just do it because I think it's funny.

Wondering somewhat about whether Light producing light for Spirit was some kind of violation of the law of conservation of energy, Kai tilts her head and asks Spirit,

So is the sunlight like a drink or something—more flavor than substance? And... I don't know a lot about biology, but I wouldn't call it parasitic. That's... uh... If that counts as parasitic, then wouldn't I be considered parasitic as well? That doesn't seem right. I don't think your... 'draining' as you call it, doesn't seem that different from just eating something.

Now on the ground, Kai looks up at Spirit, her ears folding down more.

However, then her expression turns to confusion as she hears the Guardian.

While Kai is listening to Fury and Spirit, some of their excitement rubs off on her.

Yeah! This... was the better choice! ... But uh... could someone pull me up? It's rather hard for me to climb up things right now...

To clarify this, if you hold your right arm out and tilt your wrist up at around a 70 degree angle, that's about how Kai's paw is stuck because it stopped working when she was standing on the ground. So she can walk (mostly) fine, but climbing and fighting is much harder for her. ... As is anything that requires her to tilt her paw.

Anyway, it would be kinda pointless to describe again what Kai does during the flight. But she does say,

I don't like the descent just because I can see the ground. ... It's a contradiction. I don't feel like I'm high up when I can't see the ground, but when we go lower, I feel like I'm higher up.

And back on the ground, she meets the Guardian's eyes, declaring,

Yeah! That was fun a- ahhhh... whoa...

She staggers to the side and she says that, tilting her head down again.

I'm dizzy... Maybe I shouldn't... have closed my eyes during that spiral.

However, then she shakes her head and looks up at Fury, smiling.

Heh... Well... it's kinda like a lack of a style. But sure. We'll have super saiyan hair together. I'll... be confidant. I just hope that my fur doesn't get too dirty like this. That would be difficult to wash out.

Despite Spirit's attempts to comfort her, Kai keeps her eyes on the ground, clearly upset and afraid.

... ... I feel terrible... I don't like it when I get angry. I don't... feel like I know what I'm... going to do... ... I guess shouting at him wasn't so bad... I mostly... kept control of myself. But sometimes I feel like I might... ... might...

She trails off there. Looking up, she meets Spirit's eyes before saying,

Making good on that offer, Kai leans her head against Spirit's shoulder.

... Thank you... ... I don't blame you for getting angry... not at all... not at all... Thank you... I definitely will... fight alongside you...

@Speed: Can hurt people like Talist? Do you literally mean me, sitting in front of this laptop and listening to Enter the Gungeon runs? ... Uh... no. Sorry, but no thanks. I refuse to involve 'me' as a character because that's a disaster waiting to happen. Plus, it would be just weird and kinda stupid because there's no way I'm using my real name, so there would be 3 Talists. The closest thing you'll get to 'me' (or at least, the more idealist view of myself) is Wilson. To clarify something, the Talist on the battlefield is an avatar of Talist, the character, who is off at Yellowstone. So no, I'm not going to feel like I'm dying. I've already finished all my AP tests.

Cynder hears Hank and Wilson speaking, but not what exactly they were saying. But knowing it was some kind of doubting against her, she sighs and just waits for Wilson. Eventually, Wilson does come over and starts walking alongside her.

She dismisses the question rather quickly.

   I don’t like dark, enclosed spaces, especially when I’m alone.   

Wilson didn’t think it was that dark or that enclosed, but she seemed honest about it and Wilson would have different standards of what ‘dark’ and ‘enclosed’ would mean.

Let's do an action.

I grab that large mirror from Futurama, you know, the one that was supposed to stop global warming, and station it above the battlefield for a little while. It's a massive orbital mirror that blocks out enough sun to put a country in shadows. So, it blocks out the sunlight in the battlefield for a little while, draining Superman of precious Solar Power. And if Superman tries to get out from under the mirror's effects, the entire thing tilts over, falls from orbit, and crushes him. So, I want this to be 'choose to lose either HP or Solar Power.' Maybe it will work.

Kathryn activates her Emnlem becoming immune and getting two extra attacks next turn.

GWing casts Heal 2 on John and heals him for one stage. Despite it being named Heal 2, the rules just doesn't want you to heal for two. Also, I never tasted blood. Does using a magnet on blood work?

Infinity takes a sip of his replicated beer and gains a crit. The D 4 C randomly backflip-kicks Superman for 7000 damage.

Piono attacks Zeus with a completely regular basic attack. 3000 damage. (Just a question, how many respawns does John Egbert have left?)

Lexicus throws a trashcan at Zeus with style. Oh wait. Sorry, he literally throws his style at Zeus, dealing 5000 damage. (I think I didn't say my welcome, so welcome. Take a seat and enjoy the madness. And you don't need to cancel your charge. You can have 2 charges going and you can just rename your old charge.)

Talist puts a massive mirror above the battlefield, denying him of Solar Power regen this turn and making him lose 350 Solar Power. The Mirror then drops and deals 1000 damage.

Superman uses his Arctic Breath, using 200 Solar Power and reducing Entity damage next turn.

Arceus uses Judgement on Hunter, dealing 30000 damage to him.

Zeus attacks the Heavenbringer for 20000. He expends a Static Charge and does 5000 to the D4C. He then uses a Thunderbolt, Mortally Wounding Piono and gaining a Static Charge.

Usual stuff happens. Everyone gets a +2 from the Emblem, just in case people forget.

Heheh...I'm going on a Field Trip to New York for Drama Class, so I'm probably not going to be able to post for a few days. Sorry, guys. I'll try to pick up from where we left off after thr trip. Here's to hoping it won't be that big of a gap.

[RP AND ATTACKS] Kathryn uses the energy granted to her by the Disapparation Emblem, and takes out the Shiny Sword of Light and Darkness, before charging it with Light and Darkness. It becomes yet more pure energy, before she twirls it around, and preforms a few tricks in the air. Those tricks happen to accidently hit Zeus, Arceus, and Superman, with light and darkness cutting into all of them using the power of the Emblem. Superman then notices the Darkness Elemental activating Demonic Blast on his face.

Action: Anyway, I venture off into Dilbert land and get the Garbage man to revive Zeus's greatest enemy of all time... Ben Franklin! So he comes off the animated cartoon land and lectures Zeus about how he should have realized democracy was just a biiigggggg joke. And of course, that upsets Zeus because Greece used a democracy and Franklin is implying he invented the thing. And this leaves him wide open for Franklin to poke him with his lightning rod. Technology conquers the heavens! It drains his power because of that. Or something. Then zombie Franklin leaves and gets hit by a bus, completing the cycle. Now all he needs is an inheritance tax.

Hm.... would trying to introduce new characters be too confusing? Well, new to this session anyway. I want to get a resolution, but that would involve me having all 6 characters out at once, which might just be ill advised.

Hunter, meanwhile, changes to Silencer and reloads.

Lexicus tries to normal-punch the Godmodder, but he's not there. He then punches Zeus instead, dealing 4000 damage to him.

Infinity kicks Zeus with his beer-boosted overhead kicks, dealing 4500 damage. The D 4 C attacks Zeus with his High Voltage attack, dealing 20000 damage to him.

The Water Elemental attacks Arceus for 10000 damage. Then, the Heavenbringer follows up by crushing Arceus with roots, dealing 15000 damage. Then, Jindra attacks the plates, dealing 6000 damage to Arceus. (Oh crap, I did. Sorry about that.)

Kathryn uses a Disapparation-boosted Sword of Light and Darkness swing, dealing 7000 damage to each god. The Darkness Elemental follows up by blasting Superman's face with a Demonic Blast for 5000.

Speed uses the Love's Embrace Emblem on Hunter, granting him Immunity for two turns and will regenerate 5000 HP per turn. Hunter switches to Silencer mode and reloads. Speed then launches a Shadow Cannon at Superman, dealing 3000 damage.

Superman rests to regain 200 Solar Power and regenerates another 50.

Arceus uses it's Hyper Voice and deals 10000 damage to Infinity's barrier, the D 4 C's barrier, and Aarik.

Zeus attacks the Heavenbringer with his basic attack, using a Static Charge and dealing 20000 damage to the Heavenbringer and then 5000 to the Water Elemental. Then, he uses his Chain Lightning to attack the Glitched H 2 O and Beta for 10000 each, but Beta dodges. Zeus gains a Static Charge.

191... you know what, having one big charge reservoir has gone on for long enough, Zeus is about to shrekt us, and although I'm curious to see what his special does, I'm not that curious.

Splitting charge reservoir into two separate charges:

120/120 and 71/120. We're drawing up on the end relatively quickly anyways.

120/120 expended: The cavalry arrive! John flies straight towards Zeus screaming very loudly, waving his hammer around at high speed. He spins, spins and spins, bringing around a tornado with him. zeus tries to strike at him with a lightning bolt... and the entire thing dissipates.

And suddenly Zeus is struck from behind with a massive hammer. Sanford catches him on the upswing with the hook, swinging him down into the ground, where Hank has placed something very special. Eric, mind if we call in reinforcements for a few seconds? Fine, so long as they know it's just for this one attack.

And before Zeus can get up he's suddenly being held down by powerful psionic forces.

Now, at this point, I'd put in all the radio chatter that suddenly fills the background of the psychic chatroom that everyone's in as Hank, Sanford, Deimos, Eric, Wilson and John all have their comms connect with the rest of the network again. Sadly, tvtropes doesn't support enough colors for me to demonstrate the entire cast that's coming through. Let's just say this: utter chaos.

The massive portal the opens up shows a heated space battle. One that appears entirely one-sided despite the fact that one of the forces is numerically tiny compared to the other. Oh yes, the numerically tiny one is the one kicking the Imperium's tiny butt clear across subspace. It can be kind of hard to kill gods effectively when they know how to use their weaponry.

This is a view of the outer edges of Haven system, the home of the IUPC, where an errant roaming band of Imperium scouts somehow managed to pierce the number of deflectors and get in. They are now regretting that decision, and are being repelled forcefully so that Haven can relocate and reset the shield to avoid a repeat. That is not the important part right now.

The important part is that Tavros is currently riding a Destroyer like a mechanical bull. Through the portal. Straight into Zeus. Now, by this point, the Imperium is no longer recognizable quite like it once was when they first left their home universe. The standard Cobra and Viper class Destroyers are no longer in use.

The ones in use are still well over a kilometer in length though. As one might guess, this will not fit all the way through the portal. Not by a long shot. This portal isn't sized for large Void ships. It is sized for roughly tank sized things. This means that a a good 30 meter in diameter cylinder of supersteel slams into Zeus at relativistic speeds.

The cylinder slowly peels itself away from the slagged ground as the side of it that is still out in the vacuum is pulled outward and the entire thing is pushed back out through the portal. Unfortunately for Zeus, the force of that initial impact welded him to the bottom of it, so he goes into the extremely unfriendly space battle with it.

The following 20 minutes is a blur of teenage gods with swords, spears, and fancy santas (Dave learned a new strife specibus) as well as a lasers, rockets and machine guns. Additionally, there's also a lot of exploding warships and marines who have no idea how to deal with magic or technomancy. Let's just summarize it as this: Zeus got caught in the crossfire. All of it.

When he comes flying back out of the portal (courtesy of one Vriska Serket) he is in fewer than 20 pieces. Beyond that, I can't promise much.

Ooh, looks like someone's preparing a really big attack.

I boost the power of Piono's attack, and D4C kicks somebody in the face.

I then do some rearranging of my charges in order to be able to unleash Tera-Graviton sooner.

Tera-Graviton: 60/120 (+2 from Talist, +1 from Consumer, +2 from emblem, 22 transferred from my other charge to this one) HINT: Final Fantasy X. High damage, single target, with a little splash damage on the side. And probably some damage to the very battlefield itself, but collateral damage isn't something I'm all that concerned with

+1 to Talist, Consumer, and Piono.
